>>11656776never heard of sofubi, but enjoyed watching the first video on your list there. I watched that guy's video on toy wax. I'm still learning resin casting stuff (failed making a 2 part silicone mold twice so far...first time I had the tin cure ratio wrong and stayed gooey, 2nd the mold release didn't work for silicone on silicone), but once I figure that out I might have to try this technique out!

I've always been aware of sofubi and art toys in general but I've never pulled the trigger until recently I subscribed to Wonder Goblin after your recommendation and checked out his series and I'm happy to hear that he's planning on building a vinyl toy factory with his dad (announced and uploaded earlier today)https://youtu.be/TdU0XDuJMEkI did find the articles to be very informative and wanted to add Super7's magazine archive as well. How do artists go about copyright and trademarks? I know the Japanese have some sort of free pass when it comes to Comiket and WonFes but what about the rest of the world? Do artists ride on the line of parody and such? I know if they get big enough they could get legit collabs and stuff
After doing some research I've come up with some skills that would be useful for sofubi making>Draftmanship/sketching/artist>Sculptor >3D modeling (zbrush seems most common) >Airbrush painting >Networking Any others that should be included?
