>>11776845Legionscon Merlin and Arthur. Arthur's con exclusive version will come with the extra helmeted head, red sword and scabbard, belt and shield to make Sir Bedivere while Merlin's Con exclusive parts will be the pieces needed to make his Demon form. These two are apparently the start of a line that will be "exclusive" to Legionscon featuring figures from Arthurian Legend, so expect even more exclusives for that show to pop up over the next few months.
>>11776773Chances are they only have the resin prototypes on hand so they won't be able to pose at all. Especially if they're the paint masters because the last thing they wanna do before production is mess up the paint on the figures. They have an articulation breakdown on the Kickstarter and it looks pretty standard to modern figures, though it looks like they are sticking with single jointed knees and elbows. That's not a bad thing if you sculpt for it to get a good range, but from the 3d model promos, they seem to at best get 90 degrees. What really irks me about these figures though is how each of the three captains all come with these giant freaking long swords. Because when I think Pirate, I think Zweihanders and Claymores. Even the cutlass the Human captain comes with is this stupid massive weapon that's really not fitting to be used on a pirate ship. Though the army builder's sword seems to be more manageable. Which let me say, I'm glad they HAVE army builders. I mean, you're kinda limited to only getting two per builder due to lack of heads...unless you want all your humans and fishmen looking the same. But you could easily build an entire crew of Skeletons, which would actually be cool. And with the right combination of extra captains and captain kits, you could probably build a pretty decently diverse set up. But either way, it's just nice to see they have army builders....because too many lines seem to forget those are thing people want. But now I REALLY need to get me a good 1:12 pirate ship....possibly two depending on how hard I go with these guys. It would make for a fun display to have a crew of these dudes going up against the 4H's pirate offerings.
You knoe who needs a Mythic Legions…
>>11776845>Elric will be up on the SC shop in June in *very* limited numbers along with Brynyar Vael and Naraka the UndyingFUCK, I assume there's no date for that right? Which means I'll have to be alert.

They won't just stealth drop it and say "good luck", but I doubt they'll stagger the sale to make it easier for internationals to grab him. >>11776883OP here, I generally try to pick OC pics for the new threads. This pic was posted by an anon from the last thread, features one of the newest highly anticipated fantasy figures that just got released, and shows off the book series he's from for those not familiar with the character. tl;dr - I like the pic so I made it OP.
>>11776889..................but apparently I save the thumbnail cause I'm a moron. Here is the original.Brb, making third Mythic Legions General.
>>11776845never bought a savage crucible figure, but just got elric in, surprised how good he is, i was kind of expecting it to be borderline trash like boss fight studios or have outdated articulation like a mythic legions, pleasantly surprised
>>11776890Doesn't matter anon, as long as we can see the cool pic in the thread.>>11776845The XesRay Cassia is great. Watch out though, if you're removing her breast plate the latches on the side are extremely fiddly to get back on and I had to use her sword to push them each around.
>>11776864>>11776889Infinite Legions Lancelot and Concorde, with each figure coming with a part for a BaF horse.
>>11776963Yea, Bossfight stuff feels like older marvel legends, but SC really went out of their way to innovate some new articulation tech. I'm kind of meh on it, since it can look super wonky at times, but it works well enough and they do get some pretty good range of motion. >>11777033Didn't even realize they made a purple soldier to go with her. Also, that Alf with the backpack is awesome, I assume it was some sort of exclusive?>>11777114I'd be a completionist for that line.
>>11776845>Ashen Oath Kickstarter failed to meet goalHonestly, I'm not surprised. A few mistakes were made for this. His main exposure is via the Mythic Legions fanbase, and he launched his Kickstarter during the Legions RPG Kickstarter when most of his customer base will be throwing money at 4H. But the biggest issue was that every figure felt the same. There was no incentive to get multiples since they all kind of blur together. >Tide-Realm Corsairs Kickstarter launched. Already at 100k and expected to meet it’s goalThese guys have almost done it right, amd they will likely hit their goal. Each faction has a distinct look, and the way to get 4 different army builders from one figure with two heads and a tricorn is well thought out, but reusing the main character heads in the army builders feels a bit lazy. It is really obvious on the Tideborne crew figure, so hopefully one of the secret reveals is a head pack.I'm not sure if I will go all out on these, but if I am only going to get one figure, it's going to be Gravemoor the Storm-Hexed. I never realised I needed Pirate Captain Skeletor until now.
