A new thread and no toys yet? Talk about dull, anon!>>11819319That all sounds right to me, though my memory of the series obviously isn't the strongest either. Were the Andalites also revealed to be dicks at some point? I feel like they might have been, but it's been too long.
Hasbro will reissue Siege Jetfire a third time (while the Void Rivals version sits on their hasbropulse shelf) before releasing their own G2 Motormaster.
>>11819324Didn't realize he had a new head sculpt....that IS still intended to be Blaster, right?
Surprised Hasbro hasn't tried to reboot Jem for the VTuber audience.
>>11819339I didn't get the Void Rivals version because I want painted Autobot/Decepticon symbols.
>>11819324More than meets the ACK!
>>11819324I kinda love this. Even aside from the cassettes, he just looks kinda neat.>>11819381Wrong shades of blue and pink to be a Forty-One Percenter. Looks more synthwave to me.
>>11819381>Hasbro associating transgenderism with the loli serieslol?
If you're gonna ride, anon, ride in style!
Shin Gekirin!
>>11819381Either you need to adjust your monitor, or you have some form of color blindness.
>>11819324Kind of a missed opportunity not to give this deco a new name and make it an OC.
he can technically close his mouth more he just looks like a derp
>>11819502why did you take a screenshot of your phone instead of just saving the picture
>>11819504That's what i'm wondering, I only posted this because I thought I saved the fucking picture
>>11819339Such a good mold. Anyone who has still never owned Siege Jetfire get on this.
>>11819339>>11819513Is it too much to ask for a cleaner mold with the VR colours, painted emblems, and the other accessories?
>>11819488That reminds me, they really should make Shattered Glass Sound wave an OC character as far making him be Soundwave's heroic twin brother.
>>11819525What's that? A new Titan with 3 panel lines on the entire toy? Why didn't you say so!
>>11819532Damn, now that's an Insecticon leader.
>>11819324What time should I expect this guy to go up on pulse? I really glfucking love Jem and need this.https://youtu.be/42K0CFMq5Ks
>>11819417the wiki seems to think it countshttps://tfwiki.net/wiki/Blaster_(G1)/toys
>>11819539Who the fuck cares what the wiki thinks? What are you a fucking HASBRO TOY DESIGNER with no reference?
>>11819539Anon, the wiki captions are jokes. Also, it's just one person making a joke. It's not THE WIKI COLLECTIVE(TM) actually saying Blaster is trans. You gotta get a grip.
>>11819535Well its SDCC exclusive, so sometime around then
>>11819542Specifically, the person that added the caption is https://tfwiki.net/wiki/User_talk:Doomdorm64, who seems to have a habit of making bad wiki edits and being told off about it.
Pinks and blues are all over the place in Jem, but something I haven't seen anybody talk about is Jem Blaster's grey: it's probably so his tape deck mode evokes the Synergy computer.
>>11819542>>11819541my point is they saw the colors and their mind went there too.of course, their mind goes there for everything so...
>>11819539>Normal person: sneezes>LgbtqRTVAGD+ people: OMG, HE'S ONE OF US!
>>11819566>of course, their mind goes there for everything so...So does yours, apparently.
Y'all know you can just edit the page yourself to change the caption, right? It's a wiki, that's the point. Make the new joke a Jem reference. Just put "those aren't the trans colors btw" or something in the edit note.
>>11819572just a joke anon. I forgot. Only the wiki can make jokes. Make fun of them and the fag force flies into action
>>11819581buddy what the fuck are you babbling about
>>11819582>whaaaa? read da thread? whaaaaa?
>>11819585In what way did you misinterpret my post to think this was an applicable response?
Who else is getting the Jem pack? Be honest.
>>11819593because you apparently missed this >>11819542and what I said is clearly true because here is >>11819541>>11819542>>11819572>>11819576and you >>11819582 all jumping in because I dared make a comment about the wikiI mean you all could've just ignored it, and the conversation would be over but I know you cant DO THAT.
>>11819598Anon...BTW, >>11819417 is also me. And >>11819549, which you seemed to have missed. You've also apparently missed my point: the joke is bad, because it's incorrect, no matter who is making it, you or the single wiki guy.
>>11819598>all jumping in because I dared make a comment about the wikiHow did you misinterpret those posts as jumping in in defense of the wiki
>>11819606so then how were you confused by >>11819581I was just making a joke too. Just like you said they were just making a joke.and it doesn't matter if it's "correct". my point was that more than one person saw it. it wasn't one anon pulling it out of nowhere. but thanks for confirming just how much of an expert you are on that sort of thing, and why you're continuing to sperg over all this. I DID say you wouldn't be able to let it go. Keep at it!
>>11819598do you genuinely have a learning disability
>>11819613See? Still going. They'll eat up half a thread about this.I made one comment about the wiki..>that's just a joke!>it's not even a good joke>you're the one thinking about it>you know you can just change the caption>who cares anyway?>whatever you do, DON'T BRING UP THE WIKI BLAGGHHHHjust one comment.
>>11819615>so then how were you confused by >>11819581Because... literally no one said only the wiki can make jokes. You pulled that out of your ass, out of nowhere. How are you not following your own conversation?
https://news.tfw2005.com/2026/06/13/cyberworld-high-seas-heroes-multipack-listing-found-566406Hmm. I'm guessing a repack of Pirate Scourge with two or three little redecos in shades of blue.
>>11819623see? >>11819616look at the frothing? They could just ignore the guy with the "learning disability". The thread is about toys.but they won't. A comment triggered them.
>>11819623>whatever you do, DON'T BRING UP THE WIKI BLAGGHHHHStill specially stands out. Can you point out where someone said this? I'm curious where you saw this.
>>11819624still going. >literally no one said only the wiki can make jokes.Obviously, I CAN'T. Look at how you're reacting because I did.just a joke anon.
>>11819572This anon gets it
>>11819627>Still speciallySorry, THIS specially*. Not sure where "still" came from.
>>11819627that was the collective sperg all in five minutes where I saw every possible reaction TO mentioning the wikito reiterate >>11819541>>11819542>>11819549>>11819572>>11819576>>11819582>>11819593>>11819616oh and now >>11819627keep proving my point
>>11819629>Obviously, I CAN'T. Look at how you're reacting because I did.OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.I get it now. I understand what's happening here. You're schizoing out because you think you're the main character, and it's a great insult that someone told you that you were being stupid.>>11819632Literally none of those posts are saying you can't bring up the wiki.
>>11819634still going....
Spending the limited time you have wisely I see
>>11819597I just want it for Glit, Sundor and Rosanna.
>>11819632It seems like you genuinely need help understanding this: People can call you out for being stupid without also defending the thing you happen to hate. Which is what happened here. You misunderstood this, and are the one freaking out in this whole convo, not the other people. You are the one that's having a massive overreaction over nothing, not the other people.
>>11819642Same. Gonna set em up to sing "Transformer" together.
>>11819650I'm new to this conversation, you fucking moron. The other anon was right, though, you need to get a grip. No one is trying to get other people to think you're wrong, everyone is individually trying to make you understand that you're wrong.Your point was that multiple people can independently think of the same joke, right? The same applies here. Multiple people independently think you're being stupid and are trying to help you understand that you're being stupid. They aren't being influence by each other, it's not a coordinated attack on innocent little you. You are simply being stupid.
>>11819650>If I was such a babbling whacko, it would be obvious to everyoneIt is. Do you not understand that's how you're being perceived?
>>11819597I've got no attachment to Jem but I'll admit I'm tempted, though it's a hard sell considering I already have the shattered glass version of the mold
>>11819532Venon repaint? That’s one way to make a new character.
>>11819667The Deluxe Insecticons actually have been depicted in the normal Insecticon black/purple/yellow colour scheme before... in the MLP crossover comics
>>11819676
>>11819680>These bloody things are everywhere. They're in the lift, in the lorry, in the bond wizard, and all over the malonga gilderchuck!
>>11819680What's the point of including Venom if you're not going to make him the Insecticon leader?
>>11819539yeah, well,
>>11819687He's never been shown as leader. Ever. Even the toys state that technically Kickback is leader.
>>11819687because it's fun?
>>11819681>Insecticons? I'd'a called 'em chazwuzzahs
>>11819690Nope! Venom's toy bio outright calls him leader and has a higher rank stat than any other Insecticon. It's also appeared in his DW bio.
>>11819704>Cicadas are not venomous, and are really loud>there are three cicada transformers>two focus on being venomous>the last one is the only one that does anything related to sound
>>11819513>>11819525>>11819339so is a Missing Link Jetfire possible or no since it's a Macross toy
>>11819708I wish. So, so hard.
>>11819707I don't think dinosaurs breathe fire either, so it is okay.
>>11819542Not that anon but I have a question about this I didnt want ti bring up the other day because I didnt want to ruin the thread. But it looks like the thread is ruined so lol.Why does the wiki say G1 Overload is nonbinary and why does it say Archidas from BW Neo and G1 Howlback are trannies?https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Category:Transgender_charactershttps://tfwiki.net/wiki/Category:Nonbinary_characters
>>11819713Overload, no idea. Archadis and Howlback are listed like that because of certain versions of them from incredibly obscure fiction.
>>11819713No idea. Overlord in G1 has two Godmasters/humans piloting it, but the guy is mostly in control. When he gets turned into a real tranaformer, Overlord is male.
