any chance they will reissue other sets too or what

Only other set I've ever heard of them re-issuing was Ground Dion, but that was planned around the same time as the Cloud Across release. Just basic business, sell more units of both over all. They will commonly release one or two recolors. But straight up reissues are rare
>>

oh well I hope the preorder numbers are overwhelming and they'll think about reissuing some of the most wanted sets.

They wont. the global economy is in shambles. And quite frankly Big Powered was a pretty lame ass set

>it's out

In term of design, it is good

But with the asking price I do wish it would be like $15~20 cheaper or something as it is not the "show" design but a spin off. I even take a $10.

Another good thing is that you can attached 3mm items like the stuff from 30mm. I have the 2 large rockets from one of the 30mm kits on.
It is a departure from the 5mm holes of the Gar line, but I think the streamline look and more intricate transformation having 5mm won't work.

The plastic feels glossy but the color are very rich and full (I don't know how to describe it).
Like how the white plastic with transformers usually is pale and almost transparent. Not this one. It almost looks like it is painted, but no, the white and blue are molded in color.

The transformation is very smooth. Though you need to follow the instructions very careful. They even have a separate piece of paper telling people to unbutton the crotch lock first.

8.5/10 for the somewhat unfriendly price and some really bad nub marks.

>That one french guy on YouTube who got the toy and for some reasons did not unlock the crotch before transformation

Ended up getting some more Toyrise AT's. It's honestly insane that it was cheaper to buy them in a set locally than importing. Had a store do a bundle of RSC, the Melkia Scopedog and Turbo Custom for $90. A bit annoying since I already had a RSC, but oh well.

Won't be able to crack them open until next week or so, but I heard good things about the Melkia and TC compared to RSC so I hope they don't suffer from any issues.

Toyrise Scopedog reviews (RSC, Melkia and TC.

Neat little figures, but they have their quirks.

Articulation is pretty decent, arms can stretch out horizontally, biceps swivel, elbows bend has 90, ball jointed hands (weapon holding hands have a pivot added), weird waist swivel with an ab crunch, hips can rock forward a bit, and have forward and back motion (limited side motion though). Knees are double jointed and feet can go forward and back thanks to the carrier gimmick.

The Res Shoulder Custom includes a standard heavy machine gun, Gatling gun, solid shooter (the weapon on the arm), rocket launcher and SSM launcher. The paint on them is really good and it's clear they did this to impress initial adopters to this line, since later releases don't use much paint in comparison. Now on to the issues, the SSM launcher (twin missile launcher on the abdomen) has an awful connection, possibly one of the worst I've seen, it essentially uses a tiny post to connection to the torso, but it falls off at the slightest touch (this is also an issue with the Turbo Custom), the backpack connection is also crazy tight and the hooks don't have enough clearance to attach properly, without shaving down the blue, unpainted section of the backpack. The galling gun also struggles to connect to both the torso and backpack, even if the backpack is properly connected. Meanwhile, the heavy machine gun and many bits are on sprues and some of these are painted, meaning you'll need to fix these paint blemishes yourself. Finally, the hook that goes on the right knee is very thin, hard to cut from the sprue and it's very easy to stress out trying to fix the nub (the TC version tries to fix this... with mixed results). Joints are also slightly on the loose side, mostly under the torso, and the waist articulation is weird, because of the abcrunch, it can't turn without the waist moving forward, which is annoying.
>>
>>11777887

On to the Melkia model, this version inclues a parachute pack, 30mm heavy machine gun, long gun and 50mm pentatrooper. Going a bit more indepth on the mold itself compared to th previous section the mold has a number of features:

-Back with the hooks can be removed
-back of the abdomen is removable (this also causes problems with the waist missile launcher)
-sides of the leg can be removed
-There's a maintenance hatch on the abdomen you can open up.
The sides of the leg feature a piston you can lower, these are used in the show to anchor the unit to the ground when firing weapons and more experienced pilots can use them for quick turns or dodging while in high-speed combat.
-It's hard to move, but the wheel on the foot can move
-All acopedog models include ammo cartridges than can be stored on the hips skirts, from what I remember the thin cartridges are ammo used for the piston punch.