>>11777144>Also, that Alf with the backpack is awesome, I assume it was some sort of exclusive?NtA, but yeah. SDCC 2023.>>11777033I want to try and get that gladiator's manica to fit on the HopDo goblin in the worst way.
>>11777193Yea, the Ashen Oath guys just had the same figure three times and didn't really offer incentive to buy more then one or two. The unpainted figures were so close to being army builders that if they just had a bone colored head with the basic colored armor they probably would've made all the difference. With the Pirate KS though, yea, each Captain feels unique and essentially using the same mold for six different figures, with half of em being army builders is pretty genius. I'm kind of waffling between getting a couple to add to my Legions Pirates, or getting a full crew and making them rivals. I'll have to see stretch goals to make that decision though. But if last year was all about Conan and Barbarians for me, this year seems to be shaping up to be one of Pirates. First I got some Link Travelers Pirate figures with a Playmobil ship for em, I also got a couple of model kit robot pirates with a build-a-boat display. I grabbed a bunch of the Mythic Legions pirates and now I gotta worry about these guys. Though getting a 1:12 scale ship will be WAY more difficult then getting one for 3" figures. >>11777211>NtA, but yeah. SDCC 2023.Neat! Love me some Alf merch. Also. what's a HopDo goblin? And is that armor even removable? I know the blue gladiator chick had her armor molded to her arm.
>>11777211Yeah that was the limited edition Praetorian Guard, comes with both helmet types. I snapped up one of the last ones on Aliexpress a while ago. Happy with that little crew.
>>11777223>Also. what's a HopDo goblin? And is that armor even removable? I know the blue gladiator chick had her armor molded to her arm.Yeah, practically everything comes off the gladiators.

>>11777235Ah, drunkard rape goblin dude, yea he could use more gear. Something tells me the Xesray arms are a bit thicker then his green noodles though, but I'm sure it could be jury rigged to fit.
>>11776889A correction, that's not the book series Elric is from but a vinyl copy of the album "Warrior on the Edge of Time" by the psych rock band Hawkwind. The author of the Elric series, Michael Moorcock, wrote most of the lyrics on that album and based them around the concept of The Eternal Champion, which Elric is one of in Moorecock's multiverse. I wonder who they'll chose for the other two Moorecock characters that they're gonna make figures of.
>>11777247Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but like you said, I think I could work something out.
>>11777252Ah, my newfag is showing, I very much stand corrected. I'll admit, I only have a passing knowledge of Elric and his stories as I've only read some comics and didn't even read all of em. I didn't know about the concept album written by his author, but now I will certainly hunt it down.
>>11777235>Lewd goblin with poor posture and an airbrushHe is just like me fr fr
>>11776845Hawk wind- warrior at the edge of time!
>>11777252>I wonder who they'll chose for the other two Moorcock characters that they're gonna make figures of.I'm thinking Corum will be one of them, the question is which design they'll go with. My guess for the other would be Hawkmoon (assuming we don't just get more Elric, like of a more adventurous look for Elric, or one of his companions rather than more Champions). With the success of Elric, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll work on more of them after the initial ones they had planned.
>>11776855Yes I looked at the render images which only made me more suspicious but your explanation was very good thank you. I had the the same problems with the captain swords especially since they have hard coats they wouldn't even look right swinging the sword if you did want to even use it. Thinking about getting a few skelies for some kind of POTC army
Hopefully I can get that Elric from somewhere without paying out the ass. Would be nice to complete my trinity of white haired fantasy MCs in front of their books alongside Geralt and Drizzt.
>>11776871Dang I had seen this figure but I thought the articulation was not this good. If I would of seen something like this on the promo pics I would of bought it even tho I know nothing about the character.

>>11778228>>11778229....for a minute I thought I wandered into the /ctg/. Not that I'm complaining though. Shame about the paint rub....I guess I'll have to make sure I strip her right away....for reasons.
My stuff arrived!Originally I bought this guy just to improve my old Scaphoid (mainly with the cloth and new head), because I thought I preffered the magically infused warrior look. But actually this version is quickly becoming one of my favourite Legions, he's just really fun to fiddle around with.
Qoi is also really great, very intricate design and a lot of new pieces for me. The head sits a bit high, but with his collar and some posing you can hide it well enough.I also got the vamp orc gladiator and the Xylernian Guard as my random figure (who actually was one of the ones I was hoping for), I might post some pics of those later.
