She's a simultaneous race-swap and gender-swap. I don't have a clue as to why they did that.

Larry Hama hates that he made Snake Eyes white, despite the whole point is he was an outsider everywhere he went. He's also a plagiarizing perv, hence she's basically Psylocke with the whole possessed japanese girl thing.

Well it's too late to complain now. As far as plagiarism goes he based his howling commandoes on Marvel's SHIELD.

>>
>>11782705
I doubt that's happening. It's too late for them to get into gaming. It now takes upwards of $200 Million+ and up to a decade to produce one game now. Their chance to dig in and establish themselves as a serious gaming company ended two decades ago. And would they risk trying it now that gaming is dying, and not as massive as it used to be?

You didn't curse shit. That mold was made to be re-used in the classic colors. You're just impatient. They already said that they won't do re-releases until a year has passed. It hasn't been a year yet.
>>
>>11782720
>re-releases
It’s a very interesting move by Hasbro, the fact that they have not done a straight reissue of a single thing from this line. Only recolors.
>>
>>11782738
Rattler Baroness is in the wrong shade of blue, so a repaint is expected with a re-release. Different accessories, too. And I don't think they accidentally made her glasses yellow instead of the correct green.
>>
If the line dies, I'd say it had a decent run. 25th anniversary to Retaliation lasted about the same amount of time.

why do you faggots lie this much its doing fine, its the big corpos finally getting their asses kicked while indies are doing great
>>

Yeah, primarily by replicating shit from 2006 that big companies used to make
the novelty of retro survival horror games for example applies more to people who never actually played them
>>
>>11783084
and? what are you expecting from video games do you need big budget sloppa? tetris is a 40 year old game and many people still enjoy playing that games dont need to innovate or big a big wow factory for legacy media they just need to be good and simple much like toys, retard
>the novelty of retro survival horror games for example applies more to people who never actually played them
wow theres children born every minute discovering FNAF how terrible

>>11783094
>can't specifically pin point
I did though. Heartworm and Signalis were okay (if tranny coded) but not as good as Silent Hill 2 or 3, which are sitting on a shelf right beside my toys.
However, unlike those video games from the 2000s, my action figure shelf has a Daredevil figure from 2 years ago, and not the one the spider-man classics line, released around the same time as those aforementioned video games

Oh wait..nevermind that would still require his broke ass to buy something. If he can’t pirate it for free he can’t discuss it
>>
>>11783464
There isn't a lot to be said about the toys that hasn't already been said a million times before. We're in a holding pattern until "Yo Joe June." And why is a greenshirt leading the charge, and the MOBAT in the wrong color? Why isn't the tank in front to provide cover for the troops?
>>
>>11783487
Kid me always assumed the featured green shirt in all the original art was Duke before they gave him a unique look. I don't remember there being any basis for this at all though.

I just bought 2 more Royal Guards at full price and I feel like a nasty dirty bitch whore for it. I was obsessing over them. The most insane part is I really want to go back for the last two. But no. Hit & Run’s biggest issue is his proportions. His legs are way too long. Secondly he has a dorky face. Thirdly for all his “realism”, his face paint is not applied correctly. Even if it was that dosent change the fact they put a brown splotch right by his mouth that makes it look like he just finished eating literal shit.
Honorable mentions:
>awkward goggles as always
>Weird web gear with a slot for a extra magazine that he of course dosent come with

I can’t put my finger on *exactly* what is wrong here but he just felt wrong straight out of the box. I like Beachhead’s proportions. You can see some places where H&R is totally different. He’s basically a lanklet. He’s super skinny but look how much higher up his elbow and shoulder end up being. He just looks strange to me. Strange in the same way they made my boy Mainframe a manlet. It just feels off, like it was done by accident not on purpose. Idk

I don't mind the wildly different body sizes and proportions personally. Kind of gives each figure their own distinct build, which helps them feel less repetitive as figures. It's also more natural to have different people have wildly different heights, builds and proportions.

The only real problem with the 6 inchers is that, below the waist, the bodies all look like ass, even compared to cheap body bucks like wrestling, and especially when you look at any civilian Hasbro 6" Marvel, like a suited villain or hero, or one wearing jeans or normal, non-costumed pants.
Joe's can look great, especially with gear and transport or other accessories, and in group settings, but even in say a group war planning council, mess hall, officers club type display, waist down - once your eyes go there - all MEH.

