>>11693107So the old thread got nuked because of Mattel leak? Crazy
Mattel bros keep winning
>>11693107Why did the old thread archive so fast??? What did I miss??
How about that Mattel leak????This is going to be an awesome year!!!
>>11693113Someone leaked a blurry photo of a Mattel turtle prototype
So, how come Mattel didn't announce they got the license at Nuremberg? Will they announce it at NYTF?
>>11693121They likely won’t announce it until later this yeah because playmates still has it until 2027 iirc
>>11693107>motu>dc>kpop demon hunters>tmntHoly fucking shit, Mattel might have won
Ok, does this mean the TMNT x GIJoe crossover ain't happening?
>>11693119No they didn't. You're spreading false information.
>>11693118The one that didn't happen? There was no leak.
>>11693127>>11693128Explain what happened to the gen then
>>11693126It’s already on the way
>>11693129Some trash got taken out and the easiest answer was to take out the thread.Seriously, you are so gullible. There's no evidence a leak anywhere on the net. Stop believing 4chan tards that just say things.
I personally say itSome other anon started claiming it was a Mattel prototype. The original post was just a picture with the shh emoji on it or whatever the fuck it’s called
>>11693123This
I assume the thread got nuked due to the bickering. As if that will fix the issue.
>>11693139That doesn’t even make sense
>>11693132You didn't see anything. Why even lie like that? A real leak would be ALL over Twitter and other toy sites.
>>11693142There were 50 posts in a row of necanon going back and forth with the genius who thinks he's helping by going post for post with a schizo. Then the thread disappeared. I agree it doesn't make a lot of sense.
Why didn't gijoe x tmnt leak nuke the gen but mattel leak did it? Why can't I find the mattel leak?
Its alien photo all over again...
>>11693145I don’t know about that. Toy Habits was going to cover the MOTU movie leak last night but had to change their thumbnail cause Mattel reached out to them and asked not to cover anything that has not been released. They also said they got a bunch of other amazing info that they can not share yet. I did save the pic before the thread got nuked. If it happens again, it’s been nice knowing you all except the NECA psycho troon. The Chinaman from Ramen said there were guards in front of the Mattel area and you were not getting in there with out an appointment.
>>11693159HOLY FUCKING SHITSomeone send this to r#ddit now
>>11693159Nice AI image. You're so predictable.
>>11693154Because you're being lied to. There was no leak.
>>11693162Looks real to me
>>11693168Yeah, because you're dumb. Mattel is likely getting TMNT because there's literally no other company willing to pay Ellison's BS fee, but you're a damn fool if you think that's real. There's zero talk about it anywhere.
I don’t see the Gemini or Sora mark on it like those MOTU Thundercats ones. Also if it was an ai they’d make perfectly clear. This has that tried to sneak it look to it. The old no photos leaks from Wonderfest were all like this for a while.
>>11693173Cope harder man, that isn't real.
>>11693159Well poisoning The real image was an unpainted prototype. It is common knowledge Mattel does have guards at toy fairs.
>>11693178That motherfuckers not real!!!I guess we’ll see if the thread is nuked again or it shows up on the party wagon or TNI.
>>11693159Anon no!! I hope you’re behind a vpn so Mattel doesn’t send their goons after you now, this wasn’t worth being disappeared for.
came here just to say fuck playmates, againidc if matty gets it or not, I just want some kid toys that have a fucking ankle rocker.
Mattel got turtles?
>>11693215No, zero confirmation
>>11693227That's not real numbnuts
I don't give a shit either way. Turtles of grayskull is enough to give us the gist of what Mattel TMNT will look like. Better than Playmates, worse than more expensive stuff.
I wonder if a Sesame Street crossover would be possible since NECA does both now. Would be neat since Elmo’s puppeteer Kevin Clash was also movie Splinter’s puppeteer.
>>11693260No. Not at all.
Michelangelo should of came with 2 gattling cannons
I can't not see the giant stick up his ass.
>>11693567Agreed. But metal stands in this case are necessary to hold the heft up. Luckily they are sturdy enough to not need them
>>11693159Funny how there's not a single mention of this online anywhere. Not even Twitter. Even if the image wasn't reposted, people would be talking. Fake, as, fuck.
