Now that they're days are essentially numbered without the TMNT license, Power Rangers is pretty much dead, and Monsterverse doesn't make nearly as much money as Mattel's Jurassic toys, will you miss them or not?
>>11680311>will you miss when a company that makes childrens toys no longer makes childrens toysWhat the Fuck kind of soys boyism is this?
>>11680313This is toy sir, we all like children toys here
>>11680311In a nostagia kinda way, sure.
>>11680387Typo. You guys know what I mean.
>>11680348Speak for yourself ya liberal sissy, i only enjoy FULL GROWN MAN TOYS! Yeah, thats right, MAN TOYS! Stuff like GI JOE, STARTING LINEUP, MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, SNAIL SHELL, BLOKEES, ZURU blind bags, IMAGINEXT blind bags WWE ULTIMATES etc etc etc. So you go sit at the kids table with your safety scissors and cut up hot dogs and dry cheerios and let us men be men.
>>11680311>Power Rangers is pretty much deadThey are making bank on PR and the reboot is right around the corner. They’ll be fine doomfag.
They did the Dick Tracy toys, right? And every one was basically based off their TMNT Casey Jones?
>>11680454>Hasbro told Toei to eat shit years ago.>Super Sentai is pretty much on life supportIf anything PR is in the same category as GI Joe and Masters of The Universe even though it's not even from the 80s.
Oh enough with the doom and gloom, already. They'll be fine. They better be anyway.
>Monsterverse doesn't make nearly as much money as Mattel's Jurassic toysStill does enough to keep going. And Supernova is in a year.
>>11680387Even when the company was in it's prime they would do stupid shit like cancel toylines immediately after showing off future figures and pulling the plug on the mainline TMNT series in 1994 to focus on random incoherent shit (Super Mutants, Jim Lee Turtles, Star Trek Turtles, Metal Mutants etc.) right as the Red Sky seasons came out and had a bunch of new shit like secondary mutations and new villains.
>>11680454>They are making bank on PRLiar
>>11680506They might. They haven't said either way yet.
>>11680483But the red sky era was kinda shitty though...
>>11680311>they're days are essentially numberedIf "their" days were as low as your IQ they'd be in serious trouble, but fortunately for them that isn't the case.
>>11680506>Target online sales, months after release
>>11680311they cancelled a bunch of their toys, that's worse than Hasbro's rinse and repeat every other year strategy and both leave you holding an incomplete dick when they decide the line dies
>>11680848Is 10k good for toy sales?
>>11681349>Is 10k good for toy sales?First let's take into consideration that a Haslab is typically in the 10k range. That's considered bare minimum to turn a profit, though the price is also increased as a result of the low unit count. 20k is more in line with a minimum retail release. Next, this data is only from one month of sales, and only the online sales at that. That set released in September, so still clocking 10k+ online sales over the last month seems solid to me. Wouldn't be surprised if it's sold 50k+ totalThe Morpher is the more impressive number. It's less at 8k, but the toy was released earlier, in July. It's also not a store exclusive, and can be purchased at Walmart stores and websites and Amazon. The Morpher selling 8k units over the last month at Target's website in spite of being out for 6 months and available from other places is pretty impressive. The Morpher is likely over 150k units sold.
>>11680311I mean they survived all those years when TMNT was dead and had no toyline, after the original show ended and 2003 started. Same when the 2003 show ended and before 2012 began. they'll do fine.
>>11681512>I mean they survived all those years when TMNT was dead and had no toyline,That was mainly due to World of Springfield. Too bad Jakks now has the Simpsons license.
>>11681512Weren't they doing Star Trek then?
>>11681512Wrong
>>11681498Target actually shows in store sales on their website. I know because I have the Psylocke Thanos set to ping me if the page ever goes in stock and it never did, yet shows 900+ sales in the month right now.
>>11680311they should get the rampage license to make toys
>>11681744Someone should. And WB should make a new one.
>>11681744You just know this would be monkeypawed to be the Rock movie.
>>11682355but they already had their fun
>>11683711... Oh, wow. I did not know these existed.
>>11682347they should make a rampage game like thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83pYeSVnt-Ebut the monsters being more faithful to their scaling sizes
>>11683725https://youtu.be/psMPwGDxVtk?t=149
>>11683727Ew, wasn't this a Kinect game?
>>11680311I said as much in a previous TMNT thread but Godzilla is their lifeline now. They need to reroute all those TMNT resources to Goji and milk that big green bastard for all he's worth. Import the vinyls, make a Godzilla classic line encompassing the legacy roster that scales with Monsterverse figures, push blind bags, etc.Outside of that I could see them cozying upto Hasbro some more. Playmates O-ring Gi Joes dont seem that far fetched to me, not to mention Micronauts and all the other idle hasbro IP. They have extensive history with fashion dolls aswell so let them take MLP for a spin.
>>11685710PC. Tho only thing the kinect game has was just concept art.
