Official /RAPT/ General - Big laughs edition.
Welcome to the RAPT general.
This general is mainly for these franchises. You can talk about modern lines (except for NECA), but the main focus is on the older vintage stuff from Kenner, Toy Island, etc.
Discussion of the films and other media is also welcome.
Discussion of other similar films and toylines like Rambo, Last Action Hero, Congo, Demolition Man, even Waterworld, is cool. Especially if it pertains to part swapping, customs, or features for wishful toylines you'd like to see.
NECA posting is off-topic, and should be ignored, but because NECAnon is a loser troll he'll keep posting anyway. But at least it keeps the thread bumped so post as much as you want asshole.

Previous General.

Oops, posted this in the last thread after you made this one.
In other Alien news, I bought the Figlite Facehugger which is now in my private warehouse, and now that it's come back into stock, I'm thinking of getting the xeno egg to complete the set. It feels crazy spending that much on wind up toys when those things were the cheapest thing as a kid, but I don't care. Facehugger goes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Honestly, so long as the plastic isn't the kind that turns into insanely sharp daggers when it breaks like the cheap pullback cars you get from 2 Dollar shops it will be fine.

Also you might as well get the egg if you can swing the cash. Better to get it now and even if you feel kinda meh toward it, it's better than kicking yourself and eventually caving into secondary market prices or regret never getting it at all.

Yeah, it temporarily sold out at HLJ, and I panicked, then came to terms with not owning it. But now it's back in stock, so I just pulled the trigger on it.

This looks so good, but I really wish Hot Toys would just stop with the seamless silicone parts.

Yeah it's one of the first 1/6 scale things that'd made me consider parting with money. But yeah the idea of it wearing over time is a boner kill.

This marks the second import line I've seen selling fauxminators

I'm confused by the legs, are they supposed to be digitigrade or plantigrade?

One of each.

Robocop is my favorite movie of all time but i own way more toys of predators and terminators and xenomorphs then of murphy and frens.

Plantigrade. I suppose the cylinder behind the knee is meant to resemble a calf muscle? Seems like the designers were trying to go for a revoltech approach. They come with interchangeable arms too. The japanese put out a similar kit late last year but they're now out of stock. If I was a business suit I'd import these stateside as part of a Terminator line ASAP.
