I just got G1 Astrotrain after only having a third party version of him and now I'm realizing like 80% of what went into that insane transformation on the 3P figure is on the original toy. Whoever designed this in the 80s was insane. If given enough resources he could probably make a robot turn into 3 things, 4 things. With enough funding there would be no upper limit.

>>11712928It's weird - while not as old as the Transformers franchise, MH has still been running strong for over 20 years at least, and has been a huge cultural phenomenon over in Japan (they literally have cafes and a whole section of Universal Studios dedicated to it, among other things). There's also no shortage of monsters that they could use for crossovers, so it's really baffling that A) it took this long just to get a crossover, and B) that the two Rathalos bots are all that came from it.
