It's just my opinion that some of or all of the top level dark grey pieces should be swapped to give the falcon a cleaner more uniform look. I know they kinda did it to add texture and variation to the build but if you look at basically all other falcons, including the smaller display model or the UCS and older models, they all have more uniform grey designs. You DONT have to swap them, but for me its on my to do list. Kinda like me swapping all storm troopers and snow trooper and scout heads to solid black or solid white. It just looks better.

>>11697687Yes, the thin middle section especially, but the window parts here and the wider box have been used in more sets, most notably slave 1 and alpha team and the 2002 republic gunship, funny enough the doors on it are only in one set in that color (and only a single one too), same with this piece in red. Most common combo is dark gray with trans brown windows that was used in the 3 system builds. Personally on my copy here the doors feel a bit loose closing, not very pleasant but still wanna use them as a container in a moc