>>11777350>>11777252It'd be pretty rad to have the major incarnations of the Eternal Champion in toy form. I'm only starting to explore Moorcock, but from what I can tell that would/could roughly be Elric, Corum, Hawkmoon, Jerry Cornelius, Erekose, and... Von Bek?Especially with existing Conan figures out there, and Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser figures coming, classic S&S characters would be pretty well covered.
>>11778098As a PoL camper, I can assure you the one figure that will really make that shipment will not hit in time. It never does. It never goddamn does.
>>11776845Actually a question on the Elric. Is it based on a particular piece of artwork? A particular take? The current graphic novels being done over at Titan? I just realized I don't even know where they got the design from. And on that note, has Moorcock looked at it? I'm not sure he would give a shit, but it'd be interesting, the first ever figure based on one of his characters.
>>11778697I don't think it's based on any one take. I know they talked about the inspiration on an old livestream. The Stormbringer design they chose is one of the most used and iconic versions of the sword, so that one is a pretty standard version of the weapon, with people able to use Mournblade as Stormbringer as well if they so choose, especially considering the scabbard.Pretty clear this outfit is based on the one he used in his first battle fighting with Melnibone before Yyrkoon betrayed him in the traditional dragon armor. I can't recall if they mentioned if Moorcock saw the figure or gave any thoughts, but I'd have to think someone from the estate was working with them, approved the design/figure, etc.
>>11778736>I can't recall if they mentioned if Moorcock saw the figure or gave any thoughtsFrom what I can remember, Moorcock still owns the character rights (just not the tv/film/videogame/TTRPG rights) and the post announcing the figure said it was still pending licensor approval and gave a special thanks to Moorcock and his wife for letting them do the figure, so I'm guessing Moorcock approved the final design.
I also just got my SHF Band of the Hawk Guts in from my HLJ warehouse. He is so much better than the first Berserker armor one they did, you'd think it was a completely different company that made it. I've gotta get Casca now.It makes me want a Lost Children/Conviction armor version so that I can have him fighting my Templars since we will probably never get Holy Iron Chain Knights from any company. I might need to get the Broyoys one of it turns out good.
>>11778736>>11778810Thanks. So yeah, probably.I didn't know Moorcock had totally signed away so many of the rights. Huh.And Immortal Champion? Is Savage Crucible not natively English speaking? This seems like a translation quirk.
>>11778812I have Berserk stuff via Figma. Is it worth rebuying, or do I just hope Goodsmile gets to more characters? I don't really know either companies strengths or weaknesses.
>>11778815I'm picking and choosing between both companies because for the Golden Age characters, Figma uses the likeness from the Golden Age movie trilogy, and I never liked their faces. This Golden Age Guts looks like Miura's early art before he really refined it, so some people might be put off by that. Casca looks perfect though, and I have her sitting in my private warehouse. Another anon posted her in a previous thread recently. Griffith is coming out soon and one of his faces looked a little off, but still better than the Figma. If you can live with the likenesses on the Figmas, I wouldn't bother rebuying, but I was never happy with them. For Berserker Armor, definitely stick with the Figma. The SHF is a piece of shit, though the SHF Heat of Passion berserker mode version was a definite improvement, but the shoulders are on tiny joints and look flimsy, and one anon reported them coming apart. Another issue is that the SHF Dragonslayer is solid PVC that weighs a ton and depending on the joint tolerances, the figure might have trouble holding it up with one hand, so the Figma sword is better for that reason. I'm going to get a bootleg Figma just for the Dragonslayer to solve that minor issue so I don't have to worry about the SHF Dragonslayer stressing the shoulders. And there is no SHF Black Swordsman for now, so definitely keep that one.I doubt Figma will do secondary characters like Schierke and Isidro, so if you want them, grab the SHF. Zodd however, I can't guess if Figma will get around to him or not. Their Skull Knight came out of nowhere, and I'd almost expect them to make Zodd to go with him, but I got the SHF in case they never do. And I got the PuP Zodd in demon form because I'm not even sure if any company will ever do him, but SHF have done a few of the huge One Piece characters, so it's anyone's guess.
>>11778813>Is Savage Crucible not natively English speaking? They are from America. One of the more southern states if I remember right from when I got my Lemurian Kickstarter figs and saw where they were posted from. So it was probably just a brainfart typo and they meant Eternal Champion, unless Moorcock had to register Immortal Champion as the trademark due to it already being taken.
