Target's Haulathon will be happening in a couple weeks (if not sooner). This seems to be what we'll get out of the releases this year. All will be first releases and then up for order later on at the usual spots (minus the 87 toon TMNT items).
Terrifier 2 Art
Legacy Series Harry Potter
>>11723617Legacy series Professor Snape
Black & White Red Death Phantom
Poster Series City Hunter Ultimate. Up for order now.
Ben Cooper wave 14, also up for order.
The Ghost Face Returns figure will be going up for order on Friday.
That new Usagi is a good way for people to get a comic version of thr character without buying into a pack.
>>11723619Still strange to me that they chose the outfit from the one scene actually in color to do the black & white of instead of his original figure look… but whatever.
>>11723624I get that they probably couldn't use voice changer from the movie, but surely a knockoff would be better than this goofy-looking spy gadget?
>>11723694That’s actually how it looked in Scream 3
>>11723695no wonder I forgot about it, hands down the worst installment
>>11723690I mean it makes for a far more striking appearance than his original duds, really.
>>11723620i thought it was already out? someone claimed to own it last thread
>>11723780If you actually bought toys you'd know the City Hunter Ultimate has been out for a decade. Older than you, really.
>>11723800we're talking about the figure that went up for pre-order yesterday, not an old figure. not sure why you can't grasp that?
>>11723803Ah, you're retarded, got it!
Super Grover promo shots.
>>11723807
>>11723807>>11723808Elmo is just around the corner, I can feel it.
>>11723817Well you've been wrong every single other time, so good luck with that.
>>11723808The eyes are completely wrong, what’s up with that?
>>11723837Look fine
>>11723845The eyes should be more oval shaped and not so close to the nose.
>>11723861Okay. Still looks fine
>>11723804>calls someone a retard>refuses to call it what it isJust say it's a RECOLOR OF AN OLD FIGURE.
>>11723865Well no shit Sherlock
>>11723868>someone agrees with you>you try to out them as stupid Stay classy.
>>11723808>>11723807Bought the minute I see it. Think they'll do the aisle displayer again like last year? That was way easier than hoping a rep put shit out.
>>11723607the skull and spine looks like a dildo kek
>>11723861wow, thats a bummer
>>11724002what were they thinking with the lower profile of the helmet visor, that widow's peak is way too pronounced
>>11723861what the fuck that looks awful
>>11724002>>11724009>>11724040Samefag. You are trying way too hard.
>>11723808>bendy wire arms
>>11724084Well yeah dipshit, how else would you do something like that? These characters have those thin arms and only doing an elbow joint is a disservice to the character.
>>11724087Nta but bendy wire stuff is notorious for degrading over time.
>>11724102didn't their godzillas keep having the wire break out of the bendy tails?
>>11724102Not really. Only on certain rubbers, not what gets used here.>>11724110No, they didn't.>>11724112Yeah dipshit, That doesn't mean it's going to work on a character like Grover.
>>11724114Grover has round tubular arms, there's no reason to mess that look up with hinges. Thank God you don't design toys.
>>11724112Kermit's arms bend flatly, which would allow for a true hinge, Grover's don't, hence why a bend arm makes more sense and keeps the look right. At least pretend you know the characters.
>>11724119If their intent is to keep the look, they already fucked the eyes up. Might as well go ahead and add jointed arms like most collectors will want. Bendy limbs are terrible.
>>11724120Well no, they didn't fuck anything up. But it's pretty clear you want any reason to bitch. Bendy limbs are not terrible and they're the right choice for Grover. >>11724121Okay nutjob. Keep those delusions to yourself.
>>11724087>only doing an elbow joint is a disservice to the character.Only including bendy wire bullshit that will disintegrate in 3 months is a disservice to the customer. They could have included swappable arms with elbows, or even static ones so you can at least have a full figure when the wire arms inevitably break. They could have included both of these instead of the cheapest shit known to man, because it sure as fuck doesn't come with any accessories or have as many paint apps compared to Count, or Bert, or Ernie.>dipshitGo fuck yourself, you company cocksucker. You will literally rush to the defense of any garbage this company throws at your feet.
>>11724123>bendy wire bullshit that will disintegrate in 3 monthsIt lasts for years dimwit. Be more of a disingenuous troll. And no, they're not doing swappable arms, that's the stupidest fucking idea. The wires aren't going to break, unless YOU do something to break them. Ignorant ass.
>>11724123i definitely would have preferred swappable arms to bendy wire
>>11724127Yeah I bet you would, you're determined to be as contrarian as possible.