>>11819690>he is unaware of the time Venom ignored Megatron's orders and then freaked him out by just standing there saying nothing
hey guys, I asked in this other thread >>11819536 but do you think this CDL-02 alt figure actually resembles the character or could it pass as an OC sexy robot girl?I'm not into Transformers but I like the design a lot for obvious reasons. I'm thinking about getting it but if it's too recognizable as the character it's based on I probably won't
>>11819720Are you asking if it looks like Elita One? Cuz it totally does.
>>11819722>Are you asking if it looks like Elita One?yeah. I like the design as simply an anime girl robot, but having it tied to a pre-established character ruins the appeal for me quite a lot and makes it a lot more tacky and goonerish imo
>>11819720It's anime-style Elita-1, and very easily recognizable as such. Her colors have always fluctuated between orange/red and pink/white (mostly to help distinguish her from Arcee), but the head shape is pretty distinctive.
>>11819708I genuinely can't think of anything less likely to happen than Missing Link Jetfire.Although, after what they've done with Ironhide/Ratchet, I suppose a Missing Link Skyfire wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.
>>11819736>I genuinely can't think of anything less likely to happen than Missing Link Jetfire. What about Takara and Bandai agreeing to reissue the G1 toy?
>>11819738Okay. Maybe that.
I got my first hasbro tf since 2023.
>>11819740
>>11819738No not that
>>11819707in fairness, cicadas are members of the 'bug' family, of which many are venomous, and ALL are vampires, with piercing, sucking mouthparts.Granted, most of them are vampires for plants. but still. stabby sucky.
>>11819712wouldnt surprise me even a little. Way too many stories from way too many different places and time periods line up way too well.
>>11819740Good choice anon.
>>11819750He looks so happy.I dont know what made me want him after giving up Hasbro for so long. The colors, my love of glup shittos, maybe warching Dunbine. Its just such a good design.
>>11819743ah yes, the annual cicarda
>>11819752Imagine a fleet of giant cicadas with tiny muscle cars revving up their engines flying up and down your street
>>11819753Like they weren't noisy enough
>>11819754note to selfif I ever do that bug RPG idea, cicadas are hell's angels.
>>11819713>>11819716>>11819717They're all from a one-off alternate universe presented in a couple Ask Vector Prime questions. The Arcee from this universe is also trans, notably the only version of Arcee aside from IDW1 Arcee to be trans (and is obviously inspired by IDW1)
>>11819784stop using prefixes as adjectives
>>11819740I must admit that tobot mode is cool even though I hate bugformers
>>11819339>>11819513I just want animation style Jetfire that isn't a fucking SDCC exclusive
>>11819784why are they like this?
>>11819513wish this version had the add-on pieces to turn him into the toy version
>>11819834He doesn’t have the mask?
>>11819834Wastes of plastic, they shouldn't have been included in first place.
>>11819843Worst thing I can say about them is they should have leaned harder into the Valkyrie look and given him the full shoulder cannons/booster pack, like a larger and better articulated Classics Jetfire.
>>11819845The mask is the biggest sin, if you're going to try and pretend to be Macross Jetfire then you better fucking have antennae
>>11819818A) their fathers didnt raise them rightB) they were molested (and not in the okay way like before we had 'personal space', but in the harmful way, at the hands of the people who invented the personal space concept)C) they were brainwashed by worn-out old women and threatened at every sign of defiance until they brokeD) all of the aboveThe real question is how the fuck Beast Megatron ended up like he is. They seem to KIND OF have families, but this guy is not drinking the same kool-aid as the rest of the preds. He's got a weird complex.
>>11819845they were probably afraid of a lawsuit
>>11819818They're retarded. The bigger question is why do other people actually go along with this garbage?
>>11819856a lot of people were making money off them
>>11819856https://youtu.be/8TMHIYDHMSE?si=xY8MYnX8Ie83GbF7&t=95
>>11819843Yeah, all those weapons were awful. Who would want all of that. In fact, send them all to me, so I can pass them around my figu- I-I mean melt them down!
>>11819836Nope. Also on mine I coloured in the Autbot symbol with a sharpie, because you will notice in anon's pic that it's unpainted in the Void Rivals set.
>>11819856>The bigger question is why do other people actually go along with this garbage?I mean... no one did. This universe's content began and ended within that day. Not sure what's you're mad about, you've literally seen the totality of the concept.
>>11819934>I meandon't be
>>11819871>remove parts from the first release and charge MORE money for it
>>11819951hey, they TRIED serving their customers well, and what did it get them? Success, fame, legacy.. who the fuck wants that?
It was cool how the guns could pivot to be used in both modes without needing to be taken off, so lets just remove that and leave him naked.
Got these two very different boys today
>>11819967Wonder if they'll re-release The Quintesson Judge in the SS line.
>>11819967Kranix looks so weird, you could tell me he and 86 Magnus were from different toylines
>>11819968From JTPrime's leaks he's to be re-released next year.
>>11819968Allicon too.
latest wave of toys (except swindle and cyclonus) is currently price dropped on amazon btw
>>11819968It's in the listingsSo prepare for either a kingdom refresh or a superficial update like Shockwave
>>11819976I usually just wait until closer to release to buy. It's not like they're gonna fly off the shelves except maybe Swindle.
>>11819981this works together way better than it has any right to
>>11819982They might change the prices though
>>11819981Looks like someone's taking home their hunting trophy.
>>11819981
Kranix should have lived and become Rodimus's Alpha Trion.>>11819967>>11819981Nice, Kranix is awesome and Outback looks great too.>>11819976Cool, I preordered Fangry, Swindle and Tailgate, so it's good to know 2/3 dropped to normal prices. Sort of tempted by Unicron's Herald, but I'm kind of too disappointed by what could have been if they'd used the Liege mold instead of Megatronus for him.>>11819982Though like this anon said, Swindle is probably the only one in this wave that really has any chance of selling out.
>>11819987Yeah, but I'm weary about pre-ordering from sites with unreliable street dates, I don't want to risk being charged while unprepared.
>>11819976This might be the worst wave in years, total dogshit
>>11820010I wanted the PM, but it looks so bad. They literally made these TR figurines and they're perfect for this, but instead they retooled a TM and the toy doesn't even have a gun.
>>11819934>Not sure what's you're mad about, you've literally seen the totality of the concept.Whew thank god that is the last time anyone ever saw a weird trans character in something.
Tailgate is a such a shitter, nobody buy him til he drops below $20
>>11814142Nah, that's an annual mook (Magazine + Book) that Takara do, it is titled Generations simply as it predate the toyline acronym we know a decade earlier>>11814907Nope, the Green Lio Convoy chapter suggest that they are aware of their universe's creation through Angolmois energy, meaning Generation Selects' events are at least known https://tetstoys.blogspot.com/2026/05/green-lio-convoy-new-legends-manga.htmlspeaking of, 2050 Optimus Prime did die back then in GS (for a short time), his reconfiguration matrix brought him back to life which enabled him to remember his adventures as 2011 Star Convoy>>11819720Get CDL-03, it's is the closest to an OC (real inspiration was TETSUYA NOMURA 's Play Arts Kai Catwoman toy)>>11820051You might underestimate the IDW hive mind
>>11820080We need a virgin Ask Vector Prime vs chad Japanese Legends comics meme
>>11820080>You might underestimate the IDW hive mindTo be fair, so did James Roberts. During his Q&A he was visibly disturbed with how far his fans took it.
>>11819687what >>11819691 said and the fact forcing him to the front isn't going to help anything. He wasn't in the cartoon and was a "Who?" that got melted (literally) by Galvatron. Forcing him to be the leader in a crossover that was aimed at an audience that at best knows the cartoon lore and nothing else would have been odd if it had no extra context like he was such a bad leader that he was demoted and Shrapnel became leader with some lesson to be learned from it.
Can I mention this now? Notice how Rosanna got her arm guns while her brothers Eject and Rewind don't. That's because those guns are gangmolded with the new Blaster's keytar, which is extremely stupid. Should have included those with Steeljaw back when they made him in Core Class.
>>11820136Yep, and the best part is Rosanna is the one version of the mold that was better off without weapons.
>>11820140Just pretend those are tools not weapons. Like dilators or something
>>11819563Teletroon 1
>>11820156Yeah those actors in Beast Wars could never say the name right.
>>11820136Supposedly those guns will be in next year's cassette pack.
>>11820164Isn't the rewind/eject mold is gang-molded with Blaster? Though I guess they've split mold mates before (Ratbat w/ Thundertron set, Ravage with Target OP)
>>11820158its funny how the series finale had to dedicate themselves a moment to adress they kept pronoucing it wrong.
>>11820170I mean, remember, SS86 Soundwave and his cassettes are entirely new molds from the Micromaster and Siege molds, and somehow Laserbeak and Ravage still avoided being gangmolded by some kind of part tied to Soundwave just to be released as Glit and Sundor. The guns on Rosanna (who is gangmolded with Blaster's chest window) are apparently gangmolded with the Jem collab's keytar, because we haven't seen those damn things in five years despite the hands having the holes for them. And yes, not even 86 Blaster and Perceptor came with those guns, so it took them five forkin years for those guns for the modern Generations Eject mold to be made.
Forgot to make one of these for Venin when I was being a bugbitch with the other insecticons a few threads ago.>>11819740>>11819743Fun pics, I think you chose well. Such a good, unique design and a pretty cool toy, even if I wish his wrists rotated.

