I guess the closest comparison would be to those girls with the guns. I also do think her scaling to the other characters is important too. She seems such an obvious pick as one of the more popular characters in the series, so who knows what the holdup is. Puri as the 4th was already pretty crazy. I do also hope we get to Blast at some point, or who knows if they're limiting releases to the anime or not.

Huh Bandai is releasing EZY ver Ingram as well. I'm surprised they have so much fate in something that took so long to be made and is almost identical to original ver. They could just reissue the old RD and I think they get about the same profits. I get why Kaiyodo did theirs, they have no modern Patlabor stuff and just revived making mecha action figures. RD doesn't have moving panels on the shoulder armor like the Revoltech so I hope getting the Revo turns out well for me. Don't care enough to get both, but hope Bandai could make some other Labor from EZY.

Are these the best revoltech unit 02 figures? Do these scale with the new releases?

>>11737597For the vanilla form of Rebuild 02 yeah, but thats not saying much by modern standards. The sculpts are super soft, paint apps can be sloppy on the heads and some of the articulation can be fiddly even by Revo standards. The torsos are also made of this soft plastic and mine have started to slowly leak plasticizer so I have to wash them from time to time. If you don't mind skipping the normal versions until a new one comes out I would honestly recommend the 3.0 ver. with the gun arm or the 3+1 ver. with the Jet Alone body, those have much improved engineering and quality over the original Eva Evo releases.

Like they came out too early and the movie changed some details, and I think some later releases came with complementary parts for them? also I believe it was that 08 with the No.100 Eva body that had horrible plasticizer leakage, straight out from the factory. Maybe there were no wrong details but that's a worse trait that must be avoided. I remember they were fixed later. So The Yamaguchi Revoltech era ones you should avoid (like the left 02 in that pic) and aim for the Evangelion Evolution versions that were released later. If you care for screen accuracy at least. I remember some option parts were swapped back to their rightful owners lol.

I believe that 4th movie 02 also had a recentish reissue with the current grey Revoltech box. That one never had an Yamaguchi Revoltech release because the movie came out way later than that, just the EvaEvo release then the grey box reissue. Kind of random really just reissuing that 02 now. Maybe with the AY Unit 01 they were suppose to release 13 soon after and have that 02 reissue to go along them for Shin Evangelion lineup, reissue 08 too, but the scheduling got all fucked up.