>>11724128i am not your thread enemy you confrontational faggot, save your bullshit for him
>>11724130The Sesame Street workshop work with them to make these figures dumbass. They send them reference and they OK everything from start to finish. Maybe get a new hobby if you're going to lose your shit over a great looking Grover figure.
>>11724134I'm sorry your troll attempts have failed every single time. :3 Serves you right.
>>11724110Yes. Also the majority of Xenomorphs.>>11724124>that's the stupidest fucking idea. No, the stupidest fucking idea is incorporating bendy wire on the limbs that will be posed the most often.
>>11724121>I've only been to the Sesame Street Work Shop, right handed for Eric Jacobson in a Global Grover skit, and saw them building the current thinner lower jaw Grover puppetThat’s actually pretty damn cool anon
>>11724149>Yes. Also the majority of Xenomorphs. So, no, not a thing that happens.>No, the stupidest fucking idea is incorporating bendy wire on the limbs that will be posed the most often. No, that's actually an intelligent move. Which is why you don't know any better.
>>11724150Yeah, too bad he's lying.
>>11724158Are you an insane person? Those are your only frames of reference? Holy shit. No wonder everything you say is wrong.
>>11724160You're lying through your teeth and freaking out about the very correct choice of using bend arms for Grover. You have issues.
>>11724152>So, no, not a thing that happens.LIARhttps://www.instagram.com/reel/DHQb4LxzxqR/https://www.reddit.com/r/LV426/comments/1o6gn8t/i_just_got_the_neca_scorched_figure_and_the_tail/
>>11724133Why are you defending this botched Grover so hard? Did you design it?
>>11724162Boy you really do just straight up lie about things that never happened.
>>11724167Oh neat, staged fake ass instagram and a nothing reddit post. Why don't you go back there and stay there?
>>11724167So that literally has nothing to do with a bendy wire issue. You are once again, a fucking moron.
>>11724181I accept your concession
>>11724174Those were just from Google results, retard. But I'm capable of using multiple toy forums and social media sites. Unlike you, I haven't been banished here for being an unsociable retard that spergs out whenever someone doesn't like something about a toy.
>>11724193That's great dude. Not a bendy wire issue, you failed again. Every toy company uses bendy wires still, you'd know that if you bought toys.
>>11724199Four Horsemen Studios.
>>11724206sbubby
>>11724199Hasbro, Mattel, McFarlane, Hot Toys, Jazwares...
>>11724210>>11722860Mostly just oc fantasy stuff, generic mooks or dragons, wish somebody did that but with civilians or henchmen
>>11724195Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you inbred? The plastic around the wire armature degrading and breaking is a part of the issue with this shitty design.>you'd know that if you bought toysAnd if you bought toys or actually did more on this board than run damage control for one company, you'd know this affected SHF Luffy with bendy limbs just last year.
>>11724214Yeah it’s good to browse the catalog to potentially see whats up for toy companies to try out
>>11724218Literally not what happened there. Weird lie to tell.
The main issue with bendy wire arms, even moreso than their eventual degradation, is that they're not the easiest to pose. Every single bendy figure I've ever had, I can't get the thing to pose 100% perfectly the way I'm trying to pose it. Like 95% of the arm will be how I want it, but the very first bit of it, under the shoulder, will be aimed in the opposite direction, or something.
>>11724218>The plastic around the wire armature degrading and breaking is a part of the issue with this shitty design. That didn't happen. Nothing was deteriorated. Nothing just deteriorates that fast. What is this bonkers ass logic?
>>11724230>their eventual degradationYeah, in like 50 years at earliest. You're insane.>Every single bendy figure I've ever had, I can't get the thing to pose 100% perfectly the way I'm trying to pose it. That's a skill issue. Outing yourself like that is weird, but you should work on that.
>>11724240If that's your point of reference for anything like this, you have no room to talk on the subject matter.
>>11724234I'm sorry Mr. Bendy Wire Inventor, I forgot you work at Bendy Wire Incorporated.
neca could make a figure that literally disintegrated into hyper-carcinogenic dust the instant you opened its box and this guy would still find a way to defend it, it's unreal
are they shipping the what we do in the shadows toony terrors in solid cases? ive seen them twice in stores and both times they were only a single full peg of a single character >>11724282its funny when people act like he works at neca because the more he posts the less interested i am in neca's output. ten years ago i was a big fan despite all the shortcomings (fucking ball wrists and ankles sucked so bad, shitty plastic, bad qc) and now that most of that has been fixed, i still can't excited because the biggest faggot on earth makes the whole company seem toxic (nevermind that the company/their parent company actually fucking sucks).
>>11724282>>11724316Reminder that you're getting pissy because Grover has bendable arms. Which is what works best, and looks best, for the character. You are the problem.