>>11820345cancel and reorder? only the insecticon pack is still in stock it seems
I haven't checked those DCS sets, but my friend got the Insecticon pack and I learned they packed several accesories from the Centurion pack. Did they add some of the others in another set?
>>11819740>>11819743>>11820284Mark needs to get over his thing with clear plastic.
>>11820080>You might underestimate the IDW hive mindI'd probably be considered part of it by half of /tfg/ (even though I only like them before they became gay for zero reason) but I'm not even getting him because he looks nothing like the IDW design (the only one I have any attachment to)
>>11820396I mostly dislike how they molded that back piece right into his head, it just looks awful, I don't care if it's animation accurate, I just hope Wipeout is accurate since he just had a normal head with a visor.
>>11820387I only got the Thundercracker/Camera set and no just the camera accessories the Siege threepack came with + krymzeek
>>11820348Holy shit, I just tried this with my Onslaught and Starscream pre-order and it fucking worked. A little sad I ordered them together since it only took $10 off the order, but then Onslaught was only $39.99 so it probably wouldn't have applied to him. Still, can't complain. Thanks for letting me know about this OP, I'll be doing this for my future pre-orders.

I gave up on even reading any of it.IDW was suffering from the same thing when the IDW universe was coming to an end. It was suddenly crossing over with all these other shitty things like GI Joe and several literal who cartoons from the 80's.
>>11820699>I just want transformers, doing transformer thingsSo just read the Transformers books. You get, like, a smidge of G.I. Joe (which has always shared a universe with TF) and M.A.S.K. (which is about amazing change-o-vehicles as well) in them.
>>11820718>You get, like, a smidge of G.I. Joe and M.A.S.K.A smidge of shit, is already too much shit.
>>11820699Ehhh, that's not entirely fair. If you just read Transformers, not the other Energon Universe stuff, there's not much crossover-age going on in the average issue. Phase three of IDW was, like, 75% crossovers. And it was ass.
>>11820645how tf??????
>>11820719Nah it's been pretty great, actually>Starscream using a HISS tank as a wheelchair>General Flagg being an entertaining jackass>Miles Mayhem melting people with acid
>>11820722wouldn't starscream's entire torso be the size of a HISS tank? did he lose his legs?
>>11820727>did he lose his legs?Soundwave was... unhappy that Starscream punted Ravage across the room. Starscream found himself falling into lava.
>>11820727>did he lose his legs?Yes. But don't worry, he eventually got better. ...And then much worse.
>>11820734The gratuitous robot gore to make it more mature actually makes it feel less mature. The Optimus toy is still fucking cool, thoughever.
>>11820735so in essence he became a Guntank?that's actually kind of hilarious, I had a cool Wolverine figure whose pelvis broke and he lost his legs, so I put him in my HISS tank in the gunner seat. it worked.
>>11820722I'd buy a HISS tank Screamer and I don't even give a shit about G.I. Joe (though the Joe book is actually working for me in a way I didn't expect when the shared universe thing first got announced). Void Rivals is the only part of the Energon Universe that isn't doing it for me and I don't even think it's bad per se, I just have no handle on the plot and characters right now.
>>11820737>so in essence he became a Guntank?Pretty much, yes. Check it out.
>>11820745Holy fuck. Kill me now
>>11820745decently rad, though the scalefag in me wants to object. I know he needs to shut his pie-hole. but he's secretly mad at regular-me because I used to think Arwings were like the size of beds.
>>11820721Because I forgot a word. I mean combined $20 off. I wish they were $20.
>>11820750I THOUGHT that might be what you meant
>>11819704>can fly for 300 miles>going 15mph
>>11820595It could've been a new mold but since Jem is a hasbro IP they didn't put any effort in it.
>>11820694The show was animated by a group of Japanese animators that really loved cars. Every vehicle in it was based on a real life automobile and was usually drawn with unusually high detail.
>>11820754Budiansky bios for the Insecticons had it so any of them could shrink down to the size of actual bugs, and he'd flip between if the specs were for the bug sized bugs or full sized ones.
>>11820577I already have that one in way better colors.
>>11820765
>>11820766
>Saw something I wanted at a good price>Includes something I don't want>Hesitate so much, that the item sells outIt wasn't something I really wanted as a full package, but I'm still annoyed.
I used up all my willpower to delete Energon Treadbolt from my Ebay cart because I know I dont need it. Only to add 3 or 4 more transformers to my wishlist on other sites. Everything is so expensive but looks so cool its not fair.
>>11820766I love Starscream just swatting humans like bugs. Kinda hard to feel sympathetic for his tragic backstory shit in light of it, however.
>>11820767what happened to the cat?
>>11820470At least half the questions were about who tops who, and can he canonize their headcanon ships. Yeah, I would be scared too.
>>11820855that's what you get when you pander to those kinds of fans
>>11820848pretty sure we don't see it and the last guy Starscream keeps alive after this issue, so they probably died panel
>>11820961:(
>>11819740>>11819743Possibly one of the best bots of 2026, and I dont like bugs. Just such a fun and colourful figure.Solid chice anon.
>>11820961>>11820848It's up on Starscream's shoulder
>>11820981>after this issue
>Armada Nemesis Prime and Minicon jet set is sold out on PulseDammit, I was waiting for it to go on sale. Anywhere else I could get it from for a reasonable price?
>>11821004yeah i'm running into that issue too.
>>11821004lol I think me and a different anon bought the last two, had ordered mineva few days ago with powerlinx red alert, and then a different anon got him shortly after. Now I'm just waiting on them to ship it. Hope they do it soon.
>>11821004I think the Red Alert Minicon set pushed people.People may have been holding out to see if the Air Defense Mini-Con Team was going to be re-issued elsewhere. When their repaints showed up, instead, people figured "now or never"
>>11821021>>11821027>>11821040I think I’m going to wait on a reissue then. Especially if one of the minicons gets remolded slightly to fix a breakage issue.
>>11821042it could take years mind you, so far the only Pulse exclusive to get a reissue is Centurion and that won't be due till next year and by that point 7 years have gone by. aftermarket is already a bitch.
Posting some Blaster in honor of the Jem redeco. I don't know if I'm outrageous enough to pick it up, but it really is a great mold.
>>11821054And one for the little guys. Forever waiting on Rewind...
>>11821054the Kiss Players cassettes are definitely a valid reason to get it for.
>>11820756you understand why that's even MORE surprising, right? 80s japanese were not into awooga cars, they were into hot sports cars. the kind that drift.
>>11821042>I think I’m going to wait on a reissue then.He was a Botcon exclusive, bro. He's not getting a reissue.
>>11821054You bought two Steeljaws, didn't you?
>>11821056could always go with that Twincast set
>>11821059If there are niggas who spend all day watching trains, I'm sure there are people who like different kinds of cars than racing ones.
Will jem blaster end up on pulse?
>>11820761>I love that old-time automo!>The kinda vehicle that stop n' go
>>11820766how fucking dumb are traitors. do they just never watch TV? never read a comic book? unaware of the basic logic that a guy you just 'ingratiated yourself to' by betraying your own side is now ON your side, which you just proved you'll betray?
>>11820965He's very close to me liking him a lot, but I just have to be a stickler on the leg base shape, and the bug mode is a tad boxy and slightly oddly proportioned. and I say that as a big fan of Cicadacon, whose huge bug head is technically wrong in both modes, but looks good. In particular, cicadas have lil mantis arms that need to be kept.
>>11821085well that's why I didn't say it's UNTHINKABLE, just surprising. That kind of car is uncharacteristic of both 80s valley girls and 80s japanese animators.
>>11821067NTA but no self respecting Blaster fan would leave him with only one speaker.
Anyone have them newbee armada optimus and nemesis heads? Impulse bought both since the pics they showed for them looked nice
>>11821087Yes.
Ive been watching RID(2015) and... a furry absolutely worked on this show, right? All these anthro to vehicle bots just scream furry lmao.
>>11821145I only got the Optimus head and I love it. To me it elevates an already great the figure to near perfection.
>>11821144We'll probably get the second speaker whenever they release a Nightprowler (Marvel version was just another Ravage, G1 turned him into a Steeljaw repaint).
Did anyone see the leak of next year’s Walmart capsule subline: Megatron Rising Resistsnce?
>>11821160Yeah it looks much closer to the show, glad I got them now.
I got Legacy Bombshell, brand new in box on eBay for only $15. I also have Kickback in my BBTS pile of loot. I don’t need Shrapnel but I do want to get the Chop Shop/Barrage set at some point.
Chat, if I dont have trypticon, do I want gigastorm? I dig the big horn. Also gives me Zoids vibes.
>>11821174aren't they the same thing?
>>11821181For the most part, but giga has that big horn, and different coloring in some areas.
>>11821184I sold my black zarak for 400 bucks but I want another. I like the big dinos though. Never had one before
>>11821181One is a city, the other is just a big dude... until now he is also a city.Seriously though, two very very different characters. Trypticon is almost always some variation of a deception super weapon, with personality ranging from posh genius, to rampaging monster, to eldrich demon spaceship man.Gigastorm on the other hand is beast wars Galvatron's dumb ass younger brother who gets mutated by unicron juice into slightly bigger bw Galvatron's dumb ass younger brother. If you consider how kinda generally retarded the bwII predacons are he fits in perfectly. The show really only starts getting higher sakes once Unicron starts manipulating shit.
>>11821189>Gigastormhuh , never knew there was a beast wars 2
>>11821125wtf are you trying to say here
>>11819720Her colors are usually brighter, but that head is very distinctly Elita-1, unfortunately.
The horn really sells it. Thinking I'll get him over Tryp.
>>11821191I'm saying everyone who betrays their guys to save their own skin should be fucking aware it's not gonna work. First thing the bad guy will do, like in this page, is kill you. Because now he knows he can't trust you. It's like imagine you used a snake to poison someone. are you gonna keep that sucker in a terrarium and feed it nice mice for the rest of its life? no.
>>11821197Why not? Snakes are cute.
>>11821190There's also a BW Neo! They were Japan-only animes made as filler while Japan waited for the rest of Beast Wars proper to finish production so they could dub seasons 2 and 3, and in II's case to advertise the toys that weren't in the original Beast Wars show. The characters of Beast Wars II (pronounced "Beast Wars Second") are MOSTLY redecos/remolds of existing toys. The Maximals were all organic animals (non-show BW molds) and the Predacons were mostly vehicles, with some animal modes. There were a grade total of THREE fully original toy molds: Lio Convoy, Galvatron, and Moon.Inversely, Beast Wars Neo was nearly all new toy molds, with a sprinkling of decos and remolds. Both sides stuck to organic beast modes this time, with the Maximals being living species and the Predacons being extinct ones.Plot-wise, II and Neo are connected and both take place in the FAR, FAR future, even by "present day" BW/BM standards. Optimus Primal is a legendary warrior of the past by II/N's time.
>>11821197who are you thinking betrayed who's guys herei think you've misunderstood the page
>>11819324I wonder if the semi-transparent glitter plastic will suffer GPS like effects.
>>11821201>and both take place in the FAR, FAR future, even by "present day" BW/BM standards. So far that, until the recent "end of the universe" Legends comics, BWN was the endpoint of the JP G1 timeline for over two decades.
>>11821204I don't see any transparent plastic here. Also, I've never heard of any issues with toy plastic with actual glitter in it.
>>11821204Looks like opaque plastic with glitter flecks, which would still show up on the exterior of the plastic, even if it's not transparent.
>>11821203a human disabled another human's failsafe against starscream. Starscream praised the disabler, then smashed her into a fine red mist.
>>11821223that wasn't betrayal, that was just her being a gullible dumbass. she genuinely thought she was helping her team
>>11821243ohwell my point remains accurate even if it's not apt.
>>11821210They were never clear if Car Robot characters came from further in the future, but the recent material seems to strongly imply that Car Robot characters are from a later point than Neo, since they recently established that post Neo, the new united faction of Cybertrons and Destrons were now Maximals, with Predacons being the guys who rebelled against that society (they're not a huge faction) and all seem to be Transmetal II looking bots, like the Car Robot villains.
>>11821058True and I am tempted for them more than anything.>>11821067I couldn't resist.>>11821144Like this Blasterbro said, it just had to be done. Second Steeljaw was also a BBTS substandard with a slightly battered box, so I at least have the financial cope of not paying full price for the second.>>11821068I've thought about it, especially when Twincast was pretty cheap awhile ago, but I just don't care for the clear plastic on Rewind.
>>11820577tux remold never
>>11821149Jose Lopez already started giving TFs animalistic features during TF Prime, like how Starscream's chest looks like a snake.
>>11821173While I'm a tooner who usually prefers accuracy to the source material with G1 characters, I have to admit that purple chest Bombshell does add some stylistic consistency to the rest of the team with his design. And it's weird that Shrapnel is the hardest of the Legacy Insecticons to come by right now, because he's the one I care the least about too. Definitely get Chopshop if you can though, he's the chad version of Shrapnel.

Just started Legion of the Lost in the Marvel comics. This asshole is fucking cool. What's the consensus on his Siege toy?
>>11821639That's for sure, as an owner of the Encore I never cared about the Titans Return one. That base mode is a joke.
>>11821667I think it's good enough like how a lot of the Classics/Henkei era was good enough.
How long does it usually take hasbro to ship? Been two days so far.
>>118216823-4 business usually
>>11821539He had a purple body in the toy and Marvel comics, and even a lot of animation frames in Sunbow because lol Sunbow being consistent. Gray Bombshell never made sense and should be treated for what it was: an error.
>>11821667I think it's great, but to get the most value out of it you'd also want the PotP duocons which are more expensive. They can trade pants though, very cool. The one real flaw is that the tabs holding the tank mode together are fiddly and always pop open
>>11821667fun in concept but at least for my copy the tank mode just refuses to hold together. like every part of the tank's rear needs to move another few millimeters to fold together neatly but can't
>>11821681>like how a lot of the Classics/Henkei era was good enough.Nah. At least classics/henkei always had their own sense of style.>>11821719It's pretty easy to fix if you have a razor/exacto knife and aren't a toddler.
How reliable is TFsource with their preorders? They have the Chop Shop and Barrage set that I missed out on for pre-order.

