Not that anyone cares, but I >>11673292 saw that the Avatar figs came back in stock on Mcfarlane's site a couple of weeks ago, so I impulse ended up getting four of them and they arrived the other day. Kind of stupid that ordering them from America, direct from the official company was much cheaper than buying them here. I haven't opened them yet though, I feel a little daft about it, but they do actually look really nice in person. I can see a little paint chip on Neytiri's tummy however, so I assume that's an issue you have to be careful about. Anyway, your blessing >>11697626

The main gang, went for the matching ash version of Quaritch, I might see about getting an ikran someday if I see a discounted one. Sorry for the boring boxed photo, like I said, once my shame at buying them dissipates a bit I'll do some posing and try and take some cool stuff for the thread maybe. I really like the faces in particular, they are nicely done.

I had an influx of figures all in quick succession, so I'm trying to enjoy them a bit before opening another. Got figma A2 and SHF Cyclops at the same time, so been having fun with them. My Cyke has a busted elbow joint, hoping they can send me a replacement arm, but we'll see.

Also, a funny thing. Due to his height compared to other DB SHFs, he's one of the closest things I own to a 1/18th scale average human figure. Which means he's actually decently to scale with my dinos.

Got a few new parts printed. Scaled down the entire thing by 10%. I think the previous one was just a bit to big. Made the barrel articulation. It locks in 3 positions: idle, full recoil and ready to shot.
Now I'm gonna slowly work on the shell ejection system. It won't actually eject shells on its own, but will allow to pose it that way.
I just love to see things come to life from a computer screen. Should have bought a 3D printer way earlier, it's so much fun. Can't wait to get a resin one.

Mechanically? Incredibly good. Joints are all perfect, moves good, and has very good articulation.
Aesthetically? What you've seen in the videos is true. Plastic on the skin tones is hideous, looks super shiny, and the miscolored neck and shoulders is very noticeable. Incredibly overpriced for what we got, but i'm a big shallot fan so i had to have him.
>>11699576
Incredible. If someone put it in front of me and didn't tell me it was a KO i wouldn't be able to tell. My copy had some minor paint scuffs, but the joints all feel good. Well the shoulders are a tiny bit stiff but i feel as though that'll fix itself the more i move him around. Nothings loose on him, everything fits well, and he comes with a bunch of accessories and even the Blade of the Archfiend that was a store exclusive. For like 35 bucks i'm very surprised at how good it is. Probably gonna order a black one too. MIND YOU, I didn't purchase the original Revoltech Ryu Hayabusa so i'm not sure how it compares to that. But i heard that there was an issue with the hands falling out easily on it. That isn't the case with this one, so i guess thats an improvement.
>>
>>11699583
Nice. I actually don't have the original either, but I'm looking forward to this guy.

I got most of them. Even did the online instructions for G2 Makuta. Damn shame we never got that as an official kit, or the MoUP
Still hurts, honestly, how quickly G2 died. Like, it definitely wasn't living up to G1, but I think that's mostly because it horribly failed to understand its own demographic. The narrative was too kiddified, while the figures felt like they were trying too hard to pander to G1 fans without fully committing to G1 complexity since it was still mostly locked on on CCBS.
So many cool elements that were teased that we never really got to learn about either. The supposed direct connection to G1, the top half of the mask of time
It's a shame.

Guys I got a problem with my newest order from Gundamit, wonder if you had same experience before.

I placed an order, paid via Google Pay and... nothing. My card got charged, but there is no confirmation email, no GD points. In the order list it's status is "Full Payment Received waiting for shipping", that's good. But when I click on it, in status history there is no payment, but I can't make a new one. Shop's site had to have some sort of hiccup. I sent a message to support, but I wonder if you had such problem before, and how it was resolved.

I decided to skip this guy, because I am hoping they do a classic alien at some point like they are with the upcoming Predator they have teased, but the other day I did pre-order the Yoshi pred. I was on the fence but the accessories look nice. How does it generally feel/the paint quality etc. ?
>>
>>
>>11712980
Paint on the body is great, can see all the details, also has this gloss that works for the alien, the head is good with the see trough dome, the only thing that bugs me a little is the silver pa8nt on the toes its a bit messy, but that just nitpicking if I didn't focus on little details I wouldn't notice. Overall a great figure, articulation is great, so far the best alien figure articulation wise that I own, I don't have any newer Neca ones, but I have a lot of the older ones and the Mezco and while they look good, the crouch ab crunch portion of the figures usually leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. This one seems pretty good on that aspect.

