If you limit yourself to only owning one version of a given mold, should it be the more famous version, or the version you like the most? Is your collection "Incomplete" if you go with the latter?
>>11771024Repaints can be awesome if done right. It depends on how much of an effort they make.
>>11771024If you don’t buy repaints then yeah you can’t really be a completionist can you? Always just buy what you like. Also I think repaints are often underrated. People might complain and moan about them but sometimes a different color is enough to make it feel like a completely different figure.
A repaint that passes for a new character is basically a new toyThough I like to spread new character repaints around to different molds, just because I like playing with new molds
>>11771024Funny enough, I don't collecting all 6 seekers. I just get the two in your image, as I like the coloring of them best. I like Thrust because he is a slight remold. I don't bother with the other 4.My collection is MY collection, it is not to be designed by a comic, show, or toyline. I get what I like, it is not "incomplete" without the others. I don't like the others, I get what I like.
I don't have a collection by any definition, I have a stash. I buy toys I like and don't care about completing a series or line or getting all characters.
>>11771024I like to have a choice, but preferably released at the same time instead of eventually. And nothing bland like "dark form" or some monotone thing