I'll wait for the Blokees Grover, those look better anyway
>>11724454Nah, they don't.
>>11723617>>11723617It's pointless that these don't articulate but I assume it's a license cash grab before the new figures of the new kids come out, assuming it's true Mattel has the general commercial license to flood stores with live action tie-ins when the series drops on HBO.>>11724141>>11724143Nope And all this arguing back and forth is more tedious than the entertainment y'all seem to believe it is.
>>11724514They do have articulation, it's just limited. They're from back when NECA was doing the Mcstatue style.
Second time seeing Pee Wee in the wild.Metaluna Mutant looks good. Was hoping to see Hermann and Grandpa up close but this location isn't good for that. It gets shit but usually just one of two, that quickly gets picked up by the college kids.Walked out with $100+ in plastic crack but none of it was NECA.
>>11724452You are pissy because anons pointed out the goofy eyes on the Grover toy and the undeniable fact that wire limbs are fragile
>>11724609The limbs aren't fragile at all. You'd have to purposefully try to damage it for anything to happen. And the eyes aren't goofy either. You're an insane person.
>>11724609So you don't support wired capes?
>>11724628nta but cloth can bend with greater range than the wires so there's minimal issue, plastic and rubber can't.
>>11724639Right, meaning it won't be fragile in a rubber piece. Meaning your whole spiel was nonsense.
>>11724642literally the opposite of what I said. how did you manage to misunderstand that? cloth can move freely and doesn't get stressed when bent, whereas the plastic and rubber used on action figures is more rigid can't hold up to the same treatment without being stressed and damaged
>>11724645Wrongo. The wire isn't under the same kind of stress. The rubber or plastic prevents that. You would have to CONSCIOUSLY try to damage it by pushing it too far. You're at a greater risk of overdoing a wire in cloth than the rubber.
>>11724648how are you STILL misreading this? I'm saying THE PLASTIC is at risk of being damaged. the wire might break with repeated use as well, but THE PLASTIC is at greater risk.
>>11724655The plastic isn't at risk either. Unless you purposely force it. You are wrong.
>>11724628with capes you don't have many other options apart from wire, limbs you have plenty of more durable choice. thats a pretty dumb comparison desu
>>11724950A bendy arm is extremely durable. Unless you try to break it, in which case, that is on you.>>11725003Sounds like a personal problem. Never had that issue unless you force it. Learn to handle toys.
>>11725060Who the fuck said something stupid like that?
>>11725037It's a toy, you should be able to play with it without the arm breaking off, that is a crazy cope
>>11725075Good news! You can, and it won't.
>>11725075it's no use trying to reason with him, anon. he'll defend literally anything NECA does, including their employment of a child predator
>>11725089Cool off topic shitpost
>>11725092I notice you didn't deny defending a diddler
>>11725108What is this trolling? You have nothing better going on Friday night?
>>11725116So you're just trolling. That's not on topic.
>>11725120You keep telling yourself that chump. Maybe get a new word of the day dictionary.
>>11725124Learn what words mean before you use them to death.
>>11725120>>11725124You are so annoying.
>>11725079We will have to wait and see if Grover's wire arms don't snap like all the other wire limbs do>>11725089He just argues for the sake of it
>>11725130>like all the other wire limbs doLike what wire limbs? None of them snap, why are you even sitting there lying like that? What is the point? You may as well just tell everyone you never buy toys, ever.
>>11725138So a hamhanded retard like yourself? No wonder you don't buy toys. You don't know how to handle them.
>>11725106how hard is it to say "no, I don't support NECA employing groomers"?
>>11725136Yeah I don't get all the shit posts either. I've never once had bendy tail, wing, arm, whatever break. All of my McFarlane dragons are still together all these years later too
>>11724452>what works best, and looks bestPeople said the same shit about the foam core for the sewer lair when it was first shown, but we've all seen how that played out over time (the bowing). Only time will tell for the Grover arms, but unless they have some brand new tech for wire bendy arms, I'm afraid split rubber is inevitable
>>11725182You mean the board that nobody at all has ever had an issue with all these years later? Yet you keep trolling because you have nothing better going on in your sad life.
>>11725186What is wrong with you people?
>>11725204You are an insane sack of shit.
>>11725204It barely even curves.
NECA's doing a lifesize old man Chucky
>>11725256That'd be awesome, but I don't know if they'd put the money into scaled Puppets since it probably doesn't make enough money to warrant the costs. I'd buy all of them though...
>>11723607No Tarman or Trash for Return of the Living Dead's 40th anniversary last year, FUCK NECA!!!FACT!!!
