I didn't see any foty threads so I thought I would make one myself hope that's ok >.<Feel free to post your top figure(s) and discuss other anons'. I picked 5 for myself but you can pick more or less. These are probably my favorites from the year in order from 1-5>1. Black Series AnakinLong over due but wait was worth it. He is really well designed and face likeness is easily one of the best, if not the best in the line. I am sad I couldn't get the SDCC Mustafar duel set with the extra heads and hands but even without them he is fantastic.>2. S.H.Figuarts Romance Dawn ZoroZoro is really fun to pose. Double knees would have been nice but even without them you can get him into a lot of cool poses. >3. Figma LaiosIdk I just like Laios and I'm glad they are making Dungeonmeshi figures. They will make for nice comfy displays and I am looking forward to the rest.>4. S.H.Figuarts Rei AyanamiThis one surprised me how much I like her. She has really good articulation and all the joints feel nice and smooth. desu I am an Asuka fag and don't really even care that much about Rei so I might have put Asuka on the list instead but I won't be getting her before the year ends.>5. Snail Shell Moderniangl I picked this one just to have some diversity and include a different company. But I do like her a lot. Snail Shell figures always have such pretty eyes. Her design is simple but sexy. The preposed lowerhalf is cool and has a nice booty. I like the Commander doll. I want more Nikke figuresI missed out on Figma Alice but I feel like she may have made my top 5. I also have some 2025 figures I won't get before the year ends like SHF Grievous, Figma 2B, and LPZZ Deathstroke. They might have taken some of the slots too but I can't say. I think Black Series had a really good year with lots of great releases. I love the Sandtrooper but I didn't want Star Wars to dominate my list since there are only 5. So yeah I am going to go with these as my favorites
>>11658643Honestly I think the three HASLAB Rattler figures were the best figures of the year.
>>11658678Fuck you, Anon.
are we talking about toys that came out 2025 or toys we bought in 2025?
>>11658643Blokees rei is much better
>>11658758Came out in 2025
>>11658643I think my top figure of 2025 (I think she came out this year?) might be Snail Shell Grisa. Granted I've mostly been buying older figures these days but god she's good. Really expressive, fun to mess with, cute and sexy.If we're talking purchases overall, I think it might be the JoyToy Venerable Dreadnought I got for like £60. That thing is an absolute beast of a figure.
>>11658794I really regret not getting Grisa. I have the recolor preordered but I think the original one is cuter
>>11658779Blokees Rei's face definitely looks cuter because the design is not going for animation accuracy. So I think it's not a fair comparison with SHF. SHF Rei's is going for animation accuracy with the long pointy chin and not too detailed hair strand. Not to mention Blokees Rei lacks fewer points of articulations.
>>11658928I've got the Figuarts Eva girls on PO myself, they look really good. I kinda want the Blokees too, to be fair. I've already got the 30MP on PO too so why not at this point?
>>11658932I've seen reviews and pictures of 30MP ones, I think those are not good.
>>11658961They look alright to me- articulation looks a touch limited but the sculpts look good. I'm buying them with the intent to repaint/modify them in some way shape or form, 'cuz they're model kits so why not. Also they're compatible with 30MS parts so I'm sure some fun can be had there.
the best figure I got in 2025 was that Toy Biz Iceman from 20 years ago that I bought. the absolute state of action figures
>>11658962>they're compatible with 30MS partsThis is the only selling point to me, if I were to get one.
>>11658932Don't forget to check out the upcoming Lado ones, they'll probably be bangers.
>>11658757>>11658678Also I only said that cos I am jealous of your Baroness, sorry Anon.