Some are removable so you can reach the screws if you want to do maintenance or parts swapping, all have some detail underneath and give you a chance to display the toy while it's being repaired or in maintenance. Joints are also tighter, but the paint issues are still present since all weapons are on sprues for this variant.
>>
>>11777889
Finally, on to the Turbo Custom. Accesories include a 7-tube missile launcher, mortar, arm machine gun, Gatling gun and 2-tub missile launcher, and for hand held weapons a standard and compact 30mm heavy machine gun, a 4 tube rocket launcher and 60 mm solid shooter bazooka bazooka (this toy includes two different back designs for the bazooka, you're meant to use the unique model that's painted, not the standard one). This version has a unique leg design under the knees, and hidden on the back are two rollers with rockets that can be deployed for faster movements and a blitzkrieg. The wheel on the extra roller can move. Unlike the RSC, this one has a backpack and Gatling that fit securely, but the abdomen missile launcher still falls off at the slightest touch. Unlike the two previous models many small pieces are now added to the Scopedog, the only parts you have to add are now the handle bar for the abdomen and the bar for the knee. A minor thing about this version, is that all Scopedogs use two shades of plastic due to one plastic being used for joints so there's slight color variation, but for some reason, the difference is plastic is very notable on the TC, with most of it using dark green, while the joints almost use a brownish green color.

While not a huge issue, the knees on the other scopesdogs have a notable lock for the carrier mode, you need to extend the lower leg to unlock it, but on this model there doesn't seem to be a lock and it's all friction. Finally, this variant has a new bar added for the right knee with different placement for the nub and much thinner so you can clean it up easier, but there's one problem, it doesn't actually fit, at all, you need to mod it slightly to get it to sit properly.

All in all, I like them, but I don't recommend spending over 30 on them, the qc issues, sprues, and fixed pilot figures make these a hard sell at full price.

Brave wank is dead, especially since Metal Cardbot is literally doing updated versions of the different Brave characters, better that Takara ever could.
>>
>>11781252
Okay do the cardbot have anything to do with modularity in this thread like toyrise and its 3mm and 5mm joints or are you just retarded?
>>
Remember the Customize Material EX Joint Core Cube set from Bandai? Has anyone tried fitting those on the Advanced Zi Liger Zero Phoenix just to make the more lore-accurate version? Or those cubes are too small for them? See, I've been thinking of using those as replacements for Blox parts, and if these parts are too small for Advanced Zi, this might work for Realize Model instead, since they have to finish developing the Liger Zero Falcon soon for me to test this theory.
>>
>>11781491
I stand corrected. Guess this means I can only use these with Realize Model. I'm watching, Takara Tomy. Please roll out the Zero Falcon as soon as possible.
>>
>>11781322
Toyrise is shit and Takara knows it so they throw in those 3mm and 5mm just to try and get idiots like yourself to buy their substandard crap.
>>
>>11781502
Z Builders/blox was hands down the best Zoids line they ever made, and I will trade fisticuffs with any windup fags that disagree. Makes me a little sad that the line just fell on it's face in the west. I only ever saw the 1st two waves in stores, and those basically went into the clearance section because no one was buying them. I recently dug out a bag of old zoids cube builder sets from storage. I'm kinda mad at myself that I didn't leave all the pieces together. IIRC, I pulled the actual cubes and some of the other pieces with 3mm pegs/holes out to use for diaclone accessories. So those are probably boxxed up with one of my diaclone sets that I will need to dig out... Maybe the TM carrier set?

Not sure if these are compatable with the newer Phoenix set, but the blocks look kinda identical. You might be able to grab a set off of ebay or etc, if you just want more building blocks
>>
>>11782292
The new Blox on the AZ Zoids are identical in dimensions to the originals, despite the stylized designs and the hexagon border that make a more solid fit. Ergo, the Bandai Joint Core Cubes are still smaller than the new Blox, so it might as well be Realize Model-scaled instead.
>>

This seems to take all the worst parts about X-1 and amplify them. It's way too busy, you'd need a stand even if they redid the pelvis to add ratchets and Battles 1 no longer has the arm putge gimmick, so swapping arms will be a pain in the ass once everything's equipped. At least this version includes the support craft by default, that's one point over X-1.
>>
>>11784470
They are as solid as a high end transformer, but are way too overpriced. Even in Japan, the main complaint for the Toyrise line are the absurd prices.

I remember checking reviews and for stuff like the Gaogaigar's everyone was singing praises over how simple they are and that they're fun to mess around with, but are way too expensive when compared to the high end product version.
>>
>>11784470
I though the first T-spark releases seemed a little over priced, but I attributed that o the fact that TT was hard pivoting into licensed collectibles. But I'm beginning to think it's a bit of a corporate ponze scheme, where more people siphon off more money at every level. I mean, this shit is the same cost as the new over designed and over priced Dia battles, with far less accesories

I recently got an X-1 for cheap, and I agree. It's not bad, but it does feel overloaded with all these accesories. Not including the support craft by default was also a mistake, the AI craft just aren't as fun, and a number of combinations feel lacking compared to v2.

Liking the space variant so far, especially over x-1. The only part I wish they omit was the bottom booster for battles 01 (it wasn't even there in the grey prototype) but they pretty much got rid of the excess parts. Definitely like what they are doing with mech mode and how the guns are still being held by the hand in its alt mode.