>>11725534Full Moon makes life size prop replicas they are expensive but pretty cool>>11725555they are usually late on anniversaries, they may still come out this year or next
Found Herman in the wild, looks good. I would have bought if he came with Grandpa in a two pack. Solo, buying each, not sure if it's worth that much just for shits and giggles.
>>11725820A two pack of them would be the same price as buying them single, so this makes no sense.
>>11726302I think the only two-pack I want to see is maybe Lily and Eddie just to finish the main family off.
>>11726433I don't think anyone has ever done Critters figures, other than many years ago, I think someone made some small prop/puppet replicas.I don't think there's really a lot anyone can do other than Ugg, and Lee, and maybe a pack with a bunch of Crites of various sizes. Though, IIRC the 3rd movie (I think the third one..? The one in the apartment complex) tries to pull a Gremlins 2 and has a few that have something happen to them that make them stand out more. I remember one getting part of its head shaved, and one gets burned with bleach so it turns half-gray, so maybe there could be a little variety.
>>11726537No Munchies?
>>11726585I first watched it when I was a kid. It's directed by the editor for Gremlins, and you can tell her inspiration was to make Gremlins again, but slightly more risque. Like if Troma made Gremlins, but they kept it on the upper level of a PG rating.Don't expect a masterpiece, but I rate it higher than Hobgoblin.
>>11726597Only good thing about Hobgoblins was the MST3K episode.
>>11726527Idunno, you could sell a pack of assorted critters, critter ball + skeleton 2 pack, and the hunters both in and out of disguise
>>11726653The Critter ball alone would be a fun merch item.
The Old Chucky replica will be on supercoolcollective.com tomorrow. Only 500 are being made. $525 plus shipping.
>>11727098
>>11727098>>11727100
>>11726302>>11726302I don't routinely buy NECA at MSRP but if all they do is shove two boxes of figures into one larger box and double the price on any two packs they market, well that explains why I and so many others walk past the NECA display.
>>11727245You're very alone in that.
Apparently Bruce Campbell has cancer. Really fucking sucks to hear that.
>>11727439Shame he will never get to buy the Elmo figure when it comes out.
>>11727439I'm sure NECA is excited for the inevitable increase in sales
>>11727448Yeah, that Evil Dead 1 Ash is a bargain bin figure. Shame that they refuse to redo Evil Dead 2 Ash or even touch Army of Darkness.
>>11727443>>11727448What pathetic trolls
>>11727100I want to put this next to someone when they're sleeping

>>11728086Albus looks like he's gonna attack the NECA logo, but he's the only one who can see it.
Always liked their Voldemort. Going to get him to replace the one that came with the big grim reaper grave set.

I want a NECA Rhedosaurus
>>11729076That'd be awesome actually

>>11729311I know snakes. They ain't got no arms. That man has arms.
So here's the official Haulathon lot. March 20th is the official start, but expect things to start appearing in the next week or so. As they do.
>>11729504Good thing nothing here interests me.
>>11729510I would have bought the Pee-Wee if I didn't already get the inferior version, but I'm also out on this drop.
>>11729504leaf here and new to necawill these be available online? or am I looking at ebay, trying to get a grover.
>>11729504based on the box for the Bride of Frankenstein set I thought it would include a wrapped headsculpt if nothing else. feels like a missed opportunity
>>11729518Yes. Target's website will have them online over the weeks. They do Friday drops at around 8am Central time I think? But it's only a select few (say 4-5 of the items) each week.So Grover may be up the first Friday, or it may not go up till the last drop. But they update the Haulathon Target page that morning so we'll know what's going up before it goes live....does Target ship to Canada? I know there's also the actual Haulathon site that ALSO puts stuff up for international only.
>>11729518As an international, you'll want this one since Target doesn't shop to Canada.https://haulathon.com/Keep in mind that sometimes the drops come in a different order than what Target has, like Tigerclaw might be week 1 on Target but Haulathon will have another figure in it's place and Tigerclaw is week 2 instead. This happened for a couple of things last year.
>>11729504The Sakai Turtles and Tiger Claw are my biggest wants. Might get the new Pee-Wee, maybe Harry Potter and Voldemort.
>>11723695
>>11729530>>11729544thanks for the info fellasi live really close to the border and i've got an american friend that comes over often, no nearby target though. so if I have to ship to an american address I can I just prefer not to.
>>11729504>Turtleslop and nearly 20 year old HP figures
>>11729504Grover ain't out yet. Pre-order?
>>11729859the regular Grover isn't out yet, no, and no pre-order just yet. Super Grover will be out within a week or less.