Fwiw, Mattel is literally down the street from Playmates. They could make a very smooth transition
>>11693107didnt think it was necessary to link this in the previous thread, eh?
>>11693159looks more like 2007 movie>>11693704oh I see, nevermind.
>>11693675You think they hang out on lunch and trade toys or whatever?
>>11693716it means when playmates used the ex-mattel sculptors for TMNT, they didn't have to walk farthough.. uh, what? pretty sure playmates is in taiwan. the americans who designed the toys did so remotely.
>>11693789Right, Playmates dosent have a United States headquarters…uh what? Both their USA HQs are in El Segundo, CA. Less than 1 mile apart. You were being facetious but yes it’s literally walking distance
>>11693912that's weird
>>11693789Mark Taylor went to Playmates after MOTU. He’s probably why the early TMNT line was so fucking good.
I just hope Mattel's TMNT Origins doesn't suffer from mostly shit distribution to the point of getting hijacked by the shows and everyone else being dumped online like with MOTUO.
>>11694085Mattel has prioritized fixing retail distribution but it remains to be seen if shipping routes are disrupted. If you don’t get your toys on time this year it’s 100% trump’s fault.
>>11693618That's one of the best parts of that line, every single one has HEFT. I love the battery powered gatling spin, it's very extra
>>11694322I love the heft. All the joints are tight as well. Im looking forward to completing the team. Probably some of the best figures i have had.
>>11694521Positioning Raphael's extra arms is awkward as hell, start planning a pose in advance because it's a whole fucking thing trying to get them to look right.
>>11694527It was awkward the first time. I think I got it figured out now.
Doesn't really hinder much at all
>>11694530I just found adjusting the back pistons to the right angle for how I wanted the arm to be awkward, maybe the tolerances on mine are too tight.
>>11694076I was told it was several he-man sculptors who moved there
>>11694529>Ey I'm mecha-king-ghidorah ova heah
>>11694100>Mattel has prioritized fixing retail distributionSo if they get TMNT it won't have the godawful distribution Turtles of Grayskull got?
>>11693461>>11693618>>11694521>>11694529>>11694530What the fuck are these, they're sick.
>>11694738Heatboys TMNT mechs. astoundingly, a licensed product. Very derivative of Gundam in a good way.
>>11694657The only part of ToG that had awful distribution were the retailer exclusives. Mainly the Walmart ones. The Target ones didn't have perfect distribution, but it was a million times better than Walmart. I'm still waiting for the container full of Merman that never made it to stores to start showing up at Ross or Ollie's.
>>11694816Maybe for you. The exclusives were the only things I ever saw, aside from that one wave with Mikey and Teela that would just not go away. But I too really want that Merman.
>>11694881i'd buy him if he were slightly scaled up to fit super7 guys.. i'm kinda tempted anyway.
>>11694549Possibly, but thats a good thing.>>11694617KekEven with everything on his back, Raph will not budge. My only nitpick is no storage for the longer pole.
If Mattel does get the license, would TMNT Origins use original designs akin to stuff like Fortnite, Joytoy and Magic or be based mostly on vintage Playmates synergy despite Mattel not owning the original designs?
>>11693173>>11693178What happen to that fake Joe crossover anyway?
>>11695324It was real, and shown off back in September of 2025 before Playmates got the news they weren't keeping the license. So it's veeeeery likely those won't even happen. Or if they do, you'll just get the one wave and none of the concept art figures in the image.
I guess if you like Legos...
>>11695421So we get a world of tmnt theme? Will mattel (or whoever gets the license but for real it will be mattel) use this branding for their toys? World of TMNT? Is this like all TMNT versions in one?
>>11695442The name does reek of corporate retardation speak, so that could be.
>>11695442Playmates already is.
>>11695421It's like a funko pop but somehow worse.
>>11695321I mean, movie-tv synergy is great.. just.. yknow, these are bad. It's like how Red Sky tried to tie in better with the movies, even adapting part of the intended plot for movie 4, but they failed to actually .. be good.
