SUCTION CUP DARTS ARE BACK ON THE MENU
>>

They got rid of the suction cups?

They've been gone for a very long time, around late 200X blaster design shifted from muzzle loaders where the tip could be anything to mag-fed stuff with breech mechanisms so the dart heads needed to not be wider than the foam. A lot of stuff was still revolvers or muzzle loaders but they used the newer darts for everything so they'd all be cross compatible. They tried these at one point but they didn't work very well, otherwise it's all just been stuff with little foam nubs at the end

The foam flinging hobby died with Coop.

I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with coop

from what I can tell there's no slide action, otherwise this could've been the greatest foam sidearm release in a long time

Personally, he was the only Nerftuber I could stand watching.

That said, it's not so much about about Coop himself but just when he stopped doing his show. He was essentially a canary in the coal mine as he dropped doing videos right as the hobby turned to crap.
>>
>>11720202
it would serve 0 mechanical purpose, but the emotional response would be off the charts
>>
It seems like most of the nerf world is switching to half-darts.

Is there any old blasters that Can't use half-darts or be modded to use them?

Longshot? Maverick? Stryfe?

Sorta considering cutting all my darts and maybe using the back half for Stefans to double stock.
>>
>>11721239
Anything with dart posts won't work with half lengths unless you remove them. Anything with magazines or internal magazines made for full lengths won't work with half lengths. Most breech loaders won't work either because they use a dart tooth spaced for a full length to chamber the dart into the seal. Otherwise, pretty much everything should be fine as long as you don't mind having to ramrod the dart into the barrel with something.
>>
>>11721261
Removing pegs isnt an issue (I fact it's already done with most of my stuff)

I guess it's the mag loading stuff that I'll have issues with.
>>
>>11721344
Yeah you're kind of fucked with otherwise stock mag loaders since they all use a dart tooth which is spaced to work with a full length. If it's something with a full blown sealed breech it'd work with a magwell adapter but I don't think anything except pro or 3D printed stuff will have a sealed breech.

is it worth it to build one of these? i feel like it could be fun, but it could also be catastrophic if i screw anything up
>>
>>11725387
What do you have for a printer?
>>
>>11727405
i got nothing, i'll be purchasing the 3d printed parts and the hardware kit from one of silly's authorised sellers
>>
>>11727704
From what I understand most if not all of the difficulty of putting something like this together comes from printing, so sure, go for it
>>
>>11715741
I got some cheapo off brand suction cups and they work pretty well, even in clip system blasters. I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to fuck up suction cups that bad.
>>11719989
Ready for it to get priced like absolute fucking shit in south america. 42 US dollar XShot Fury giving me high hopes this will cost my left kidney and my ballsack.
>>
>>11715768
Dang I had one of those as a kid. Liked to pretend it was a P90. The glow in the dark gimmick didn't really work well.
>>
>>11728197
the build does seem fairly complex and long, even with all the parts, but i'll probably do it in a month or so and hope for the best, and spend the time in-between studying the build guide and OOD's video

That bottom right one, That's just the Flywheel Pistol but in blue right?
I got two of the green ones for like sub $22 or so each on a sale way back
I'm curious about this tho >>11717316

>>11719989
Oh bayyybee
Lately Zuru stuff feels leagues better than Dart Zone. Not sure why

>>11725387
I fell for the Monkee Mods meme way back and got the Firefly Shotgun and despite following videos and lubing up points and even making sure extensively that everything was well smoothed and working when building it I just could not get it right
Tried numerous times and SOMETHING wasn't up so it was absurdly stiff in the "pump" part so i boxed it and never looked at it again
This actually looks good. I just wanted a good feeling Shotgun that could shell eject and internal mag

Anyone have a good suggestion for a foam blaster for a irl recreation of buckshot roulette? Ideally, I'm looking for shell ejection and a 8 round tube or magazine, but at least 6 would be fine. Doesn't have to be a shotgun either, as long as you can check the chamber.
>>
why the fuck are we autosagin
>>
>>11744938
When the fuck are these coming out?
It's been over a month since they were leaked
I want that Spinshot, t-pull or not.
>>
>>11719989
Finally, a pro flywheel pistol that might actually be on shelves outside of North America.
>>
>>11721261
I don't know if they're still available but there used to be third party magazines that went in a regular magwell but had a half length follower.
>>
>>11744053
It's a Warden repaint, so no. The Rough Cut was already inconsistent but most of the Elite 2.0 blasters have significant corner-cutting. At least the Wardens don't self-destruct anymore.