>>11729859You mean normal Grover? I think he was Q3 of this year according to the NYCC display card. Oscar should be the next preorder because he was slated for Q2 like Big Bird.
>>11729877What is Elmo’s expected date?
>>11729878He is being tooled for costs right now, but the current plan is for him to premiere as a part of the "We Are All Monsters" SDCC exclusive 4 pack. His retail release will be a two pack, but the other character is a surprise that I can't disclose as of yet.
>>11729873>>11729877Oh damn, well, cheers for the heads up. Gonna be odd having the Palisades Super Grover and NECA Super Grover sharing a shelf.
>>11723611>>11729504Didn't someone post the inside of the Pee Wee, or was that the old thread? Or someplace else? I remember the bitching about inferior Pee Wee but I'd rather have both in hand and decide if I want to keep them both or stick to one.I'd really rather have more playhouse characters. And an actual Playhouse diorama. And the bicycle.
is the alien queen neca's most popular figure from the alien/aliens line? the reissue basically sold out instantly though i hear there's another shipment in a few weeks
>>11729133I hope Neca goes all out on ‘33 King Kong figures and merch when the movie becomes public domain in the next couple years. Their almost-1933 Kong was good, and the creatures packs were fun additions, but without any licensing issues for doing screen-accurate versions of everything they could make even the T-Rex that gets its face snapped.
>>11729995I think they're on the like, fifth or sixth reissue? It's a pretty spectacular piece of work. Like if you want a queen figure it's -the- one to get. I hope they can get it back out to keep up with the demand though.
>>11729878Oh let's see...uhhh...never. >>11729898So weird how much energy you spend lying.
This is like NECA won't make a Kermit figure.
>>11730105No, Kermit's a worldwide well loved character. Also they showed he was coming. You keep trolling about Elmo and keep getting shut down every show. It's pretty sad.
>>11730106Elmo literally surpassed Kermit in fame, even more so in the 90s. All people know Kermit for now is 'he doesn't sound right!'.
>>11730106Elmo is more popular than Kermit.
>>11730106correction: they showed an arm that looked like kermit, and he wasn't shown off at toyfair

>>11730271>is not the MuppetsThe Muppets? That killed Palisade? The Muppets? That can't get a regular TV show that last beyond one season since 1989? The Muppets, which haven't been greenlit for a new Muppet Show run despite how successful the Sabrina Carpenter Special was? THOSE Muppets?
>>11730271Yo that goal post heavy?
>>11730294The Muppets didn't kill Palisades...don't know where you pulled that from other than your ass. The Muppets are a staple of society at this point. The new Muppets Show is a huge hit, which is just icing on the cake for a new line.
>>11730298>new showHalf hour special that was a pilot and wasn't picked up.Fixed that for you.
>>11730298>staple of societyJust like Elmo. He's even connected with the One Piece fans!
>>11730300>and wasn't picked up.You sure do like being wrong about everything
>>11730304Gee, would be nice if you provided proof. You must work for every company, since you know what they're doing at any given time.
>>11730209
>>11730365These can literally still come out.
>>11730369Doubting.
>>11730365Not canceled, they're having to wait till the costs aren't exorbitant thanks to your poor voting habits.
>>11730209people posted four, and you went 'w-w-w-w-well these aren't muppets'
>>11730375Yeah, you're reaching pretty hard to keep trolling.
>>11730369So can these. But they won't.>>11730374>Not canceledWhole line is cancelled. Keep coping.>thanks to your poor voting habitsI didn't vote the way you accuse me of voting, but keep trying to drag your /pol/tard bullshit onto /toy/ because it really does show what an unhinged retard you are.
>>11730381That's cool man, hope you're ready to buy the Muppets line when it comes out. You can buy a box of tissues to wipe away your tears too.
>>11730374Why are the costs for those specific figures so exorbitant, and not for 2012 Tigerclaw and Slash, or a fucking lifesize Chucky doll, or literally every other NECA figure that is coming this year?
>>11730385Because, if you actually knew anything about toy making, not every figure costs out the same. It can be due to paint apps, no reuse potential, articulation cuts, accessories, etc. etc. They had to cut a bunch of accessories from the 2012 line just to keep the rising costs down. You are very dumb, go educate yourself.
>>11730384>ask someone to post a neca figure that was shown, and then canceled.>people provided seven examples>"OK THOSE AREN'T MUPPETS SO THEY DON'T COUNT"dude, you're doing mental gymnastics and judging by the way you post, it's at the special olympics.
>>11730387Oh no, you think everyone is one person... I guess you'll just have to wait for the Muppets figures to hit stores to ease your mental distress.