>>11658643Top 10 from most expensive to cheapest:Riobot G Compatible KaiserMondo 1/6 Mumm-raCCStoys AlteisenPose+ Getter DragonFrazetta Girls ConanShinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider StrongerAction Toys mini VoltronJoytoy KrangNeca Count von CountJada Sagat
>>11658643My top 5 in no particular order>Marvel Legends Maximum Spider Man Just an overall really good toy. Probably the definitive Spidey from Hasbro. Great articulation that is close to import quality, a plethora of accessories, and based off a lot of people's definitive version of Spidey. It's probably the best ML I've gotten all year, although I will mention that the Born Again figures and ROM were pretty close runner ups for ML.>Black Series Dash RendarThis was kind of a huge deal for me as I assumed this was a never ever in Black Series. They did my boy justice, sure he has kind of a clean shaven look but he's been depicted with that look so I'm fine with it. They did a good job with him imo. BS has a lot of good releases this year, the ANH crew turned out really nice imo, Anakin and Obi Wan were great, BS really brought me back this year after only getting maybe 2 or 3 the previous year.>SS86 Devastator I'm counting this as a single release even though it took the better part of a year for him to come out. The individual figures are each pretty good. Some definitely being better than others, but they all look good together, same for their alt modes. Devastator's combined mode is really where he shines though. Holy shit. He actually balances decently, he can pose well, and he's got a nice combination. SS86 has been pretty fantastic, Megatron was considered for this list but Devastator was just too great.1/2
>>116590302/2>SHF Games Begin GokuReally a great step forward in engineering for SHF. It took a tad getting used to the new articulation scheme but once I got the hang of it, it works really well. You can really get some nice looking poses. The faces SHF has been putting out are also the best they've done. The new Bardock's faces look like they are right out of the anime. >Amazing Yamaguchi Deadpool 2.5Just an overall amazing figure. Has the amazing AY articulation, every accessory you'd ever need, and a great looking paint job. Really the definitive Deadpool figure. He's a little fiddly if you aren't used to AY but he really came out great. I'm very happy with mine.
I dont have a proper top 5I will post my t deceptions of 2025 tooNo top 5, buit my favotites of 2025 . No order >Figmas Mona and RyzaLove both even not being perfect in coom department.>Snail Shell Lustia Purple and NunOutside Lustia the horn rings flaw, both are good for no popular/unknown Brand. I ordered the German Bunny .>Figmas Kancolle ( Nagato, Mutso, Prinz and ShimakazeNagato feels dated but still my favorite alongside the others ships. For 2026, i would hunt for Kashima and Amatsukaze figmas.Deceptions>Figma Power ( chainsawman)I got a new one very cheap as a import. After some time, i got bored due her extra faces with no variety of expression.>Sanada Yukimura - Keepgoing It could have been one of the best of 2005. Prices, accessories, tomboiy, and good faces. But my figure has serious QC problems with the paint. I give up in ordering Noubunaga.>30 minutes sister SestiehShe's not bad at all, and she's my first girlpla. Apparently, I had the bad luck of the pegs/joints of her feet pooping out even after using methods to reinforce them. She has extra pegs for the arms, but Bandai didn't do the same for the feet. I'm waiting for the extra parts for the arms and legs to arrive.
>>11658928Rei blokees has more ass and titsThe idea is making a custom of her as Shinji mom, Yui.
In no particular order:>Mess Toys Black Suit Neighbor>Lado Toys Liya Alopex>Figuarts Gon and Kilua>Marvel Legends Rom>Loose Collector GrendelAll of the other shit I bought this year that could compete (like Sexyice Manticora or the Arcanadea snek) is currently trapped in my HLJ private warehouse or were just small impulse purchases that didn't wow me.
I’m a simple man. I like ninjas and robots.
>>116591841 Daredevil 2 shinobi3 cyborg Superman 4 wolverine 5 iron manHonorable mention is Raph
My top favourites of 2025 list (in no particular order):>Black Series Dash Rendar>Marvel Legends ROM: Spaceknight>Marvel Legends X-Men '97 Emma Frost>Marvel Legends X-Men '97 Morph>Marvel Legends Gamerverse Wolverine (Marvel Vs. The only reason I bought it was because I sold all my MK figs a few years ago and I wanted the 90's looks but having them out for a while they do nothing and I'll probably sell them off eventually.>Transformers generations line (Legacy./AOTP) was bad this year. Flimsy toys, bad distribution. High prices. The big commander classes are fine but the deulux and voyagers I'm gonna cut back on.