Hey fair warning to anyone importing transformers from other countries. DO NOT USE DHL IF YOU WANT YOUR TRANSFORMERS INTACT.Source: https://www.dhl.com/discover/en-hk/logistics-advice/import-export-advice/customs-regulatory-updates
>>11822035oh good, because they haven't already made importing enough of a pain in the ass
>>11821004>>11821895>>11821042>>11821021Wasn't Armada Nemesis last year's SDCC exclusive? Those don't go on sale, and they don't get restocked - once they're gone, they're gone, so you can't afford to be cheap with those. He lingered on Pulse for ages; you guys had plenty of time to nab him, especially after Powerlinx Red Alert was announced. Now he's gone for good. Enjoy paying the scalper's tax, as that's the only way you're getting him now.
>>11822070To be fair, I haven't been around this long enough to know the differences in what gets restocked and what doesn't. I thought Pulse exclusives were just only through Hasbro but I didn't think they'd outright sell out and that was it.
>>11822035Why are they doing this all of the sudden? What the fuck?
>>11821799oh that... that is fucking cool as hell.I assume it's like 40 bucks
I kinda wish I bought two Nemesis now, to have one as a sealed back up incase something happened to the one I open... plus he looks good in the box.
>>11822035oh hey more government overregulation that serves only to oppress, while antitrust laws are completely ignored. fun!
>>11822098I was planning to buy a few when it hit clearance price to sell the Nemesis' and the Star Sabers separately, but I bought the one I needed for myself a while ago so I'm fine.
>>11822075>I thought Pulse exclusives were just only through Hasbro but I didn't think they'd outright sell out and that was it.There's a difference between a Pulse exclusive and a Convention exclusive. Pulse exclusives are sold only directly from Hasbro, but do periodically get restocked. Convention exclusives are made in limited batches for events (like San Diego Comic Con, the event Nemesis was sold at), with whatever is left over being made available on Pulse for those who couldn't attend - but only while supplies last. Once those sell out, that's it, so if you miss the window, you miss out for good.
>>11822121That still varies though. Some con exclusives are sold normally in other parts of the world. Notably, the Throne POTP was a normal release in Japan.A shame Nemesis got such a lousy release, it's like they did everything to make it awful.
>>11822155Seriously, even on a conceptual level, everything was terrible:-Bloated price tag with nothing to justify it.-Damaged face isn't painted properly.-Doesn't include the alt parts for the regular face, when parts swapping is pretty easy with that head.-No trailer-His own minicon is missing.-Da-Has the Star Saber instead of the Dark Saber, could have also thrown in a vorpal saber based on the one included with POTP Nemesis, just with a modified handle so this figure can hold it.
>>11821593audible heh
>>11821593When are we getting the other synnergex figure?
>>11822173Not only did they exclusive lock the star saber but sonar has breakage issues if misassembled and runways hands are just out? Is that mistransformed?
>>11822287>but sonar has breakage issuesTrue to the original at least
>>11822310Jetstorm has the breakage issues on his chest. Not sure if Sonar has any problems, aI haven't heard any.
Having Liokaiser in-hand, the small heads were avoidable, this must have been a budget issue: -All the arm modes needed to widen the area were the head is hidden and apply spring loaded ears for hellbat.-Liozack only needed a bigger head, there's more than enough space under the jet cockpit, the flaps don't do anything to hide the head, so might as well remove them.-Both Killbison and Drillhorn could have gotten bigger heads with some tweaks. Kill bison has more than enough space and his horns could collapse like the cw version, while Drillho4n only needed to change the drill connection around to make the head bigger.I'm not sure why they were okay with making most heads so tiny.
>>11822369Uhmm aktually its anime accurate to have tiny heads
>>11822377I wish, but both chatacter art and screenshot give the individual robots bigger heads, they don't even need to mimic the anime size, just make them large enough to not give them pin heads.
The KP Casettes ACTUALLY have the "KP" label? I thought they were trying to skirt away from that.
>>11822442They didn't say the full name, so that was probably the best they could do. Hasbeo will somethings sprinkle copyright info related to a show logo and/or name, but they probably ignored the Kiss Player name for obvious reasons.
>>11822287Why'd they make it so much chunkier too? Why do hasbro love cube-ifying and chunk-ifying things?
>>11822455This is a huge assumption, but after the Micromasters, they probably made them as big as Jolt to give them better articulation and ball joints that don't pop off as easily. They may have made the tip chunkier to make the blade wider, but we'd have to ask the design team to really know.
>>11822455I like the new sonar, always thought the lines on the old one looked meh. Really want a big blue sword effect to plug into him.
>>11822455a huge number of people constantly whine about transformers being too round now, they want them blocky like in the past
>>11822468But what about accuracy?
>>11822494accuracy must be compromised on animation models that didn't draw toy joints into the toys.this is why no RX-78 Gundam is ever 100% show accurate, but later ones can be.
>>11822468Yeah, but having Jetstorm and Runway be so chunky completely destroys the sword silhouette, especially now that their limbs are just hanging out in plain sight. The original had them slender enough that there was a clear, stretched-out diamond shape to them with Sonar forming a clearly defined pommel and blade guard underneath. The chunkier, rounded look of the new one with all those parts protruding so far past their undersides just makes them look like a mid-air collision in progress rather than a sword.
>>11822556oh I agree. i like variety. I want square boys, round boys, spindly boys, beasty boys, all the shapes. Even those overcomplicated chinesey ones, once in a while.
This dude is currently 16 bucks on Amazon so I got him. Not into football but for that price I'll pick one up plus his color scheme is cool enough to be a generic bot compared to some of the other teams>>11822035Only import I have on order is G2 Menasaor for HobbyGenki and he's coming FedEx so I guess I'm safe
>>11822556I dont think either are convincing as a sword, but the new one could have been much more animation accurate.
>>11822035God why does everything continue to get worse.
>>11822581I would have loved if Jetstorm and Sonar actually combined by the wings to make a better sword shape. I'm also annoyed the new set can't peg onto transformers, only Sonar has a peg, the others don't get that or peg holes.
>>11822578it's sad yknow, I'm super okay with a football-THEMED transformer. I can totally see one of them 'going native' and loving earth sports, even trying to make a cybertronian leagueit's just turning into a helmet that doesn't feckin work for me. It literally only exists because people collect miniature football helmets of the teams they like. He should turn into like, a van that the guys go to the game in, or something. what's another sports-themed vehicle, I don't into the sports.
>>11822603>a football-THEMED transformerWasn't that literally just Ejecthttps://files.catbox.moe/69njaq.jpg
>>11822605sure but like, what if also his looks instead of just his personality. like if he had huge shoulders like a linebacker, and a round helmet head.. maybe that cool thigh armor footballsmen wear sometimes.
>>11822610By this description I'm reminded of my initial impressions about the Legacy/whatever Chase I ended up getting. Weird mouthplate, probably could add those cage-looking bumpers police cars have, there's probably a bunch of irrelevant but neat altmodes you could have, instead of something like>literally turns into a helmet>or a ball>or 11 guys
>>11822624>11 guyskek>ballhonestly would not mind that.. Geometric shapes make okay transformers because you can always say it's a projectile mode or something, a reentry mode... uh, a planet, if it's the orb kinda ball.
>>11822626>honestly would not mind thatBut anon your shellformers
>>11822603I like Breakaway; him turning into a soccer ball sounds stupid, but is oddly satisfying in its simplicity. I still want them to reuse the mold to make a Krok (and maybe pack in that gator-gun dude from the RotB line to be Gatoraider to go with him).
>>11822605I wish he'd get another issue to do stuff. He was only relevant once.
>>11822633oh right, I forgot to specifyNO SHELLFORMERSjust let the body parts be made of parts of that orb/egg. If you can't find a way to make that cool, you're not thinking very hard. look at Beastboxen and how they fit things into cubes.>>11822635perfect example. i'd buy a recolor of him for sure.
>pimple facedFuckI really hate how Hasbro always managed to have that 1% qc issue on the most important part when everything else that is lower priority they can do it 100% correctly Rest of the team are fine same goes for the combined head. >Call the customer support Do they even consider this a QC issue?
>>11822643>Hey, I paid that pilmple-faced bill months ago!that's a pretty tiny blemish compared to the reverse paint slop on the sides and top of the face.I have to imagine that in-hand, all of these issues are completely invisible.
>HITo be fair if this is a retail release I think I will be perfectly fine with this But for exclusive like this I don't know I do have to wonder why rest of the wing can be painted perfectly yet they always have some issue with the face? I'm not sure if the wings are painted differently or what. I'm pretty sure all the faces are painted and not stamp on.
>>11822645I'd go as far as to say it's microscopic compared to the irregularities in the plastic itself.
>>11822647The thing is the teal on the airplane is a mix between the painted vs bare plastic The shoulder is painted but rest of the body besides the back of the fuselage is bare plastic. The back which is the combined chest makes sense as it js one whole white plastic. But the shoulders I don't understand >>11822645>I have to imagine that in-hand, all of these issues are completely invisible. You can see the dark spot from the shadow on the left side of the cheek even if you don't see the actual pimpleThen again issue like this often show up in regular retail releases And you literally have one of the unboxing people from YouTube from the state literally has a chipped nose on leozak and he is saying the paint job is great...
As a long holiday is coming soon and I have the thing delivered to my office, not going to play with them all but I will take death cobra with me. What a thick helicopter
>>11822640Yeah... poor guy, and now he's doubly overshadowed by Rewind. >>11822603>what's another sports-themed vehicle, I don't into the sports.Zambonis for hockey and golf carts is all I can think of. And theyre so stupid I want to see them as transformers now.
>>11822655I am a bit miffed by how paint and plastic often don't match. I mean if it's acrylic paint, it ought to be able to, oughtn't it? Then again, translucency comes into play... Really my only paint complaints have been a few baffling choices on the Premium Finish Beast Wars guys, a few of which are worse than the Hasbro versions at least in terms of hue or consistency. But I do think this tiny speck is bugging you more than it should. I mean, does the flash under the head bug you? the crack in the neck ring? They're about the same size.
>>11822656That is some pretty egregious kibble, but I think cargo copters like that exist?>>11822661looks like a Guyver villain now. I kinda weirdly like it.I used to entertain the idea of customizing Tri-rex into a plausible predacon team
>>11822662alas, golf carts have the problem of being more inside than outside, as it were. The best you could do would have the main chassis transform into a guy who then surfs on the canopyA zamboni would be amazing. and probably pretty easy, as it's pretty much a brick
>>11822661Razor Claw and Poison Bite were the only two Mutant designs I really liked, though I ultimately never got any of them. Maybe some day I'll track one of 'em down; they're neat little oddities.
>>11822664Lol I didn't even see the crack I will take another look later tomorrow At the moment the neck is tight and fine. As for the cut marks. I can live with it and I can also do something about it if I want. As much as Hasbro got blasted for, one thing I have to give it to them is that their sprue marks are always flat and rarely bite into the actual piece. Have you people seen bandai's damashii figures? Their sprue marks looks like a dog chew them off from the plate.
>>11822656>>11822665This made me really want a thunderbirds 2 transformer crossover

