>$910How did lego do it? They actually pay for it... the whales...
>>11681399Onions, onions everywhere.
>>11681399Pokemon fans are mentally ill paypigs
>>11681399>the whalesdont get me talking about vidya whales anon
>>11681399Nintendo and Lego have too much in common:They overcharge everything for little. They ruin everything they get.People buy their products anyway because brand loyalty.
>>11684751They also both have long histories of making high quality, beloved products.
>>11681399serious question for legoniggers: aside from a couple of the proprietary bits like the pieces with printed eyes and mouths, what exactly is stopping someone from just ordering all the pieces for one of these online and building it with a scan of the manual? It can't possibly be more expensive than paying the full 900 burgers + tax + shipping + scalper tax, can it?
>>11684845And that's why they also suck the rest of the time. Ninjago and Dreamzz still good, but also Star Wars and licensed shitMetroid Prime 4 finally but it's shit, then also Pokemon Lego finally but also shit
>>11681399it's called a credit card op
>>11684868Because these sets use special shades of certain colors for bricks and have WAY WAY WAY WAY MORE unique to the set pieces only available in said set.As such you are going to pay double or triple buying the pieces individually if you even can find them on Brick link
>>11684868Certain colors are not as common as others and the price reflects that. Now if you want to build a pikachu that is yellow instead of “bright lite orange” and use used bricks then you can build a set cheaper. I have done this myself when I don’t want the whole set and can use a cheaper color.
