Got the BFS Conan off of Walmart with free shipping. In case someone wants to see how the waist joint is connected here you go. Gauntlets are sculpted on the wrists. Skin tone looks way better in hand than the photos BFS used. Just needs a bone necklace or something to break up the massive bare chest for a better look. The necklace from the Frazetta Girls' Conan looks great on him. The waist belt with loop for the sword can be removed.

>>11843650>4 Kings or 4 QueensSome stores seem to be getting both. They might be part of the August reset. Keldor is in the latest CC 200x wave set to release this month. He's also featured in the mini comic included with Randor and Marlena. This might be why they are popping up in stores as well. I had thought they were online only or fanchannel exclusives.

Picked up this bad boy for $10. The previous owner dunked the whole thing in coke to get rid of corrosion but that just fucked the motor completely.

>>11843650I didn't know this was happening so it suprised me to see four Randors on the shelf when I went in after work for cat food. Didn't buy any though, I just got Skeletor from the Filmation line to go with my Skeletor collection and to hell with the rest of it.

>>11844281>Death Dealer comming out soon. Damn he looks good but man 40 bucks for what really is a origin figure is rough. From who? Frazetta Girls already shipped theirs and its been awhile since Zoloworld did one.
A Masterverse Revelations Faker just arrived in the mail yesterday from a low-ball offer ($11 for just his part of the bill) with combined shipping.Got the Revelations Savage He-Man loose, from a different auction lot sale two weeks with the Revelations He-Man (NIB) himself on a different offer. While shipping hasn't been free, it's been totally reasonable, with combined shipping (that amount for Faker includes his shipping and taxes, for example) for other things I have wanted or needed, and everything - so far - works out to below current prices on BBTS or Amazon. Are the 3 weapons and really the two extra hands (plus Orko) worth trying to score the boxed Deluxe Savage He-Man -- or at least complete contents (I don't display or collect boxes) ? Trying to figure out if I need more of these, like the Viking, or go for more New Eternia (found She-Ra New Etheria at a Ross for $12.99). And yes, I'm new.
>>11844394The weapons certainly make Savage He-man more fun. I can personally take or leave theextra hands. Score Orko while you can, I doubt the core line will cover him and the chronicles one likely wont see mass release outside of the SDCC set.
Post some random Motu teams! This one strikes me as "post Filmation." Maybe Queen Frosta has to use her ice powers to fight climate change on Eternia.
>>11844468Okay, thank you, good to know. So the weapons from the Viking or Battle Armor wouldn't be decent replacements, or best to have enough weapons for all of them? I might get both of those, but definitely one. With the deep discount on them online, I'll probably dump the viking (for the helmet) into my pile of loot once a pre-order arrivea and my shipping clock starts.

