As the white version became more widely available, the original green release became more sought after due to scarcity, not because it was a chase variant.

Beast is an obsession for some collectors. The character in xmen92 is so affable everyone save a few want him. But...those who know what he has become in the comics are not so jovial to the idea of a comic Beast on their shelf...waiting, planning, looking for any sign of weakness.
