>>11851469>>11851470>>11851472Who even buys these? No one in these threads.
>>11851474Not everyone is poor like you
>>11851483Post your marvel hot toys with time stamp.
>>11851483I have better things to spend my money on than MCU and Rivals slop. And I don't do 1/6th because I like character variety.
Doomsday Trailer is out. What MCU figures do you want? https://youtu.be/irVNGjRFZGk
>>11851486I wouldn't want to make you feel even more like a poor piece of shit than you already do.
>>11851491ghost
>>11851492I didn't think so lol
>>11851494Hope your food stamps come in
>>11851491Weird they didn't drop this at SDCC this weekend. As for figures for this, I don't think I care enough to want figures from this. I've kinda checked out on the MCU, even the new Spider-Man isn't thrilling me, and I love Spider-Man.
>>11851498So no hot toys?
>>11851502A few, what? You can't afford any?
>>11851502Just stop responding to him, he's just looking to argue with someone because he has nothing better to do all day.
Stop talking to yourself.
>>11851507You're describing the person you just responded to
>>11851491>"TRUST ME GUYS, THIS THE BIGGEST MOST BADDEST THREAT EVAR!"
>>11851520I don't read comics, what is the story of Doom they are pulling from? I know white Doom got God powers and ripped Thanos spine out. is this that story? Or when he stole Beyonders powers? Or are those the same?
>>11851501I really just want a better yelenathankfully her costume and hair in this movie is almost exactly the same as Thunderbolts, so if they do make a figure and it does actually look like Pugh, I could just swap out the lame 2 pack one
I enjoy evil women.>>11851491James Marsden in the Jim Lee suit continues to be the only hype thing about this movie.
>>11851526those are the same story but this will probably only be loosely based on that
>>11851526The film seems to be pulling elements from those stories but is it's own thing that doesn't seem to be really based on anything directly.>>11851533I want to say he's referring to the 80s Secret Wars story when he's talking about Doom stealing the Beyonder's power. If we're being technical, and if I'm remembering correctly, he did steal the powers from the race of Beyonders in Secret Wars 2016 to become God Emperor Doom where he ripped out Thanos' spine. But that's Secret Wars 2016, he only stole the human looking Beyonder's powers is Secret Wars 1984
>>11851469>Shows off less tummy than the MLReally?
>>11851491If any of them go to Ollie's I'll check them out
>>11851552What was the last wave that even hit Ollies? I feel like that time has passed. I don't really see Legends at my local Ross anymore, I never saw all the two packs that were hitting there.
>>11851491absolutely none of them, but I'll probably watch a cam release for this one
Got the gladiator deathbird 2-pack today. The joints are surprisingly tight on gladiator. Really nice figure though. I think Frank's a bit out of his depth.
>>11851545They're probably scared online puritans will mistake her for a minor and they'll have another Ahsoka situation.
>>11851491Doom, gambit the mushmouth, shang chi, maybe the improved fantastic four or loki
>>11851575based blue tack utilizer
>>11851575Shoot his confidence, Frank!Glad to hear that set is good though, I'm probably gonna get it soon now that I've got Lilandra and Brood Wolverine on the way.
>>11851612buy mine it's sealed
>>11851459Dame they really cheated out on this Spider-Man. Couldn't even make a new web effect so it didnt look like complete shit in black. Atleast he's pinless.
>>11851612Im tempted by that 2 pack as well. May get it on sale. Getting the shelf and villains 3 and 2 packs were good timing as they got me more weapons and effects for frank which I didn't consider at the time I got them.
>>11851529Head looks comically large
>>11851682Maybe if you register her hair her head size. Otherwise I'm not seeing it
>>11851612you buy a lot.
>>11851474Amazing, you're everyone in these threads?
>>11851682It should have been her thighs and hips
>>11851697I mean, has anyone actually posted their Hot Toys in these threads? At least within the last few years?
Holy shit. Stop talking to yourself! Go touch grass.
>>11851727never seen one myself. I started getting into it but started selling them off before ever even displaying anything
Force Works USAgent came in the mail and he had a hideous paint job on the face Speckled dots and a medium sized paint scratch on the right cheek. Amazon is doing a return/replace (I hope) and this is the first time I've done one of these so what should I expect?
>>11851735They're a cool novelty and all, but unless you're super into the MCU or whatever other IPs they do, then they're not really worth the space imo. Price isn't the issue, it's how much space they take up.
