So who will be making the more kid friendly TMNT figures since playmates lost the license? Is there any media to support a new toyline?
I'm really tempted to give in and grab some of the s7 stuff off of bbts. I'm no fan of there's but how else can I get an ace or krang etc etc
>>
>>11783675
>So who will be making the more kid friendly TMNT figures since playmates lost the license?
Mattel, starting in January
>>
>>11783676
Mattel won't make any money since the world is collapsing
>>
>>11783677
Ah, here comes our little ray of sunshine.
>>
>>11783680
Sorry, did you want to stick your head in the sand?
>>
>>11783675
mattel is currently showing everyone else its still possible to make good and cheap toys for kids with the motu movie line, i think tmnt will be safe in their hands there
the real issue is they don't have a great track record with collector toys outside of wrestling
>>
>>11783726

The Street Sharks line was good.
>>
How's super7? Bbts is having a fire sale of tmnt and there's some stuff I've been wanting.
>>
>>11783755
It was not. It was terrible, there's a reason it got cancelled.
>>
>>11783758
They’re great at full price, so even better on a discount.
>>
>>11783758

I got Ace Duck and Metalhead. They're pretty good.
>>
>>11783771
>They’re great at full price
Lol, no. There's only like, three figures that would be worth full price.

>even better on a discount.
They are only good on discount.
>>
>>11783776
This but NECA
>>
>>11783786
Nope, NECA's way, way better
>>
>>11783776
This. Super7 is mostly okay to very bad. Wingnut, Muckman, and a couple others are the only gems. The whole line is kind of shockingly outdated and makes you wonder if Super7 really ever understood how to make an action figure. Worse still when you consider how much time has passed from wave 1 to 12.

I have bought a grand total of 4 Super7 Ultimates figures. 2 of them had QC issues. Even at 70% off, you're still taking a gamble.
>>
>>11783758
I just saw how cheap BBTS is selling a bunch of these for...yeah, go to town. At fucking $11-$13 a pop? You're fine. The hips will probably be loose, especially on the larger figures, but you can load up pretty easily for prices that low. They're practically giving them away now.
>>
>>11783802

Oh damn. Removable helmet?
>>
This is what I got.
>>
>>11783837
You should be pretty happy with that haul.
>>
>>11783838
I'm going to put the turtles in time around my tmnt arcade. If they still have robot bebop and rocksteady I might get those as well. I always wanted mutagen and muck man.
>>
>>11783683
In or out, it's happening all the same.
might as well at least enjoy the nice calming sounds of cool, moist earth before they start taxing it
>>
>>11783758
I'm a fan, but QC is an issue. Check all of their joints right away, and demand replacements for any broken ones before those are gone.
I'm really, really hoping that with Playmates slain, S7 classic Ultimates will return again, but if not.. Iunno, I've had a weird desire to try making them myself
>>11783776
yeah I have to agree here. I spent an average of 35 each for these guys, and that's what they're worth. Aside from a few little flaws.
>>
>>11783802
I think my mom had those exact pants
>>11783812
yeah plus they can be tightened up

what can't easily be tightened is the inner torso joint, which is the real problem. But that's only on the turtles and metalhead. Slash and most other characters are totally fine in that regard.
>>
>>11783837
ahhh you're more a fan of the toon/game side of things. You made good choices, mutagen man and muckman fit just fine around those.
Slash has to be a weird case of both S7 and Neca Arcade Line being identically awesome.
>>
>>11783614
I'm really torn as to whether or not I should grab the remastered 6 pack or just wait on whatever mattel has cooking
>>
i wonder why bugman never got a classic toy. I realize they kinda stopped adding shit from the show at a certain point, but he fits that oeuvre so well.
>>
>Playmates ends its ~40 year tenure by packaging the half of the iconic villain duo it bothered to make with a lazy repaint and charging a premium for it
I look forward to the monthly bankruptcy threads
>>
>>11783676
>>11783726
Ah, so maybe the TOG was a trial run? I skipped the turtles themselves but I did buy the footclan aka bad guys and I thought they worked well with my origins collection. Between motu, TMNT, DC and the terribly over looked were superstars line I may need to just buy a share of mattel stock instead of the figures.

