They’ve had their $4 flat rate shipping since their inception back in 1999… truly sad to see them have to increase it. Thankfully it’s not by much and the Pile of Loot system is still very much worth it.
>>
$2 isn’t much of an increase for batch shipping but this definitely will make ordering and shipping a single item a lot less appealing than competitors. I already really try to do all those kind of purchases off Amazon.

desu I'm surprised they hadn't increased it before now. Guessing because of tariffs
>>
>flooding the catalog with the same thread
It’s all so tiring

A first-class stamp was .33 when they opened. There's talk of taking them up to .95 next year. Postage rate increases, combined with the tariffs and all the assorted operating inputs, I'm surprised they kept it at $4 this long, too.

It sucks yeah, but paying $2 more once or twice a year is fine with me.
>>
Well once oil starts drying up it's going to be worse so buckle up.

One more reason to quit collecting. There are quite a lot now. I laugh at everyone who keeps saying, "Well X dollars more isn't much" for every increase on every line and every shipping charge and every tariff and tax. That shit adds up.
>>
>>11742966
Well this is the smallest increase. But you are not wrong. It's just getting ridiculous at this point.
>>
>>11742711
Not true. It used to be $5 flat. Then they went to the calculated shipping with $4 flat as an option.

Shows how fake this place is. It's a very slow board, very few match it, which means the 50 people that come here would ever believe that two people made the same thread without knowing the other already made it.

Let us know how that replacement battery charge tastes

Yeah seriously. Even if you don't struggle to afford it, just think about the savings you are losing. Maybe it doesn't matter to multimillionaires but I don't think there are many on the board and it's mainly larpers that love to call others poor for some reason.

I don't plan to quit, I do plan to deaccession large chunks of my collection, particularly characters, and focus the rest.
And yes, increasing cost is part of it.

Sweetie, come back when you have spent $300 on heads.

I'm not poor, I'm getting rid of shit because I don't want it, that's why it's called deaccession. It no longer serves a purpose or a need.

Learn some proper English if you plan to type in this language, and even better, get some Logical Thinking in your third world loser brain.