>>11730396No, it says you're so desperate to troll the thread that you lose your shit at anyone that says something to you you don't like. And you didn't prove anything in the end. You had your pointless tantrum. Good job. Enjoy the Muppets figures.
>>11730398like you did over elmo?
>Mattel lied to you, they spent money on making prototypes just to troll you. You're never getting Street Sharks Wave 3!>But uh...NECA never canceled anything they showed off.... Uh uh... Those examples aren't Muppets, so they're still doing the Muppet line....
>>11730399Nobody's brought up Elmo but you. Might want to check your obsession there.
>>11730401You sure are assmad about the Muppets line coming out
>>11730384You need to stop thinking that every anon that challenges your insanity is the same person. I've never said that Muppets figures aren't coming. I was just posting NECA figures that aren't getting released despite prototypes being shown because you like to move the goalposts and screech "BUT THOSE ONES DON'T COUNT.">>11730386>not every figure costs out the sameNot what was being asked.>They had to cut a bunch of accessories from the 2012 lineWhat accessories were cut? >>11730403No, just confused after you moved the goal post after instantly getting proven wrong. Anyways, here's the Elmo variants coming out.>Elmo, Elmonosuke, Not To Late with Elmo, Cousin Pepe, Cousin Elmer, Mecha ElmoElmo D. Luffy will be a comic-con exclusive
>>11730406That's great dude. Enjoy the Muppets figures! Since you apparently don't enjoy anything else in life.
>>11730408This is so hilarious coming from the guy who fucking hates Elmo with a passion.
>>11730407>Elmo variants coming outOh boy, you really are delusional.
>>11730409 (me)>>11730410See what I mean?
Still waiting for the proof Disney green lit a new Muppet show from this guy. Cause that'd be big news, right? The special bringing the Muppets back to full force on primetime TV? It'd be covered everywhere.
>>11730413>relying on Google AI bullshit to troll withOh my lord, I didn't think it could get sadder than this. Also you got bigger issues going on if you actually think anything that slop shits out is trustworthy.
>>11730415Everything is in Elmo's favor>Paint appsOnly three colors needed.>PopularHe's the most famous muppet.>Figure sizeHe's small, so he'd be cheaper to produce.
>>11730417>He's small, so he'd be cheaper to produce. We already knew you didn't know how toy production works, but this pretty well seals it that you're completely ignorant to it entirely. You should try asking Hasbro how "small being cheaper to produce" works out for them.
>>11730408It IS great that you lied about accessories being cut from the 2012 line and are now now being evasive with your usual passive aggressive bitchinessYou should try lying less often.Maybe try not lying at all.Enjoy the rest of this year's TMNT x Universal Monsters figures though. You are getting all the figures you deserve.
>>11730420Hasbro doesn't have the Sesame Street license, so it doesn't count. Hell, Elmo's small enough to be a pack in figure, like Mr. Johnson is.
So they never made the reich puppets for Puppet Masters?
>>11730424>a pack in figure, like Mr. Johnson is.Yeesh, still trying too hard and still wrong about how things work when it comes to making toys.
>>11730429Dude? Mr. Johnson's a pack in figure with Default Grover. UNLESS they showed it off and canceled it, bringing the examples of canceled stuff they showed up to 8.
>>11730431That's...not a pack in figure. You're just using words you don't understand now.
>>11730431That's more shit AI slop.
>>11730433>comes with Grover>is a different character>that is packed in the same package as GroverHence forth, pack in.
>>11730431>>11730435Maybe Grover counts as the pack in figure. Mr Johnson does come with an alternate head, and Grover is just one of those cheap Bend 'ems.
>>11730435No, that's not correct at all. It's a 2-pack of figures.
>>11730437Honestly? Good for Mr. Johnson. 54 years of dealing with Grover's bullshit? He's earned being the front and center for once.
>>11730440Figures have articulation. Don't see any on Mr. Johnson. Just like there's none on fellow pack in figure, Watson the Dog.
>>11730443>Don't see any on Mr. JohnsonI'm sorry your eyes don't work, anon. That doesn't change the facts that it's a 2-pack of figures.
>>11730444>no arm articulation>no legGranted, it's a prototype that was accidentally shown before an official announcement (same with Sherlock Hemlock and Watson)
fuck you here's my muppet check list, since neca's going to be doing all of them except elmo
>>11730446>>no arm articulation>>no legOh maaan, your eyes really don't work...
>>11730448OK, show me them moving.
>>11730446>>no arm articulation>>no legYou should get a life instead of trolling the board. You're quite embarrassing.
>>11730452I see shoulder at least, can't see the arm ones. But yeah there's leg. But hey, they had arm and leg articulation for PACK IN figure Bad Polly for Palisade.