>>11851740I've done a bunch of these over the years, they should just automatically approve the replacement and just send it out to you. It'll show up as a regular order on your account with a charge of $0.00 so you can track the package and what not that way. Then, depending on your selected return method, they'll send you a shipping label or QR code. Then you'll take the toy to whichever venue you selected as your drop off, I choose the UPS store since there is one right by my house, have them scan the barcode/QR code, and then they take the toy and ship it back to Amazon. You'll need to return the toy and it's original package, I usually return the boxed figure back in the original shipping box Amazon sent me if I still have one, UPS doesn't even require me to tape it up and once I returned something to a Whole Foods and they didn't even require a shipping box. Really, I've never had an issue doing this and usually get the replacement figure before I even have a chance to drop the bad one off. You shouldn't have problems.
>>11851741As opposed to..a Galactus, Sentinel, Giant Man, etc?
>>11851741And the fact they can't pose for shit.
>>11851748I mean, in my case, the main reason I skipped Galactus was because I don't have the space for such a large toy. Cool as it may be. I did get the 97 Sentinel and managed to find a decent place for it, but it's also a good deal smaller. For Hot Toys, if I were to get an entire collection of what I liked, it would take over my entire display space, and I have a whole room in my house dedicated to my toys.>>11851753This too, I'd be afraid of ruining the outfits if I were to pose them too much.
>>11851526It's a mix of elements from the Incursion plots prior to that "Secret Wars" (but not the original) story with some force AvX elements to justify completely killing them off to merge them into the MCU via a full reboot after the next movie. There's no Illuminati or even an actual connection to Reed Richards whatsoever.
>>11851575>>11851622No one cares, ben.
I'm trying to round up my collection of 3.75 Marvel figures, and I'm looking for a stand-in for Kingpin, as, as far as I know, there never was one released in the line. Does anyone know if a figure from a different line could pass as a Kingpin with relative compatible size/style ?
When is that target exclusive final swing Spiderman figure dropping, I don't wanna miss out on it.
>>11851772No word yet. I actually am gonna grab it as well, I broke my original one because the hips were tight and I was a ham hands.
>>11851520The constant swill of toy releases, the chatter about exclusives and drop times. It is also something that has become so tiresome. I look for lines I can drop just to take it off my mental plate.
>>11851741agree>>11851748i got rid of those too, i never even unboxed my sentinel i'm just waiting for Pulse to sell out before I post mine. They already increased MSRP over my initial pre-order so that's nice at least.
>>11851769can't help you with Kingpin but I'll work out a deal with you on the batch that I do have
>>11851776>They already increased MSRP over my initial pre-order so that's nice at least. This is how beaten down collectors are now by the corporations. They view it as nice that the price increased after they got their preorder in as if that somehow means they got a good deal. As if the price for this product going up will not impact future products they will want to buy from the same company.
>>11851775Really? If you're stressing about buying toys I feel bad for you. Just set a reminder on your phone and don't forget. Only time I really have trouble getting figures is if I order something from Amiami on Bandai night, which I just don't do anymore, I wait for other sites to get whatever it is I'm going for, and Target Exclusives. I have a track record of like 50/50 of getting Target Exclusives.>>11851780Stop being such an overly dramatic woman.
>>11851780but I don't really want any future products
Jada's $30 scooby-doo toy line have butterfly joints, waist ball joints, and toe joints on top of using new body mold and yet Hasbro couldn't do the same for the new Rivals molds. You'd think Rivals being a one-time mold they would give Spiderman the best articulation possible
>>11851778What do you have ?
>>11851786No one cares anti Hasbrony. Here's your (You)
>>11851786Wait for the inevitable figuarts for Marvel Rivals.
>>11851786You're not going to convince anyone to stop buying Hasbro products this way lil guy.
>>11851773I bought the og nwh final swing fig and had to boil it like 5 times for it's joints to loosen up, and then I had to use an exact knife to trim off some plastic on his legs so they wouldn't snap off. He's pretty posable now but holy shit I shouldn't have to do all that just so I could move his arms and legs. that fig had like zero QC
>>11851825I was able to get one of his legs to freely move without issue, but the other hip joint snapped on me as I tried working the leg free. It was a gift, so not a huge loss, but still, annoying.
>>11851786Looks like shit, can't even come out on time. Go away.
>>11851854Because they have neck and toe joints while being cheaper than a Marvel Legends that reuses 99% of the body?
>>11851868Again, you're not convincing anyone to stop buying MLs this way. I don't know what you're hoping to accomplish here.