>>11778692I know.I've always known. God I miss the old days when your POL could go six months. It was fun getting a big box twice a year.

>>11778812Nice man, I have both Guts and Casca, I love them. Guts is the better figure though, but I managed to get Casca on sale so she felt good value to me. I really pray they do a Black Swordsman after Griffith, I opted to skip the Bro Toys one in the hope of an SHF.
>>11779501>I really pray they do a Black Swordsman after GriffithI have no doubt SHF will make Black Swordsman. It is the quintessential Guts, and I'm pretty sure it is most people's favorite design. Not mine though.>I opted to skip the Bro Toys one in the hope of an SHF.I've gotta flex my autism power level here.I'm certain that Brotoys Guts is from the Conviction arc, specifically the Albion chapters. The giveaway is the legs. From what I remember, he only wore black trousers in his encounter with Snake Baron and Slug Count during the Black Swordsman arc, and in Lost Children the wings on the side of the poleyns (kneecap armor) were more flat instead of the fluted ones he got when Godo reforged his armor in the Cracks in the Blade chapter. There might be other minor differences, but that is the main one that screams Albion armor. That's why I'm still tempted to get the Brotoys one. Black Swordsman is a shoe-in, but either of the Conviction armor sets are less likely, and I'd be kicking myself if I skipped the only chance at getting a Conviction arc Guts, even if the design is only my second favorite to the peak Lost Children armor.
>>11779548You really think brotoys face is good?
>>11779765No, it's definitely off. I'd probably need to get a 3d printed one and find a seller that also paints them since I've never fully painted a face and been happy with the outcome, like this seller does.https://www.ebay.com/itm/389576909480I know, wrong head and probably a bit realistic for my liking, but you get my point. And I'd probably turn the stock angry head into pic related. Giving him a cheek piercing, whiten out the eye, and a splash of red ink is within my skillset. Also I feel like the armor is a few shades too light and should be a much darker gunmetal. All of these factors are why I haven't preordered him yet. $70 for the fig plus another $50ish for a painted custom head, and it would still need a coat of paint before I would be happy. But the possible alternative is no Conviction Guts in my collection. Of course, if I spend $120 plus to get him to a level where I'm happy, you just know that SHF will make a perfect one and announce it two weeks after I finish it.
>>11779821They updated it btw.
>>11779548Also latest picture if you hadn't seen it.
>>11780285>>11780287I had not seen it.I'm glad they decided to make the armor darker. That's almost exactly what I had in mind. Even the heads look much better, although maybe a bit too hyper realistic to go side by side with SHF Zodd. Still, I'll make it work. Preordering now.
>>11779084So you could ram them up your butt?
Finally got my in stock sale order and boy did I Bust hard with my two mystery figures. Everyone else I see getting Old Con Exclusives or Armory figures or Deluxe sets...I end up with Lijae and the standard version of Gawrychh. Both figures I already own (twice over with the latter figure) and neither of them particularly desirable to begin with. I guess I can do something with Gawrychh, but Lijae was never that impressive of a figure and that elf head sculpt of his is just awful and I still haven't found a good use for the black limbs I already had as set of. I mean, I guess it's not a Zende, but it's certainly a bit of a disappointment. Rest of my figures are great though, will try to get pics sometime this week....because there's no way I'll find time this weekend to do anything fun.
Have John Carter and Dejah Thoris ever had good action figures? I don't think they have. So many classic fantasy sword and sorcery type characters are getting toys recently, it feels like they're the most important ones left. Wild.
>>11778857Honestly if they manage to make a long line of Eternal Champion figures, going far beyond the three they seem able to do, I'd love to get this at some point. It'd be fun to have this dork design knocking around.>>11778842There's like ten weird options.>>11778839They scale well together? It seems I need SHF for D&D party era characters, and I do rather like them all. Still Farnese, Serpico, Casca in her new armor maybe, god knows what else, all seem really far away. Weird that they've only done the kids so far.