>>11658643Nice thread. Throwing my hat in here.Mixed feelings about 2025. I picked up some very cool stuff that just won’t make it into the top 5 for very specific reasons, but I’ll make a follow-up “honorable mentions” post. The fact that Amazing Yamaguchi Chun Li is up here is proof that there were a variety of mixed releases that weren’t perfect. With that said:1) RG Shining Gundam. Fun build and super impressive to see all the super mode stuff working at 1/144 scale. Really just a great kit that does things way better than the RG God Gundam. No complaints, which makes it one of the best releases of the year.2) Blockees Snorlax. Honestly, all of L Wave 2 was great but my Scyther has QC issues and though I love Lucario, the VAH was better. But this is a hilarious dream come true, a fatass catbear with multiple points of articulation and a fucking mega punch effect piece. As a longtime Pokemon fan this one was a delight.3) Figma Ganondorf. Honestly, there’s some stuff about this guy that’s a bit odd, but this is the largest Figma I’ve ever owned and it looks amazing. It also has a great amount of accessories and a very meme-worthy face. Maybe the only modern Max Factory figure I’ve owned that felt like it was worth the price.4) Amplified KaiserGreymon, what a surprise and delight. Never had a humanoid Amplified kit before but this is dynamic, well-articulated, and clearly has planned DLC which is exciting, though not for my wallet. Incredibly imposing and maybe should have had a bit more parts separation and less stickers for the price point, but I can live with it.5) And last, we have Amazing Chun Li. I already gave an overview in the Revoltech thread, but I’ve been waiting for this one for a while and she (mostly) didn’t disappoint.
Despite some flaws, they are still decent figures.SHF Char: The best one this year, but I would've preferred him to come with an unmasked head.Buzzmod Ryo:I wish they'd given him more faces or weapons, and his jacket sucks.SHF Grievous:His hip joints are a mess, but overall he's great.SHF Shin-chan:He's abnormally overscaled but has great articulation.Blokees Haibara:A great figure, but I would've preferred her regular outfit.
>>11659771>His hip joints are a mess, but overall he's greatI don't have him yet but I watched a review and yeah they seem kinda retarded. Wish they just went with ball joints. Feel like they could have tried at least a little to update the sculpt than to release as is a decade old design
>>11659184>Shitty7
>>11659184The Jakks Shinobi is out? Man if orogt about him!I need him to pair with my Axel
Hiya toys Godzilla (91) and Ghidorah (91)Are easily in the top 2 spots for me They take the things that monsterarts were amazing for like detail and poseability while improving things like size and hand feel at a SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper price than bandai 's offeringsOther top figures for me as well would have to be Blockees MikuMissing link primeAnd the rg shining
Ive bought so few toys this year that i cant remember when i got what Mcfarlane Cyborg Superman A Marvel Legends SpidermanThe world of Sega RooSketchbook series Sy KloneMOTU Origins Despara [not because its an awesome toy but ive been waiting for her for years now]BLOKEESId be more expressive here but i honestly cant recall too much of 2025 outside of fear and stress and depression.
>>11658643Quinn LeeStorm RyuRomankey Jessica AsterSnail Shell Tactical Maid Tokiwa Kazune
>>11659856Did Rebecca release this year? Jeez, I might need to update my list. I’ve lost track of time.
>>11658643I haven't opened any of the toys I bought this year. I think it's over for me I just don't care anymore.
>>11659698…actually, I need to seriously revise this. I was just looking back through my albums after realizing Rebecca Aster was released this year and damn. I gotta include some other guys.
>>11659860>I haven't opened any of the toys I bought this year. I think it's over for me I just don't care anymore.Yeah, honestly, I haven't been buying figures like I used to this year and a lot of what I did buy were statues or backtracking on older figures. The few actual 2025 figures I bought I haven't gotten around to opening yet.
>>11659856I've seen a lot of people putting Quinn Lee in their top figures for this year. I'm not familiar with Street Fighter so I didn't get her but I did preorder the blank which I'm looking forward to after hearing how good that sculpt is.