>>11843636So our movie flopped. Now what?
>>11844831Best case scenario? Mattel rides MOTU off into the sunset as the gen X/early millenial fanbase ages into retirement. Amazon is bankrolling a sequel however, and there's a 50/50 chance that it will focus on Adam or pivot to She-ra, so even tht could stand to further bury the series. All we can do is enjoy the ride down.
Which line do you hope the most that they'll make all Movie figures? Origins,Chronicles or Core?
>>11844831Irrelevant. Box office means nothing and a theatrical release was a formality. It’s a movie built for streaming. Mattel and Amazon won. Once it’s on prime it’ll stay in the top 10 with super Mario and sonic
>>11844847Core. Need origins movie greyskull tho.
>>11844847Seconding Core. I really like the new scale and slimmer bodies. I really hope we get Core movie Fisto before the movie line wraps up.
Target had Chronicles Battle Cat down to $21.99, so now he's my second Chronicles figure.
>>11844829Okay, most of the loose don't include Orko but plenty do, so I just need to find someone selling with something else I want so I'm not just buying something for $10-11 and then paying another $10 just to ship it - by itself - home.Thanks!>>11844542Hadn't thought of that!
>>11844872I really don't get why this is so difficult for certain types of people to grasp. We're almost a decade into the post-theater world at this point, and the fact that joe dirt 2 of all things could happen thanks to streaming ought to tell anyone that the old model is dead.
>>11844899Large portions of the populous got their frame of reference and grasp of the zeitgeist scrambled by the covid lockdowns. The last decade's been a strange borderline purgatorial wait for meaningful change. That wait has been so drawn out that most people think it's still the status quos of the mid 2000's or even the earrly 2010's are somehow still in effect when they havent been in nearly 13 years. It's a real fish in water situation.
>>11844919What you're saying also applies to much of old hollywood as well, which is why spileberg is so confused about Close Encounters 2 bombing. Its like that one interview where trump told Tucker Carlson that he needs to be on a tv network if he wants to be relevant, totally failing to understand that Tucker's videos alone get more views in a day than all of fox news does in a week.
>>11844899>thanks to streaming>>11844919>>11844926New to this party, but I will offer that box office still matters to some people. If you think Travis Knight wasn't literally sad and didn't feel emotional hurt feelings, then you have never spent 10 minutes in a room with any Hollywood creative types (from directors or screen writers, to the fucking lighting gaffers and PAs).That said, y'all do have fair points - but don't take into account that someone still has to pay $100 - $200M for these movies.A perfect example is another Galitzine movie, The Sheep Detectives, even if he wouldn't even be considered a main co-star after Jackman, and Jackman was killed off early in that movie. A movie gets a theatrical release and gets a lot of promotion, it gets reviewed by major publications, it gets treated seriously. That doesn't necessarily happen with other Amazon streaming stuff, like say Reacher, even if Reacher is one of Prime's "biggest" successes. And that's another thing, a B movie like Speed, or even sequels like Matrix Revolution/Reloaded, which were considered unsuccessful, made millions of dollars and profit for Warner Brothers and it's partners from just the theatrical run, and made even more from cable and broadcast licensing fees, home media, and other physical actual ancillary rights sales, even merchandise like the tie-in comics and, yes, even fucking toys. Streaming HAS replaced that. But streaming isn't successful. The amount that movie studios were making before Netflix even existed as a video rental mail delivery system and what movie studios are making today, every single one of them, including Disney, with Lucas Films and Marvel, is FAR FAR less in real dollars, inflation adjusted dollars, and certainly and most definitely in actual profit.

>>11845052>Mad Max but as far as I know no one has done Mad Max toys unless they did back in the day. Maybe there miller doesnt like giving the license out for toys?N2 did via WB bacl in the early '00s, but if you mean with the original release of Road Warrior and Mad Max, they were Aussie films. Aussie films didn't get toys, just a US license for distribution to show the film in the States. Things like RoboCop, Rambo, and Toxic Avenger were based on toned down cartoons for children instead of R properties. Aliens for an unproduced cartoon series with Predator coming along because the license was via Dark Horse.

>>11845119You do realize that Netflix has money because they have debt. They don't have money because they have PROFITS?The money Disney had came from the amusement parks. The picked up tens of billions in debts from buying Fox which wiped out the few billions a year they made from successful movies. Disney+ only became profitable "recently" - I'm not going to waste a lot of time and energy getting you actual sources because you're an idiot who will just respond with another meme image, but for anyone else, it's concisely here:https://www.tikr.com/blog/disney-finally-turned-profitable-the-stock-hasnt-caught-up-yet$450M, yes, it's profit - FINALLY. But compared to what Disney and Buenavista made in say 2005 or even 2010, it's absurd to call it a "success." HBO Max is also finally "profitable" after 6 plus years. How's that turning out for them? And everything else, from Apple TV+, Paramount+, AMC, to Prime, isn't profitable, much less a success.

