Are there any cool original new toylines these days, not based on any other IP? Like original things like GI Joe and He-Man but from the last 20 years.
It's mostly down to just these four>Goojitzu>Armorsaurs>Ninjombies>Mr Beast Beast Labs
>>11762936This is a weird question. Like a chicken or the egg thing. If an entertainment company or toy company created a tv show or movie just to sell toys, isn't that basically creating the IP? It's always been the same ages ago and mostly the same now. Unless there's a tv show or movie or video game, action figures almost never get made since retailers are too afraid to take the risk. >>11762936Armorsaurs show was created by the toy company making the toys. Mr Beast has been a well known brand for years before the toys so I think those two kind of qualify as being IP attached.
>>11762927If you're looking for Street Sharks in particular, I suggest Fury Toys.
Anon delivers.
>>11762927Yes.

>>11762936>GoojitzuGood one
Does copycats count as based upon other IP
>>11763019these are fucking terribleIt's like somebody designed characters and the other guy at the very last minute sad "naaah...just copy paste realistic shark head from google images"there is no design in thisalso those articulation points look super ugly here
>>11762927Are you talking like little kid lines? Because there's tons, >>11762936 pointed out a few, there's also the Metal Cardbot stuff, and I'm sure there's plenty more if you ever browse any toy section for five minutes. But I don't really follow kids stuff, more into "collector" oriented stuff, which again, there is tons of. From stuff like Mythic Legions, AWOK, Savage Crucible, and all those other fantasy based lines, all of Boss Fight's stuff, Plunderlings, Valaverse, and Legendari's Meta Travelers are just hitting BBTS and all of this is ignoring all the crazy stuff coming out of Chinese companies. You really need to be more specific in what you want outside of "cool original new toyline" because there's tons of out there.
>>11762936>Mr Beast Beast LabsNot an original IP(nor an original idea, as well).
Thought these were neat.
>>11763278I dig em. They're grotesque and realistic in a stop motion-y way, it appeals to a core aesthetic for me. Not even sure what specifically it is.
>>11763284For collectors, but hopefully not whale-priced
>>11763383You'll be looking in the sub-100 range then. Lots of interesting things.
