Is there a reason why Armada Wheeljack got retired as a character after Armada show wise? He kept showing up in the Energon comics but never appeared in Energon or Cybertron not even in modified form...
>>11882790He reconciled with the Autobots best he could, left the Decepticons, and got the fuck out of dodge. And given how beyond the pale dirty they did Starscream and Demolisher (but especially Starscream), I'm glad Takara made damn show the makers of the Unicorn trilogy could not take Wheeljack and strip away his happy ending
What's the lore behind Mega Zarek? Armada Megatron Suer Super mode? Original character? Local Walmart has him and I'm thinking of getting him but don't know the lore
>>11882829Multiversal Fan Club villain big bad who was a convention exclusive toy. Low production run, the fact that Armada Megatron was one of the most popular Armada molds, and fun colors made him a fan favorite and lots of hoping Has to would retool an Armada Megatron in his colors
Picked up a cheap CHUG Thundercracker recently. The figure is pretty good and makes me want to buy the rest of the seekers. Are they any good and what are my options?
>>11882868Just know that the cheapest way to get the CHUG Seekers are the Takara multi packs, especially since Skywarp can cost you the same price as the Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp pack. Also note that there are two CHUG Starscream figures. The initial Classic version has the same drab color scheme as the first MP Starscream while the Generations Starscream has a proper G1 color scheme
>>11882829Megazarak was one of the last OCs 3H made before they lost the license. He was supposed to be a new form of G1 Megatron for a scrapped Generation 3 storyline, but Hasbro at the time didn't allow the convention guys to make toys of major characters. All that 3H published before they went belly up was that Megazarak massacred his version of Cybertron until Defensor, the unreleased blue RID Prime, was the only Autobot left to stop him. After that it gets fucky. FunPub established the mammoth Nemesis Prime was the dead Optimus of Megazarak's world, Megazarak became a multiversal villain traveling through timelines causing havok and there are possibly multiple versions of him running around.
Found this football guy at Walmart today.Idk shit about footballs, but he was on clearance for $12.
His little helmet comes off I love that
I like that he has a little football but he really could use a cudgel, he sees the type to bludgeon opponents. Didn't that one T30 Megatron repaint come with a little football too?
Well, it certainly is a football helmet. If it were more hollow it might fit on a Titan, but his tucked-in legs get in the way.I wonder if the intended display was robot mode, or this? Is it for me, the toy robot enjoyer, or football fans? I never imagined there was much overlap between the two.

Recently bought a "used-minor package damaged-mint" Onslaught/Bruticus off Amazon back on the 9th for 66. Well it finally shipped and will be here Tuesday but here's the kicker, the money got refunded without notice, no email saying it was canceled or the like and shipped after waiting 2 weeks. Wondering how long before amazon notices the screw up but what I'm wondering now is with the Onslaught I bought once it gets here. Figure someone did a swap or did I get an Onslaught for free ?
>>11883395you think you'll actually get it?
I got my Swerve He's ok I guess
>>11883399Heck if I know, I'll find out Tuesday. I'm still honestly expecting it to be swapped. Going to just keep an eye on the tracker in the meantime

With the SS86 starscream fuckery its fair to say transformers are in a big decline, they really need something like a new game or animated series
>>11884798The storyline does explain it, somewhat.-After train wars, he somehow came back to life (he was also notably from another Universe and working for Unicron.-He no longer works for Unicron, but is still an asshole.-He pulled a machinima and tried to use the dead to take his followers to a new universe, he fails.-He then shifted to just abandoning their universe, then got captured by Liege when they left Cybertron.Currently, Galvatron (BWII) is back and is possessed by a revived Unicron. They are currently beyond fucked and as far as they knew, the OG Matrix was missing.... but Delta seems to have it so let's see where that goes.