You mentioned collector focused lines and wwe and while I only have a couple the WWE elite stuff is really good and you could call it excellent for the $30-$40 they usually run for. You guys might want to check out the wacky ass artist collaboration figures they done, it's uhm, it's unique I guess. I'd rather have a fan designed line than an artist line but thatd likely suck too.

Basically it's Playmates arguing
>Noooo, you can't take the TMNT license from us! It's integral to our brand, if we lose it we'll go out of business! You shouldn't be able to give it to someone else because we're synonymous with the brand!
Meanwhile pic related is Paramount.
>>
>>11784736
i assume they are trying to keep all the rights to their vintage designs at the very least so mattel can't just copy the idea of S7's ultimates at a better price point
>>
>>11784792
Gotta love such an underhanded, cheapskate company suddenly bawwwing that someone else is using legal means to diminish their business.

mattel needs to give a big thumbs up to super7 just out of spite. "here, here's all the playmates designs, go nuts"
>>
>>11784813
oh yeah the ones sculpted by.. *checks notes* Mattel. well, ex-Mattel anyway
>>
>>11784736
Best case scenario is that Playmates works out a deal with Paramount that would allow Mattel to claim the master toyline license to make any modern/new Turtles figures but Playmates would still be able to sell their classic re-releases.
>>
>>11784844

Man, I hope.
>>
I bought an embarrassing number of super7 turtles at full price (including the party wagon). Ah well.
>>
>>11784844
>Playmates works out a deal with Paramount
That clearly is not going to happen. Playmates is acting like a pussy bitch like they have for the last several years. They're going to get their shit stomped hard.
>>
>>11784944
Weird thing is, it doesn't even say what they're hiring the lawyers for. Might be something incredibly minor and trivial for all we know.
>>
>>11784844
That is absolutely NOT going to happen
>>
>>11784844
why would you bother taking the master license from someone just to continue letting them boss you around on its use?
>>
>>11784813
Likely this. It's not like how Kenner got absorbed into Hasbro so now they can remake the Kenner designed figures. I would still prefer playmates retain the license for the vintage stuff and continue re-releasing them. Even if it's online only so as not to compete with Mattels toy section. Just cant make new TMNT figures of products.
>>
>>11785089
Completely unlikely that. They aren't going to be allowed to do jack shit. This is purely Playmates seeing how fucked they are and panicking.
>>
>>11784951
>https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:share:7458564328837890048/
more than likely its to do with the star trek line
>>
>>11785105
Oh. False alarm then.
>>
>>11785089
why? why not have mattel do it
they'll do it more competently.
>>
>>11784813
>>11784831
>>11784792
>>11785089
They're going to have a hard time arguing it, when the designs have appeared in other media and been made by Super7 and Loyal Subjects, and also by Mondo among orhers. Brian Flynn said that they had that loophole when Playmates still had the license. So if a particular design appeared in a game, or comic, or an advertisement, etc., it meant that they could argue that the design was based off the game Shredder's Revenge or somewhere else. Paramount will likely argue tooth an nail that it's their IP, and they own the designs, which is usually the case, but TMNT may be trickier regarding how the rights were handled.
>>
>>11785123
I wish they had used that loophole more. There were so many they could have made without compromising the Ultimates line.
They also could have hired four horsemen to do like, their Karai etc. to make her look a lot better.
hell they almost gave us a rat king that looked like Shredder's Revenge, so why not Karai from there? but as an ultimates. She looked great in that. So did Mona Lisa.
>>
>>11785123
Im talking about straight making vintage figures just as the way playmates made them. That's why I used the Kenner Hasbro comparison. Hasbro make Star wars figures in the same exact style as the original Kenner ones. Hasbro even make new SW characters in the same Kenner retro style. And the Ghostbusters retro remakes as well. They were designed by Kenner and Hasbro just replicated it and rereleased them in the retro card line, like the recent Fright Features figures. Playmates is likely trying to keep their vintage style of tmnt figures, vehicles, and playsets designs that they've made. Mattel would be free to make any of the vintage characters for their tmtn line but can't copy playmates style of figures unless it's a newer character playmante has never made a figure for, like Tempestra or Lord Dregg from the Red Sky seasons.
>>
>>11785220
and why would anyone agree to this?
it sounds like what you really want is for mattel to buy playmates, which at this point, why would they? it's dead. let it die on the vine. they had every opportunity to use the turtles to fuel great advancements, and instead, they behaved like Gamefreak. "bare minimum, whatever, this shit prints money"
>>
>>
>>11785123
>They're going to have a hard time arguing it
The argument is that they have decades of steel production moulds that they spent a lot of money on and become useless for them if they're not able to retain the license to produce them, and the lack of income from not being able to sell them is detrimental to their operations. Then you also go after the shareholders and imply that because your brand is so synonymous with the Ninja Turtles IP that it becomes a tricky legal loophole with certain characters designed and created by them that may put them in legal liability to use. And you imply that the fandom may turn against buying products from a new manufacturer because they're so used to Playmates making the toys thay they might find the Mattel figures unappealing. There's plenty of legal implications they can bring to court to at the very least convince the judge to move the two companies to arbitration, and my thought was what I was saying I feel would be the best outcome of that.
>>
>>11785288
first of all, no they don't. they've started self-bootlegging because those old molds are dinosaur bones.
secondly, they have proven their absolute incompetence at doing any of what you're saying they feel they have the right to do. Paramount owns the brand, lock, stock, and barrel, so..
they'd be better off doing what all other big companies do and just bribe the judge

