last thread's Rahkshi
>>11878911
some people are delusional
>>11878877Sweet. I need to source some drills for my Toa of Iron since I can't turn up my Rock Raiders chrome drills for some reason.>>11878911>>11878912Pretty cool and relatively subtle revamp, would be interested to see how the spine machetes were attached.
>>11878950Guy that made it speaking, you can basically put 5 of these through a Rahkshi back and they hold relatively firmly. Then decorate as you please. The machetes themselves are actually a bit shit because they don't hold securely in the cone pieces, think on account of the ridged handles. You can probably see where one of them wobbled sideways in the second pic while the figure was being posed. But machetes aside, it is a good way to make a custom spine, just find any minifig-scale blade/spike/tool piece that matches roughly with a Bionicle weapon.
>>11878973They just slide in from the back, then? Sounds like a better compromise than the one I came up with. I don't think I have many of those but I'll have to give it a try.
>>11878942>I know what I gotEbay is just completely fucked now.
>>11878942
>>11879000Breddy much, yeah. Might slide back a bit since there's some empty space in the back, but a sixth one would just plain fall out and it's easy to fix it as you go.
>>1187894295% of the price is the stupid gray mask
>>11879620$7 dollars at most on bricklink for both masks if in same country as seller, even cheaper in europe
Has anyone ever built those guys? I never see anyone talk about them
what does /biog/ of my cool MOCit still needs legs lol
>>11881182Reminds me of the dark hunters in a good way, I like the random stud there
>>11881182It looks like a real set/combiner.
>>11881182It's neat, though I'm having difficulty parsing what it is supposed to be. Some sort of dragon? Which bit is the head? I'm assuming it's the one with the Bohrok teeth and not the thing near the top.
>>11881190I had to look up dark hunters, I'm such a lore noob. It does look like that, thanks>>11881290ty, it was fun coming up with it>>11881384here's a better pic of the head. I need better lighting and angles to stage photos. I really really need to create some legs for this guy so it can finally be finished. I created it like 4 years ago and never got around to making the legs.it's the build I'm most proud of, because of how complex it is. I have to admit, I did totally rip-off the gold Piraka set with the bulky body that has the Piraka feet in between the two torso pieces. Other than that, totally original build
>>11881437I'll also add, the thing extending from the back of the head is like a giant, thick braid coming out and standing up. the transparent red spike pieces are the eyes
>>11880757I get that they just did Hahli/Macku and Hewkii/Hafu(really Taipu tho) for the sake of tying into the film and Matoro/Kopeke were basically just there to fill space, but I really do wish they'd done a proper elemental set of 6 instead.
>>11881499imo they should have kept the Tohunga design with a new arm that can hold Kohlii sticks and shields, and made 6 2-packs, with Kapura and someone else for the Ta-Matoran rep if they wanted to keep Takua and Jaller on the titan sets
>>11576571Well I finally have it in my hands. I don't even know why I bought it but eh, I guess I'll built this mask a body since I don't like the Takutanuva set.
>>11881510Sadly, we would still have been much more likely to wind up with MN*G2 literal whoes than an actual full Chronicler's Company.>>11881919Yeah, once you actually have it in your hands, the novelty kind of wears off, dunnit.
>>11881982It is what it is, here's a tiny body I built on the spot. Some colors are wrong cause I don't have spare parts.
>>11882140ay that's sick
>>11882140Evil midget vibes
Hey, to the guy doing bionicle mocs off of slizer and roboracers, do you think it would be possible to do the same but instead its turning Galidor characters into them? Almost certain its not fully possible without a bit of paint for when it comes to doing Nick Bluetooth’s violet but sacrifices must be made
>>11883856I like that pink mask a lot. Kopaka if he Ice Planet. Just needs a little antenna.
>>11883856I fucking hate that nigger-tier shoulder connection on the right so much.Anyway, can't say it's something I've ever given much thought to. I suppose aside from the *indigo* there's not really a whole lot that stands out anyway colour-wise.
>>11883871The guy who took the pic based it off that
I feel like the Toa Mata had a nice "cute but cool" look to themTheir proportions, the way they move, etcI feel like G2 could've done something like that and then went with the beefier designs as their Nuva equivalent
>>11884137I've always felt like the G2 guys were going for Nuva energy out the gate. I didn't mind it though, I appreciated how they all had actually different builds in G2, they felt like a genuine reinvention rather than just trying to retread G1, which obviously couldn't ever be totally recaptured. The Matoran were where I felt G2 really stumbled, they could have been a lot cuter and less samey.
Ga-Matoran fisherwoman. Very pleased with how articulate it is for something at this scale. The cheese slopes that fill out the hockey foot piece can be removed and replaced by 40598b, the part that looks like a smaller version of Gali's flippers, but I only have one unfortunately. The hands are exclusive the Mr. Freeze set from the Lego Batman Movie which is pretty lame because it's a really nice part.
>>11884338Another angle.
>>11884338The fuck, how did I never know about those hands? They look super useful for matoran builds
>>11884339“Another Angle” indeed kek
>>11884153actually giving them names also would've helped
I love WoS.
>>11884502>I consent!>I consent!>I don't!
>>11884591Sidorak is the one saying "I don't" btw
>>11884642Well I figured that went without saying.
>Biomedia Project's preserved books are mostly someone taking pics of a book he's opened>The comics have poor image qualityNew scans when? Can't believe Bionicle autism hasn't crossed that line
>>11884377They do have names actually....in the supplementary material like those two graphic novels and three chapter booksI don't get why Lego was so hesitant on names The fucking skeletons in Ninjago all had all unique names and character bios even if most of them became crowd filling NPCs on the show
>>11884338nice to see the skate foot piece get more usethough that pin connection seems illegal
>>11884803Profoundly so.But at this point I've seen so much barnigger faggotry that basic technic illegality doesn't so much as faze me.