To be fair what else they could paint ultra magnus up, paint him piss yellow like that one lucky figure?
Can't find a good background so the orange wall will have to do. Besides the short shoulder cannons connections, all the tabs and connections firmly connect. All the ranges of movements are there. You can even put in a normal standing pose without being forced into the silly A stance unlike MPG Jinrai and MPG Gen Style Prime. This will look great on the desk. There are some issues. The weakest being the feet. The up and down movement on the feet are friction joints, you can feel those joints are barely holding on to the weight of the figure with the help of the sideway rachets and the shape of the soles. My right one is especially looser. The same inconsistent friction joints issue goes with individual bots and in combined mode. The center waist and thighs rotations are somewhat weaker than I like. The shoulder connection to the left is too tight and the right is too smooth. There are still paint issues that bug me.I am not sure what they can do about these problems. As expensive as this thing is, this is still a toy not a high precision manufacturing product. From everything I have read, on the joint strength issue, everyone seems to have different problems at different spots. Even with that, I would put this around the same quality as Missing link- it is just that it being a lot more complex, there will be more issues. there are still plenty around where I live with normal MSPR (and lower) and how Takara went for a repaint and not reissue, I don't think this sold particularly well. I have not heard if they made any changes to the Police version. Having held this in hand and the fact it comes with a clip for action base, I wonder if we are not supposed to have it not on a base without support. If they actually updated the feet, this is probably almost a 9.5/10 for retail toyNow I am wondering if the current main line combiner needed to be that big? If not, do we even need the frame system anymore?
>>11885859I'll never get used to this not being 3P. it's.. it's 3P. it just is. but somehow it's not. But it am.
>>11885859i like the frame system because the individual figures can actually be figures instead of being gimped due to needing to have dedicated combiner hinges/ ratchets, which was the big issue with a lot of combiner wars/ potp figuresthe ss constructicons probably the best of the pre frame combiners that i know of, but even still they have a bit of jank to them

HereHave a yamaguchi Having play with it further, if you are getting this I highly recommend that you mess around with razorclaw by itself. There are some hidden joints that are somewhat counterintuitive for usage once you put Razorclaw into the combined mode, but you will find them during transformation, those should be used for posing instead of non-rachet joints. Also, the joints issues I mentioned with the waist and thighs are fine with just razorclaw by itself- I guess you can't really fight physic and gravity. I will try to tighten some screws to see I can fix-up those loose parts (specially the feet)Though all the screws are black colored. Any good way to prevent scratching the paint when screwing? And if that does not work, any good recommendation on what material to use to fill/tighten the space for the joints?maybe something like nano magic tape? Does that damage plastic (yes I know it will hurt paint)?

>>11886195
There will be no war today, Optimus.
>>11886180>So will they dig up Chalk from whatever storage unit they stuffed himChalk is still out there doing stuff. He's a great actor and honestly deserved to accept the mantle of Optimus Prime for a while. But I doubt it'll happen. I also don't know what his "Optimus" voice sounds like these days. He's kind of got his own sound, and I'm willing to bet they want to go for as exact of a replacement as they can find. Either that, or Prime will become the first legacy character to just fully be replaced by AI.
>>11886180didn't you got a new optimus voice already? I think in "one"? >>11886164>so trashy and passive agresivehow so?
>>11886207>or Prime will become the first legacy character to just fully be replaced by AI.Darth Vader kind of has been that already, James Earl Jones signed off on it before he died and they used it for some of the recent Disney slop. I'd rather not AI Optimus's voice, the chance for experimentation will be lost.
>>11886208>didn't you got a new optimus voice already? I think in "one"?Chris Hemsworth. And he sucked. It'd be an awful tragedy if he somehow got springboarded into the role just because he was the last person to play him.>>11886210>the chance for experimentation will be lost. It's already been lost. We don't do new/expirimental things anymore. Everything has to remain the same for as long as possible for marketability/brand recognition.
>>11886208>how so?Just get the vibe that hasbro hates transformers
>>11886214god you're dumb. Wtf is it with people who constantly treat everything as though it's the victim of something else? Why the fuck would Hasbro hate Transformers? It makes them tons of fucking money. Moron.
>>11886213as bad as EarthSpark was, casting Alan Tudyk as Optimus was pretty inspired. the guy voicing him in Cyberworld right now hits a good balance of doing the voice but also doing something different.
>>11886216Hasbro ststed they want to get out of toys
>>11886219So it's not that they hate transformers; it's that they want to move toward more lucrative things like entertainment and video games. You just have a weird need to make everything personal, so you start claiming they "hate" something just because they are doing something with it that you don't approve of.Also still don't understand how this makes the movie's 40th anniversary marketing seem "trashy" or "passive aggressive". Again, I'd wager you're projecting your own emotions onto completely normal corporate behavior.
>>11886217>the guy voicing him in Cyberworld right now hits a good balance of doing the voice but also doing something different. No? Legit just sounds like someone doing a bad Peter Cullen impression. It's exactly as wooden and uninspired as a majority of Cullen's performances. You seem to just think it's "something different" because it's not 100% identical to Cullen. But he's still 100% trying to emulate Cullen.
>>11886219Toys have been declining to the point every single storefront will get rid of them by 2028
I saw Peter Cullen at TFcon a few years back. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, and that I wanted to be a stronger and kinder person just like him and Optimus. He said, “Oh, like you are doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” and he wouldn't cut me off and I kept going “huh? huh? huh?” and blinking my eyes in front of his face. I walked away and continued with my con-going, and I felt him pat my back as I walked off. When I came to get stuff signed I saw him trying to write autographs for fans for like fifteen people surrounding him without letting them pay.The attendee at the convention was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to make them pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually reached into his bag and put a bunch of Transformers on the desk. When a fan took one of the Optimuses and started transforming it multiple times, he stopped him and told him to transform them each individually “to prevent any Decepticon interference,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think Frank Welker was there that year. After he transformed each car and put them in a bag and started to say "transform and roll out", he kept encouraging her by saying it with her.
>>11886279I don't even think interfetterence is a word