>>11695421huh, whose colors are these? the recent one? looks a little like 2k3 but with the saturation rammed up.
>>11696144Probably better asked in the neca thread. I own both of these. Demonsa top is not removable. And Elvira is pretty basic of a body. It doesn't look that great unclothed
>>11696144I don't think you can say 'neca figures' are a particular size. they have a bunch of different lines, even within TMNT the movie line is not in scale with the cartoon line. I mean look at this, you've posted these two and they sure don't match, assuming you posted them to scale with each other.I can tell you Demona-chan is about 7.5 inches tall on her big ol dino legs, and while her top is not an INTENTIONALLY removable piece, I do believe it's a separate piece glued onto the 'buck' as they say. quite possibly removable with a lot of work put in.
>>11696147ah piss, sorry
btw if anyone DOES know good bare-type lady figures that could possibly be customized into a proper super7 Ninja Newscaster April? I loved that figure as a kid, it was neat seeing the usually meek April actually look like she could kick some ass. and I liked that 2k3 kinda had fun with that too one time.I'm looking at maybe Super7 Thundercats ones, they have some girls that seem in scale and their clothes look decently removable/alterable
>>11696165Maybe get a MOTU Origins figure.
>>11696198are those that size? and did they have any suitable female characters?
>>11695421They use the 80s Turtles art, but don't seem to match the colors of the 80s toyline. Let's see what Lego's Pick A Brick has. I think they have Leo using Dark Green and Raph using Light Green, but maybe he should had gotten the Light Yellowish Green instead for better contrast. Mikey got the Bright Bluish Green which is kinda close, though reminds me more of Slash. Not sure why Donnie isn't Olive Green, other than it being a less produced color based on that number.
>>11696236are we sure this isn't rogenturtles colors? or maybe Rise?>olivehe's only been olive in 2k3.. in the old toyline he was shit brown. that, combined with his mask being indigo rather than violet (leaving leo with that beautiful bright sky blue) gave him a super unique look that I've always loved.promise you any TMNT product I got to do, unless it was trying to be like the movies, I'd use the old toy colors.
>>11696252If that's considered shit brown, then I think you need to see a doctor. Olive Green is what Lego calls the color. But looking at the actual Olive Green color it's much brighter and greener.https://brickset.com/colours/family-GreenDonnie is really hard to match in Lego colors. Looking at browns I found one... Brown. Unfortunately it's been discontinued since 2007. So maybe Medium Brown would be closer to that.https://brickset.com/colours/family-Orange-brownhttps://brickset.com/colours/family-Brown
>>11696329this figure has yellowed over time. you can see how the soft head is a slightly different hue, and his left side is also less greenified than his right.Look earlier in this thread and you'll see playmates' remade one where he is downright CHOCOLATE brown, because they fucked up the red-balance (same reason their raph is such pale, jade green)Super7 nailed it. he's brown, but not quite chocolate brown. The hint of bilrubin tints it slightly green, making it shit brown. and it looks good on him. very turtly while still being way different from his brothers
>>11696392leonardo on the other hand is what I would call olive green. that is, the color of green olives. I realize there's about a thousand varieties and ways of treating olives, so it's possible I have this terminology slightly off. after all, people say 'olive-skinned' when they sure as fuck don't mean you're green. but i think 'olive' on its own is different from 'olive green'in any case anon, olive you.
>>11696392>>11696394I appreciate someone who can speak to colouration well, thanks anon.
2 more weeks until we get an official announcement that Mattel has turtles now
>>11696165I forgot they did 'wild woman April'.
>>11696647I signed the petition to block this buy out. Mattel can't have the monopoly on hero humanoid animals.
>>11696165The 1/12 Red Sonja from bossfight maybe?
>>11696893So you want Jakks Pacific to have it instead?
>>11696624my parents always got me the 96 big box of crayons
>>11696948S7s are between 1:9 and 1:10 scale
>>11695326>>11695345>anon never implied they were fake>t-they were real but they just aren't coming out now this is just pathetic anymore
>>11697071>anon never implied they were fake>>11695326
>>11696959Kenner!
