Need some Help identifying a weird McDonald's Item.Recently picked up what seems to be a McDonald's Compass Watch, supposedly given out as a birthday promo item. In my Case manufactured in Dreieich, Germany. It was made by Simon Marketing (aka Simon Worldwide). It's in very good Condition and even comes with the original Packaging.I’ve tried to find Info on it, but there’s basically Nothing — no Listings, no past Auctions, nothing Comparable. Only the one from which I bought. So I’m not sure if it’s actually super rare or if I’m just looking in the wrong Places.Does anyone here recognize this Thing? Were there multiple Versions of it?And do People even collect stuff like this?Pics attached. And yes, the Spelling is intentional :)
>>11739245Burger King and not McDonald's made watches as premiums in the early-to-mid 90s. The box even looks like one of theirs. That's probably one of theirs.
>>11739254Never mind I see the McDonald's emblem. Didn't see it the first time. Still check for 90s premium watches.
That's interesting. The Burger King Watches do look very similar, you're right. Thanks for the Try.
>>11739245>And do People even collect stuff like this? Most assuredly. You won't likely put the kids through school on it, but a collector might give you a few bucks. If I had to wager a guess, it was some kind of in-house promo item, not something the general public would have been offered.
are you stupid?forget this watch or bad things will happen
What initially make me think they were Burger King ebfore I noticed that McD emblem was the boxes. They're similar to the "Nightmare Before Christmas" watch boxes BK did.
You should post this on Reddit also, this will double the chances.
Another option would be to ask experts directly or ask YouTubers to make a video about the discovery
Bring back black watches.