He's got some extra joints for connecting his feet to the bottom of the garbage can. If you pop those off, you can slide then into his arms for free ball joints. It's VERY loose, but it gets the job done for a picture

Funny thing is that I briefly thought that the Allo looked a bit big by comparison, but no, after measuring it out with the objective measurement of "just lay the smaller figure over the other one and count how many times I have to move it", even if I assume that the centurion is meant to be 5-foot-nothing, that would make the Allo just under 30 feet by comparison, which is the rough scale of the animal. And I always thought Allo would be smaller by comparison.

Some notes having this one:
Some parts do not stay together well. The ball joint between the abdomen and the upper chest is not very solid and pops off all the time, That and the head-crest piece really hate to stay in. Everything else holds together pretty alright
Not advertised but all of the armor pieces are removable, at least on this one. There's a plain, blane body underneath with musculature, actually pretty good for me because that just means I got a bonus art model figure.
I really don't like how the upper elbow joints are, they look really, really frail and I'm horrified that they're just going to break off at any moment
Hands are kind of loose, grip-wise. Not terrible but not perfect
But they're also pretty cheap so that's a plus. Probably going to order another when my next paycheck rolls in.
>>
>>11721707
I have the Daima mini Goku. I'd say he's a lot worse than the mini Vegeta. Honestly, he's kind of just a worse version of the GT Goku. Not terrible, but definitely a noticeable downgrade.
I've heard mini Piccolo is the best one, but I don't have one of him so I don't have a good frame of reference
>>
>>11721709
Ah I see, how much are they and what are they call?
>>11721712
I think I was in the dragonball thread or shf and an annon pointed out the mini piccolo, piccolo being one of my favorites I bought it and the annon was dead on, its a great figure he said the Mini Vegeta was probably 2nd to that mini piccolo so when I saw it go on sale I bought it. Yeah I don't know about the Goku and the GT Goku, if those go on sale I might pick them up. Only thing is if I get GT Goku I feel like I need Pan and Trunks.
>>
>>11721751
>Ah I see, how much are they and what are they call?
I got mine on Amazon and it was only like 25 bucks. Though, it looks kind of like the prices on the others have gone up on some of them. The price ranges from 20-35 on the rest of them
They're the ones from Joytoy, there's 2 sets of them, the Roman Republic, which is the one mine comes from, from, and the Roman Gladiators, the latter being the generally cheaper ones. Not much difference between the two sets aside from the armor and weapon variation based on pictures.

These guys are all pretty fun, snakes kinda outdated and im not a fan of the face sculpt. AC Toys Ryu got a good amount of QC issues, Messtoys Black spiderman is pretty good and definitely the best spiderman that i own, Toji is damn near perfect, wish he had a better ab crunch and a matte coat though. Also wish he had a trigger finger hand and a pistol. Storm is a marvel legend but its the only storm figure i could really get. Wish her cape was wired.

>Looks cool, I know nothing about dinos once they have feathers.
This lad is Achillobator
He's the second larges dromaeosaur (raptor) that has ever been discovered. Teeeechnically third but Dakotaraptor was chimeric so it's kind of iffy how big that was based on what fossil material we can confirm. This one is technically upsized a bit since it shares a lot of its parts with their Utahraptor figure, since the real animal is about 16-18 feet long. Which is only slightly smaller than Utahraptor, that actual biggest raptor. Which was 20 feet long and weighed as much as a goddamned polar bear. Which means both of these guys are significantly bigger than the canon size of the JP raptors.
For comparison with the dinos shown here:
>Big guy in the back:
Allosaurus. The Lion of the Jurassic. Roughly 30 feet long
Small guy in the front: Eotyrannus. Early T-rex relative. Around 13-14ish feet long
Horn-boi: Centrosaurus (juvenile). Famous for getting its shit kicked in by a Gorgosaurus (later T-rex relative) in a stop motion film called Prehistoric Beast. Around 16-ish feet long.
