From what I can gather, he's pretty solid. My only gripe is that the protector armour has a bit of a gap under it for the cape. Probably very easy to mod. I might get him once the price gets slashed.

These Blokees Ultraman kits to me are basically just the SHF upscaled to 1/10, although King himself has no figure. Now I understand why Bandai's FRS line for Ultraman died since 2024 now that Blokees has essentially filled that Ultraman model kit demand. I'm curious if Keeppley will still make Ultraman. Id say theyre slightly worse than the shf in articulation (varies case by case) BUT theyre much better value with price accessories, a motherfucking stand, and they light up. I bought blokees belial last month and i love it but i perfer playing with my shf more. If i had to choose though, id probably buy the blokees if they keep on shitty shf pricing. Im glad an anon told me about the noa blokee. I didnt waste 100 on the shf and got a perfectly decent blokee for 40.

Honestly not bad for my first Blokees model. Main hang ups are the loght up features being a bit finicky and the arm cannon needing the entire arm to be rebuilt is excessive.

I haven't built this one, I really just don't like MCU Iron Man and I don't have any real interest in the MCU, I just bought because I needed to add something for free shipping and I figured if I didn't get this particular version, I might regret it later and it might be overpriced. I'm glad I did because Entertainment Earth turned out to be the least expensive option and the regular one was loads cheaper from Walmart.

I think you suffer from a lack of imagination and the knowledge that Blokees doesn't seem to act like a normal company would.
You would think if they wanted and got permission to do a movie Superman figure, they would have done the same for AT least something live action DC besides that - but no Kara with puppy Krypto, no Lobo with space hog, and even with the fascination for wanking all things Bat, no sign so far that we're getting a classic or legends sized Clayface this fall, either.

But you can purchase what are typically called "identified" blokees - some of the North American sites on the WTB paste in the OP specialize in that, especially with the TFs or if you aren't in the states, several of the Ali Express vendors do it.

Not sure, but people are combing stuff and it seems universal. I doubt you can go BACKWARDS earlier than wave 7 (unless someone shows you that you can without breaking or damaging something), but you should be able to add the ball joints to anything wave 7 and LATER.

I'm sick and tired of Mega Man X always getting the lion's share of merch. I'm glad Zero series Zero exists and hope he heralds more Zero series characters being made into model kits, and that Crapcom will stop churning out the same old one-off toylines of that overhyped Limitless Potential Man X. People call Zero a line-killer but it's clear Crapcom doesn't think anyone who isn't X isn't worth their time (barring Kotobukiya), and so they kill off everything once their bumbling blue Boy Scout gets his figures over and done.

Frankly the Zero series has a lot of good options for figure designs. I'd be down for a cheap pack of Pantheons from Blokees so I can army-build Zero's next enemies to rip and tear, or Resistance members for the inverse.

Was waiting for that one. Still bummed that the shoulder pylons are not able to rotate, even via a ring attached to the stem of the shoulder, should you want to keep them vertical. The range of the arms is so limited as is. At least it doesn't have those stupid panels on clips for the chest armor like EVA-01 that would keep falling off as soon as you try to move the arms. Look, for most collectors, items between 10 to 20 are easy buys- especially for the more casual viewers of whatever IP; which is what EVA is for me.

It is a hard ask of me to throw $40+ for something that I while I do like it, but ain't "life-altering event" like MGS or even transformers franchise.
Used to be seasonal shows and new original IPs figure and toys would came with a much lower price (around 10 to 15) figures and toys that people can buy. Now you have a show that is less than 12 episodes and the only toys/figures of it are priced at $50+. That is insane.

Japanese companies are super anal about their IP, so it’s interesting that they were allowed to use these designs. Jada wasn’t even allowed to use the Vega claw colour from the game, and his claw is only one handed because Capcom said so.

Finally, someone says the quiet part aloud. X1-X2 were top-tier, but X3 falls off musically and storywise, X4 was good, X5 was X4 but more flawed, and X6 was a damn mess that only a fan could improve. X7 is a godawful abomination even if Axl himself's not too bad, and X8 was genuinely good.
So basically only 4 good ones, two mid-tiers, and two horrible messes, and that's just the main numbered ones alone.

Add that to X being a whiny little Gundam protagonist wannabe who can't fundamentally bring peace as he pontificates due to how he's basically a dog of the state upholding a pro-human social order, and you get a lot of dissonance between his motivation and the actual content of his games.

I stand by the idea that a hypothetical Elf Wars game series is the only way to better rerail his character into the destiny he was SUPPOSED to have.