>>11822709He cracked his glasses, clumsy wolf.
>>11821563Also I realized that since the Micromaster adapter ramp connects to the Scramble City base connector, it also works with Trypticon, unfortunately considering where they actually attached to the ramps just kind of end up leading nowhere
Maximo's darts, that were visually based on spaceships, flying around like spaceships shooting lasers. Sakamoto is the best creative working in the franchise right now.
My Star Eagle came in today! This is actually my first encounter with the mould. Not gonna lie, I like her. The paintjob really makes her look good, though I wish she had a bit more red on her. I woulda swapped the bright blue for bright red myself. Small potatoes though, neat little novelty. Here she is with some fellow Chuddybots saluting the offscreen flag.
>>11822885>all-star chud-bot teamLmao! Very based.I can't lie, I bought her mostly for trolling purposes and because her very existence pisses off all the right people. But she's a very nice bot on her own...beautiful colors. I love the bright blue the most actually. My only prior experience with the mold is Filch and I like Star a lot better.
Okay As mentioned earlier I don't have the time to open everyone as it just arrives in the office today. But remembering that some people have duplicate fist I think I will do my best open them all just make sure no other QC (besides pimple faced)I do have deathcorba with me (I forgot his little Cobra on the desk) and I'm just going to ramble about the figure a bit. Yes, there's too much stuff on the back that he can't really stand on his own 2 feet. There are heels but they being side slope shaped, they don't really help at all. Most of the connections are good and most of the movements are there. You can do a decent kneel but the rotor gets in the way of the back leg. But the 2 tabs on the side of the chest, you can't move the arms higher than the 90 degrees. You can try but you will hit the tabs and either marring the tabs or the shoulders. I don't know why the waist section is painted when it should be plastic black in the first place considering how much movement is there. Also for the transformation into an arm, the gaps of the rachet tend to tilt deathcorba to his left side. Not a big deal considering what he has to do but it is an issue.Overall I think I would be a lot happier if this is actually a regular retail release. At the moment it is a fine toy but I don't know if the price justifies itself when better design choices should have been taken. Maybe the other guys will improve my opinion somewhat?
>>11822919>Maybe the other guys will improve my opinion somewhat?Deathcobra is the worst of the set so you'll still probably like the rest.
AlsoPimple faced, meet Scarface.
>There are heels but they being side slope shaped, they don't really help at all.Actually delete that He can stand just fine with the heels. He just need some help like stick some papers between the gap so the heels don't recline up. SS galvatron has the same not Smartly designed heels too. Only he has them bigger make the problem less noticable

>>11823650I love this kind of posing, but I gotta say.. transformers very rarely have "shoot from below" friendly jet modes
>>11823659Yeah, it's weird. I mean, I kinda get that because of all the cars, the transformers, designers are trained to hide kibble on the underside. But flying stuff are comonly seen from the underside, so you would assume they would try to make them look more "intended" for lack of a better word.
>>11823687I imagine they would, if not for the inherent difficulty in making a transformer that turns into something so flatunless the legs can turn into the air-intake-thrust-out-put pylons, you are kinda fucked, as fucked as trying to make a proportionate birdformer, since 90% of the body is wings and they have to be extremely posable to look good
>>11823650No Dinoking?
>>11823624The transformation joints are a little floppy, you can feel the mold-wear. However the actual articulation joints are still solid. Carnivac's good too, its cockpit hinge won't disintegrate like Weirdwolf's
>>11823624My Carnival is very loose, especially his heels, but Ironfist is perfectly fine.
>>11822603They actually turn into an armored hover vehicle for breaking through the defense in their cybertronian football equivalent game. The helmet is just a convenient window dressing they apply to that alt mode that doubles as a disguise with a bit of mass shifting. The foot ball is also a handheld homing throwing weapon that releases a concussive blast wave on contact with its target. This is canon information straight from my ass.You should still adopt it though.
>>11823889Meanwhile, Breakaway doesn't actually turn into a giant soccer ball. He was actually a construction worker on Cybertron before finding his true calling as a soccer star; his alt mode is a "Homing Wrecking Ball", a self-guided (naturally) demolition device that flies around and targets support beams in old structures to level them. He didn't even modify his alt mode when he got to Earth; he just painted all the World Cup stuff on himself and called it a day.

>>11823016How many of these Hot wheels collabs are we supposed to get? It'd be nice to at least get some recolors, because the decos they chose for GT Scorcher and Segundo Coupe are hella boring.I remember seeing a listing for "Twin Mill 2" and I wonder if it was a new mold based on the 90s reworking of Twin Mill, or just the red repaint of the original we got.
>>11824033Its the red repaint.
Kinda-sorta tangentially Transformers related, but I just noticed Super 7 has two of the Visionaries up for preorder, so if anyone cared about these guys for whatever reason, Leoric and Darkstorm are a thing again.
>>11824076Will they have actual 3D holograms on the figures and accessories like back in the 80's, or just cheap pictures with a shiny finish like the Leoric figure in Hasbro's SDCC set from 2017?

>>11824267>I miss holograms. I wish they were on everything. It was awesome on toys like Visionaries and Super Naturals! I don't know if it's lost technology now, or just too expensive for modern toy companies, but I miss it too! If these Super7 Visionaries figures have real, legit 3D holograms like in the 80's, I'll buy 'em all in an instant! Otherwise, it'll be a hard pass from me. The other thing I miss is colored vacuum metalilzed chrome like on old transmetals figures. I know that stuff is prone to chipping over time if you don't take care of it, but it looks so cool when it's brand new!
>>11824192The product descriptions for both of them state that they're using holographic stickers. That being said, these are both product renders - they aren't showing actual product shots, so I have no idea if they'll look as good in-hand as the original ones.
>>11824310yes! they just need to learn how to clearcoat the chrome so it never chips. cant be that hard.

>>11824588in fairness, godzilla's always had a dumptruck ass. the real issue is the thighs not being big enoughthe simple fact is, grimlock has never had an acceptable transformation. >>11824441>>11824588I'm thinking I'll get it in blue possibly. The color options are honestly making me wanna get more than one... That back is unfortunate though, yeah.>>11824450Yeah Ive almost missed more than a few things because of that.
>>11824614The question is:Would anyone accept a spaghettiforming where the tail breaks up into two pieces, each turning into a leg, one attached to the body by a huge retractable portion?Because if we would, that would revolutionize a lot of leggery.>>11824616for me it was TMNT stuff. One thing that has never been rereleased, and one that rereleased after I bought it from a scalper. Nertz.
>>11824616Yeah my yellow is supposed to be mecha g it looks like by the breath effect and blue would be regular godzilla. The blue is more like a fire effect. I got toxitron grim for like 10 bucks and I don't want to see what a blue g2 and zilla kit would cost.
>>11824632>blue would be regular godzillaBlack is regular Godzilla; they just didn't give him a custom breath effect because he already came with his own.
>>11824360Thanks for the info! Guess we'll just have to wait and see exactly whether or not they accurately mean it by "holographic stickers." But if they're anything like the old toys (even if not quite as good), I'll be all over these!
>>11824564Looking at my SS86 Thundercracker right now, the pieces comprising the head appear to be glued together, and possibly too tight to pull off the ball joint without separating the glued pieces. Maybe someone else who's attempted an actual customization can verify, but I you'd need to manage to pull apart the glued pieces without damaging them, and then reglue them together once you've switched the heads. Honestly, I wish Hasbro would design the heads to be able to be more easily removed, and then include alternate heads with their figures. They did it a few times with a couple of their Target-exclusive multi-packs, but I guess they must've decided it isn't worth investing part of their budget for it.
Has anyone ever spent a stupid amount of money to get a rare transformer they had as a kid? Im tempted. I wish I rebought everything years ago but my living conditions were awful.
>>11824852Anon, no headswapping is necessary, the faces are removable.

>>11825006To add, if someone here uses them regularly can let me know this wait is absolutely normal, that'd ease my worries a little.
>>11824900Usually takes me two weeks to get anything from them, so you've got nothing to worry about.
>>11825006can't you check the tracking on their site?
>>11824866For ones I actually owned as a kid? No. I managed to reacquire most of mine for a bit of a markup years later, but nothing too extreme. Now, for ones I wanted as a kid but never actually owned? Yeah, I've done that. It doesn't help that I never buy used toys, only NIB, so that already entails that it's going to cost a bit more.I don't regret it, though - pic related was one of those purchases, and while I'm not proud of what I spent for him (still far cheaper than what he goes for now), I love him. If you think the character you want to buy is going to be worth the price, especially if it has sentimental value to you, then go for it - ultimately, it's your call on how much it's worth to you..
Watching cyberverse and I didnt expect it to be as enjoyable as it has been. I thought it would be a braindead baby show since it's only 10 min episodes, but I am pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was. Imo though they shouldve put a little more budget in and made this into a movie or two, or three. Wouldve been great.
>>11825026This before or after shipping? I feel a bit better though.>>11825062They havent even gotten that far with my order, havent had any update since they charged me.
>>11825131>This before or after shipping? I feel a bit better though. After getting the shipping notice. Ultimately, it depends on how far from their warehouse you happen to live - things need time to move around, after all, and they don't usually pay to fly their stuff around when shipping around the mainland US, meaning you're dealing with drivers and traffic for your deliveries.
>>11825131>havent had any update since they charged me.They never accept more orders than what they actually have in-stock, so if they charged you and haven't sent you any cancellation notices, then it's in a processing queue and you're guaranteed to get it (you're just in line behind a bunch of other people). Just be patient - Pulse can be a little slow, but if you got your order in within the window and they already accepted payment for it, you're locked in and will definitely get the thing.