Thinking about getting a Classified Slice, can anyone tell me if the pauldrons are removable or pegged-in? What about the braces? Thanks in advance!
>>
>>11787415
Neither the shoulder armor nor the forearm armor are removable. The forearms are fully molded, that’s just his forearms. For the shoulders, the armor is soft rubber glued on to his arms. Articulation wise, Dice has a much worse issue; the black “shirt” coming from his shoulders does not rotate with hos shoulders. It’s actually his butterfly hinges. This limits his shoulder movement a lot. He basically dosent have butterflies because of how he was engineered

>Kiddo, in America, we don't drive armoured vehicles unless we are moving money
NTA, but SWAT vans are definitely armored. Actually all LAPD patrol cars have ballistic panels in the driver and front passenger doors, which I think they started doing after the North Hollywood shootout.
And most limos/SUVs transporting political VIPs are armored. Even some celebrities prefer armored SUVs.
That's why companies like this exist.
https://www.alpineco.com/vehicles-we-armor/armored-cadillac-escalade
There are parts of LA, Baltimore, and Chicago that are about as safe as Beirut.

Also kiddo, in America, nobody puts the letter "U" in the word armor, so I don't know where you are larping from, but you failed.
>>
>>11789121
>Kiddo, in America, we don't drive armoured vehicles unless we are moving money. If GIJoe named like Brown Faggot there or something?

Being able to withstand explosives was literally a selling point of that shitty truck musk created and all the righttards lined up to throw money at it. There's plenty of people here in the US that LARP as being so important they need an armored SUV, and Valas poor excuse for a truck looks just like something a soccer mom would buy. Just slap a sticker of some flip flops on the rear window and give it some sort of wine drinking vanity license plate, and that would be right at home in any suburban setting.

>>11788692
He's not incompetent, just highly uncreative. His figures are fine, just boring.

I would have looked at hitting Boeing up for the AH/MH-6 license, and Oshkosh for one of their MRAPV designs, but that Rezvani VIP-hauler struck his fancy. Curious if there will be an update on that Garrison orinthopter at DFW.

An MRAPV would actually be pretty cool, but what he should really do is get in touch with Zica Toys and see if he can blow up that Nightwolf vehicle from the failed Kickstarter. It's an original looking vehicle that actually looks like some sort of armored 4x4, but the damn thing could hold about ten figures. I'm sure it wouldn't need too much work to redevelop to be usable for 1:12 figures, especially considering how huge it already was. And being an original design would help keep costs lower due to less licensing costs. It would also be something unique as to this point, the only thing close to a 1:12 scale troop carrier is the Gridiron stuff, and 3d printed vehicles are already super expensive and have a slew of their own issues.

I'd rather see new, unique, more toyetic designs for my near-future military toylines over some super niche, licensed soccer-mom armored SUV. But again, Vala has no imagination and no creativity, so the only thing he can put out is stolen ideas and 'realistic' Mil-sim designs.

I think they're using the same business strategy as Hasbro with playing the long-game to keep the line going for as long as possible. So we wait for things we know will be easy-sells, which is why we still haven't gotten O-ring Baroness or Storm Shadow. They already know that the battle armor Baroness is the most demanded and valuable figure from the entire Ultimates line, and Storm Shadow is another valuable one. But no O-ring version in sight.

The cartoon version may have implied having long brown hair instead of a hood. That's been an argument for four decades. It's a hard argument for the "hair club" to win when considering event he figure showed him having a hood. But yeah I agree that cartoon Zartan had long brown hair.
>>
>>11791232
>CC as a ninja is retarded to me, but that's my opinion.
It's retarded, but it's the exact sort of retarded-but-fun toys I'd have wanted from the Ninja Force subline back in the day, over most of the OCs they made back then. Characters who are actually melee fighters may make more sense than Cobra Commander, but a new costume for Cobra Commander would probably sell better than any other Cobra character, so it's a sensible business decision, even if it's an odd fit from a character standpoint.

I wouldn't be opposed to some story where he just dresses up like this briefly to troll Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow or something.
>>
>>11791390
Whether Sunbow Zartan is wearing a hood or whether it's his hair is a situational question where the answer can vary from scene to scene within a single episode.

So admittedly, I only own a small add on piece from Gridiron so I don't want to specifically shit on the quality of his work...but 3d printed stuff is very much still 3d printed stuff. You can see the lines, it'll feel gritty and rough, it'll make all the worst noises if you rub two pieces of em together and it'll always have glaring imperfections or ill-fitting parts. Again, not saying Gridiron's stuff is specifically bad, just pointing out the nature of 3d printed toys still has a long way to go.

I will say Gridiron's vehicles do look fantastic, and some of his add on kits are really nice. But in addition to all those general 3d printed qualms I have, there's also the massive issue of price. The base price for the APC is $300 bucks. I can get a Ramen tank, which has a much nicer, far sturdier finish, and is also bigger, for less then that. Even the small piece I got, which was a roof and mini-turret for a Vamp/Stinger was half the price of the Vamp itself. For the prices you'd be paying, I'd at least want something without all the issues 3d printed items bring with them.