>>11695421Lego-tards will buy every single last one of these, just because the word Lego is stamped on the box, and pay any price tag you put on it. lol
>>11697102I mean... one could say the same thing about tmnt fans. I have seen no shortage of dubious TMNT products lo these past few decades.
I'm in the US, where's a good place to buy this guy from? Was thinking Ali Express but maybe there's somewhere better.
>>11694739>Very derivative of Gundam in a good way. This one is like Shenlong/Altron Gundam
>>11697171I bought all of my joytoy stuff from Gundamnit, they’re reliable and cheap
>>11697070Super 7 Nayda maybe
>>11697180I'm a little annoyed the repaints come with extra accessories, I wish these dragon heads and some of the samurai gear on the Leo would be sold as accessory kits in their first wave colour schemes
>>11697088>Kenner!be still my heart. That would be wonderful. I miss them.
>>11697180huh i didn't know they did three raphaels.i guess the football helmet shit didn't really jive with people>>11697240yeah that might be my best bet. Maybe I'll get their 'ninja april' on ultr aclearance and see how compatible the heads are.. because i actually have this already. I just thought she'd fit in with them, and she does! but I could get another.
>>11697171Nerdzoic is one of the better places, trustworthy too.
>>11697240Before I enlarged, I thought it was a custom wild girl Irma.
>>11697382shit, that is ALSO a fun ideabut i have to think she'd botch it up and constantly trip, and her loincloth would keep coming apart and she'd just have to stop and retie it..
>>11697411>Weren't you wearing a white loincloth before?>Yeah, I'm going au natural now.>Donnie's fw
>>11697502ohhh I get it, you're saying her clambeard is so voluminous that it looks like she changed to a different color loincloth than previous.yes this is.. almost for certain.
>>11693952At least until SonicTurtles fails and they're forced to go back to the drawing board yet again since they are incapable of figuring out what made TMNT so popular in the first place.
>already bought single release Scale TailFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFhttps://toyhypeusa.com/2026/02/02/playmates-toys-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-classic-mutants-box-set-anthrax-scale-tail-wyrm-usagi-yojimbo-figures-review/
Triceraton Shock Trooper is on the NECA store for preorder. No first to ship or exclusivity though.I always need more triceratons in my life.
>>11697971This is why I hope Mattel gets the license. I hope they get it so the bigger characters will be big and bulky.
If Mattel gets the license decides to pull a Sun-Man in TMNT Origins, would the Street Sharks/Extreme Dinosaurs have to be heavily modified to fit in a vintage Playmates-style with a bunch of accessories?
>>11699246from context, I take that to mean 'what if a guest star from a different franchise comes into this toyline'
>>11699246I'm 50/50 on that. The Sharks and the Dinosaurs are like, the size of the bigger mutants in TMNT like Leatherhead and like, 2012 Slash.
>>11699402thank you! they'd be huge.
did they ended the live action TMNT 1/4 scale?
>>11699669yeah around 2020
still... still waitin on my movie 2 splinter.. someday..
>>11697717Speaking of SonicTurtles. surprised we still haven't gotten a Sonic/Ninja Turtles crossover yet.Especially given that would give Jakks an excuse to do TMNT figures.
>>11699819I SWEAR they did a crossover before in the Archie comics...
>>11700106Heres your crossover. One panel from Sonic #10.
>>11700133No I swear they teamed up somewhere... Maybe I'm just mixing their crossovers with Archie himself.
>>11700198Or your pornograpbic fanfiction.
>>11700200You need help. You shouldn't think about porn with Sonic and the TMNT, it's not healthy.
>>11700198Technically Sonic only met Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
>>11700229Actually it's completely healthy, and judging by the amount of porn of both, you're in the minority.
>>11700510anon, while you are correct on the first point, I would not use the ... examples ... as a support for that point.if anything, your urge should be for people to make GOOD porn of it, to drown out the rest. not that that's numerically possible, but..
