Just do a few searches and you'll see that trimming that part of the face plate off should fix the problem. If you're hesitant you could try it on one of the face plates you don't care much about. Really the tabs alone and the hair should keep the faceplate in place so that piece of plastic is redundant anyway.

Goku is just a tad too short (and armour Trunks is too short too). Goku should be Kamione Gogeta height.

Even disregarding the fact that this is THE goku body we will be getting for atleast the next 5 years making a change unlikely, it would make vegeta goku chest height by comparison which feels well too short for only a 4 inch difference.