These are the figures I ejoyed the most this year, snail shell and blokees are just dunking over anything else in their respectives price ranges
>>11658643Here are my top figures of the year:#1 Sun Wukong#2 Ryu Hayabusa#3 Grommash Hellscream#4 Chun-li#5 Ken
Rogue: because I need her to match my Gambit. The Thing: Found him at a comic con, a friend talked me into buying it. (I had to get Mr. Fantastic, then ordered Sue and Johnny online to complete the set) The Beast: Working on getting all the X-Men that appeared in Capcom games. Was 70, but haggled the guy at the Retro game con to 55 since it was the last dayThe Punisher: I already had one, but this more comic accurate. From the same booth I got Beast from. Never liked the red headband so switched the alternate head real quickNightcrawler: Ordered him online. He and Gambit are my favorite X-Men. I’m going to a con in Portland in a couple weeks, looking for some out the box figures for cheap. Hoping to find some X-Men villains.
Top 3StarQueen ShionShimo
>>11660572None of these came out this year...
>>11658643I didn't get a lot this year, and there's some recency bias, but:5.- SH Figuarts PanFun little figure, really fun to pose around.4.- Snail Shell - Zombie GrisaJust overall surprised by the quality and how much you get from Snail Shell, this was my first figure from them. The way they approach hot babe articulation is unique, sometimes that means great results and sometimes not so great, but I lean more on positive.3.- Blokees Eva - 01Easily one of the best tv eva 01s ever made, if not the best? the bar is very low at this point tho, tv evas have been displaced by rebuild ones, regardless I'm happy to get anything. This is a model kit, but is very easy to put together and basically requires no paint, unless you want to add very minor and specific details.2.- SH Figuarts GokuSome controversial decisions with this new FINALLY updated body, it's definitive not perfect but is really fun to pose and you can easily feel the leap it takes forward.1.- Masterverse NE Battle Armor SkeletorTechnically a last year figure, but I got it this year. very out of place for this list, but the whole year I kept looking back at him and just being really happy with it, the bulky armor makes him look closer to the proportions I prefer in MOTU and the head sculpt is one of the best for the character period.
>>11661084Does that TV 01 has two versions? Im seeing photos where the plastic is normal and others where is chromed
>>11661094I saw you on the other thread! not that I know, I'm fairly new to blokees tho so I could be wrong. He does look very different in that one pic you posted so who knows, all I found when looking for the figure was the shinny one I own.
>>11661102Thanks for the answer anon, I think that pics with the regular plastic finish are actually just early renders and toy fair prototypes because I can't find people who have buy it with other than the metallic finish
>>11661271Yeah that's what I was thinking too, maybe one of em "these are the colors we had on left in the machine" type of deals.
Okay going through my receipts and holy shit this year was way better than it had any right to be. Honorable mentions? Screw it, we’re just adding on to the list.Stararc Toys is known more for their Lovecraft stuff, and it sucks that they’ve been relatively radio silent on the rest of this line, because this release kicked ass. This guy is big, has great paint apps (for the most part) and an extremely detailed sculpt. Articulation is a bit lacking but for how massive he is, I appreciate his stability.
>>11661874This was a fun year for Cyberpunk stuff, and Rebecca was no exception. I’m definitely kicking myself for missing out on the special version with the additional accessories and faces, but the basic version is still fun and expressive. The face sculpt is really something,
>>11661883And of course, hate to be the Unkposter, but with Manticore releasing late this year I almost forgot about this guy. While I know Smasher isn’t everyone’s cup of tea aesthetically, I hope we get more variations on this guy in the future because everyone deserves to have a copy. Amazing articulation scheme and detailing, maybe one of the best figures in my collection at the moment.
>>11661084I really like the metallic purple on Eva-01, reminds me of the old pre-Revoltech Kaiyodo figures.
Nobody liked the SH Figuarts Guts? Definitely my top toy
>>11661886Feeling dat FOMO on Unk :( also hoping for more variants that aren’t faggy football shit. It was an interesting idea but seemed too clean and brightly colored for the setting they are going for
>>11662039Completely understand, anon. They seem to be pretty willing to develop Unk-adjacent stuff at a faster pace than new molds (unsurprisingly), what with Smasher releasing very soon after Manticore despite only being announced this year. So I’m hoping something more tame in nature comes along for folks who missed out.