>>
I think the brand is at an ultimate low point. You have to make a hit show or movie once every 2 or 3 decades. We're kind of running on fumes here, let's be honest.
>>

I'm okay with milking the past while we wait for the economy to either collapse or improve.

I tried getting the remastered rocksteady off of amazon this morning since it said it was available again for the first time since i found out about the set last saturday, but it wouldnt let me order it before it sold out again. I had such a freak out over it i wrote playmates toys a hate mail letter over it and here it is

>I keep trying to purchase the remastered rocksteady figure off of amazon but it keeps selling out or is unavailable every time because you cant make sufficient enough stock to put on amazon. But playmates toys has been incompetent with the turtles license for years now considering all of the figures your company needlessly cancelled despite showing off at toy fairs and comic cons such as the creep, ice cream kitty, savanti romero, bio-troid, the tales of the tmnt muckman, and reissue scratch amongst other. Its because of this amateurish mishandling of the brand is why i am so overjoyed that playmates toys is losing the ninja turtles license by the end of this year. Your company deserves to suffer for not only making it so hard to obtain your figures but also because of all the action figures you teased fans with but ruthlessly cancelled for no good reason at all. It is an overwhelming catharsis to see your company finally get karmic justice after all this time for all the mishaps and poor distribution and other assorted cheap copouts youve dealt TMNT figures with over the years by finally having the turtles license revoked and taken from you. Playmates toys deserves to rot in bankruptcy for all of this. Fuck you all.

I am so fucking angry i cant get rocksteady in yet but ive been mad at playmates toys for years so it was just a entire deluge of years of pent up bile against them i siphoned into that email.

Probably not. Motu origins seems to be on its way out. Im fucking pissed mattel keeps dragging their feet on releasing two bad still.
>>
>>11787703
That sounds perfect. i'm pretty sure that's when I got started on TMNT. I was born in '85 and I don't think I was THREE when I got them, I think the show had been on for like a year (keeping in mind the '87 label is just the PILOT, the show started proper in '88, right?), the toyline had been out for like a year, I could still get SOME of the first waves, but I was also getting like Wacky Action turtles as some of my first turtles, so I think I was 4. and I had a lot of trouble getting weapons into hands, because I lacked the hand strength.

Origins isn't a collector's toy. It's a kid's toy with a collector's price. Only 50+ year old neckbeards are buying them, and they'll be retiring and selling off their collections soon.

Origins has no future, which is why Mattel is attempting to reboot the franchise with the new movie and Core line.

I don't have the Origins one yet, so I'm guessing it has roughly the same build as the rest of the line, just on the larger torso.
They both look really nice, so it's all down to what you want from them. If you like the Origins line and build, get that one. If you want a 6.5" figure with more modern articulation like ball jointed torso, double knees and elbow, and butterfly shoulder (his robot arm lacks a butterfly and double elbow) go for the Chronicles. I plan on getting both because he was one of my faves when I was a kid.
But if the Chronicles line is any indicator for what to expect from Mattel when they start making Turtles figures, it's a good sign.

n this episode, Pat Linden of Playmates Toys outlined several retro re-release initiatives for the final year of the current TMNT license. Here is a summary of the classic/retro product announcements discussed:

Military Figure Four-Pack (12:18 - 14:40)

Re-releasing the original military-themed turtles from circa 1990.
Will be a Target exclusive four-pack.
Includes a modernized, slightly larger parachute with extra clips for better "floating" action.
Turtle Tank (15:26 - 17:21)

A complete re-tooling of the classic vehicle to match original specs, colors, and labels.
Packaging will feature artwork similar to the original 80s/90s release.
Expected on shelves by early August.
Classic Figure Reissues (20:41 - 21:46)

A "soft bundle" set featuring Antrax, Worm, Usagi Yojimbo, and Scale Tail.
These are already available as an online-only release via Amazon.com and Walmart.com.
Remastered Two-Pack (27:36 - 28:35)

A new two-pack featuring a remastered Raph and Rocksteady.
Includes a diorama-style package that transforms into a display shelf.
"Cowabunga Forever" Line (28:50 - 30:5

A final series of releases expected in late fall (November).
Includes four two-packs: Bebop/Rocksteady, Foot Soldier/Shredder, and the original four turtles.
These will feature the original sculpts with enhanced decoration/deco schemes.
Movie Five-Pack (29:10 - 31:21)

A collector's five-pack featuring the four turtles and Super Shredder.
Will feature updated, special decoration compared to the originals.
>>
Of course, this doesn't include the normal remastered Rocksteady, so this apparently isn't everything.
>>
>>11789525

The fact that there is no scratch reissue listed at all makes me glad playmates toys is gonna go out of business once they lose turtles. They should've made him YEARS ago, way before usagi or antrax which already got a wide release in the 90s. Fuck playmates

>you really like him, huh?
He has a cool as fuck designed and i mostly prefer villain figures anyways and scratch is a bit gaping hole in my TMNT villains collection. Ive wanted the OG figure from 1993 for years now but hes so damn expensive. Thats why i was so hyped at the prospect of a reissue for scratch but thats probably never gonna happen now.
>>
>>11789547
The figure sucks anyway
>>
>>11789553

I dunno, the same guy who leaks everyone else hinted at a scratch and Hot Spot reissue, so ya never know.

>>
Do people really hate the mismatched feet that much? Or is it one guy? Hard to tell here sometimes.
>>
>>11789621
I think its cool but ive seen the same complaint for years now desu. Alot of people really dont like the 1992-93 mutants
>>

>>
>>11789612
now now
>>
>>11789621
I never really hated it but its kind of overused in the vintage line, its like every mutant character is supposed to be mid-transformation or something.
>>
>>11790678
yeah it's.. it's odd. and then they often had one animal-colored human hand and one mutated hand..

It's one thing to have Baxter Stockman who has a fun body-horror aspect to him, a lot of the old guys had that. But these looked silly and cartoonish. Clearly a different group. and considering their themes started going equally cartoony (haha, fireman dalmatian.. haha basketball giraffe) instead of actually cool violent mutants.. eh..
I like Walkabout. a lot. But that era had a lot of losers.

at least 'scimitar-wielding arab' is a fun kinda violent character. Give him matching hands and feet, and I'd be into it. even better if he had a keffiyeh on instead of that fez, but I guess a fez suits a camel better. Also camel necks can be really furry like beards, that also would have helped with his look

man that makes me want a super7 Al-Falqa. He'd have to be decently tall.. That makes the prospect of a custom kinda hard. plus they missed out giving him human-shaped feet, bird feet are way cooler. but at least his match!

The weirdest one is Hothead. He's 99% straight up Shogun dragon, but then he's got this weird green boot for no reason. It's like at the last second, the supervisor saw that he only had a mismatched bracer and told the sculptor "no, you MUST make it MORE assymetrical."
>>
>>11790773
That one is pretty egregious.
>>
>>11790818
The worst part is that according to his bio, he's not even a mutant. He's a fireman that got magically turned into a samurai dragon genie. The "not quite fully mutated limb" excuse doesn't even make sense with him.

he has some other odd choices, as I pointed out in the customs thread when I was blithering about possibly turning this spare gargoyle body into Chu Hsi (or did I do that in here? or maybe both) who is like 90% the same guy..
dragons are known for their moustaches, and sometimes beards, but to give him the goatee and then.. like a mouth-corners moustache? that is odd to the max.
Are Hothead's hands mismatched too?