>>11782177that's beautiful anon
>>11778697It's a pastiche, there's a pretty clear influence from the Titan comics but they didn't have the rights to any particular illustration. They've already said it'll be the same with the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser figures they announced
>>11782174There was an old 5 PoA Tarzan toyline that I believe included some John Carter figures, I know they made Carter himself, but I'm not sure how much of the rest of his cast got made. Other then that there was a weird 1:6 figure, but I can't think of any more. But Frazetta Girls have been knocking it out of the park with their other releases, so I'm sure their Carter and Dejah Thoris figures will be fantastic. >>11782175Every time I see someone mention "Eternal Champions" my brain goes right back to that 90s Sega fighting game. >>11782279Will just post a couple more, but this version of Corum with the pointy hat works great.

>>11782236They're doing two iirc, one a fancy, high quality 1:12 scale figure and one a 5" retro MotU style cartoonish figure. You can pre-order them both now, but I think only the small one is still up on the FG shop. But the 1:12 one is still up on BBTS. They also confirmed Dejah Thoris, but she hasn't gone up for sale yet.
>>11782294Thanks a lot Anon. I checked for Dejah just yesterday, her name being so unique. I skipped John altogether. I got that ordered now.
If I already have the Mezco Conan's, do the Frazetta Girls figures offer any improvements?
>>11782175>They scale well together?Figma and SHF Guts are almost perfectly in scale with each other. I can't say for the other characters because I never bought Figma Casca or Griffith. Not my pic. I'm away from my collection because I'm visiting my dad in hospital. And Farnese and Serpico are my most wanted figures. Both in their Holy Iron Chain Knights garb, and the JRPG party versions. Also Mozgus and his followers. I would also kill for the rest of the original Band of the Hawk.My wishlist for Berserk is insanely extensive.
>>11782392Yeah my wishlist for Berserk is just.... all.Good information. Bad for the pocket. Thanks. All the best to you and your dad.
>>11782355There's a very distinct size difference (FG figures are bigger) and handfeel will be very different as well (Mezco actually moves better imo). But overall, I feel the FG Conan is the better representation of our favorite Cimmerian. He's got a very sharp sculpt, excellent paint, feels far heftier, and again that height helps sell him as an imposing figure. Gear wise, Mezco usually pulls out a head, but the FG figure has a decent amount of stuff as well. But of all the multiple Conans I own, official or implied, the FG one is easily my favorite.
>>11782177A magnificent display
>>11782807So this is a pretty quick turn around to already be in the Test shot stages for the this figure. They might actually get these two out by the end of the year at the rate they're going. Not sure if I like the new hip/waist arrangement though, but I can see why they went in this direction. I don't see her as getting a crazy amount more articulation, but it should make her silhouette look nice and she won't need a bulky belt around her waist. Also, for those who ordered em, the Otho/Urzokk Legacy figures and the Ashes wave are on their way to the 4H warehouse now. So those figures should be shipping sometime in June.
Eesh, talk about dead board. So this is the last weekend to order Armory Gladiators and the Edgehounders head pack with the removed red haired female warrior head. It's kinda crazy that there's still Armory Knights up for sale in the actual shop, but they made so few of the Gladiators that they had to run em again as a pre-order just to fill the basic demand. They really need to get a better handle of the numbers they pump out for these exclusive releases they constantly drop.In non-Legion news, that Pirate Kickstarter is like 20k away from it's goal. It's set up in a weird way in that they "unlock" figures before actually even reaching their funding goal, seems kind of backwards to do it like that. But I do appreciate they offer pre-made crew bundles with a captain and two mooks for a slight discount. I'd probably grab at least one set of these guys, just can't decide between getting the humans or the skeletons. Though the biggest problem with this line is Pirates need a boat. knights don't really need a castle, space men can be fine without a spacecraft, but pirates just aren't Pirates if they don't have themselves a proper ship to terrorize the seas in. I was already having a hard enough time finding something suitable for the Mythic pirates that are coming, if I grab these guys I'll need to find A) a second boat of equal size or B) an even bigger boat so I can mix all the figures into one crew. Both options are just as big of a pain to deal with and both will run into the biggest issue of all, having no place to put em. I can honestly understand why no one really made larger sized pirates until now.
I wish I had more to talk about, I like chatting here. I got my replacement Heroic Signature Conan yesterday and it also had a wobbly knee, bit I cba to go through another return. At least the paint is correct this time. I don't really have any incoming fantasy characters any time soon and I haven't got any cool terrain for diorama stuff, though I want to start working on it.I did order the two Claymore revoltechs, so I'm super excited for them, though they are months away obviously. I daw some pretty cool Chinese fantasy figures get revealed the other day, I'll post them later.