I've watched some reviews on this 2 pack, it seems like the only "issue" with them is that one is a 100% retool without anything new and it doesn't have clear plastic for the windows. Are there any other problems with them? Those would be my first Transformers that aren't Beast Wars related so being only repaints is not a problem for me at all.
>>11886404YMMV with these amazon sets but my Javelin copy had some horrendous QC.Her head literally would not stay on the balljoint no matter how I tried to press it in or modify it, and her new molded parts weren't properly sized to fit the old ones so they just squeeze out of place easily. Her torso just won't stay together. Kaskade on the other hand is completely fine (as 'fine' as that mold can be, anyway), just ugly

>>11886650Because they only took this into account for Grimlock, before they changed things. The rest probably have weird placement if they made the dino heads clear.
>>11886745get a little older. 6 years will pass in a blink.
>>11886747This, TR feels like 5 years ago not 10+
>>11886747>6 years will pass in a blink.6 years. 16 years. 26 years. 36 years. Oops, you're dead.Life's too short to waste waiting for the perfect version of a lump of plastic shaped like fictional character; you're better off just enjoying what you're given - there's no guarantee what you're waiting for will ever actually exist.
>>11886750trust me, I'm thinking about that. I have a lot fewer collecting years ahead of me than behind me, and I've spent way, way too long barely enjoying my stuff because all I do is kinda get out of bed, sit in a dark room for what feels like 10 minutes, then go back to bed.I mean I am customizing right now, but it's the first time I've even touched paint in months.
>>11886747At 42 I am already quite aware of the fleeting passage of time. The wait and see mentality is still baffling to me.
>>11886756Yeah I mean, I'm not that guy, I probably should have said that. The only wait-and-seeing I do these days is wait for the price to come down. I'm not leaving characters I care about alone just because a better one might come along, unless it's COMPLETE garbage. or at least, not enough of an improvement over what I've got. like Quickstrike.. his proportions are just bad and they fucked up the pelvis / beast head area. so I'm just keeping the original on my shelf, even if it's a tad small.
>>11886750>Life's too short to waste waiting for the perfect version of a lump of plastic shaped like fictional characterGood argument against collecting any of this plastic crap in the first place.
>>11886758unfortunately true. if you pull that thread too hard, the entire hobby comes apart
>>11886756I wasted almost 20 years of my life and I'm 40
>>11886758Correct. Unfortunately, collecting is pretty much like taking crack - it's incredibly hard to stop, even if you know you're wasting your time and money.
>>11886735But he didn't say that...
If you don't enjoy then don't do itits really that simple
>>11886637Sadly not, I can just buy T-wrecks for the normal price, Megatron is over 100€. >Jurassic Park crossovers, and both were 2-packsYes but they do have their own problems, I do not feel the cars robot modes at all and Rexy, in my opinion, is the worst looking T-Rex transformer out of the three mold siblings. The Dilo looks great but I don't want to buy a 2-pack for one toy.Seems like I always miss the perfect entry point for toy related things. >>11886520Does anyone know how likely it is to get a busted version? I mean one review said that the transformation for Javelin has some tight fits but you only need to be careful to not scratch the paint, but knowing that when going into it makes it easy to watch out for it. However what >>11886413 mentioned are things that can't be avoided by just being careful.
>>11886747>get a little older. 6 years will pass in a blink.if you are around 40- there is no reason to wait.Im glad SS86 exists. im just enjoying my last days as a carefree toy collector.enjoying toys when you are 50-60years old will be much less fun.

>>11886354>Chris was a decent Orion Pax but not a great Optimus, IMO.No, he was pretty bad at both. He's not a voice actor. The voice acting in TFone was pretty fucking abysmal across the board, really. What happened to all the good voice actors?
>>11886920I hate how almost every gimmick and concept we revisit is inherently inferior to its original execution. Shouldn't toys be getting better? Am I missing something?
>>11886920They can just make a new Comettor work with the same tabs.Only question is how to release it.

