Are you guys hyped for the reboot? I think this will be the best era of Thomas yet, and we’re even getting a video game! The toys look awesome, and Wooden Railway is rumored to return in 2027!

New giant Thomas, the part that opens is said to store "figures"
>>11730051>>11730063I hate the eyes.
>>11730051Why did you have to make a new thread you retarded shill?
>>11730122I think he's cute
We are so back
>>11730562neat, will pirate
>>11730562Nice, any footage?
Apparently the troublesome trucks are the main villains of the reboot not the diesels.
>>11730774
>>11730776Why's the face not the same perspective as the truck it should be attached to?
>>11730774Smug mf
>>11730836The Unlucky Tug said these are probably "unfinished" designs used on the box art because Mattel wanted to show something at toy fair. This reboot had 2 years of development starting around fall 2023.

>>11731597Unlucky Tug is a Mattel shill? I thought he was the best Thomas youtuber
>>11730575https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZJP0sxFhdI
>>11731666Beautiful
>>11730774>>11730776I never understood why some trucks or vehicles had faces and others didn't
>>11731598Something about Tug rubs me the wrong way. I still watch him for lore vids. For toys, it's Trainboy.
>>11732255What about SodorProductions? I watch him
Pulled out Toby, Lady, and Diesel 10 from Wooden Railway from storage and these Ebay prices are fucking ridiculous. Just to get Henrietta is running $30 on average!
>>11732901Why does wooden railway even exist? Seems like a waste to me, just do metal engines and motorized.
>>11731597I feel like, out of anyone to call a Mattel shill, Unlucky Tug would probably be the last pick on earth for that.
>>11732257Top tier shitposter and his stance on CGI era is based, but I don't bother watching his toy reviews because I can almost predict word for word what his complaints will be. Also I'm 90% sure he posts here.
>>11733049>90% sureHow so?
>>11730774He cute
>>11730051>not woodenNo, I am not hyped.
Anyone know what the deal is with the Oigawa Railway Thomas and friends real locos?Did they kind of just make a Thomas with the most suitable basis they had initially? And it kind of snowballed from there? They have a Thomas, James, Toby, and now Percy, all in that same sort of "style". They have a Hiro also but it's much closer to the actual character, even if they didn't use a D51 as the base.At first I thought yeah it's just the best they can do, like, these characters are MEANT to look as similar to the real characters, just working with what they have, but there's plenty of merchandise/toys featuring these actual designs specifically. I've never seen that with any other Day out with Thomas irl design. It's almost like they've accidentally created this style, and are now rolling with it.Don't get me wrong, I like how they look, I've grown to like it over time, but I'm just trying to figure out why they sort of acknowledge the characters not looking on model, where as every other irl Thomas/friends replica is still MEANT to look like the character, they just slap the face onto whatever suitable steam engine they have, they're never like "yeah this is the Australian Thomas, he's meant to look like that", it's always "this is meant to be Thomas, please overlook the incorrect details".
>>11734919They did it because of money. Thomas attracts more visitors than the real locomotives. They've always had a bad financial track record so it makes sense they're going to do the dowt stuff. They most likely chose those locomotives because that was probrably the only ones they had at the time that was fully operational.