Got 2003 splinter, all of his joints have light ratchets, wasn't expecting that out of a S7 toy. First figure I've gotten from them that doesn't feel like complete shit to pose, actually feels a lot better than most other domestic toys in that department, much smoother. But the S7 jank touch is still there with the thin soft plastic and the worryingly small hand pegs. Its too bad they didn't start trying this hard 5 years ago because this is the closest thing to a good toy I've ever gotten out of them and its probably one of the last ultimates they'll ever do. Can recommend it if you see him at clearance prices. $25-30 seems fair.
>>11701224the way 4kids drew his face always slightly ruins him for me, he was so close to being the second best splinter design. Also the toes, they drew the toes weird.
>>11700293That's most likely it, or I'm thinking of the Archie cover that had the Turtles and Sonic at his block party.
>>11699692all I need is shredder but I cannot find one :(entertainment earth is still taking backorders but no shredder
>Even if we do get a TMNT/Sonic collab we won't get EU character duos IE Bebop/Scratch, Rocksteady/Grounder, Baxter/Snively, or Mona/Sally.
loks like stan folded or playmates offered enough cash. panda khan need s to be next.
>>11702502...Usagi's a mutant?
>>11702502>Classic Mutants 4-pack>One mutant>Two aliens and a Japanese guy from the furry dimension One fucking job.
>>11702566>One fucking job.Playmates excels at fucking up those one jobs
>>11702502oh humina humina..come on super7, COME BACK TO US.I will tolerate joint issues, I just need this usagi to fit my other guys.>>11702545>>11702566when i was a kid and my mom was taking a pottery class, she rolled out a flat piece of clay and etched like, perfect lineart drawings of my favorite TMNT figures into it, and called it "Anon's mutants" and i was so blown away I didn't wanna correct her that some of them aren't mutants.I was just... how the fuck was my mom such a good 2d artist while literally never drawing, ever?
>>11702502Lame, I wanted the Chrome Dome from that wave instead of the gay rabbit.
>>11702870>come on super7, COME BACK TO US.Super7's done with Turtles, they aren't coming back to any of this.
>>11702894but they can now! playmates has been slain!
Will TMNT Origins use vintage Playmates synergy or original designs? Though the original designs could be used for "Turtleverse" with interchangeable pieces to make "default" versions of the characters a la New Eternia.
Finally got these
>>11704132uhhthis is not ringing even a single bell. have these ever been posted in here before? how is it that they are licensed but look like 3P?
>>11704154They're just variants of the linj juanwhateverthefuck turtles. They WERE exclusives but they're apparently re-releasing them for everyone soon. Hope that guy didn't pay much for them...
>>11704168howmst the fuck are those licensed
>>11704189Same way the JoyToy stuff is I'm guessing. "It's all the way the fuck over there, so it's fine"Can't be sold here (technically), doesn't clash with stateside merch, etc.
>>11704195wait whatwhy would you bother paying for a license if you weren't selling it stateside
>>11704210retail is dead, anyone really into toys is aware of how to buy shit from overseas, im surprised this isn't more common if anything
>>11704235but nobody else is paying for the license, so why would they
>>11704239its genuinely not that easy to get away with even in china, its why you see most unlicensed lines just release a few things then break up/go into hiding under another name, only some outliers like transformers seem to get away with it long term
>>11704243you literally just described what makes it easyit's the 'change your IP and ban evade' of commercial goods. I bought a tablet under one chinese name, a compatible replacement pen under the next name, then the next....
>>11704257again, thats fine if you want to release one thing and dipif you want to release an entire line like joytoy for example, they lose recognition and repeat customers because its never clear if its the same studio
>>11702893Been seeing that and scale tail popping up at Walmarts now. Might best to check MACYs toysrus corner too. It's where I found the last wave of retros and 2003 turtles.
>>11701845Here's a thought, roboticizing Shredder's henchmen and basing them off of corresponding Badniks.>Ball Hog Bebop>Rhinobot Rocksteady>Buzz Bomber Stockmanand however far they wanna take it where it makes sense. Dunno how likely they'll bring Scumbug back just to turn him into a Motobug or turn Traag into... I don't know, the Sandopolis Guardian?
>>11705702huh, that does work.God i"m so glad I got new versions of those robots from S7. i'm very tempted to get another robot rocksteady and paint clear red over the silver to replicate his later reissue.