>>11851787not a ton, this bin is mostly star wars but there's good stuff. Gambit, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Iron Man, Cap....Got some DC too if you wanna fit those in. This bins at the very bottom of my list, the only one I've actually listed is a Punisher and he never moved so I'll accept the reality that no one actually wants these at this point.
Better late than never to get the old band back together. Had the toughest time finding Maverick, I accidentally tossed him in my Avengers tub, Only found him because I was looking for another figure
>>11851892>>11851787
>>11851868Toe joints suck. You've lost.
>>11851892>>11851898tree fiddy
>>11851786But its scooby doo so its irrelevant. thats the problem with making good figures. if they are of the wrong thing, it doesn't matter at all.
>>11851868I would rather suck hasbro ceo Chris Cock's cock than buy jada.
>>11851902This. If I want Scooby Ooo figures, I'd get them. But I don't care enough about Scooby Doo to drop $150 on the main gang while having to wait half a decade just to finish off the main five.
So at no time is he wearing this costume in the movie right? This is just Hasbro using the movie as an excuse to make a classic Boomerang?
>>11851913Yes. What do you think of his Boomerang nipples?
>>11851913it's timed with the movie obviously but it's not relatedif there is going to be a full Brand New Day wave, or at least more figures, they'll announce them for SDCC probably
>>11851795im not paying $100 for niguarts lol. blokees already gave a better-than-bandai quality for $15
>>11851922Delusional.
>>11851922I'm convince that those who own blokees don't actually play with their figs or they'd know how fragile model kits are compared to action figs.
>>11851913Honestly this is a great approach
>>11851922>better-than-bandai quality for $15lmao
>>11851922Blokees are absolute trash
>>11851948I don't know why they didn't do this sooner. It's a good way to get comic style characters out there while there interest is high. I'll probably grab BOMMERANG. I prefer his more modern costume but I don't hate his classic one either.
>>11851940>fragile model kitsI've built probably 50 model kits by now starting from August of last year. From Bandai to Blokees to Kotobukiya to even chinese original IPs, haven't broken a single thing. The only "people" who think model kits are fragile are retard fatties with fat ugly brown fatty hands. The same fatties to who also break figuarts and mafex wrist pegs, I bet
>>11851954>I don't know why they didn't do this sooner.they've done it numerous timesThe comic-based Purple Man and Typhoid Mary figures came out suspiciously close to their appearances in the Netflix shows, as an example
>>11851959True, same with the Bullseye/Muse set that came out this year for Born Again. I just think there is added benefit of using movie packaging to tie it into the movie release. It is also a good way to put off doing an actual wave based on the movie itself until they get more finalized designs from Marvel/Disney since normally, if they get figures out in time to tie in for their movie, they're usually based off non screen accurate concept art.
>>11851955i collect gunpla you retard, i know the fragility of model kits and they're not like action figures.
>>11851955Why do you turn this thread into a house of lies?
>>11851975It's a weird desperation to make Hasbro look bad. He's the same guy lamenting about the Jada figs too. He's trying so hard to convince everyone to not buy Hasbro products. It's so forced and weird.
>>11851965translation = youre a snapshitter with fat retard hands and break shit
>>11851984You're trying too hard bud.
>>11851986didnt deny it tho
>>11851987I'm not even that guy, but no, when I used to do models I wasn't just a snapshitter. A even submitted a couple of builds to various group builds over on /m/s gunpla thread.
>>11851622Nice. My punisher should arrive next week.>>11851767Post your toys retard or stfu.
>>11851786Their shoulders aren’t actually butterflies, they are ball like the waist so they can move freely in any direction.
>>11851769You can supplement the marvel universe 3.75 inch line with some of the old figures from the toybiz 5 inch linesObviously they're old and don't articulate or look as good as newer figures, but for some characters it might be your only choice
>>11852121Grande is right.
>>11851898>>11851892No wonder I never get the hands (or any accessories that actually factory shipped with something) from loose, second-hand figure purchases
>>11852121The difference in scale is too large in between a 3.75 fig and that larger 5" fig. Thanks anyway !
>>11851694I do, though most of my recent pick ups were things I splurged on for my birthday and I'm trying to cut back for at least the rest of the month (but I say that almost every month).>>11851895I'd say too bad there's no ML Kane to complete the line-up, but I kind of don't blame Hasbro on that one.
>>11851491I want the classic iron man and captain america we’ll see in the movie
>>11851491Make them all, Hasbro. Every single one should at least have three variants.Do it, faggot, I dare you.