>>11788396>Though the biggest problem with this line is Pirates need a boat. That's a really good point.
>>11788396Yet still no news for the missing red head without war paint. Not sure what I'll do with the extra Edgerunner teel hair
>>11788453That sucks about your Conan, how bad is the knee? Would some floor polish on the end of a pin be able to fix the wobble? And I ordered Clare myself, not sure if I can splurge on Teresa though. That's one of those series were I wouldn't really need, or want, all the characters as figures since they all have very similar looks. For their price, I'm happy just getting the main character. >>11788455It's virtually impossible to find any kind of boats in 1:12 scale, one big enough to be a pirate ship is as far as I can tell completely non-existent. I might try to mod one of them old True Legends boats to be a tiny Sloop or something, which would be perfect for a small three man crew. I already use one for my Plunderlings display, but for it to work with actual 1:12 figures like Legions or those KS pirates, it'll need a LOT of work. >>11788461I doubt they'll ever drop the plain red head. The whole situation is ridiculous on it's face though, and I hate to see the bully get his way over this whole ordeal. That said, I was personally most excited about the Boudica painted face to begin with, so I'm glad I can still grab it. All the extras from that set will just be a nice bonus. I'm hoping I'll be able to track down a spare fem dwarf torso at one point, because I can slap that, and the bare arms from the set, on a pair of 1.0 trousers and get a whole new figure to use the blue haired head on. I've decided to start building a sort of "Thieves Guild" faction and a barbarian brute elf lady would be a nice addition to that roster.
>>11788531Yeah some polish would probably fix it, it's not the end of the world and considering this is the second time it has happened, along with reading about people having a similar problem, I don't think it's uncommon enough to gamble on a third figure. It doesn't really affect his stability much if at all so it's just a case of it being annoying having an issue with an expensive figure.>I ordered Clare myself, not sure if I can splurge on Teresa though.I was originally just going to get Clare, but there were a few reasons I went with both. Teresa is Teresa, the likelihood of anyone else ever making Claymore figures is almost non-existent so these are probably going to be the only two and that they actually bothered to give her a different body, she's taller, slightly different shape with bigger tits etc. impressed me. I doubt they will do any more figures anyway, it doesn't seem like anyone even cares about them apart from like five of us on this board. I think they look fantastic sculpt wise, especially for Revoltechs, so I decided to be decadent. I think for the rest of the year, I only see myself buying Dejah Thoris and paying off pre-orders anyway, unless there are some big surprises.
>>11788453Oh an here are those Chinese beast warrior guys I mentioned. This wolf dude looks pretty sweet.
>>11788573
>>11788576
>>11788578
>>11788579
>>11788581
>>11788582
>>11788584Then we have a Mety Toyz WoW Doomguard up for order now, I know not many of you are WoW guys but he makes a good big generic demon warrior.
>>11788585And also Fish Toys have a cool scarred and bloody wolf with nice barbaric armour up for order. They also have a new light brown horse.
>>11788587Anyway, maybe some of you hadn't seen these. They all look interesting.
>>11788585huh, I did not expect a generic fel guard to tempt me more than all the other stuff they released. Then again I did play the most during Legion, so it makes some sense I suppose.
>>11788585Yeah might cop for dungeon boss type shit>>11788587Dont like how he stand, its like he stretch that back leg
Not rellana from elden bing is on gundamit https://gundamit.com/mf-studio-1-12-oath-of-chivalry-no-1-leilana_p10342.html
>>11788771>felguardJust realised I said doomguard, I have been making that same mistake for like 30 years at this point.
>>11789074Yeah I put the deposit down, but I still think this whole figure is super dodgy. It has resurfaced with the exact same pictures as last time months ago and only on Gundamit, it's still sold out on Bombusbee. I just don't think it will actually materialise there is too much weirdness about it, but I believe Gundamit refund "price unknown" deposits if you change your mind later.
>>11789078Could be factory problem so they close the pre order and now it fixed they open again, its common on 3rd party brand like this.
>>11788589am sure there must be a proper term for 'elbow' in an animal's fore-paw but if that is an actual articulation point, color me impressed
>>11790282Brilliant.
>>11790282what the fuck
>>11790282this better not awaken anything in me...
>>11790282Is that a giant Tardigrade man? Is that official or a custom, because if that's official I'm glad I skipped out on Slogg. That's the kind of stuff I wanna see in Cosmic, crazy abnormal, inhuman alien freaks.