>Chu Hsi
Can't remember if you did it here or in the custom thread, but I remember.
They might as well be the same guy. They both have the "fireman turned into a dragon by magic" origin story.
>Are Hothead's hands mismatched too?
I thought the only asymmetry was the bracer on his right wrist, but the right hand has 5 digits while the left has the more dragonish claw hand with 4 digits.
Easier to see in this pic.

When did you guys tap out on the Playmates figures as kids? I remember getting the Tatu sumo guy when I was 9 or 10 and I think that was my "ah fuck this" moment. I still liked tmnt, but I could see the writing on the wall. Third movie was probably the nail in the coffin.
>>
>>11790925
Wow, yeah, Tattoo was definitely one of my last. I remember thinking he was kinda neat, good to get..
also got one of the supermutants from the anime because that seemed way cooler and more like the power rangers shit I was now into. The old figures just seemed less cool. but I gave Next Mutation a shot before giving up on it.

I remember when the Super Turtles and Armored Metal Turtles came out and wanted them so bad. But Ronin Warriors also came out that year so I aske for a Cale figure for Xmas. Was also big into EXO Squad so birthday was all EXO Squad.

I mean we couldn't get fruit snacks because those were too expensive, and I grew up and found out YEAH. they fucking are. They're just fruit and candy, and you can buy fruit and candy, separately, for cheaper. Which we did.
>ronin warriors toys
weren't those fuckin BITCHIN? we didn't care about the tiny heads with smoothed-down hair, it was just so fun to be able to put the helmets on them.
I always wondered how they possibly did the guy who links his swords together end to end to make a whip. turns out they just didn't.

If anyones interested walmart put a bunch of their collector figures in clearance to make way for a new batch of figures in the collector section and i got neca archie wingnut and screwloose for 18$ today.
>>
>>11791646
Saw the black and white shredders for $14 at mine. Im gonna check the other walmart that had the Shredder 2 pack comic and see if theyre clearing them out. They also got the og turtles still because Randy decided to put red bandanas on them instead of like the original sketches kevin and peter did. They might actually be below $35 now.
>>
>>11791764
>They also got the og turtles still because Randy decided to put red bandanas on them instead of like the original sketches kevin and peter did.
What did the original sketches have for the color of the bandannas?
>>
>>11791374
Finally realizing you gotta hookem at the age of 3-4 when kids first gain sentience. Older kids are too brainrotted now to get TMNT. They're too old to be targeted to become fans of TMNT. Focus on toddlers and 80 manchildren clinging to the dead world we used to live in.
>>
>>11791771
you couldn't have it more backwards
>>
>>11791766
>What did the original sketches have for the color of the bandannas?
Kevin and Peter were so broke at the time they couldn't afford color inks so all their art were done in black line art. NECA Randy saw those art and said it was missing something and he thought he could do better than Kevin and Peter so he slapped red all over the figures representing the first ever Ninja Turtle art Peter and Kevin did. And now they sit rotting at Walmart collector section because tru TMNT fans did not accept Randy's abominations.
>>
>>11791866
You are technically correct on the mask color issue as far as I know, but the figures are generally lame and undesirable on a more fundamental level and would have met the same clearance fate either way.

The real issue is that the black and white ones should have been exclusives. The mass market would have gobbled up the green ones.

>>
>>11793032
You're so adorably stupid and wrong. No, the black and whites being the mass release makes the most sense since that's what people will associate with the whole point of the figures.

>>11793254
Nah, you're a fucking moron. The figures sold out over and over when Walmart got them first. Sorry you live in a shithole town, but they did sell really well. They're a more niche release and it's great that they were available at mass retail for everyone.

No. Only comic nerds care about shit like that. You know, the kind of people that go to SDCC, which is where the black and white ones should have been exclusive to. Walmart customers like bright colors, which is why Mountain Dew has a bright green label. NECA got it ass backwards.
>They're a more niche release and it's great that they were available at mass retail
They keep filling mass retail stores with niche shit, and then they wonder why so much of their shit ends up at Ross or gets sent back to them to end up in a mystery box. Only someone with a double digit IQ would try to spin it the way you have.
>>
>>11793323
Yawn, your stupidity is doing you no favors. NECA did it right and all you can do is cry about it like a baby. Those Walmart customers bought the set up, so you were proven wrong before you decided to shitpost.