He's a big guy
>>11852173Honestly, if a figure comes with alternate parts then at least a little ziplock baggy should be standard in the pack to keep everything together.
>>11852299Ollies would welcome it
>>11852316Personally, I prefer the plastic tackle boxes you get at Bass Pro shop to store accessories. I usually group stuff like teams together, for example, I have one spot allocated for all the Astonishing X-Men's different heads and hands. It works well enough. Although sometimes, if I'm looking for a specific part, it can be a pain if I don't know which box it's in. I have like eight boxes full now. Takes me like a year and a half or so to fill one.
Marvel OP is such a fucking cuck.
>>11851786Lockjaw, Abomination, and Nemesis/Holocaust lookin' good.
>>11852227For larger characters like kingpin, he's undersized for the 5 inch scale to be able to fit on a regular card back, so they may still fitI've seen pictures of people doing exactly what I suggested, with Nimrod from the X-Men being a specific example of a bigger guy fitting with the 3.75 inch figures
Talking about what wolverines we had last thread I said I had this pack but found out I didn't. Had to fix that so thank you ebay. Brand new for 30 bucks.
>>11852580
>>11852581Did you know some colors in POM do not have a PVC equivalent and are thus impossible to match?
>>11852588Maybe they should use a different color then
>>11852591Maybe you should be more realistic in your expectations for mass produced products.
>>11852581That's OK. He's already worth almost 20 more than I paid. I didn't buy him to look at his meaty thighs
>>11852581You have autism
>>11852594Holy shit the bootlicking is unreal.
>>11852606>Hurr durr if you don't get unreasonably upset over this minor nitpick you're a bootlicker You need a hobby sister. You're not going to convince anybody to stop buying Marvel Legends. Give it a rest.
THE DREAMISDEAD!
>>11852606That's nothing compared to the MCU's heyday. These days we only get like one mass replying shill every two days or so. Seems they downsized that department as well.
>>11852363Get the fuck out of my thread.
Holy shit, stop talking to yourself!
>>11852606You don't buy toys
>>11852621>At last... FREEDOM!>Now behold my mighty hand!
>>11852647>my mighty hand which is mismatched with my other hand!
>>11852654>mismatched with my other hand!Wut? I'm not sure what you're complaining about. The paint is matching on both hands.
>>11852654>fake outrage complaining about the hands being in different positionsReally sad bro. The hate towards Hasbro around here is so forced.
>>11852591That's wolverines color
>>11852647They needed to give him fist hands
Free will is a privilege, not a "right"!>>11852647Nice! I had low expectations for him in terms of articulation because of how old he is and he is a bit of a brick, but I love the way he looks. I still think the design and concept for Onslaught are pretty strong despite how quickly off the rails everything with him went. Also, I missed out on the initial preorders, so thanks again to the anon who mentioned seeing him briefly back in stock on the Target site. I probably could have gotten one in store eventually, but I appreciate being saved the effort and not having to wait for him.
Those who thought Onslaught would not sell out were wrong. Such is the power of the disaster from the 1996 X-men pilaster.
>>11852725Has he hit stores yet? I haven't made it to Target in over a week, and my store hadn't reset yet.
>>11851913was the big red bar at the bottom that says "Comic Edition" not enough of an indication?
>>11852746No, because it means they chose not to release a movie version, same with Scorpion. The Hulk and Spider-man for the movie could also pass as comic style figures.
>>11852748Spider-Man and Hulk are technically not screen accurate to the movie and it's more than likely Hasbro only based them off of concept art in order to get them out in time for the movie. It's actually kind of nice to have tie in merch actually out for the movie release. As for other releases, it's a good chance that they'll do the villains in a wave down the line. Spidey villains always sell, even MCU ones. Just because they're doing comic tie ins to the movie, doesn't mean movie figures are completely off the table.
>>11852748>No, because it means they chose not to release a movie versionNo it doesn't
>>11852748>The Hulk and Spider-man for the movie could also pass as comic style figures
>>11852768Why do so many of the people on this site get so upset at essentially nothing?
>>11851898Thanks for the pics. I do have all the characters I need from what I see on your pics. Good luck selling !
>>11852816>so upsethe called you a retard, get over it
>>11852833I didn't really clarify, but I agree with him. I was more asking why the guy he responded to got upset over essentially nothing. I didn't really convey that though so my bad.
>>11851965Blokees are barely model kits, they're just unassembled action figures for the most part. They're nothing like gunpla.
>>11852647That's a cool Deadpool
>>11852885No, they're more gunpla than action figures. Action figures aren't hollow.
