Isn't the articulation highly limited by the seamless limbs and/or soft goods that you can't even keep them in a semi-dynamic pose for too long or you damage the materials. That's on top of the range of motion being even less than even a Marvel Legends. Like the one pose in the OP pic isn't even impressive but it's probably the most this figure can do.I see Hot Toys collections and they're all just in neutral standing poses behind glass, why not just collect statues at that point?

>>11777129I think the profit margin for them is better. There are always people who want something that looks like they walked off the screen. With statues you have to have everything done with painting and that can be costly and harder to mass produce. But dolls you can get a lot done with soft goods and save money with shared bodies underneath most of the time. With action figures you have this dilemma of expected pricing even though they require many molds and decent amount of painting, but with these fancy dolls you somehow feel they are worth the high pricing. With the right IPs they make tons of money probably.

You're able to achieve enough range of motion a lot of these characters would've had in live action movies they're from, which is to say nothing too crazy, but they're not as stiff as people act. They're also like mini replicas of the costumes and outfits themselves, which is another element of interest to people in the museum display sense. Statues are a big commitment and you have to really like the scene they're depicting.