Finally got my Zero

-Everything except for the torso is very well articulated
-Solid. Nothing pops out, very easy to pose. Good stability too thanks to the big ass shoes
-Aside from all of the greebles and the differences in color it really looks like the games' artwork
-Good Size. A lot of people think he should be smaller but even with this appearance Zero is supposed to be a decently tall Robot. He is like 1.75 m in relation to 1/12 figures
-Having the saber, the recoil rod, the buster and the Z-knuckle
-Is cheap, you can get many of these for a good price

-Almost 100% bare plastic, it doesn't have a finish like the eva 01 or other kits so it's not pretty
-The hair is pretty bad. Just a piece of yellow plastic. Too flat it looks like cloth instead of hair
-Hands don't grab the weapons freely. Saber hands have already sculpted holes for insterting the handles and the trigger hand needs to be built around the buster
-Bad torso but hips and neck are pretty good so you can work around it

You possibly don't recognize the tags, but this store is a clearance outlet, the primarily sell clothes, but each one has small sections of other things, like arts and crafts, the really cheap accessories for cell phone (awful cases, cords that damage your electronics), home goods like plates, pans, etc.
And toys. A lot of the toys are no better than a good sale price on an e-commerce site. But you can find good deals, like these Bandai Godzilla figures.
It's especially good towards the end of the year or for stuff that's pink tagged.
That open box was $5.99, allegedly reduced from $9.99 MSRP. Since the single boxes are actually on Blokees Official for $8.99, that's already BS right there.
But since the box was open and the two packages inside has been torn, they let me take it for less than the sticker priced.
The other box is from a different location (same chain) it was 'full' (discount) price but worth grabbing to me out of curiosity and money to burn, same reason I first picked up a Transformer Defenders box and a Galaxy box. Even though I have no interest in TFs at all.
And that second box has the proper Blokees stamped sealed. I learn to check for that from originally needing to buy from Ali.

NTA but I get the feeling that the SEA market and even Far East market doesn't get the whole promo picture thing that people in other territories are so used to, except for high end imports. Even with, for example, SHF and Mafex 1000s of yen, $100 figures, they get a set of promo shots because those do require pre-orders and aren't essentially mass-produced.
Even the CT KO's seem to follow the same model and those look like they get higher production runs, but these are somewhat educated guesswork based on what I have seen the past decade.
Blokees sold in the 10s of millions in the last quarter they reported (albeit across all IPs), so you can extrapolate that they sold some 70 to 80 millions toys that entire year (2024), which is comparable to Hasbro/Mattel numbers, so they aren't needing to rely on pre-orders to give them an idea on what to produce.
Blokees also seems to do pretty minimal promo - but that seems to imitate what other FE companies do - they only provide one promo picture of some of their Pop Mart style blind boxes, the same way Pop Mart does even for large IPs like Spider-Verse.
Whereas Funko, if they release even a bitty Pop of Spider-Verse, will give you multiple views of the figure (admittedly, not a blind box but I didn't waste the time looking up how Funko promotes their blind box crap).

It might be expensive.
I was interested in the Snorflax after it was pretty hard to find in North America and even Ali has it at scalper pricing.
I don't blame them - it's no worse than when I used to buy records and the stores sold imports for high markups because they were out of print.
But it's a bit too much like comic book stores or manga shops, selling an omnibus or tanko they got to sell for MSRP and then marking it up to absurd prices because the fucking printers wouldn't just do a second or third run.
$70+ is absurd for something I just snap together a few pieces of plastic.

Feeling like a ginormous fucking retard right now.
Got my first Blokees kits and started assembling my Clone Trooper. I've had some shitty Tamiya basic tool set laying around, so I went with it, and immediately fucked up surface, got nubs and and other unsightly shits.
Put the build on hold for now. Do I need to invest into some decent hobby knife and nippers, like Godhands or whatever? I don't want to fuck up my build any further.

hmm all I can see here is just that it needs some sanding. just sand it down nicely. blokees kits are meant to be twisted off the runners so you're not fucking anything up, really. the absolute worst-case scenario here would be a dirtied up, banged up, clone trooper who saw some action. you COULD buy godhands but for blokees its super overkill. I personally don't even use my nippers on blokees these days, not even on legends kits. i just pop em out and sand them with 600 grit stick and 1500 grit cause im a lazy fuck. i do recommend water-based panel liners though.

I bought a cheap tool box used for beads and craft crap like that, it had like 5 things, including a pair of needle nose clippers, and the ones that work on metal - so I don't think you need anything more "decent" than that. I think I spent $5 or maybe $7-8 at a clearance store, but I am sure you can order something like that from Ali (if you are not in the states) or off Walmart if you are.
Hell, if you are in the states and have a TJ Maxx or Ross nearby, or something similar, or better yet, a Hobby Lobby/Hobby Town, just go there.

next marvel champion class is...cyclops. im disappointed because they're making a shit version of him rather than doing the rivals version. don't get me wrong, figure looks nice but I just know this cyclops is gonna be a fodder character in the movie since he's already being replaced in a reboot