Super Megagodzilla was also in the 90's, after Trypticon. I had no idea this guy was such a PUSSY. I'm nearly halfway through the series and this guy has had TWO duels before deciding he needs to keep his sorry ass in his chair whenever Star Saber comes head first towards his ship. >>11825796>Maybe I just have higher expectationsJust because I said it's the best JG1, doesn't mean it's good
>>11825846Also, Liokaiser was really the only redeeming part of the show
OkI finally got the chance to play with all "8" them. Had to wait 2 full days because I got a bad stomach flu and was in bed all day. Fortunately, no major QC issue such as two left or right fist. Nor was there some outrageous paint issue (besides the pimple face here and there mentioned earlier, it is annoying though) nothing has cracked and all the joints and connection are strong and tight (I will get back to that) Though, I have to say each individual bot is extremely compromised. Drill and Bison are supposed to be thick and big. But that is pretty all the 2 of them can do. Their legs are so fat might as well not have knees. While the arm jets are good, I don't know why they couldn't do more to make sure the wings move out of the way. With the way they are, both have to do the yamaguchi or else the lower legs will keep clashing with the wings. Garuda probably is the best in terms of general transformation and play. Him being a car and the waist avoided a lot of issues. But the weakest is probably leozack. He can't even stand properly having no heel and the back being heavy. He is probably the most compromised out of the seven. Which is a shame considered he is technically the face of the team. And back to that strong joint/connection. Deathcobra suffers easily to able to untab his legs. The connections on Gayhawk and Hellbat are extremely tight put into bot mode, but for Deathcorba, the tabs that are supposed to secure the knees to the lower legs kept undone with simple movement. Did they just not give a fuck anymore when it came to him?
>LiokaiserWell, it is impressive when fully combined. Yes, Liokaiser is good. It is very much a combiner wars combiner without the extreme CW flaws that came with them. Yes, I would like the shoulders and knees to be stronger, but the way they are, they do hold up the figure. I do recommend you use the stand if you live somewhere earthquake prone though. Some thoughts>I would like 2 piece skirt instead of one piece. >I would like the rachets to be stronger. >I would like “FULL” articulation in the combined mode. >I would like each bots not look like open heart surgery patients. I don’t know if those are possible. I suppose a frame system probably can be a better combiner, but it is not Liokaiser anymore, right? I guess if the original size of Haslab Victory saber did not come in the Commander size but something like larger leader, then maybe I think Hasbro can better address some of the issues having to deal with less weight like all team bots are now deluxe sized? In terms of build quality, this is better than V saber and worse than Deathdino. You know how in regular retail figures, there were always some junks stuck in the pin holes. There are plenty of those here. There were none on Deathsaruours; and he is much cleaner with the sprue marks. So, is this something can only be made through crowdfunding? I don’t think so. Though I don’t blame Hasbro/TT wanted to play it safe. Anyway, it is good- not great but good enough. Though playing with this, I do wish Hasbro did not screw up with Victory Saber. That thing got some questionable material used. I don’t see why they can’t just do reissue hasblab made to order with the die already existed so they can address the QC in the original and make extra cash on the side. Like would people really complaint if they re-release V Saber and Deathsoouara with minimal accessories?
>>11825859>It is very much a combiner wars combiner without the extreme CW flaws that came with them.People will post meaningless drivel like this and think their thoughts are worth sharing
>>11825859>would people really complaint if they re-release V Saber and Deathsoouara with minimal accessories?artificial scarcity is the name of the game
>>11825796Oh cmon now, I think the most of the villains are pretty fun! They'd shine a lot more if the plotlines of every episode just varied more...but the personalities of the autobots really are so disappointing. I really only enjoy watching Star Saber and Holi? They're really missing any of the sass some of the g1 autobots had.
>>11825859the gun waffling is absurd at that price
>>11825859>So, is this something can only be made through crowdfunding?Honestly, none of the TF Haslabs really "needed" to be crownfunded to be made at all. The funds are there to get everything updated.
>>11826129how much money are they really saving by not simply making two pieces that are each half as big, each waffled, but their waffled sides plug together in the factory?
>>11826131Reminder that before they decided to make Deathsaurus a haslab they were playing with the idea of making him a SS86 Grimlock retool and his breastmasters core class figures.
>>11826151At least I would've been able to afford him
>>11826168Damn you sound like a real fucking loser, I'm glad I'm not a lose and was able to afford an infinitely better Deathsaurus than that could ever have been.

>>11826273I'm well aware, but if I end up needing the money in a couple of decades and realize I could've had it if I had just kept my fingers off I'd be devastated. I wish every toy I owned was valued at $1 for this exact reason

>>11826281Somethin just occurred to mehowcome holograms are always green-orange? Could they be made like, blue-purple instead?
>>11826326it's probably the cheapest way to do it. like how the virtual boy's monocolor display was red simply because red LEDs were the cheapest option at the time
>>11826278Is that why he's called Cryotek?Leftover name trademark?
>>11826330I thought it was because red is the least dazzling color, hence how it used to be on alarm clocks you were meant to glance at from bed to see whether you need to get up because your fucking job takes an hour to get to and if you don't give yourself 15 minutes to get ready you'll miss your bus, and if you wake up within 20-30 minutes of the alarm there's no point in trying to get back to GOD damn my life used to suck
>>11826367Yes, that's exactly the reason.>>11826326Not gonna lie, I don't know exactly how holograms - specifically, sticker-based ones (rather than the modern ones that can be projected from a light source) worked, bug I suspect the colors are a limitation of the effect. It may literally be impossible to make a holographic sticker with colors different from that, as that specific color combination may be critical to creating the illusion.
>>11826412it is weird how our terms are so muddled. People are retards, especially about techI think this kind of thing is more of a -holograph-that is, they have a camera, it takes a shot of an image from different angles simultaneously, and then essentially each image is burned into the material from that angle, so that you will see it only from that angle. kinda like lenticular shit except not like that at all.
>>11825855>>11825859This may be one of the worst Haslabs for TF and insanely horrendousThat gun alone is outright fucking embarassingIf you're paying $300+ nearly there isn't a single god damn reason this should look even half way the way it does

>>11826151Not gonna lie, I'd have been into that
>>11826468Pieces were always hollow, they just had the decency to either cover them or print the waffling on the interior half of parts that joined together to conceal it, resulting in them LOOKING more solid despite being just as empty as modern toys. What you're seeing now is that companies stopped giving a damn - they know you'll buy it anyway.
Opinion: Does Optimal Optimus look better together with the Japanese Maximal Leaders, or just stick to basic Primal? Big Convoy is as good as he can get, but I honestly think we still need a Matrix Buster piece in the future.
>>11826482>they just had the decency to either cover themAnon, you know the barrels plug there, right?
What’s a good Voyager Autobot/Maximal that’s still available? On my Voyager class ones are Decepticons.Wish they did Polar Claw.
>>11826563How many retools recolors could they get from a mold?
>>11826568The bear guy from Beast Wars Neo.
>>11826568Polar Claw, Barbearerian (grizzly bear deco), Survive (BWN black bear deco), Ursa Magnus (comic character)
With Gigastorm, we finally have a modern day Beast era Titan figuere, and that's cool, but I think the Beast era really deserves a fully original Titan design. It's hard to figure what one would be though, a whale is just too obvious. Also, I'd really like a Quintesson aligned Titan. They could probably get away with a Dark Guardian deco of the Omega Supreme mold.
>>11826468Did you know that with only slight modifications they could have made it not look like shit. hard to believe, I know.
>>11826599>the Beast era really deserves a fully original Titan design. It's hard to figure what one would be thoughThe answer is obvious. The only problem is that it would make for a massively out of scale Elphorpha, who's only about Big Convoy sized.
>>11826616I don't care what size he is, I just want a good Torca that doesn't explode or cost $300
I want a new Manterror. I like my idea that for the next TF line they should do Insect weaponizers.
>>11826599Guess the Guardian Version deco didn't sell as well as they thought.
>>11826616>>11826623When they eventually remake Torca they will keep him to the original deluxe scale.

I started considering the idea the new herald of Unicron figure could be used for a suped-up Bludgeon who decided to serve Unicron, but the original Cybertron figure's face is way better for an idea like that. The new one has a bozo face.
>>11826609NTA but was trying to find a picture of the 80s toy and learned only half the team got repaints in Europe. I feel bad for it like I did transmutate.
>>11826808Why would they do this, it looks so bad
>>11826835The combination is unofficial. They just sold 4/6th the team with different equipment.
>>11826835They sold 4 out of the 6 as their own team, leaving out Hellbat and Guyhawk because they were bigger and would've had to have been sold at a higher price point. They weren't supposed to combine - the instructions for doing so weren't included with them originally - so that pic is technically a fanmode (and only really works at all because the redeco'd Killbison dude came with a pair of grabby arms that could be plugged into the combined form's hips to give him his missing limbs; he has no head, though, just Liokaiser's mouthplate).
>>11826436you I like>>11826571thisbut you know they would just fuck him up. I don't want one of his bear paws transforming into a bat, that's kinda dumb. I want him to have a deployable bat drone, yeah, but.. let his bear paws turn into like, guns. not a silly extendo claw and a bat, leaving him armless.
>>11826782booo. he needs to be a leader.this also gives them the parts-room to give him a better transformation
>>11826835>>11826847>>11826866The Rescue Force packaging doesn't mention or show a combination, but the concurrently-released European sticker book gives everyone bios, "names", and mentions/named their combined form. The combined form itself later makes an appearance in BotCon comic, configured as pictured here >>11826808. So it IS official.(The names being Rescue Force (the jet), Rescue Force 1 (the claw tank), Rescue Force 2 (the "extinguishing vehicle" because that's totally not guns he's carrying), Rescue Force 3 (the drill tank), and Big Rescue Force (the combined form). The Rescue Force released the same time as the un-individually-named, non-combining Constructicons.>>11826808
>>11826891What changes would be suitable for Rescue Force 4 and Rescue Force 5?
>>11826808
>>11826891>un-individually-named, non-combining Constructicons. The what? Were they they yellow constructicons?
Rescue Force actually looks pretty cool. You can't go wrong with a white and red jet. I have a Macross bias though
>>11826940- G1 NA: green- G1 EU (1985): same green as NA- G1 EU (1996): green changed to yellow- G1 EU (1992): a 2nd yellow version. some also have grey parts. some were remolded to not combine. none have combiner parts.- G2 (1992): a 3rd yellow version, with G2-and-Decepticon tampos. back to usual combining.- G2 (1993): yellow changed to orange- not pictured: a few classic green reissues with minimal changes (slightly different shades of green, extra paint, etc)- Tonka collab: a 4th yellow colour scheme, now with black instead of purple. autobots
>>11826947I had one of the yellow guys as a kid somehow despite being born in 1990 and only ever watching Beast Wars
>>11826947and by "some have grey parts" I mean there was a running change within the EU '92 Constructicons to change the grey back to yellow. Also, the grey versions had two packaging variants: "wheels on card" and "side on card"
>>11826911Again, they didn't do 4 and 5 because Hellbat and Guyhawk were too big for the price point. They would've had to have found some way of shrinking them down to sell them.A modern remake shouldn't have the same issue, since we now have combiner teams with individual members being of different size classes, but back then that wasn't allowed to be a thing.
>>11826963Which is why I asked you. Rescue Force changed colors, removed breasts, and gave different equipment, so if they made a new set based on Rescue Force with additional guys to have a full combination, what would be suitable to make sure they are distinct from both the original and not overlap teammates?
>>11826963Was selling a box set not viable?
Regarding any of the SS86 seekers, I know that the peg is clear plastic, but is the gun clear plastic, but painted too?
>>11826979The entire gun is clear, so is the face.
Gap fillers are borderline mandatory on the new seekers
>>11826866Where did you get the information about price points? I have original Liokaiser and the limbs are noy really a different size. I heard that the molds were missing or stolen so they never produced them because they couldn't.
>>11827003There's a quote on the wiki.
>>11825855>>11825859Everything about this set just... looks awful. So much compromise for the cimbined mode just for it to look like shit anyway, I'm surprised this even funded at alllmao @ jallguar's concave chest
>>11827035Eh, it's okay. The individual robot modes are competent enough, they definitely don't blow me away. Vehicles are passable for the land guys, the jets are definitely rough. But the combined mode is solid and fun. I like the idea of Deathcobra being a weapon, but it's just not executed well at all.I have TFC Hades, and that does do so much more for me as someone that likes combiners, but it does suffer from the typical 3P pitfalls of being a little overly complex in some aspects and underdeveloped in others, and it's also aggressively sharp...I've actually drawn blood playing with it. The haslab isn't that, and it's a reason why I still collect mainline. Sometimes it's good just to have a nice SAFE time that isn't an hour investment to move things around between modes.
>>11826994are most gap fillers available as files online? I might have access to a 3d printer soon
>>11826330>>11826369How it actually functions is like some sort of witchcraft, a single strip of red LEDS moving at rapid speed into a periscopic mirror for each eye.
Can anyone talk me into purchasing Nexus Prime? I really want to complete my 13 Primes, but I am REALLY struggling with him. I don't want want to blow $45 on a triple-changer that's an upper torso and a shitbox attempt at a plane, with the vague hopeful promise of some future overpriced kit to add more expense, and terrible design to complete the look, that may never materialize. And I don't really think clearance or shelf warming will likely become an option. Also having similar trouble with Kranix.
>>11827105the mirrors move, not the LEDshttps://youtu.be/Pn8TFhK87ZM&t=543https://youtu.be/Pn8TFhK87ZM&t=594
>>11827105fascinating.>>11827108why wouldnt he shelfwarm?best you can do is look into some fanmodes, I think
>>11827108
>>11827114MMkay. Sort of convincing argument. Not any worse than Broadside, I guess, and I LIKE Broadside. (Honestly, I think it's that the "official" transformation has his crotch just kinda hanging out there. Freeballing through the skies. Barely wings, and no tailfin unless he suddenly pops wood I guess.)But like, the rest of him "combining" is borrowing Superion's pants?
>>11825987I would be willing to overlook the absence of personalities if the Autobots were a bit more of an underdog like they were in Headmasters instead of the Boring Invincible Hero
>>11827108He's really not bad he's just kinda lack luster with not really having an alt mode and the main point of him isn't even gonna properly happen