>>11661886>>11662039I am also a bit bummed out on missing them. Weird that they are so anti reissue when Unkval was basically the first real test for the line after the significantly simpler mantis girl and most people didn't even hear about them until they were long gone. The Smashers and bugs are more my kind of thing but it still sucks having a single figure from a line being pure unobtainium especially since Manticora came with a part for them.
>>11661937I liked him but compared to a lot of the stuff that came out he’s probably not even in my top 10
5. Any of the Storm Arena figures. (Yujiro, Ryu, Ken). All 3 are complete fire and really surprised me with how good they are. 4. SHF Akaza. Incredibly fun to pose, really good sculpt. would be higher if it wasn't for the cuts on the back of his vest.3. Revoltech Mirko. A blast to pose, great sculpt, very good face plates. 2. SHF Final Form Cooler 20th anniversary edition. Love, love, love this one. Cooler is such a good design, and he's got a lot of play factor with his size and tail. has a ton of hands and even an unmasked face.1. BD OR ZT BrolyThese two figurres really blew me away. Im a massive broly fan and these both capture different aspects of Broly that i like. I think ZT has better accessories but the faceplates really need to be sanded down before you try to put them in.
>>11662943I paid aftermarket prices for Mirko after hearing so many good things about her but ended up being kind of disappointed. Mine had really tight and squeaky joints which I tried to fix with shock oil but maybe made them too loose. And some are still squeaky. So I just don’t like playing with her
I gotta say Unkval EliminatorBy far the best figure in my collection, great articulation, great design and quality, only downsides are the elbows and that he can't look up.
>>11662986Damn, that really sucks. Mine didn't have any qc, but i know revoltech really has a lot of issues in that department. Its a shame that they really seem not to give a fuck anymore.
>>11661084I forgot i did get a Grisa and Aileen and yeah Snail Shell seems really nice. I dont have them out so they kinda slipped my mind but fingers crossed i can actually afford a few more this year.
>>11658643Mythic Legions Sir EnochFury Toys WukongXCocoon not-Chun LiXesray Gold HildrLPZZ BatmanTemplar old-ish guy is stylish as fuck and he's on a newer Mythic Legions buck that's not clumsy. I loved the moderate monkey-like proportions of Fury Toys Wukong. Chun Li has a great body, and recreating Chun Li poses is stupid fun, specially since she has no skirt or any other hurdles. Hildr is a nice looking figure overall. Batman is a great 1/12 release of the character, and the videogame design allows it to go well with both comic or realistic figures.A few of them have shortcomings, though. Wukong lacks a wild face unless you buy a whole alt version of the figure, Chun Li's face is a bit dull, and Hildr is abnormally dark-skinned compared to what you'd expect.
all four neca 2012 turtles share the spot, but i finally picked out my top 5 2025 releasesmdlx megaman x would've been #3 if his shoulder pads didn't come off so easily. also wish his ankles had the same amount of tilt as the truforce x from years ago, but it makes up for it with the magnetic feetjada sagat, i actually have no issues with. he's damn goodshf daima adult goku is mad fun, no issues with him eithershfss ryuki is everything i wanted in a redone ryukifinally, i just wish that the neca turtles all came with closed mouth faces. i know it makes sense for raph to have the yelling face, but having closed mouths for raph and mikey would've been nice, for consistency
>>11666731Neca is hot garbage
>>11666871my brother, normally i'd agree, but i'll honestly take what i can get for the 2012 turtles. that said, these are legit leagues better than normal neca shit, which surprised me

>>11658643my top 5:1. Figma Raging Wolf (Elden Ring)2. Figma Link DX (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)3. Figma Eunie (Xenoblade 3)4. S.h. Figuarts Malenia (Elden Ring)5. Hammond Collection Spinosaurus (Jurassic park 3)
These are my top 5, 2025 was a great year for figures all around. My figma Skull Knight still isn’t here but he would’ve been in my top 5 if he was.
>>11666871The Howling figure was one of my favs of the year :)
