I have good luck with Bandai so I will pre order a good looking figure. If the figure turns out to be shit, I will return it. If a figure looks like shit, then I won't order it. I care about the figures, Dragon Ball and smooth joints, not the company.

I also have that Cell and his QC was perfect for me. The height bothers me way more than it should but it sucks that his QC was bad. Different experiences, and I fully understand him giving him a one star. Loose figures are annoying. It's why I question that KW Perfect Cell in the first place because my Cell Jrs are loose. The figure itself with no QC problems is actually really well done. He just needs another set of feet and he needs to be a lot bigger. The leg extensions work but they should have done them on his thighs too. A good matte coat fixes the other issues.

It looks amazing for the price, but it is still after all a $20 dollar childs toy. this mixing in Dragonstars as "fill ins" on a display(I would also extend this to third party dogshit quality which is arguably worst because that shit costs almost as much if not the same price as a real figure) is just very low IQ behavior. I was doing that when I first started to get a bigger variety quickly, and as I got more I realized how dumb it is. Shelf Space is important. It just looks like slop to give it to a Dragonstars when you are primarily displaying SHF. Having that space be EMPTY and giving your SHFs more space to pose and have breathing room will make the display look nicer. You don’t need every fucking square inch of your shelf to be occupied. That is more low IQ behavior I see. Where all the figures are shoulder to shoulder just standing there packed in like sardines.

DF did a couple versions of this. I got the original before bandai came with the pearlescent one and I still prefer it. I really don't like the metallic paint they use for kaioken. They should save that for ees.
The only thing did like from the bandai one was the head, do i swapped. Looks better this way I think.

pretty much the same figure, but the blue is different. And the yellow box has matte hair with the blue box(newer one) as more metallic. The face print is way better on the blue box, but I think I honestly like the matte hair, lighter blue better on the original.

Either way I would hold out for the newer one coming out soon and see if thats better. I had both of those figures and no longer have either for what its worth. They arn't bad, but with a collection of like 50 figs I had to do some trimming and they just didn't cut it.
