Been a while since we’ve had one, so post any updated displays you’ve made or newly acquired figures. Any brand or scale is welcome.

Kotobukiya ArtFX, Batman on Joker gargoyle.

Got him for a steal. He was discounted because the end of his cape had a few broken pieces. I bought, and repaired it. My favorite piece in my batman collection.

Currently on the floor collecting dust. I need to replace my Superman display with them, but was waiting for Kamione SS4 Gogeta to drop.
>>
>>11729811
I ended up realizing a big reason I like your display is due to the case being white rather than black. White makes everything pop so much better
>>
>>11729811
Someday if I ever succeed at adulting and get my own house, I'm going to get a big case like that. I have all the toys I could ever want for but my display capacity is pathetic. I have room on top of my movie game and book shelves and that's about it.

Unironically my dream setup, I didn't realize light would hit that far down, that's great..
>>
>>11729871
I specifically chose white when ordering. They could build with wood, black, mirrored and glass. I didn't want to see the wall behind, but wanted it clean looking, like an expo display, hence the white.
>>11730032
You will always run out of space. I have the same issue. Everything is so crammed and now I have Grand Elder coming for Namek, and I have no idea what to do. Need to get another case at some point.
>>11730034
>I didn't realize light would hit that far down
I had to add extra USB sensor light bars to 2 of the shelves. You can see on the bottom One Piece and Kinnikuman shelf it's darker because I haven't installed them yet.
Also nice Mammothman. Is that the Romando?

>>

>WTF happened to the captcha
I keep hearing people complain about it. Am I getting something different? The shapes are great. Very easy to find the odd one out. I hated the old one where you had to line up the overlay to get the correct code. I'd get it wrong half the time.
>>
>>11731066
This. The new captcha is infinitely easier than trying to decode the phrase. And it's certainly better than pick out the images with a bus or a bike. If you post enough and your browser scores enough good boy points you even get easier captchas that are just a single "pick the shape that's different" puzzle that's super easy. Hell, half the time I don't even need to enter a captcha now. I will admit the harder captcha like pick the stars can be a pain but it's still better than the old way.
>>
>>11731078
>pick the shape that's different
yeah. Thats what all mine are. Guess im a lucky one.

>>11731088

What head you got on Superman?
>>
>>11731416
None. I packed all mine up and about to do the same with all my Supermen. Done with DC collecting. No interest in the IP anymore.
>>
>>11731431
why not keep one of each?
>>
>>11731431
How does this even happen? I'm genuinely curious because I can't picture building a collection like that and then just falling out of love with the IP. I can see maybe getting a figure or two from a show you like and then selling them, but building a whole collection like that, and a good one to boot. What made you fall out of love with the IP?
>>
>>11731454
Clearly not the OP of that post.
>>
>>11731437
Completionist mentality. I don't like mixed displays so stand alone figures never have a home.
>>11731454
Long story, but suffice to say I was never the biggest DC fan, and it was only when mafex started their hush line I got hooked, over the years I've built up 10 or so figures, but other IPs took priority so DC and Street Fighter were sadly the 2 that got the chop so the areas I was displaying them could be used for other things.

Nothing interesting, but I at last decided to get some display boxes, just some of those plastic handbag/shoe ones from amazon just as a cheaper, low commitment way instead of a proper cabinet. I am quite happy, my initial action figure purchasing restriction was to contain myself to just this part of desk space, so going vertical with these is a nice way to cheat whilst still confining myself (I had always intended to do it). Going to think about printing off some backdrops and maybe getting some kind of lighting.
>>
>>11739511
Yeah I (>>11742904) always did the same and, like you, really appreciate having them at hand, I play around with them all the time because of it. The boxes I got have easy access doors, so it's just a slightly more organised/protected way of keeping them in basically the same position, maybe they might suit you too.
>>
>>11742904
They do the job. I have a couple, and I should have gotten more when Walmart clearanced them.
>>
>>11742904
do they have any openings? The amazon basic ones look like they have holes in the back.
>>
>>11742938
The ones I got don't have any holes or anything to feed wires through if you meant for lights. They have doors though.
>>
>>11731273
I see you have a very cool Spider-Man/Venom display there. Where did you get the stand?
