what company makes the best fidget spinners these days? I'm thinking of getting one for my autism and ADHD.
>>
Do these actually help?

no

I just collect figures for my autism and ADHD, more fun than a fidget.

what would you recommend instead, then?
>>

medication, medication, therapy and sticking to a routine.
>>
Just get a Lego minifig that you like.
>Can move the arms
>Can move the legs
>Can rotate the hands and head
>Can pop on and off the head and legs

you kinda just have to grab any number of dedicated "fidget" toys and find the one that works for you. my friend swears by the worm/snake thing but personally I rely on pic related

>my autism and ADHD
>more fun
>fidget.
I collect due to my OCD.
Not an Autists so don't ever fidget.

Get a skill toy if you want to fiddle with stuff. You can easily penspin, manipulate coins, or play with begleri if you have a desk job.

"the worm snake thing"?
>>

They did help me. Maybe it's not the same for everyone but I did find them fulfilling.

Are these still a trend? I remember kids were obsessed with them like 7-10 years ago but though they had gone away.

you wanna hear about autistic fidget toys? lemmie show you something
geeone.com, basically gen z kids moved on from fidtgeet spinners to these insanely expenvie "edc" items that click and slide and stuff. looking through the catalogue here was a mind boggling experience for me, the amount of fucking weird toys is insane and they are CRAZY expensive. I ended up buying one last night and its a fidget 'slider' that a lot of people seem to worship because you can do tricks with it. anyways, it seems to be pure autism, but it also interested me because i was shocked by how in depth the... hobby scene for it seems to be , lotta devoted autists with a lotta money i guess
>>

i shouldnt say they 'moved on' from fidget spinners just, developed the hobby more in concept or something like that. there are loads and loads of spinners on that site
>>
>People spend 500 dollars on fidget toys
When does it become too stupid to buy? Like i want a fidget device that is a nicely machined piece of metal. but every time i look at the price of these, they are the same price as a nintendo switch or a steamdeck.
how do people actually cough up 200, 300, or even 500 on one of these things when you could just fucking fidget with a nice game controller.
>INB4 you cant autisticly play your handheld consoles at work.
I'm just expressing genuine concern for the stupidity of humanity. like why are they priced so high, and how can you even judge satisfaction spending 500 on a simplistic toy instead of a fucking gameboy? i mean i still want one, but no way in hell these can really be worth the same price as a computerized figet toy that can play thousands of games.
