I didn't see any foty threads so I thought I would make one myself hope that's ok >.<Feel free to post your top figure(s) and discuss other anons'. I picked 5 for myself but you can pick more or less. These are probably my favorites from the year in order from 1-5>1. Black Series AnakinLong over due but wait was worth it. He is really well designed and face likeness is easily one of the best, if not the best in the line. I am sad I couldn't get the SDCC Mustafar duel set with the extra heads and hands but even without them he is fantastic.>2. S.H.Figuarts Romance Dawn ZoroZoro is really fun to pose. Double knees would have been nice but even without them you can get him into a lot of cool poses. >3. Figma LaiosIdk I just like Laios and I'm glad they are making Dungeonmeshi figures. They will make for nice comfy displays and I am looking forward to the rest.>4. S.H.Figuarts Rei AyanamiThis one surprised me how much I like her. She has really good articulation and all the joints feel nice and smooth. desu I am an Asuka fag and don't really even care that much about Rei so I might have put Asuka on the list instead but I won't be getting her before the year ends.>5. Snail Shell Moderniangl I picked this one just to have some diversity and include a different company. But I do like her a lot. Snail Shell figures always have such pretty eyes. Her design is simple but sexy. The preposed lowerhalf is cool and has a nice booty. I like the Commander doll. I want more Nikke figuresI missed out on Figma Alice but I feel like she may have made my top 5. I also have some 2025 figures I won't get before the year ends like SHF Grievous, Figma 2B, and LPZZ Deathstroke. They might have taken some of the slots too but I can't say. I think Black Series had a really good year with lots of great releases. I love the Sandtrooper but I didn't want Star Wars to dominate my list since there are only 5. So yeah I am going to go with these as my favorites
>>11658643Honestly I think the three HASLAB Rattler figures were the best figures of the year.
>>11658678Fuck you, Anon.
are we talking about toys that came out 2025 or toys we bought in 2025?
>>11658643Blokees rei is much better
>>11658758Came out in 2025
>>11658643I think my top figure of 2025 (I think she came out this year?) might be Snail Shell Grisa. Granted I've mostly been buying older figures these days but god she's good. Really expressive, fun to mess with, cute and sexy.If we're talking purchases overall, I think it might be the JoyToy Venerable Dreadnought I got for like £60. That thing is an absolute beast of a figure.
>>11658794I really regret not getting Grisa. I have the recolor preordered but I think the original one is cuter
>>11658779Blokees Rei's face definitely looks cuter because the design is not going for animation accuracy. So I think it's not a fair comparison with SHF. SHF Rei's is going for animation accuracy with the long pointy chin and not too detailed hair strand. Not to mention Blokees Rei lacks fewer points of articulations.
>>11658928I've got the Figuarts Eva girls on PO myself, they look really good. I kinda want the Blokees too, to be fair. I've already got the 30MP on PO too so why not at this point?
>>11658932I've seen reviews and pictures of 30MP ones, I think those are not good.
>>11658961They look alright to me- articulation looks a touch limited but the sculpts look good. I'm buying them with the intent to repaint/modify them in some way shape or form, 'cuz they're model kits so why not. Also they're compatible with 30MS parts so I'm sure some fun can be had there.
the best figure I got in 2025 was that Toy Biz Iceman from 20 years ago that I bought. the absolute state of action figures
>>11658962>they're compatible with 30MS partsThis is the only selling point to me, if I were to get one.
>>11658932Don't forget to check out the upcoming Lado ones, they'll probably be bangers.
>>11658757>>11658678Also I only said that cos I am jealous of your Baroness, sorry Anon.

>>11658643My top 5 in no particular order>Marvel Legends Maximum Spider Man Just an overall really good toy. Probably the definitive Spidey from Hasbro. Great articulation that is close to import quality, a plethora of accessories, and based off a lot of people's definitive version of Spidey. It's probably the best ML I've gotten all year, although I will mention that the Born Again figures and ROM were pretty close runner ups for ML.>Black Series Dash RendarThis was kind of a huge deal for me as I assumed this was a never ever in Black Series. They did my boy justice, sure he has kind of a clean shaven look but he's been depicted with that look so I'm fine with it. They did a good job with him imo. BS has a lot of good releases this year, the ANH crew turned out really nice imo, Anakin and Obi Wan were great, BS really brought me back this year after only getting maybe 2 or 3 the previous year.>SS86 Devastator I'm counting this as a single release even though it took the better part of a year for him to come out. The individual figures are each pretty good. Some definitely being better than others, but they all look good together, same for their alt modes. Devastator's combined mode is really where he shines though. Holy shit. He actually balances decently, he can pose well, and he's got a nice combination. SS86 has been pretty fantastic, Megatron was considered for this list but Devastator was just too great.1/2
>>116590302/2>SHF Games Begin GokuReally a great step forward in engineering for SHF. It took a tad getting used to the new articulation scheme but once I got the hang of it, it works really well. You can really get some nice looking poses. The faces SHF has been putting out are also the best they've done. The new Bardock's faces look like they are right out of the anime. >Amazing Yamaguchi Deadpool 2.5Just an overall amazing figure. Has the amazing AY articulation, every accessory you'd ever need, and a great looking paint job. Really the definitive Deadpool figure. He's a little fiddly if you aren't used to AY but he really came out great. I'm very happy with mine.
