NECA seems to be doing a lot more slashers again, always nice to see.Happy Death Day Babyface killer retro cloth went up for order a short time ago.
Santa Ghost Face tease on Christmas.
Blood soaked Pennywise from Welcome to Derry's finale.
Malthus from The Conjuring movies.
And the newest reveal, Toony Terror Fisherman from I Know What You Did Last Summer.Note this is not the hook tease either, so there's still an ultimate/retro cloth coming.
>>11668540I hate those conjuring movies because the warrens were massive fucking frauds and i heard the reason why the nightmare on elm street movies havent gotten made again is because conjuring is so successful for new line cinema.
>>11668562Huh? Why would they even make another? Robert doesn't want to as it's too physically taxing and he's older. Recasting Freddy would just be a disaster.
>>11668777>Recasting Freddy would just be a disaster. They already did, and he did fine. It was the rest of the movie that was the problem.
>>11668830Agreed, if another film is tried give Jackie another shot at Freddy, he wasn't the issue as you said. Also use makeup more inline with classic Freddy, drop the realistic burn look nonsense.
There's a lot of reissues hitting. And it appears, for the most part, if the code on the bottom of the box above the UPC ends in "25" the figures have the new ball jointed hips. Nightmare 1 Freddy, 2014 Michael Myers, even the Jungle Hunter predator, just like we saw on those recent Jasons.
>>11668534>retro cloth Wake me up when they do the Ultimate. Don’t want a Mego figure with baggy ass clothes.
>>11669131That's neater and more organized than any Target I hit. It's also the first time I've seen a Pee Wee in the wild that wasn't some hipster boutique.
>>11669286Pee Wee seems to be getting restocked at stores. Took them a while.
>>11670094Toy Fair is in a month or so
>>11670256100%, necafag will cope about it too
>>11670256>>11670654Weak trolling
>>11671121Looks like the only one complaining, is you. Maybe do something else wirh your very sad life.
>>11671151Gimme toonys of Charlie Horse and Hush Puppy and yea please.
Target's site just got a bunch of 18" stuff in stock
>>11668542Did he have an actual hook hand in one of the movies?
>>11668540Ive never seen these movies, why does he have two different type of feet?
>>11669131This is more what I am used to.Although I have also noticed that some Targets are doing Turtle end-caps and other NECA displays in other sections, usually right after they get a lot of fresh stock. Not sure if the vendors are actually the ones coming in and doing this or the store employees are.
>>11671909I'm not aure how that works. I know for the big Haulathon stuff the store does it and has a planogram set. It's sad cause that section would be real easy to clean up if the employees cared (and didn't treat the area as hands off because it's a vendor spot).
The one thing I’ll say about here is that it’s generally fortified against any of the board schizos, for example I haven’t seen a big paragraph on warhammer crap in my time here.Valve should give some of their licenses back to NECA to make new figures again I feel, even if some of the franchises haven’t gotten much period before, a full set of 8 for Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 would be amazing, since a lot of people still desire a Coach figure, but what would you want to see?
For anyone collecting Robocop, the company doing the Villains of Old Detroit figures are doing a Lewis figure.
>>11672529They're also making a Robocop.
>>11672531
>>11672532The new Robocop
>>11672533How he scales next to the Neca one. It means Lewis will be close to the same height of the Neca Robocop if that bothers anyone who wanted to blend the figures together.
>>11672534Supposedly there's a sculpted face under the figures helmet, which was designed to be removable, but is glued on, because they couldn't afford the likeness rights for an unmasked face portrait.
>>11672532
>>11672538
>>11672491Is Valve even licensing anything of theirs at all?
Oh hey, they're finally releasing the 8-bit Toony Jason! Has an axe instead of the machete, so they changed that from the initial planned figure. The 8-bit Freddy will stay stuck in legal hell I guess.
I really admire the detail on this Samurai pred. The modern articulation helps too, though it can be hindered by the decorative armor.
>>11674242I wasn't SUPER excited about this when announced, but in hand it pops visually a lot more than in photos.
>>11674245Jesus these new captchas are cumbersome
>>11674248
>>11674250And much bulkier than the Jungle Hunter.
My Ben Cooper TMNT wave just shipped out
>>11674248The mask design is the four mandibles and the inner mouth. That's a pretty neat detail!
>>11672532Those elbows look fragile. Also really soft sculpt. Why couldn't NECA do these?
>>11675168Licensing, mostly. Plus there's always a concern on demand and how it'll sell. Which is why these cost so damn much.
>>11674749My Sandworm and BJ shipped. Guess the store got a bunch of new stuff in. Good to see it. Wondering when some of it will hit stores though.
I don't know if anyone still needs them, but NECA has some of the D&D vintage style lost wave up on Wizkids, $60:https://shop.wizkids.com/products/dungeons-dragons-lost-wave-4-scale-action-figures-4-pack
>>11674255He looks good, but it bugs me that pretty much all the modern Predators starting with the AvP ones seem totally out of scale with the Jungle Hunter and City Hunter bodies.
