I scanned the pages of Figure-Oh magazine with their feature on the Mugenbine line of toys. They left out the last series of DX toys and the candy line but the art is pretty nice. >>11702008https://x.com/30mfantasy/status/2019697617522045190One for Fantasy too. This is apparently NOT part of the Samurai Troopers collab, so I guess we're getting Liber/Rosan Samurai as part of the main line.
>>11702017I've been expecting a samurai and ninja out of the line for a little while, since they've done most of the vanilla RPG classes by now. As time goes on, realistically I guess they'll have to find more exotic warriors or shift more heavily to various monsters.Since Dragonia Knight is a thing, maybe we'll see beastmen and other demihumans as bases.
>>11702017I figures 30MF was going to be a very “RPG-centric” sort of line, though they sort of screwed up making a legitimate fighter/monk with the robot designs. We’ll have to wait and see. When is Bandai having their next 30ML stream?

>>11703324>>11703433The RoboForce lion set is probably my most anticipated release this year, it’s just perfect. I really hope they stick with a tried-and-true super robot color scheme (white/gold lion, red/black vehicle armor)

>>11703433I've mentioned before that I really love their tendency to just straight up take gimmicks from competing toy lines, and making soft-KOs. They still keep their cube gimmick. But this new set is like their version of Frame Arms and other lines that use a base armature. They have Roboforce that is just straight up a 3rd party Transformer combiner. They have their inchman compatible combiners like AMTS and >>11703308 which are like their own 3rd party Diaclone. They are just on top of their shit, and they're not missing a trick
Vermilion is still looking good. BeastBox has some of the most anatomically accurate bird articulation out there.
>>11703630>They have Roboforce that is just straight up a 3rd party Transformer combinerI respectfully request you quit talking out of your ass, retard. Super Robot Combiners existed long before TF.
>>11703761I don’t think many people know about the chodenji trilogy to be fair
>>11703897Sentai and Volton also predate TF. The comparison irks me because it's slandering. >>11703761>>11704087Kek. I still own at least 7 or 8 fully complete megazords from when I was a kid, including the original boxes. The full sized versions that are all atleast a foot tall... Trust me, I understand this shit isnt comparable. I'm just comparing it to shit that is currently on the market from 1st parties. not some 3rd party paying a licensing fee to remake the same cod damn robot for the 12th time, "but this time it has articulated fingers so pay us for it again. No, these are TF combiner competitors at best.

I love cute 30mm mechs, glad they're still making them. I guess stuff like the armored assault olive and the Roundnova have sold well.
I love toys
>>11705878Certainly adorable, the Roy Roy is too cute to deny.Mixed feelings. The new 30MM mech Xenovalt is doing some odd stuff with molding, and while the design is striking I’m going to wait and see. It’s a bit annoying that Bandai seems to side-step the obvious progression of Skeletons to Pirates in 30MF and instead made a Maxion Pirate set (which seems to be the proving ground for a lot of their eventual 30MF releases), but the base monk design is cool enough to be forgiven.I’m not in love with the first picks from Daemon Ex Machina, though I understand that Bahamut is the game’s mascot mech. The Unspeakable is certain a choice, and the frustrating thing is that both kits are coming with a selection of my favorite weapons, so I’ll have to get both. The premium pricing is a bit rough, but I’m going to support the line in the hopes that they make a few more sets in the future (maybe a light and heavy armor).

Oh shit we're getting a new modular Batmobile in the Mattel kids line. I think I see 5mm pegs. It says it can reconfigure with the Batlink system so I'm assuming they'll do more vehicles that can mix and match. Probably not worth adding to the OP though.
>>11706683>>11706685The whole "empty circle" thing made me think of whether or not we could get 3D stickers for the classic emblems to fit over said spots. The new Samurai Troopers alone might not have them, but with how we got like modern redraws of the originals for the new show, the classic armors could get the missing crests that can be placed on the new armors.

Got these two today, and as someone who's a very casual model kit collector whose main experience with model kits in general is HMM Zoids and building some Gundam kits for a friend who sucks at building them, I had a question about the lad on the right for anyone more familiar with the lineAt risk of sounding retarded, how are you supposed to get the weapon/tool bits in the hands? The grip-hands are single-pieces, so there doesn't seem to be a "build hand around the handle/ball-joint-thumb" like some gunpla I've built in the past. Like, the saw piece makes sense, it's just a stick, stick go in hole, obvious, but for the rest of the tools, the grip bit is enclosed. so there's seemingly no way to get them into the handsAm I just supposed to clip the grip hands open, or am I retarded and missing something obvious?
>>11712622You have to slice between the thumb and index finger then wedge the handles in, relying of the flexibility of the plastic.Or use that other hand that is open and tilts forward
>>11712797Thank, anon
>>11706455This is fantastic, is he coming with the little troopers in front? Been waiting for a set I have interest in with the little guys, and wasn't wanting a camel or whatever the fuck.
Got a 30MF as my very first model kit, mostly because I'm interested in the prospect of customizing it. Will probably get the white Libor Sorcerer class up to kinda make it my own, but other than that I don't really know where to start? How do I figure out what kind of parts are compatible? Buying a bunch of sets to try and mix and match haphazardly sounds pricey so id rather have an idea going in. I especially liked the idea of getting a 30MM kit to try and give him a bit of a mecha look, but again, I don't even know what the process of that would look like it how to get an idea of comparability. Any advice for a newcomer?
>>11706667What are the chances that peg leg fits on a 30MF Rosan Fighter? I've never built a 30MM guy before but i'd imagine the frames are similar.
>>11713547The short answer is: the generic accessory packs with the fantasy-themed props are the most reliably compatible, with some 30MM/MS stuff having some compatibility. Since all the 30ML stuff is built on the same pegs/ports you’ve got a lot of options for holding stuff or plugging armor on. However, there are some specific caveats, even among the 30MF line.Any 30MF accessory kit that is labeled as a “class up” requires parts of the original armor set, but because of how the shoulder/chest/hip armors are designed, you can mix and match from across different body sizes, even.Unfortunately for you and >>11714024, the 30MM joint system is c-clip oriented, so unless you do a bit of extensive parts combo/kitbashing, the 30MM limb parts aren’t going to be compatible. The girls of 30MS can put on a lot of the armor from 30MF, and of course, any peg-based accessories are fair game.Pic related, the 30MM energy weapon set is great for providing alternate weaponry to your knights.
>>11707204>>11707454The mecha has what looks lik pegs pm its shoulders foo so it might be relevant to you guys' interests
>>11714159>so unless you do a bit of extensive parts combo/kitbashing, the 30MM limb parts aren’t going to be compatible.Unfortunate but I've cut up my share of GW stuff to kitbash so i'll give it a shot. Apparently I have to wait until November or so anyway. I was holding that gold and red gladiator kit in my hands on my trip to Tokyo in January and regret not getting it since it's still not available in the States as far as I know.>Pic relatedI was eyeballin' that energy weapon pack for that exact sword, very nice.
>>11714930I’ll also mention that by and large, 30MF sets are taller than 30MM. I’ll put together a size comparison but Maxion sets are the closest in size.

>>11716766Autonine’s bike requires disassembling the whole figure and attaching different parts, but Vermin’s bike just pops out of the mech’s torso and unfolds (at least from what I remember, I don’t own Vermin anymore)