>>11792403
>>11792672
This, so hard. New Lara isn't just a boring character, it's not even a good Lara. Without even needing the triangle giant boobs, the original Lara was just a better character overall, a snarky, competent badass who just wouldn't die. While it's not exactly a crossover I was asking for, if they could make a Classic Lara in the Classified quality, I'll be all over it.

>>11792430
I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened yet. Though I can see why they wouldn't do Guile, but they could easily pop out updated versions of some of the other Joe X SF figures. Though maybe they're waiting until after NF Scarlet drops so they can do an SDCC Exclusive set or something.
>>

Thanks for the input. I love the M113 design and yeah the price is the high, but I don't see any company making a vehicle like it 5 years from now, so I'm willing to bite the bullet if it turns out good. However, the additional accessories for it are too rich for my blood....actually no, it's straight up highway robbery.

The only Black Major ones I have are these three. I don't care that they're not spot-on accurate with the colors, and actually enjoy them that way. I don't pass them off as legit. CC being a slightly darker shade of blue looks good like that, but it's a bitch trying to find the right paint to color-match so I can paint the rivets like I did with the other two.

And I only got them because originals have gotten too expensive, and I want the figures, so them being "off a little bit" is OK. When considering that most Black Major stuff is in weird colors, I guess I got lucky with finding them.

Preordersonline this weekend. Are you getting any? Im gonna wait until they hit shelves andsee them in person.

Turtles fans I assume. That whole line is just putting them in different IPs over and over again fro 40 years.

Me.
Hopefully Splinter will be dress like Tunnel Rat

So Raphael is Roadblock AND Wild Bill?
>>
>>11794899
Splinter is supposed to be older and wiser, so if they did him then he'd probably be General Hawk.

I would love it if Super7 did a glow-in-the-dark BAT. They've already done Snake Eyes like that.

Hoarders. People that think it'll make money after Playmates dies.

Aside from where they decided to spend the paint budget, it would look right at home next to the '90 Turtlecopter.

Some of the Valaverse stuff is actually pretty cool. I just think that it's a wee bit arrogant for him to name the line after himself.

Gee, y'think?

No they make pretty great toys. Maybe you should stop talking like the retard you are?

It's more arrogant to attack Hasbro and GI Joe when your entire brand is built on GI Joe.
>>
>>11796305
Yes he is. Some of the Vala figures are still good.

>>11796307
"Wee bit" was a wee bit sarcastic. I know he shit-talks Hasbro WHILE copying Hasbro's Classified style. But still some figures are still good, and since Hasbro's not touching Action Force outside of doing Quarrel, that's what you have.
>>
>>11794751
Scarlet April is pretty hot looking ngl. I assume these are all 5"ish figures or something more in line with Turtles as opposed to Joes, but I might grab her if I ever see her.

The AWE is also pretty cute, but I kind of loathe that kind of vehicle because it's just too common.

>>11795215
This thing is absolutely ridiculous and I absolutely love it. I don't even collect turtles anymore but I kinda want this. It's just the definition of absurd toy design. It even has the OG Blue and Gold from the first Classified figures, that's a neat little touch.

>>11796305
>>11796323
Yea he is, and yea his toys are ok. They're a good, solid figure but they're not changing the game or raising the bar in any way. His figures don't suck, which isn't the most flattering of praise but still praise non-the-less.

He did glow-in-the-dark figures before Hasbro, so that's a positive, and glow-in-the-dark makes everything cooler.

I saw this earlier and it made me chuckle. Lady Jaye if she were in a Korean F2P heroshooter. Any of you guys read the current comics?

I want to see them follow these "Joes in 'civilian' clothing" covers up with once for Cobra characters, especially the ones who never wear normal clothes, even if they're not introduced in those comics yet.

>Any of you guys read the current comics?
They're just introducing Crystal Ball and the DIRE tech in the latest issue.

Meanwhile, Hama's book set in the original continuity is going back to the Dr Venom/brainwave scanner well yet again, with a story about implanted programming he put into Snake Eyes long ago.

This one ayuto-saged early. I don't know why. Maybe the anti-NECA guy caused it to get bumped down to the point of no return with all of his topics he started.

Whoever designed this look should just stop.

How do you find them, fun reads? I know Image is truly a completely mixed bag by its very nature of being creator driven, but I find I like a lot of comics they publish. Will have to give G.I. Joe a go, maybe Void Rivals as well.