>>11676634I think they're just making predators bigger in the movies ever since AVP
>>11677578>>MuppetsSuper7 is pegwarming these as with the Peanuts stuff they are also pushing hard and it's not selling, although that may be just Super7 overprices shit and some of it looks like crap.
>>11674242Head is 25% too big.
>>11678305>retard doesn't know how masks and helmets work
>>11678441Worse, I don't think he's seen predator before
>>11678689Sorta kinda did, they seem to be doing those weird vinyls now.
>>11677578Ghoulies would be a lot of fun. A toony of the one in the toilet would be great.
>>11678689I keep getting swamped with emails - maybe it's stock they are trying to clearance. I don't know enough about Super7 to know what's actually new. My point is I'm just not sure NECA can sell something in the same price points or higher, even if the quality is better. For example, I don't think people think Tooney's are better quality than the vinyl Super7 stuff. But obviously, the NECA action figures are better quality, although I still haven't taken the one Super7 Deluxe I bought last year out of it's blister pack so maybe it's just as good as any NECA 7" figure?
>>11679972Which Super7 figure is it?
>>11678271>some of it looks like crap. That's my excuse, anyway.
>>11676634I think they're just bigger in the media now.Has the black and white Creature dried up? I didn't get one when it was out and now I'm struggling to find one.
Big Bird goes up for order this Wednesday.
>>11681532
>>11681534
>>11680015>Which Super7 figureThe Deluxe Iron Giant, which I grabbed when it was half-off for Black Friday at Amazon. Had walked by it at Target's NECA/Funko/Reaction/weeb anime section because $35 felt like too much for an oversized ReAction but then saw a review afterwards showing how well it articulated and regretted it. Never saw it again at a Target and it never popped up as available to order all summer. Then, I ended up getting a second one in late December from /toy/ Secret Santa. So now I have two, both unopened.
>>11681532>>11681534>>11681535Awesome, now we just need Grover, Cookie Monster, and Elmo
>>11681726Grover's going to be a 2 pack with Mr. Johnson
>>11681726Elmo ain't happening my dude.
>>11677578>Power Rangers (but specifically just the villains/monsters)>Mystery Science Theater 3000
>>11681532I love that he comes with his early, shitty-looking head, but the eyes on his regular head look too far apart. They should be the same distance as the eyes on his early shitty head.
>>11681804No, they're where they oughta be on the modern head
>>11681808Huh, you're right. Weird. I wonder why they look so far apart on the figure to me, then.
>>11681532Little Bird would've been nice.
>>11681845Because the eyes sit more flush into the beak on the actual costume. Most people have Big Bird imprinted into their brains from when they were kids so any slight difference is going to trigger an uncanny valley response.
>>11677578I mean, since they did the Universal Monsters and if they did something like the Three Stooges, there's a bunch of things they could mine - the OG Addams Family, the Munsters, Bewitched, they should just use their mailing list and run a poll and see what the market would bear. But they really should do a George Reeves Superman - it would be a huge seller but it would sell. And I wouldn't mind NECA's take on the Fleischer shorts. If fucking Mezco wasn't going to let us army build the Mechanical Monster's, I'm fine with NECA giving us a set.
>>11681739Elmo sad
>>11681963Bewitched would make good retro cloths honestly. I'd like Dick Van Dyke or something too.
>>11681532>>11681886The alphabet sign from "ABC-DEF-GHI," or the banner from the '80s remake, would've been nice too. Or both, really, they're simple enough.
Any new aliens or preds coming?
>>11682523Figures from Badlands, currently.
>>11682602>Weird 80s characters like Digit and Leon>Newer characters Palisades didn't even have the chance to get to like Walter, Constantine, and 80s Robot>Plus whatever classic characters they didn't get around toYes, please.
>>11682369Costs, I'm sure. Maybe in an accessory pack. They're sure teasing that sign post anyway.
>>11683658Wasn't the cape that came with The Count a more modern version? I'm sure I remember Trevor saying CTW wanted that cape and that he hopes to be able to do the vintage style cape in a future release.
the last 1/4 Alien big chap release is from ~2019 right? isn't it about time for a new sculpt of that? they really need to fix the mouth proportions to be more movie accurate
>>11683967No, they really don't.
>>11677578Ultimate Ernest with accessories from Scared Stupid and Goes to Jail.
>>11684608Scared Stupid deserves toys so bad
Supposedly, Target refused to renew the agreement with NECA because the vendors were restocking or keeping the areas straightened up. So this is the last year to expect any NECA at major brick and mortar retail.
>>11685242>the agreement was ended because the stores were keeping cleanHuh??
Is there any plans to release the other ass-half of Thia?
>>11672532>>11672534So she's going to be bigger than NECA's Alex Murphy? Fuck. Why is NECA not doing Lewis?
>>11685449phone postingobv missed the "not" in: not keeping
>>11685242That's a cool lie you just told, man. >>11685986It's missing a big thing...truth. Because there isn't a lick of it.
>>11685920We don't know yet. I could see it happening, mostly because we haven't seen how Thia herself is being released (though I'm guessing she comes with Bud).We could get her sister though, since it's a shared likeness right. Maybe some legs as accessories there, hah.
>>11685242
>>11686944
>>11687656I mean he's not happening, so not really.
