My Storm Zangiefs arms are loose. Will clear nail polish on the ball joints help fix this?

These are the best Scooby figures we'll ever get and I want to help make sure we get them. But I know I wouldn't be buying all these full price monsters if the completion of the gang didn't depend on it. Is this fishman a good figure worth ~35$, I'd say so, but I don't really need him on my shelf.
