That's certainly fair and all, when the show was first coming out the look of the show wasn't jiving with me. But once I got into it, I liked it and appreciate how well it stands out.

That first wave of playmates figures was great though. Splinter sucked, but still. I remember pulling the case off the truck at TRU and checking them all out. That was back when they sent casesof like, 24? It was a lot.

no, the head proportions are wrong. I'd have to make abrand new head, and then there'd be no room with the narrow shoulders.. I've never customized a full figure before, if you cut open a figure's torso, split it in half at the top, is it usually... doable to pull two upper torso pieces apart and like, epoxy them into place, and have still-functional shoulders just wider? his beard would cover any neck-hole issues anyway.

The thing about those TMNT figs are they're Packed in all new boxes and have never been sold at any other retailer or online stores. Like the single packed Punk Leo. There's no outlet where you can buy it or had it on preorder. Just ROSS stores. So something is going on over at NECA regarding these TMNT.