>>11730441
>>11730453>can't see the arm onesYou really are blind.
>>11730455Hey, it's more of a testimate that they hid the arm bends very well in the elbow folds on his suit.
Has there been any Gargoyles announcements lately?
>>11730458Uh, only Gargoyles thing in recent memory is they did/are doing a crossover with Darkwing Duck.
>>11730458no, they got revealed and canceled
>>1173045No.That makes 11 unreleased figures.
>>11730462>>11730463Great minds think alike.
>>11730462Not cancelled, put on hold. They're working on making them online exclusive releases. Nice try though.
>>11730465NECA lied, just like Mattel did on S.Sharks Wave 3.
>>11730465Where was that even said?
>>11730462>>11730463I hate how the one on the left is smirking. The fuck does he know that I don't!?
>>11730468the fine print of his ass.
>>11730468You should actually watch the walkthrough videos people do every year
>>11730471>no source provided
>>11730471You mean like where we learned Mattel was putting the Street Sharks on hold, a clear lie, like this one is?
>>11730471Really? Last I remember, the toycollectr magazine guy said it was silently canceled.
>>11730474Which has nothing to do with them getting out the final figures for a NECA store exclusive.
>>11730478No, it means it was silently canceled.
>>11730479Which has nothing to do with putting out the final figures as online exclusives.
>>11730474not canceled, just on hold for almost 4 years! nevermind the eight other fully sculpted figures in the line that they never even showed off
>>11730471I've watched multiple walkthrough videos for NYTF, SDCC, and NYCC, and this is quite literally the only place on the internet that it has been mentioned that they might be released as online exclusives. Is this more made up bullshit like "Metaluna Krang is definitely still coming" which was almost immediately disproven by an interview with Trevor a few posts later?
>>11730489You mean the interview you misinterpret constantly? You aren't very good at this.
>>11730490Only Mattel lies about it's delays.
>>11730490No, I mean the interview you misinterpret constantly. The one you need to misinterpret to cope with the fact that your claim that Metaluna Krang is definitely still coming was destroyed in the same thread when Trevor said it won't be released anytime soon because it wouldn't fit in the basic figure price range and the entire line has been shelved for now.Now post your source that they are working on releasing the remaining Gargoyles figures as online exclusives.
>>11730505So you completely misinterpreted what was said in the interview? Got it, got it.
>>11730506so prove him wrong! you can do that, right?
>>11730506He did say HOPEFULLY the line will start up again in a few years and MAYBE they will release those two cancelled figures, but that's it for now. Nothing definite, unlike the statements from Mattel regarding Street Sharks. Nothing that's really open to interpretation, unless you are a schizo that needs to misinterpret what was said and twist it to mean something completely different because you can't cope with reality. Now post your source that they are working on releasing the remaining Gargoyles figures as online exclusives.POST.YOUR.SOURCE.
>>11730517In other words, you completely misinterpreted the interview. Cool, cool, cool.
>>11730518Nice deflection.
>>11730518All I have done is paraphrase what Trevor said about the TMNT Universal line with as little distortion as possible. You are the one that needs to interpret what he said in a certain way as a coping mechanism. Now stop deflecting and post your source that they are working on releasing the remaining Gargoyles figures as online exclusives.
Has NECA ever released anything else like the Professor (Perry?) lab two pack for TMNT. All I want is some or most of the lab equipment. I saw some people list the orange coverall suit version of the professor by himself but what I am wanting is lab equipement, not these particular accessories. The person who posted the universal monsters Frankenstein set with Grandpa and Herman last thread is what actually gave me the idea of looking. Something like PICREL but not clear Chinese garbage with no design aesthetic. Thanks!
>>11730569Uhh, I think Perry has the most stuff like that. The first Invisible Man has a few things, so does Invisible Donnie. There's some tubes and glass containers with Grandpa Munster.Nothing all as concentrated though.
>>11731036>tubes and glass containers with Grandpa Munster.Thanks. That's good to know. Shame it's not as much stuff as PICREL - but it all looks like it would work perfectly, and Grandpa could be fun to own. Professor Perry I could give two fucks about and the body looks too frumpy to use as a random lab coat scientist, I've bought up clearance Marvel Legends Egg Heads for cheap lab coat bodies but could have used one more with a different shirt/tie but Perry looks like he fell out of dumpster truck. I want that Universal Frankenstein accessory pack table but I suppose I should stop being lazy and use up the foam I have and try to make something first.