>>11827164hell yeah. peacemaker.
>>11827108Just buy another figure and decide that's you 13th Prime. A Sentinel Prime, Nova Prime, the New Prime coming next year, anything.
>>11826616>The answer is obvious.Yeah, and it isn't him. The closest you will get is Elephorca in the legends line (he also has a way better deco than Torca) and he will be a leader at best. For titans, they should just do ships like the Axalon or the Tako Tank. If the designers were actually based they would do pic related (in all grey too)
>>11825446He's evil. Why risk your own life when you have expendables who you can send out to die instead?
>>11826599why do you want a big expensive toy that's just big and expensive for no good reason?
>>11827281because it's cool?
>>11827240>AxalonIf they made an Axalon, would that mean we'd get a Darksyde, too - and that her robot mode would be based on NAVI-ko?
Having gotten my Liokaiser, this is how I feel about a few things:-They should have included filler pieces for a number of figures, it's insane that they didn't.-There's really no excuse on the head sizes for most of the breastforce. They all have more than enough space to implement it.-A few parts have their looks compromised for no reason. Drillho4n has that horrible piece going through the cockpit for no reason, they only needed a stopper, Jarugar has a similar issue.
>>11827281>for no good reasonGiant robots and base modes are extremely cool
I wanted to get that new Prowl, but not adding anything nee makes it a pass for me. I already had a dying Prowl with a Siege head from a junker, and I hoped a new one would include a new head and maybe MP style cannons, but nope.
>>11827364but expensive.I never wanted something just because it was big.
>>11827381You sound poor. I expect you have poor hygiene.
>>11827383And you sound like a faggot
>>11827263Cause we rarely ever see him succeed because of it, but I hear he'll lock in later so i'll take that anon's word for it.
>>11819324How are the Auldey figures? I want to get one, but I’m unsure on them
Fiddling with some Studio Series Junkions I bought a while back, I appreciate how the transformation still puts the robot head where it's "supposed" to be, even if the morphing shape changing would make it impossible to actually turn it into the console and headlight area.
Been about a week now... they still have not shipped my nemesis prime, meanwhile I got his head from aliexpress today... Insane I got this before hasbro has even shipped out my order.
So I ordered SS86 Scourge for my Cyclonus Preorder. I feel like I should get. SS86 Galvatron even at discounted prices but for some reason, it just looks wrong even with the more cartoon accurate coloring. I think it the more tech greenling which was a holdover from the Kingdom line is what’s not doing it for me I actually prefer the more streamlined and simpler, cartoon design toys.
>>11827175yeah, shelfcanons are the best
>>11826330I tried one of those on in the late 80's and it gave me a headache!!!FACT!!!
We’re getting another Titan Bayverse Dinobot next year:Tra Gen Studio Series Titan TF4 Dinobot ScornProduct Number: G3561
I finally got around to getting the Generations Selects BWII Seacons. They'e loose, but they're great fun. A lot more fun than the modern "combiners" are.
Oh hey God of Combiners.
>>11827108I think he looks cool standing next to the other Primes but yeah not being able to do the one fucking thing he's known for is ass.Conversely I think Micronus does too much that he doesn't do what he's known for: being a manlet.
>>11827519That's strange. I got mine within a day of ordering him.though to be fair, I usually have issues with Pulse shipments so this may be the rare case where I lucked out.
>>11827635Alright guys, if you manage to make dino-leg-shaped-dino-legs, I'm in. If you don't, I'm out. I TOLERATED the deluxe and voyager Scorns, whose legs really only look right from some angles, but this time you gotta fuckin do it right.
Onslaught incoming at BBTS, it's happening!
I know that Metroplex and the rest of the scramble city combiners were part of the scrapped Diaclone line “Jizai Gattai” but was Trypticon also part of that or was he thought of for Transformers exclusively?
is missing link working in your opinion?
>>11827877It's a cool novelty but I've already owned and enjoyed the original versions. I thought about buying Arcee though.
>>11827877I dont really care that much about G1.
>>11827877they're chasing two chickens and catching neither
Seriously, what's a new Commander Rodimus Prime supposed to add? Sure, they can smooth him out and make him look more like the cartoon, but what's it going to do? What features or accessories can they possibly give it the Kingdom one didn't have? The new one will be more expensive and made on a lower budget.
>>11827902Maybe the new one can have the Winnebago part his alt mode become part of his body this time?
>>11827877It’s a cool idea, but I feel like the problem is it’s another thing in an already saturated market because seriously we have both the mainline toys, which are pretty much already for the collector market. Then you have masterpiece and so this adds another thing that I feel like just maybe isn’t as needed. . Also holy shit those prices are bonkers. I understand that they have to make that their money since they’re making these molds from scratch along with import tariffs but goddamn 120 bucks for Grimlock. I’m sorry I can’t do that.
>>11827964He's a Studio Series figure, he's got to scale to Magnus, Galvatron, etc. There's no way they can do that.
>>11827964>>11827970It'll just be an upscale of his Titanium. $100
>>11827978How is that not a leader
Behold! One hundred dollars.
>>11827978Hey don't spoil the next Style Gen toy like that.
>>11828112>not even having his own gunI have no idea what those retards are doing anymore.
>>11827970And this is why we had the Evolution Rodimus Prime as a somewhat scuffed, but truer to the text version of Rodimus Prime. Stupid thing they could add is Firedrive again, considering how the Rodimus Team is forcefully given Targetmaster partners (Ultra Magnus and Wheelie don't have them for obvious reasons, ergo, the former makes up for it with his huge size, and the latter is a Minibot, who can't even wield weapons). Also, why is everyone sleeping when we got Scorn for our next Titan? Oh, right, Hasbro is developing the Dinobots as Titans, reserving the spot for the next three years and leaving the mainline Generations toys without a proper Titan. Please give us Shattered Glass Heatwave this 2028, or I'm buying the New Legends True Nexus Prime.
>>11828141>the New Legends True Nexus Prime. The what?
>>11828142He's coping hard, he thinks New Legends is going to waste its time on Nexus Prime, a character who never existed in Japan.
>>11828142Remember when Takara Tomy's New Legends line released G2 Menasor in all its hippie color glory? They'll do it again with Nexus Prime where Hasbro releases the limbs throughout Age of Evolution and make us wait one more year for SG Heatwave, but Takara Tomy will release the complete Nexus Prime as a box set, complete with SG Heatwave as a pretool for Hot Spot (a ladder truck being a pretool of a missile truck is sensible, look at Onslaught and his own set of cannons and tell me why we need a new base for a missile truck anyway).
>>11828151G2 Menasor is just repaints of existing molds. Nexus would require entire new figures and a frame to be created. Takara wipes their ass with the 13, they'll release some minor JP Beast Wars characters before they ever do that.
>>11827735It's really weird because they took my money, and the order page said I couldnt change address or anything so I assumed they were gonna ship it any day now, I just checked now though and it gives me the option to change payment, address, and cancel it again???? I'm actually starting to get pissed. I hope they didnt sell one to many... I dont wanna have to pay some retarded scalper to get it.
>>11828175Well, here's the fun part: Four of the components are easy remolds of existing figures (though it needs a tread arm and a helicopter leg to be more accurate, it could just easily be sidestepped by Nexus switching his parts around as typical of a Scramble City-based combiner), and Shattered Glass Heatwave would be a way to test the waters for a Hot Spot in the future. They're just gonna design a new Commander component this soon. Of course, one thing I beg Takara to add is some swords that could create the Cyber Caliber.
>>11828176Got a response from hasbro about this and they told me the delay is because they are attempting to ship a large bulk of shipments at once
>>11820112who's gonna represent Legends though
>>11828184>>11828151>hippie colorTechnicolor but I know what you mean> They'll do it again with Nexus PrimeThe cope levels are off the charts. Why would Takara waste any time with an idea from Funpub? You people really need to reel in their expections because in what world is this shit realistic?
>>11827968For example. We got already SS86 and a rerelease/recolor masterpiece Soundwave. You KNOW they’ll do a Missinglink since it’s money on the table but all three are essentially doing the same thing.I do love the G1 toy’s head design more.
>>11827877I like them a lot. Never had a chance to own many G1 molds, and it turns out that simply adding articulation to 40+y/o toys results in better toys than current mainline slop. I basically stopped buying Transformers completely over the past several years because things really started to go to shit since Siege in terms of cost, quality, and overall fun factor. The biggest problem ML solves over mainline releases is that currently, most alt modes are shit, and by virtue of being G1, MLs were designed with the alt mode in mind first, which automatically makes them much better toys, imo.
>>11827877Only really interested in arcee and grimlock and only for the novelty, so I havent got any. Happy for anyone that does enjoy them though.
>>11828124Erm, you see, costs of plastic are through the roof now and Hasbro is a small indie company that needs to break even. Uhhh, I mean, post-COVID supply chain issues. Uhhh, I mean, this was the only way to do a combiner in 2026, it was either him having knees or having that gun. Uhhh, I mean, he didn't use the gun in the show. Uhhh, I mean, nobody needs his gun because nobody has storage for a single gun and you're GAY for wanting it. I forgot which excuse for this scam we're doing this month.
>>11827897Sounds like bullshit projection because you’re still angry at ironhide>>11827877Hell yeah, got at least one of each mould except Magnus
Got sideways and blue gridlock today. Now just waiting on them upgrade kits.
>>11828124you live in a world where we've decided that every business needs create more wealth for its shareholders every year, forever, at any cost.
>>11828141>Also, why is everyone sleeping when we got Scorn for our next Titan?Because we've known he was coming for months now - literally when they announced Titan Grimlock. I'll get excited when we see some actual product shots - assuming he doesn't turn out as bad as Grimmy did.
Starting to want a new version of Abominus. The POTP one wasn’t right. Also, I don’t think he’ll need a frame with maybe some extra bits that folded out of Hungurr to make the connection to each limb a little stronger. The Terrorcons were my first combining robot back in 1987. Yeah I was the weird kid that didn’t mind when Transformers went all deep into monsters..
>>11827827Is anyone else still waiting for their Powerglide from them or just me? He was expected for May, now June is almost over and no sign of him.The worst part is I saw him in the store exactly once and left him there because "why bother, my pre-order is coming".
>>11828472I say it every time the topic comes up, but the idea of Hun-Grr with a frame trailer that makes him a giant hydra monster with extra heads is too cool for them not to try and do.I do have a soft spot for the POTP set though. Flimsy combined form (though probably the best of that generation) but really nice colors and beast modes.
Hello, I want to buy some stuff from the site https://www.tf-robots.nl/ since I finally found cheap Vertebreak and Transmutate from Kingdom to finally finish pic related... but I keep seeing the notice "Attention: No Guarantee on mint box.". Is this just a standard disclaimer to ward off senseless refunds, or should I be worried?
>>11827877Not for those obscene prices
>>11828509Why do you care about the box?
>>11828526I care about the disclaimer being a convenient excuse if the item comes damaged.
>>11828533The disclaimer only covers the box, though. If they have a return policy, just ship it back. If they don't I wouldn't order to begin with but that's just me
>>11828536>If they have a return policyThey do, but I incur the costs of both returning the item and getting a replacement if I don't want a refund. I was more hoping to see if anyone here in Europe had ordered from that store.
SS86 Scourge just shipped from Hasbropulse.