>>11886951Not the anon youre replying to but I just love minicons. No Commettor means one less minicon.
>>11887030They would have had to extensively retool his transformation if they made KARR, considering he actually gets a canon robot mode when he got revived in the 2008 reboot.
>>11887030Meh. The two-tone coloring would have only highlighted how badly they fucked up the front end of the alt mode. One of the biggest appeals of the new Trans-Am design for 1982 was how sleek and futuristic it looked. And they fucking borked it. I'd wager KITT didn't sell well, because any Knight Rider enthusiast would have wanted it for an accurate car mode, and they did a pretty bad job of it. Also I feel like Knight Rider is a fairly dead franchise; it's biggest claim to fame at this point is simply "being from the 80s">>11887056>they'd have to retool him to give him a different robot mode in order to be accurate to a show that his alt mode is not attempting to depict. No, that doesn't make any sense.
>>11886988armada jetfire has always looked like a short fat bitch but left is better.
>>11887063>One of the biggest appeals of the new Trans-Am design for 1982 was how sleek and futuristic it looked. My favorite thing about Knight Rider was how in the last season they added that retarded "super pursuit mode" transformation so KITT could go over 300 MPH, when in actuality the 1982 trans am's body was already so aerodynamic it was perfectly stable at speeds over 300 MPH in wind tunnel tests.personally, I would have rather had Agent Knight's alt mode capable of doing picrel, instead of the lights/sounds.
>>11887076How the hell is that supposed to make him faster? Wouldn't all of those flaps opening up like that produce drag?