>>11728440KEK
>>11729504Not a single thing there that I want. They should stop with all the statues and black and white repaints.
do we think they'll actually finish munsters or will it be another abandoned family like dinosaurs
>>11730214Fuck Neca for forcing us to buy Crash 60 fucking times on the hope and a dream that they release Coco!
>>11731355I knew they wouldn't finish Dinosaurs so I refused to buy into the line. I'm doubtful they do the full cast of Munsters either.
>>11731355We'll probably get Lily, and they'll find a way to milk the Herman mold a couple of more times, and then it will get shelved like Gargoyles, Dinosaurs and D&D. At best, they might make a couple of cheap ass Ben Cooper Munsters figures like D&D got because NECA are intent on flogging that dead horse until it's a puddle of glue.
>>11731370Oh no, how dare a company make money off the IP they paid money to produce product for. Those bastards!
>>11731370I'm confident Lily will get a release too, and that could be the stopping point in the line if they don't make any others. Eddie is possible too, but I don't have high hopes for Marilyn unless they maybe pack her with Eddie. I'd say you made a good call on variants as well, racing outfit Herman has a high probability of being made, and I imagine they'll do black & white versions of the figures like they've been doing with Universal.
>>11731413What IP are you talking about?
>>11731359>so I refused to buy into the line. What a stupid thing to say. Supporting the line is how you get more figures. Plus they're great figures. Idiotic approach.
>>11731355they can probably reuse that shitty rob zombie version for lily with new heads or somethingshe won't fucking sell though, hate to say it, but she'll kill any chances of eddie and marilyn when she inevitably shelfwarms
>>11731768Neither of what you've said is true.
>>11731771no one asked for the thoughts of a sycophant necanon, sometimes its better to look at things realistically, munsters isn't exactly high in demand
I wanna see this guy argue that Elmo is somehow less popular than actual failed characters from Sesame Street. Like characters that where dropped mid-debut season. Like Deena and Pearl (made because Frank and Jim where busy and couldn't perform Ernie and Bert as often as they could) or Professor Hastings (who was dropped mid season 1, because his gag of falling asleep mid lecture lost the children's attention.)
>>11731794Guess you better shut the fuck up then, cause it is in high demand. Even the Rob Zombie versions sold well, and that movie was dull as fuck. People have wanted these for ages. Retard.
>>11731801Sucks your youtube boyfriend lied to you. We can see it's affecting you pretty badly.
>>11731805I love how you hate Elmo so much, you decide to attack a guy who has deep ties with the Muppets and the Sesame Workshop, just to prove you're right.Which you're not. He's coming 'down the pipeline'. We're getting him before fucking Professor Hastings. Also, stop samefagging.
>>11731805that's not what the person asked, they asked you to argue how elmo is less popular than those given characters
>>11731794It...is in demand though
So are they going to show off more pictures or announce more figures, or are we getting pre-orders?
>>11731847Next con isn't until July, I think? But they'll announce stuff between now and then. Pre-Orders may not start popping up till April or June. Kind of depends on how far things are in the process.
>>11731843muppet stuff has a collectionunlike you. :) now tell us why elmo isn't popular
Huh,deflected twice. Pity. Anyways, I'm not looking forward to when the Muppet line gets canceled after they release Kermit. Cause just like Disney, NECA has no fucking idea what to do with the IP.
>>11731804okay, but you better try not to have an aneurysm when they show up at Ross in a few months
>>11731804Munsters was canceled. Gargoyles was canceled. Dinosaurs was canceled. Crash Bandicoot was canceled. Planet of the Apes was canceled.
A third deflection. Real damn shame. But yeah, don't expect NECA to do anything with the muppets. They killed Palisades and Diamond Select.
>>11731340That'd be neat to see what you come up with. Also man, I forgot how bad those Diamond Select figures were. Thank Jesus for these new figures.
>>11731930Their fucking Scooter figure... Ew.
You knoe who need NECAs? Especially given how as opposed to Gargoyles, they were 100% created as Disney's answer to Ninja Turtles. But never will due to being in copyright hell after Disney stopped endorsing the team to the point they didn't even appear on Ducktales 2017 or even get a nod like Gargoyles eventually did with the Keith David-voiced stone horse.
>>11732135Nosedive was hot
>>11732135>they were 100% created as Disney's answer to Ninja TurtlesWere they? Turtles was practically dead when it aired.
>>11730462>>11730463Coldstone was featured on the cover of Toycollector magazine and had a feature article. And NECA just said nope. At least give us McBeth and human Demona.
>>11732279Not really how that works
>>11732279>>11732279I can't read or hear 'Coldstone' with out thinking about how Mike Tyson called Stone Cold Steve Austin his 'main man Cold Thtone' back in 1997.