Hasbro is so fucked come 2027 lmao
>>11706405>>11706411>>11706518nobody should have a master license.
>>11706584It literally doesn’t matter what you think about a master license. Your feelings won’t change the fact that they exist. What a low quality useless post.
>>11706579Literally none.
>>11706552SOMEONE POST THE SCREENSHOT OF ANON ASSAULTING HIS SISTER WITH RIPSTER
Imagine Cartoon Collection for Turtles
>>11706584NECA is the only company I would be okay with holding the master license since they actually care and respect the property.
>>11706611Unpainted barely on model $22 figurew with barely any accessories?
They have all those sculpts from the Turtles of Grayskull already. Should be fast to get some parts going.
>>11706611playmates designs appropriately scaled with good articulation
>>11706626Not quite
>>11706617According to someone in this very topic, they have bad QC issues, they break out of the package, and the play set/display sets warp with little to no warning.
>>11706611Imagine first ones tmnt
>>11706689Except all of those are very much false. You shouldn’t believe everything people say.
FUCK YEAH, TMNT AND MUSCLE MUTT CROSSOVER
>>11706705i always forget about these guys
>>11706709They're the bootlegs of a spinoff of a bootleg series. VERY easily missed. But, Mattel does have the most 'anthro-guys/teams' now.
Does this mean the Street Sharks crossover is happening now?
>>11706718Probably. Get ready for Shark-turtle hybrids
>>11706420>playmates loses the master tmnt license>playmates retaint some tmnt license since every toy company on earth has it>restricted to only vintage style figures and vehicles>restricted to online retailers and the collector section in retailit's my prediction. playmates will continue rehashing the 80s-90s figs to stay in the game.
>>11706718Not at all. Street Sharks doesn't sell. You'll see DC and maybe MOTU before they ever go back to SS.
>>11706689Sounds like you're an uneducated peon.
>>11706724This is a win win for everyone
>>11706732I’m uneducated? You can’t even spell person right you fucking idiot.
>>11706729They confirmed the next wave of Street Sharks though?
>>11706724Primus I hope so.
>>11706729>Street Sharks doesn't sellThey sold out. Mattel had no idea the demand was so high. They shelved production of wave 2 because they knew it would be too small. They have put together a brand new plan for this year regarding street sharks.
>>11706617AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>11706740Nothing said there was wrong.
>>11706735>You can’t even spell person right you fucking idiot.>can't spell person right>personOh my God, you...oh wow. You...oh I hope you're joking. I hope. Your parents should've bought you a dictionary apparently.
>>11706724>it's my prediction. And it's wrong. Blake from Toycollectr already confirmed Playmates is 100% out of TMNT. No vintage for you.
>>11706724as long as super7 can resumeor someone else resumes for them. I don't need it to be any particular brand, just keep the scale.

Guys, make sure to sign my petition to make sure the Street Sharks and Ninja Turtles NEVER crossover.
>>11706760A garbage man
>The SS and ED guest star in TMNT Origins a la Sun Man>Some of them are released in certain waves alongside other characters IE Ripster in the wave with Ray Fillet, T-Bone in the wave with a Triceraton, etc.
>>11706718I don't know if Mattel would consider making two packs of Turtles with Turtles bootleg figures so soon after Playmates did it.
The only thing worth giving a shit about Mattel getting the license is Ninja Turtles Origins, Turtleverse, and the Street Sharks/Extreme Dinosaurs crossovers
>>11706890>and the Street Sharks/Extreme Dinosaurs crossoversWhich aren't happening
>>11706891Sign your petition yet? Snrk.
>>11706801very nice, anonnow which way to my attractive cousin?
>>11706890Yeah this confirms the Sharks are gonna be Usagi of 2027.
>>11706890>TurtleverseYou mean turtleicles
>>11706582Why?
>>11706908It confirms nothing of the sort.
>>11706908Pretty much. Sharks are gonna show up to fight Armagon.
>>11706923No they aren't
>>11706923i think in a crossover, it's more likely they'll bust out armaggon as a new creation, possibly one combining gene-slamming and mutagen, which both the turtles and sharks have to fight
>>11706959And the Extreme Dinosaurs will obviously, show up to fight the Triceratons.