And retards like you whine and cry when they won't do new niche things. But oh, I guess it's only the right thing to do when it's what YOU want, hm? This is why you are a basement dweller and why you'll never work in toys. Run along child.

I had a friend who really wanted this figure. Guy didn't collect that many toys, had his Michaelangelo and some villains and such. He wanted this pretty bad, at like 9-10 years old. He never found it. It's stupid to be it was short packed as it was. People loved the additional mutant guys. I fully agree playmates should have jumped on this. They'd have made a killing re-releasing it.

So wait even back at the time when scratch originally came out he was nearly impossible to get? That fucking sucks. I wasnt even alive for that time period but i have wanted scratch for years ever since i got into TMNT more and saw his figure online
>It's stupid to be it was short packed as it was.
Oh totally, they should have released more of him. Short packing certain characters is beyond fucking stupid especially because alot of times the figures i desire the most end up being the figures getting short packed cuz i really dig the weird monsters or super villain characters and the heroic main characters almost always get packed into cases in way more units then the cooler villains. Playmates is fucking retarded, and i hope to fuck scratch does get reissued still before the year is out but im not holding my breath.

Also semi off topic but do you still known your old childhood friend? What kind of toys were you and him into besides tmnt?
>>
>>11794311
I do buy shit online if i cant find it/miss a preorder but i hate having to use ebay as a last resort. I shouldnt have to pay rape prices for something that should have had wider distribution around me and be more easily obtainable overall. It feels like admitting defeat having to buy it a recently released figure on the secondary for an extra amount also it negates the immediate gratification i get from finding a toy in a actual store. And the mail takes way to long to ship and deliver my packages especially within the past few years so its enraging having to wait for something even more then I already had to through the lazy halfassed post office system.

TMNT was on it's way out. I remember my friend was really into Calvin and Hobbes like me, so he wanted this psycho cat character. It was a combo of the two for us. I wanted the figure too, but I knew if I saw it, he wanted it so much more. I remember looking for it for him and never seeing it. I think I was into street sharks at the time...what a mistake for me.... Collectors got older and looked for him on ebay and cons and such over the years and his demand steadily climbed while the supply was low. I think he only went for like 20 bucks in 1999.

Scartch isn't some amazing mold or character, he's just a combo people don't hate and others love. Didn't they only make some 20 or so mutated enemies and allies?

I lost touch with that friend, he got into drugs and drinking. Probably depression over never being able to find Scratch. (Im joking) I was the toy collector. I remember he watched this show MTV downtown or something, said guy in it was me, cause he was a toy collector. He had some, but random, he just liked certain characters. He'd get a captain america or a digimon. We both had Toy Story stuff too.

This comment is so daft I'm having trouble understanding it. Could you elaborate? Did you somehow crawl into my mind and decipher how I plan on making this custom to where it doesn't meet your threshold for "Being it"? Like, give me some feedback here.

My god I hate scalpers
>>
>>11796722

Is this really all he comes with? Not even his gloves or alternate hands?
>>

Yes, he has alternate hands.

Are any of those going to include his gloves?

I'll admit as satisfying as it's going to be when PM folds without their bread and butter license, it's going to be kinda depressing knowning there likely won't be other companies willing to get the toy license for things other companies don't want.
I mean Dungeon Crawler Carl? What the fuck is that?
>>
>>11796889
I don't know until we see the actual figure packout. I know we're at the point where all the tariffs and costs rising is affecting figure loadouts, and they said they had to cut some accessories before.
>>
Didn’t they say they were going to look at soft goods for 2012 Splinter? Did they just give up on that? Because from the promo pics it looks like he’s not gonna be able to pose much at all.
>>
>>11796959
Nnnnoooo, no they never said that.
>>
I checked out Ross the other day and found they're stocked with Neca figures

That's not really stocked.

any of you got the joytoy turtles? How small are they really?
>>
>>11794509
How deep discounted you think these will get?
>>
>>11796885
is that... really how he was drawn in the show?

