Wtf is Mattel doing with it? Why is it only Hot Wheels? Are we gonna get microfigure playsets like Mega? New licenses? Are they even selling?
>>11700813According to Megaarchive on Reddit, we are getting more Hot Wheels sets this year, along with additional Masters of the Universe sets. Some of these will be display sets, like the Power Sword and Battle Cat in that style, though not remakes of those, while others will be playsets and vehicles. One of them is said to be a Fright Fighter. We will also be getting new Halo sets in the fall to coincide with the remake.

Their proportions just irked me, but they were also FRAGILE... The clear Halo guys would have hairline cracks, and the claws on the Aliens alien just SHATTERED into dust... (twice, for me).

>>11700813It's because Lego Speed Champions and their bigger cars are massive sellers.I actually like the Brick Shop models. Yeah Lego purists will cry about specialized pieces but it does give it a cleaner overall look. Also better wheels and tires.

They need to go back to muiltifigure sets like Cod but do it for stuff they fucked up the licensing on. More marines and other figures for Aliens. Sculley and other aliens for X-files. Sets of Vikings (possibly small builds like a blacksmiths shop or fishing hut.- and some "trolls" or whatever as bad guys. Sell packs of Witcher characters.- not just 1 figure, a monster and a bunch of bricks. like lean hard into the figures.

so far I'm not seeing any promise of FIGURES. the one thing that makes mega superior to lego, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get exactly 0 from MOTU or Halo.