>>11706961they gotta save that for the sequel
>>11706967And then part three, Claw, Scratch, and Copycat team up with Scratch, and Ol Hobb, so the Turtles have to team up with the Muscle Muttz.
So does S7 still have the TMNT license?
>>11707109the 'master license' never stopped anyone else from making TMNT figswhat it did is it gave that company leverage to tell viacom to screw over other companies if they started stepping on the master licensee's toes (or if they smoked too much opium and just THOUGHT that was happening, despite any sensible person realizing they are not in competition)
Would really have preferred a Baxter Stockman by now...
>>11707248
>>11707251
>>11707253
>>11707166>what it did is it gave that company leverage to tell viacom to screw over other companiesThis is exactly the point. Playmates played ball, Mattel could choose not to. Same reason you don't see anyone else making Star Wars or Marvel in a similar format to Hasbro, and with Diamond Select gone, not even action figures of any size (domestically).
>>11707335I don’t think Mattel will do that
>>11707248Baxter is basically the only essential character they haven’t done… but it feels like they mostly pick releases based on whether or not they can reuse them to make another character. These two share a lot of parts.
>>11707499Will it be the black Baxter or the white one? And will he be a fly-man or some asshole with a robot?
>>11707499I'm sure they could design Baxter in a way that he shares parts with Scumbug.
Super7 announcing that they are not out of the game! They're making o-ring style Turtles that are compatible with vintage G.I. Joes. These appear to be from the image based on the 87 cartoon, since Raph has pupils.
>>11707734>O-RingsSo they are out of the game.
Only TMNT I will ever recognize as true is 2012Make toys based on that

>>11707839O-ring Raph
O-ring Don
Is super7 good? These o rings have my interest, prices?
O-ring Foot Soldier
>>11707872Pricey, like $20-$25The O-rings have been a surprise hit, primarily because it's the only figures they manage some how to put out fast. Joes regularly sell out at Target, and keep getting re-stocked so fast that new figures that haven't even been announced keep showing up on pegs. The recent Joe wave already has in hand photos before Super7 could reveal them at Toyfair.
>>11707833>believing renders>Super7 renders at that
>o-ring>look like shitImagine my surprise
>>11707734Mattel doesn't take over until 2027, so nothing super7 is showing now has any bearing on their future with TMNT.
>>11707888Does this mean we still get new playmates figures this year?
>>11707877Their Wilykit was just as good as her render
>>11707877As opposed to what?
>>11707892Nooo it was not
>>11707890To at least some extent. When Bandai lost Power Rangers to Hasbro they basically gave up. Their final year's product offerings were very sparse compared to prior ones. I wouldn't be surprised if Playmates follows suit. Any new molds wouldn't ever be usable again, and we know how much Playmates loves to reuse molds, so I expect to see mostly reissues from them in 2026.
>>11706420But enough about (you).
>>11707898So good, they had reissue her.
>>11707874>>11707870>>11707868I see they fired all their competent artists too.
>>11707909Wow, you're so butthurt you were wrong you've decided to come back so we can laugh at you some more?

>>11708053
>>11708048I see you've never watched 2012 before
>>11707857Mattel hired the lead designer of the Super7 2003 turtles.
>>11708062Which doesn't mean jack shit
>>11708063>mental illness
>>11708068Yeah, you should do something about it
>>11708059They should've aimed for the Revoltech versions face sculpts instead.
>>11708085Why? Those aren't accurate to the show.
Anyone else prefer the Ninja Turtles/Street Sharks crossover to be a separate line instead of shoehorning them into a vintage Playmates-inspired line?At least Sun Man and his friends were literally just MOTU repaints for those wanting more diversity.
>>11708098What are you even talking about? That shit isn't even happening
>>11708049ohhh okay.
>>11708101You're joking right? No way in hell will Mattel not take advantage of having their own in-house animal hero teams after getting the TMNT license.
>>11708111They actually want to make money, dipshit. They're not going to waste resources doing that.