tariffs do not affect domestic product. any company claiming otherwise is trying to use the bullshit nonsense they're bribing politicians to do, to excuse higher prices.
>>
>>11797135
>tariffs do not affect domestic product
Thanks for stopping by and dropping that you are an idiot and are very, very blind to the world around you
>>
>>11796815
Where? Only places I am seeing them still in stock are EE and BBTS where they charge extra for them. So one or two fig that you want wont be bad but if you want all of them you're way better off waiting. NTA btw. I want all of them but went ahead and just ordered slash and shredder from bbts. Fuck paying extra for all of them.
>>
>>11797135
>tariffs do not affect domestic product.
you realize that most toy manufacturing is outsourced, right?
>>
>>11797023
Only Mikey and Don started showing up when these were first spotted. Raph just started hitting in my area this week along with punk Donnie. Just waiting on Wrestler Leo. East Coast.
>>
>>11796722
Missed the Amazon Target preorders for retail price. Put in a place holder at BBTS for Krang and Slash since it's a dollar cheaper than EE. If I find them in Target in July I'll just cancel the preorders. The rest I'll wait on Target circle deals and maybe even wait on clearance depending on what isn't moving. Likely the Copter since no pilot is included like the Amazon one.

I Got CC shredder from EE. Again, i dont want the other ones. There are other upcoming TMNT figures from playmates i do want such as remastered rocksteady and the final new mutants playmates toys is making for the tales of the tmnt versions of antrax, rahzar, tokka, and scale tail.

I don't get it. I've never watched the Simpsons
>>
>>11797191
Well first of all, unless you're working on the cure for cancer or something, you need to drop whatever you're doing and go watch the first.. nine to twelve seasons.
Secondly, in this episode Marge is concerned that, as a realtor, she is being pressured not to tell the truth about the quality of the houses she's selling
An unscrupulous lawyer-turned-realtor is telling her "well, there's the truth (frown) and the TRUTH! (smile)"
>>

I had to cop this one. Just too good.

Slash has had so fucking many good toys, it's weird.

He just has a really good design.

everywhere except the old cartoon. well and 2012 obviously, but by that show's standard, he looked great.

not everyone likes every design. I admitted that it's one of the show's better ones.
You at least understand how it differs from his old 90s designs, right?
>>
>>11797332
Who gives a fuck how it differs? It's supposed to be different. It's a redesign. On purpose.

>the first and so far only person to have remastered raph vs rocksteady two pack on ebay is selling it for 115$
I WANNA BREAK THE FUCKING NECKS OF EVERY SCALPER SCUMBUG ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH

AND I WANNA SKIN THE JEETS OVER AT AMAZON FOR REFUSING TO STOCK MORE TWO PACKS ONLINE

I HATE THIS FUCKING HOBBY
>>
>>11797877
competition would fix all of this
>>
>>11797891
Im fucking livid. When i even heard about the two pack it was already sold out and the ONE time it got restocked i couldnt order it cuz whoever set up amazons webpage is retarded and locked me out of buying it. This shouldnt have been an exclusive at al.
>>
>>11797898
that's how I felt about tokka and rahzar, but if I had waited, I would have gotten them for less.
yet, movie 1 accessory pack is still not out.. and where's my movie 2 splinter?
>>
>>11797926
I refuse to buy from the cock sucker selling the set for 115$ on ebay. Im either gonna wait til amazon does manage to restock it or if they dont im gonna get the two pack from someone else selling it cheaper. Im so fucking angry either way though
>>
Baroness Karai would be an instant sell.
>>
>>11797898
Playmates hates you. Playmates doesn't want to give people the chance to enjoy toys, they just want to fart out low effort junk and ride nostalgia splooge.

See this is why im celebrating that playmates is losing the license and will probably collapse within a year or two afterwards.
>>
>>11798155
let us just hope mattel does things right, and lets all the satellite companies do whatever they want. Especially since Neca's pretty much done with their lines anyway. Maybe they go Red Sky but beyond that, how many more do we have?
>>
>>11797877
theres supposed to be a single packed release of this rocksteady coming anyway
>>
>>11798249
Its probably going to be just as unobtainable as the battle damaged two park variant was. Also i hope the regular release comes out soon cuz i already waited too long for the two pack version, they better not make me wait for most of the rest of the year for the regular version too.

Also i wanted to ask something. Previously the amazon page had the "currently unavailable" text in red font but after they put more of the two pack up (and amazon wouldnt let my purchase it like the incompetent faggots they are) the "currently unavailable" text turned to grey. Is that significant or does that mean anything?