>>11782177Can I ask where the skeletons with the instruments came from?
>>11790615Sadly it is a slogg custom
Mezco Pitfighter Conan goes up tomorrow, for those interested.
>>11791289I wish Mezcos weren't so fucking expensive, they feel like the American Mafex these days. QC issues, un-updated articulation and increasing prices, just way harder to justify with all these third party Chinese studios that are sometimes half the price. Still cool figures though.
>>11790899They are from various sources. The tall skeletons are from Storm Collectibles' Golden Axe line; smaller one is Revoltech's Jason and the Argonauts; kids are Pose Skeleton by Re-Ment.Trumpet and drum are from Figura Obscura Father Christmas, and the string instrument is from the bard guy from the Dungeons & Dragons movie.
>>11791465Yeah, Mezco are getting to be a pretty dicey prospect when ot comes to price-value. I'm looking to make my exit with night raid Conan.
>>11791257That's both a good thing and a bad thing imo. It's bad in that I'll never own a giant tardigrade man, but it's good because I *really* don't want to buy more Cosmic stuff. Every release I get in hand always feels kind of...disappointing. I just don't get the same joy from Cosmic figures as I do from Mythic stuff. >>11791289I think Movie-verse Conan is one of the few variations of him I haven't gotten a figure of as of late. I'm glad Mezco is making them now as the S7 ones just looked...like S7 made em, but I think I'll wait till they make a final battle Conan as that's my favorite of his looks from the movie. >>11791465>>11791567I'd probably have gotten all their Conans if they weren't constantly creeping up in price. But to be fair, they do come with butt loads of stuff. Too much honestly, I end up having to use a lot for other figures or just binning pieces. I wish they sold cheaper blank versions of that barbarian body so I can make use of all the extra gear, especially the stuff from that one accessory set they put out with the extra heads. I also kinda wish they put out more of those sets, especially since the only reason I'd buy the Mezco Conqueror Conan is because of the unique weapons he has.
>>11791567>>11791689I could justify the price to myself more if certain parts of their engineering weren't so ass. You can look at the ankles and tell they're are going to be just terrible as they've always beenI'm picking up Night Raid, the iconic look when they get to it and side characters if they do them (doubt it) but I'm going to pass on getting the 4+ they're probably going to release.
>>11792479>I'm picking up Night Raid, the iconic look when they get to itWe're still in the release window for it, so here's to hoping it doesn't get delayed.
>>11792479hmmm...do you think nenroid accessory instruments would be a possible fit for a skeleton of their sizes? Or maybe something in 1/35 scale like from this website? https://spruebrothers.com/mia35622-1-35-miniart-musical-instruments/
>>11791502>>11792721meant for this.
>>11791289>no swordfuck they're really gonna make me buy both of them huhthey'll probably do the battle of the mounds before they do the iconic look too
>>11792721That sounds very small.Figures like Revoltech, Epic HACKS, Mythic Legions, Storm Collectibles have scales of around 1/13 to 1/10.The Re-ment Skeleton Pose figures that I pass as kids are theoretically like 1/20, could work with 1/24.I guess the Skeleton Pose guys could use Nendoroid instruments. I've only got a katana from Kenshin. I presume than Nendo accessories have different scales depending on whether they are meant to interact with their bodies or heads. Some might even be large enough to be used by 1/12 figures, I guess.
>>11792845The only credit I'll pay to Super7 is that they included the Atlantean in every Conan, appropriate or not, lol. It's easy to pick at what Mezco chose, but there were 4-5 different looks in that pit fight scene, and they kind of just did an amalgamation with the two stand-out weapons. Certainly could have given him a double-bit axe or that curved sword, though. I mean they gave raid Conan a dagger he didn't have, after all.Oh, and you can be sure vanilla Arnold Conan will be last in line.
>>11793240I agree with this Anon. The skeleton he has pictured is only 90mm-91mm. I won't rule out a compatible nendo instrument, but I think a lot will be large. You might try Sylvan Families/Calico Critters, Lil Woodzeez or Honey Bee Acres, or one of those smaller doll lines. Could try looking up 1:20-1:18 scale instruments, too.
>>11782177they look so happy
>>11793297yeah honestly id just go for the iconic look if they offered it first but knowing mezco it will take them 3 years to get to it so its either buy these or wait without a conan till then
