Mattel is about to have one hell of a year between this, heman and dc.
Is it even still popular enough for toys? Feels like they missed the window.
>>11689349Yes and how miss the window? They didn't expect it to blow up like it did, in my opinion they got the toys as fast as they could, this was actually a replication of star wars 1977 if you think about it, because no one expected it to be such a hit and toys were released only a year later.
>>11689349Just said in the other thread but check music charts to see how popular the soundtrack still is. This is frozen level longevity
>>11689359Not that anon, but I work management at a movie theater, and when we had it, it was mostly popular with kids in the 10 to 12 age range, mostly girls, and it kinda seemed like a fad that quickly died out. To me it seems like any toy company has missed the boat.
>>11689349The other day I was at an Asian market near me and they have these big cutouts of the characters from this movie and some single dad was getting pestered by his kids to get their photos taken with the cutouts. Also there's a shitload of branded ramen and snacks with it. I'd say it still has some longevity to it even though I personally didn't care for it at all.
I want Zoey but not made by Midttel
>>11689371Don't believe it because then they waste their time, releasing a sequel in 2029 is crazy
None of you have kids so you can’t comprehend how big this shit is
>>11689387I have a child and also a niece, and no child talks about it currently.
>>11689280Didn't this movie come out, like, a year ago? Is it still relevant?>>11689387I'm not into parenting spaces and this shit was huge mid 2025.
>>11689387I'm just wanna coom to the gals
Lul
>relevanceGrammys are next month, Academy Awards are in March, and the movie is up for awards in both. Depending on the outcomes, there might also be a physical media release of the movie. It's still very much part of the public conversation. Fatigue may be setting in, but there's still enough interest to support at least one wave of toys. Movie toy lines rarely live beyond one wave anyway.
>>11689480And it already won Golden Globes for best original song and best animated film.
The figures look pretty cool. Well packed with accessories like alternate faces and hands. I assume they'll be in the 6" range. Curious what the price point will be.
>>116895486.5
>>11689553>6.5I see Mattel is doing this with their new DC line and I hate this meme so much. Choose a fucking scale! Do you want to be 6" or 7"? There's no need for inbetween bullshit that doesn't fit with either.
>>11689548Wait so Mattel does all the cool stuff and hasbro dows nerf and furby? Lol
>>11689623That was the agreement, yes.
>>11689563It’s to match marvel legends scale creep
>>11689762Why? Hasbro are competition, why scale with your competition?
>>11689779Because Mattel and Hasbro are both doing toys as a collab. There is no competition in toys anymore, everyone has to work together to survive.
Huntrx and Saja Boy 6″ figures with interchangeable faces, hands, and accessoriesAn Action Figure assortment featuring Huntr/x and the Saja Boys (whose pics weren’t available for preview) will be $21.59 each, the Rumi & Jinu 2-pack will be $43.19
>>11689280I wanna fuck the shit out of zoey