>>11708098>>11708111IDW instantly put Street Sharks and Ninja Turtles together for a crossover. Mattel is probably going to provide the toyline. Just ignore this guy here.>>11708115
>>11708300Except that they aren't. The only crossover they'll do, outside of MAYBE more He-Man, is DC. Because that makes money and sells.
>>11708300Yeah, don't know why this guy has a hate boner for Street Sharks. But it's gonna happen.
>>11708304You should see the thread wide meltdown the dude had over NECA making an Elmo figure.
Street Sharks do make money. That's why Mattel's doing more waves of them. Even redoing the variants like Super Slammu, Hockey Streex, Roadster Jab and Armored Ripster. Plus Roxx and Moby Lick.
let's be honest, besides a marvel crossover, street sharks make the most sense.
>>11708317They don't, not enough to tool new figures with their actual money making IP.
>>11708328But they ARE making new figures?
what better way to get people to notice street sharks more? a crossover with the turtles of course!
>>11708332No, because that's putting good money after a bad property.
>>11708336.... muscle muttz?
Is Joytoy Zorax as tall as Krang's suit? Worried he may not fit my drawer standing up.
>>11708370Oh no, Krang is much taller
>>11708317I hope we get Clammando this time. And some new characters would be nice.
>>11708418Well, sorry to say, that won't be happening
>>11708418We got him in the Mattel lab. And we're gonna get him in the TMNT/SS crossover. Don't trust this guy, he doesn't work for Mattel.>>11708420
>>11708422Cool. Ya know what Street Sharks needs? Their own Slash. An evil shark thats bigger and more savage.
>>11708428They had the Mecha-Sharks and Cyber-Sharks.
>>11708428I could have sworn they did have that. Not sure if it got a toy, but wasn't there like one last gene-slammed abomination that was just one big monstery shark?>>11708430Ohh that was it, yeah. Mecho-shark
>>11708431How the fuck did this thing fool people into thinking it was Ripster?>In the cartoon, it's mask covered LESS>It was vibrant yellow>IT HAS A FUCKING CHAINSAW HAND
>>11708430>>11708431Yeah, but like...a gene slammed one. Although Mecha Shark is awesome. Hope they redo him too.
>>11708432it was the style at the time
>>11708436yeah my memory was bad and I thought that was what it was. I just remembered the big shark face, I forgot it was just a mask on a robot.memories are weird like that. what I retained of Thundercats as a very young kid was VERY strange before I found out about the show again.
>>11708422You're not getting shit, cause there's not going to be a crossover.
>>11708428>Their own Slash. They did have their own character named Slash.Badum tsss.
why is one poster so determined to be right about a crossover that's been in the making since 1993?
>>11708448which was weird because, while he was a swordfish, he did not have a slashing weapon, since his sword nose was turned into a drillit's one of those things like 'Streex sometimes being "Blades." ' that shows you how hastily and carelessly this franchise was thrown together to grab what was left of the turtle audience.
>>11708452Not like they had much to grab. Movie 3 bombed, the Fred Wolfcartoon was ending, and there wouldn't be any turtle stuff until Saban's Next Mutation. The Sharks showed up at the perfect time.
>>11708453hence 'what was left of' yeah. they knew they didn't have time to polish this because the turtle ship was sinking. they just wanted some flotsam.
>>11708488Yeah but they didn't expect for the Sharks to outsell Star Wars and Power Rangers their first year.
>>11708490I meanwas outselling star wars in 1994 really that special?>power rangersyeah it wasn't as good by '94 but it was doing okay, that is kind of a surprise. now, outselling PR in '96 or '97, that I could see easily. but you say their first year? very impressive, Mattel.I know I loved em. They were so bulky, so cool, so muscly. i didn't care that the legs couldn't move, I was stoked the jaws could.
>>11708490>>11708492Outselling Power Rangers was quite the feat in 94. But there was fuck all Star Wars on the shelves apart from bend 'ems and Micro Machines. When PotF2 was released in 1995 was when the second Star Wars renaissance would truly begin.
Will the TMNT Origins waves be two turtles in the first two waves or all four in the first?
>>11708450Because it's...not in the making? What is wrong with you?