The weird thing about replacing Optimus with Rodimus isn't how they killed off Optimus. It's simply, why would they think kids would want Rodimus over Optimus? Look at them, Optimus is way cooler. Rodimus doesn't even have a faceplate.
>>11828554>random lump of kibbleHow'd you know what my nickname in highschool was?
>>11828586While as a 6 year old in 1986, I loved Optimus. But the sheer coolness of the movie’s cursing and violence won me over. It was so cool and interesting to see most of the previous cast killed off. Stakes were high. And no one was safe. Finally cartoons were cool!
apparently EE already has Monstructor in stock. hope this means other places will start shipping him soon
>>11828586I've never cared for Rodimus nor got the appeal either.
>>11828586He is a red(ish) sports car with flames. They presumably thought he would do well.
>>11828627yeah, in retrospect it's the same thinking behind Teen Tony, Terry McGinnis, uhhh who else..Basically hollywood types despise big heroic manly men, and want to tear them down, and they use young boys as their excuse 'they only want to see small little cool hip boys' like no..
>>11828636dude, you have schizophrenia
>>11828586I dont like Rodimus because I DO like Hot Rod. They took away his sauce.
>>11828586Bruh, look at this dude
>>11828648Look at the top of his head!
The really weird thing is that the Ultra Magnus mold was right there. Just have Optimus get fucked up and then restored as Ultra Prime or whatever. Instead they just made this>>11828648 and decided it would be a better leader toy.
>>11828659Powered Convoy colors wouldve been perfect too
>>11826599>Quintesson aligned TitanJust make The Dweller.
>>11828509>>11828539tf-robots is trustworthy. I buy from them all the time, one of the few European stores that ships worldwide so no crazy taxes for collectors in the EU. I actually bought Deathsaurus off of them because Hasbro Pulse wasn't available in my country at the time.I think the disclaimer just means the boxes might be a little bent at the corners or something. I've bought plenty of their discounted items without so much as torn box, and I don't know them to sell damaged toys.
>>11828639yeah no dude, this is pretty explicit. Do even the slightest research.
>>11828690Thanks, I made the purchase.
>>11828700buddy, i know what you're talking about, and you are WILDLY misinterpreting things
I got Sideswipe at Target today. He was on sale.
>>11828714That's fine, I'm not gonna shit my diaper if you correct me on the detailsReplying with 'you have schizophrenia' is saying that you do not, in fact, know what I'm talking about.
>>11828739You have schizophrenia.
I was really hoping Hasbro would do a package refresh of Jhiaxus, he got one release and it yellowed, and it's not like it's easy to get the Japan release.
For all the comments about Liokasiser's issues, I haven't heard anyone bring up that they didn't include a second set of smaller poles for when they actually use the electric nunchaku as intended. The current set uses them at full length, in their spear mode, so it doesn't really work, not even for the combined Liokaiser. You could theoretically cut them in half to achieve this, but then you lose out on the spear mode.
>>11828664It's kind of psychotic that there's never been a release of an Ultra Magnus mode with an inner robot that gave the inner robot Optimus' usual color scheme.
>>11828779that is just lazy as nutsi'm reminded of the recent pretty nice lookin Samurai Troopers / Ronin Warriors figures, where they MOSTLY include everything you could want, except there's some really obvious missing parts for some of the special moves. Granted, I'm not sure how you'd do the thing where the guy links six katanas together end to end into a whip. Maybe an effects part since they go all glowy after that part.
>>11828784Hasbro and Takara always fumble over this sort of thing. They only rarely include alternate size for accesories, and it's mostly Takara for their MP figures, like MP Star Saber including an alternate blade, or MPG Super Ginrai including two sets of rifles.
>>11828779He also has a gigantic version of the spear with blades on both ends, you can't make that with the Haslab either.
It’s been 40 years.I want to see who carries the Matrix after Optimus and after Rodimus in the line of succession.
>>11828829The role of Supreme Commander is followed up by Fortress Maximus, Ginrai, Star Saber, Dai Atlas, and then Star Convoy again. In the far future of the Beast era Matrixes will be commonly carried by Convoys.
>>11828829
>>11828833this is so close to an awesome toy.
>>11828586Hasbro honestly didn't realize how much people got attached to the characters. They really thought kids would be "New toys. Throw the old ones away."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYMllXKf1QI
>>11828604I need my mini monsters.but they still need a team name
>>11828839monstructicons
>>11828783why would they? Just use Optimus as the inner robot.
>>11828835The 3P add ons do help
>>11828840I thought of that. But there's already the Monsterbots. Seems...uninspired
>>11828832Japanese fiction never really explained what happened to the original Matrix after HM, Optimus just has it during the G2 era with no explanation. It be weird if Rodimus just kept it all that time, and recent media implied it turned him into a Micromaster, but they don't say if he kept it after becoming Micro's leader. There's no mention of Optimus having it for Battle Stars, orthe Nucleon Quest and was onky brought in the G2 era, where it became the reconfiguration Matrix.
>>11828842plz showI'm willing to overlook a good ape mode on anything attempting to be Optimal since.. he really just can't have a good ape mode, but god that is a dumb vehicle mode too.
>>11828839They're the Pretender Monsters.
>>11828841That's what I'm suggesting.
>>11828851I think anon means that all ultra magnus toys which have an inner robot have it recolored as Optimus already. They would never miss that opportunity.
>>11828854but I'm asking why would they when that figure in that color scheme is already heavily available. "Here buy a figure with 50% of a figure you already own."
>>11828833We sure he's the next chronological one, though? There's a big time gap between the events of the G1 cartoon and Beast Wars - big enough that there could've been one or two more Matrix bearers between them. Now that I think of it, Primal Prime had the Matrix between Beast Wars and Beast Machines (or rather, he WAS the Matrix, given a body by the Vok), while the Throne of the Primes has to happen at some point after Beast Machines/Universe 2003, as Primal never had the Matrix during BW/BM.
>>11828839Crypticons
>>11828846It doesn't do that much. It just makes him more complete (like his original Primal Prime toy)It gives him the car mode he doesn't have and more weapons
>>11828855exactly.. at least that's what I was trying to suggest to that anon that you were saying.>>11828858well I do like weapons
>>11828858It also fills in the gap on the ape mode back when you want to remove the smaller robot to have him ride like a surfboard
>>11828856I think anon >>11828832already suggested the guys who have been in fiction so far. beyond that, I guess they would have to make up some new guys
>>11828855Because Optimus Prime is more popular than Ultra Magnus
>>11828861oh that helps a lot. and those are new hands too, right?I have a 3p Optimal whose mold I really like even if it's not totally show-accurate (that one with the opening gorilla jaw), and I would definitely buy it in 2 more colors if I was rich and had the shelf space.
>>11828859Ooooohh
oh hey, image limit. Man, it's been so weird since goanon left for /trash/. somebody gonna make a new one?>>11828863christ anon, what he's saying is, all UM figures that have an inner 'Optimus' have also released said inner optimus as a standalone toy colored red and blue.
>>11828856In Japan, he's officially the Supreme Commander during BW, it also showed he carried an Energon Matrix (in his first body, at least). There's also a bit of wiggle room with this. There's a small hint that Supreme Commander is now a title that's shared with others, more so in Neo.
>>11828863Do you mean sell the whole thing as Optimus instead of Magnus? (recolor the trailer big robot part too)
>>11828865Yes the hands and wings are new tooold site but it has picshttps://www.thechosenprime.com/DNADK08EX#mz-expanded-view-574596112464
>>11828868>somebody gonna make a new one?>>11828877>>11828877
>>11828871Inner robot, Optimus Prime as Optimus Prime. Outer robot, power up for Optimus Prime, some different deco. Maybe more Optimus based, maybe something different entirely.
>>11828648Rodimus is such a goofy as toy it's kind of incredible that they wanted THIS to be the new faction leader, especially considering how his Decepticon counterpart turned out
>>11828586Imho Rodimus was cooler because it's a futuristic sport car, with flames and lots of exhauster, engine is visible on the bonnet