>>11845052>Mad Max but as far as I know no one has done Mad Max toys unless they did back in the day. Maybe there miller doesnt like giving the license out for toysThere was ONE Mad Max toyline in the 90's and literally nothing else for forty years. What does exist is largely unlicensed or legally distinct (Steel Monsters for example). My pet theory is Warner refuses to license Max out because they resent Gibson and Miller doesnt care one way or the other because he still makes the big bucks off residuals. At this rate it wouldnt surprise me to see Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter done in origins. I guess Funko already did as much years ago, but that wont stop matty from trying the same gimmick twice.
>>11844899If you ask me half of it is shitstirring and the other half is genuine discussion. Alot of people are going to be so baffled when theaters cease to exist in 5 years time. >>11844926Disclosure Day was such an unrestrained train wreck from beginning to end. I almost doubt it would have even sold in the 90's. The schaudenfraude of Spielberg's hubris backfiring as it has will be a landmark moment in hollywood history. Many already argue when hollywood really died, and my personal belief was 2018, but regardless of what year you choose to pin the blame on this past summer blockbuster season certainly cemented the total demise of boomer hollywood. It's a very different world now.>>11844939I dont doubt Knight's hurt feelings. Nobody sets out to make a failure. The movie had heart buried under the millenial humor and it still shines through despite that encumberment. The simple fact of the matter is the movie was an ad for Amazon Prime. Amazon prints money just by existing. Many have pointed out they operate at a loss, but so too does Netflix and it's many contemporaries. The modern economy is a mirage floated by conspiracies of conspiracies and dirty book keeping. We're long past fair play and common sense. That's why all of these entertainment entities are after international corporate sugar daddies to foot their expenses, hollywood's not been a functional business in decades!>Streaming HAS replaced that. But streaming isn't successfulPrecisely. Everybody rolled snake eyes on this bet and we're both better and worse off for it.
>>11845393Except both streaming exclusive MOTU shows failed despite both having merch & one marketed to "adults".
>>11845470Theater chains really shoved MOTU off screens pretty fast - and they did so for movies that didn't really do any better. At least for a while some AMC were taking the evening and nighttime slots for stuff like even Toy Story 5 but definitely for Minions and Moana and giving it to movies that weren't selling out matinees like Disclosure Day and MOTU, but far too many of the bookers are lazy and just shove one movie on to one screen at a location, for that week, and call it 'job done, time for my coffee break.'>>11845502I'm the one saying streaming isn't 'profitable.' You should reply >>11845119 to this guy whose essentially claiming streaming is a huge success. I'm sure that anon would claim something like MOTU isn't designed for streaming or only the original cartoons would work on streaming the way old episodes of things like SUITS and THE OFFICE are a 'success.'
>>11845568It's also the fact did and bkue ray sales are down across the board which cuts into their bottom line. They also spent 100 million just advertising the film for theaters. This shit would probably take a bit to make its money back it it was released when Dvds and tv were still profitable.

I've actually seen the Flash Gordon that way, and twice in fucking theaters on a Fathom re-release where we even paid for the fucking 4DX at Regal, and once at a pre-covid theater that showed old films for $5. I've only ever seen any cartoons since this movie was announced and only a tiny bit and only on YouTube. Was this some great movie? NAH.Was it entertaining? SURE.Did I enjoy myself? YEP.Did we pay $26 for the Cinemax ScreenX? YESAnd we thought it was worth it, even the people in our group who don't collect toys or watch genre, including the two girls who were on this 'group date' along for the ride.tl;dr - it's just a fucking movie, son.there are better and more important things to be angry or disappointed about in the world just in the past two months.
>>11847018>>11847088TFOne flopped and had a shit cast, neither of which I'm happy about.
>>11847302>And I REALLY love heman.It's spelled He-man.
>>11847506>disappointed about in the world just in the past two months.Im so disappointed none the UAP videos were meteorbs. I want to believe
>>11847506why you are so upset? is it just because there is people that didn`t like the movie?
>>11847497Target right? I've got two in my area and the clearances aren't universal one had that Superman movie 4 pack for 70% off and the other had full price on it. The one by my work had the Roton for 25% off and those Netflix One Piece figures 70% off so I got them.
The Retro Power coloring book is showing up at Walmart stores if you don't want to order from Amazon. Same price.>https://www.amazon.com/dp/1640366024/

>>11847561That's my only post about the movie in this thread, I wasn't the person arguing with that guy. There are movies (and probably lore) worth arguing about but anon is just going: >movie was shit, movie didn't make money because movie was shitand repeating it like it's his security blanket and nothing else matters in the world until mom shows up to take him safely home. He's actually the person who is being excessive or effusive, I'm just telling him to chill out, and used myself as an example (and my particular friend group) as we were all, save one guy, new to the lore, new to he-man, by and large, etc.
>>11847805He's samefagging to bait you. You're still replying to him.

>>11847805Are you new to these threads? There is a discord where these guys coordinate to troll people. It's pretty sad...gatekeeping a 40 year old toy franchise but here we are.
