All of Jada's output has been cartoony so far, what makes anyone think they could make good looking RE or DMC figures? I've no doubt they could do the articulation well at this point, but the aesthetic so far doesnt match up so I'm having a hard time picturing what they might look like. Netflix DMC almost seems more likely if they were to do any.

They already knew this version of Invicible wouldn't be as popular as the blue and yellow, which is why he's releasing first. Oliver, I'm not so sure, I don't think it'll do well, relatively at least. If they want to get to a lot of the relevant S4 characters they do need to hurry it up quite a bit. Battle Beast, Allen, Thaedus, Thragg, Nolan (in the S4 costume rather than the superhero outfit, which they'll get to later), more Viltrumites, and lots of others. They're looking like theyll be great, but what a slow rollout.

>>11767265I’m buddies with the one of the sculptors behind the Invincible line and I can actually give some insight as to why its been delayed so long: McFarlane Toys.It’s been a known licensing issue that most merchandise regarding Image Comics IP tends to fall into weird legal limbo, and because McFarlane did their Invincible line some time ago, they actually ran into some legal trouble regarding character usage, hence why these took so long to release. These figures were commissioned by Amazon after they saw the success in their Street Fighter line, but they were unaware of the deals between the former companies (Image and McFarlane).It’s the reason why Blue Suit Invincible is first as well. McFarlane is also super anal about quality control so if these weren’t up to snuff and didn’t sell well, they’d play their hand and try to strong arm Image into having the Invincible license revoked from Jada. It’s really shitty but that’s the rules I guess. As far as I’ve been told, the most sculpt/paint work from their last showcase is the final design, so they should be prepping them for retail soon. Mark & Oliver are aiming to retail for standard Jada price at about $25 or so, but Conquest is gonna be a bit pricier at about closer to mid $30 price range.

I already tell myself Jada has too many lines as it is, but maaan, part of me really hopes they someday manage to track down a license for Valve's games. HL+Portal, L4D, and TFC+TF2 figures would go so hard. Then again I'm just desperate for literally any Valve merch to start with. Used to be everywhere as a teen (to varying qualities), now it just suddenly all evaporated.

I was so excited back then when I saw Atlas & P-Body in stores that I immediately bought them, and the LEDs were so cool, but then Atlas's limb snapped almost immediately. They were my first Neca figures and I never bought another from them again.And yeah, these are ancient toys now and terribly aged. Awful articulation and the likenesses aren't quite there in many, like the TF2 ones.