>>11887131Cool Marvel UK G1 Megatron custom
>>11887131what are the odds hasbro is intentionally doing shit like this to entice people to replace stuff even if they otherwise mightn't have? They already know they can treat their core consumers like retards and still have them dump their wallets. It absolutely can't be a coincidence that pretty much every "definitive" Megatron released over the past 5 years has had some egregious mistake or flaw. I'm 100% convicned they put the blue shins and brown diaper on SS Megatron just to lure people to buy the "battle damaged" version for a parts swap.I understand mistakes happen, but it's suspicious that hi-speed yellowing has suddenly become such an omnipresent issue.
>>11886988>fatI dont get why people call him this ITT he was always meant to fit the robot version of the bara fetish. He was that animes bara pandering.
>>11887151For the yellowing its 5% not everything is a conspiracy. They totally did 86 Megs legs wrong on purpose tho. Every Megatron that isn't a gun is wrong at a fundamental level, simple as.
Are there any good pics of nemesis and jetfire combined?
>>11887154>For the yellowing its 5%Seems more prevalent than that. I've been collecting since the 90s, and yellowing was largely endemic to legitimately old toys that had been exposed to a lot of sunlight. Now we have tons of shit that's yellowing after a year or two, or even right out of the package. It coincides with an epic upswing in Jewery on the part of Hasbro, so it COULD just be unintentional shitty QC, but given that Hasbro's entire business model for the past 5+ years seems to center around getting loyal fans to re-buy minor improvements of the same handful of characters over and over again, I think you can understand why I'm a bit skeptical.
>>11886951It seems to me that Legacy (and by extension the Age of series) was never to actually *improve* anything at all from the old designs, but moreso to just make a new version, point blank. Retread everything under one blanket design philosophy which is of be as cheap as humanly possible while still providing a toy with at least one decent mode.
How's the mtmte war for cybertron Optimus? I plan on getting a optimus fig in the near future and not 100% on the 86 ones due to commander price/the battle damaged look.
>>11887151doubt yellowing is intentional, they just use shitty cheap materials to cut corners.also they 100% did not fix SG starscream, but i'll still get it just cause i missed out the first time.
>>11886032Man
>>11887151Most conspiracy theories are just a way to assign some sort of control over human greed and incompetence. They just fucked up the plastic formula, there's become such a turnover in Hasbro it's not like the people who would've intentionally formulated a bad plastic formula would even be there. How much of the TF team now is even the same from 5+ years ago?
You're gonna carry that weight the rest of your life. So, stay strong.
>>11886830I hear you>>11886874it's true..>>11886951shouldn't everything have been getting better? oh wait, china exists.
>>11886967That's not entirely trueIt's just the rest are old and they don't much get hired anymore unless it's a legacy role. they're enjoying a kind of working retirementAll the good young voice actors though? and all the white males? yes.
>>11887181thats the Gamer Edition one with better paint?Good figure, some people dont like the back of alt mode is exposed, but it's a nice chunky figure. I only have the original but the newer one has more paint and looks nice
How often do you transform your Transformers and do you own any were you say "screw that" without even trying it once?
>Transformers Kingdom Leader Class T-REX MEGATRONfor those who own him, is the plastic still holding up? I remember people being worried that the rubbery plastic will break fast but that was years ago.
>>11887242>for those who own him, is the plastic still holding up? I remember people being worried that the rubbery plastic will break fast but that was years ago.i own 3 versions. The plastic is the same. And i bought one of them not so long ago used - he arrived stuffed inside some bag and dusty (a kid owned him and played with him). and he was still in great condition in terms of plastic/rubber
>>11887244>(a kid owned him and played with him)So kids DO play with transformers
>>11887239>How often do you transform your TransformersI've usually got my most recent pickup close at hand to fiddle with, and I'll typically do a couple of others a day>do you own any were you say "screw that" without even trying it once?doesn't happen often since I tend to watch a review before buying anything. sometimes I'll get something on a whim or decide I like the figure enough to overlook the transformation and in most cases those figures don't get transformed often, the most recent example being RTS Perceptor
>>11887232Yeah that's the one, I really like how smooth his transformation looks so wanted an opinion on how he feels in hand plus i feel like most optimus you end up picking your poison with how his vehicle rear turns out.
>>11887239>How often do you transform your TransformersDepends on the figure, I have a couple on my desk to transformer a couple times a day and others now and again to change up the collections posing >do you own any were you say "screw that" without even trying it once?I transformed Onyx prime once and said fuck you're staying a centaur now, I didn't enjoy the process much when I did it but more than that I found the chimera thingy he becomes ugly and needed more work.
>>11887239At one point or another I have owned probably like 80% of all Transformers ever made. There is only one single figure that I never bothered to transform and that’s MP-36 Megatron. Also MP-44 Optimus, I changed him from truck to robot and never converted him back to a truck ever again.
>>11887244I own and regularly transform Megatron, T-Wrecks, and Tyrannocon Rex; all of them are still in perfect condition with no signs of any tearing from the rubbery bits. Whatever Hasbro used for that mold, it's still holding up somehow.
>>11887267torsos matter.. especially in centaurs. if you can't give a centauroid two torsos, don't make a centauroid.>>11887275yeah the only problem with it is that the side panels tend to bow inward instead of outward. a little heat would probably fix that. I do find it funny how effortlessly they paint rubber, when they have so much trouble with 'unpaintable plastic'
New ROTF Jetfire coming
I feel like some of you anons haven't gotten a new TF since Kingdom.
>>11887314100%. Months back, there was an anon after being pressed for several threads finally admitted they haven’t bought a single TF since like 2013. They post here daily.
>>11887331Seems legit
>>11887295fuck me I was getting ready to buy the dramatic capture one

Figured I'd just get Yolopark/AMK/Blokees non-transformable figures if I want high detail stuff i dont want to transform.
We all know that Cullen's passing won't change Hasbro's tried and true tropes, but would you care to see a shift to other Autobot leaders in the next few years? Whether they be Rodimus, Star Saber, Optimus Primal, or whoever else?
>>11887349Not happening. They're just gonna recast or use AI
>>11887331>finally admitted they haven’t bought a single TF since like 2013Makes sense when you see anons who seem to hate every single new toy that comes out and never post pictures of their own collection.

>>11887349I guarantee they are having this conversation at hasbro right now. Furthermore, I am a bit concerned that this might be the very beginning of the end of the franchise
>>11887413>I am a bit concerned that this might be the very beginning of the end of the franchiseThis franchise has been declining ever since rise of the beasts, transformers one flopping cemented it
>>11887413Uh... no. It's just gonna be this:>>11887355
>>11887417Declining, sureBut we've declined beforeDo we think the brand will live to see a 50th anniversary?
Three Ross stops on my way home from work, I was truly blessed today by RNG.2-pack was $30, Voyager was $18, Blokees was $12, Deluxes were $13, and the small dude was $3.50. Funnily enough these were my first AOTP figures I've bought for myself. The only one I've owned up to this point is Sky Byte that my bro bought me as a gift since he knew how much I wanted him but refused to pay the full retail for. I really wanted Wasp, liked him in the show and really liked the look of this deco, glad I found him on the cheap.
>>11887420>Do we think the brand will live to see a 50th anniversary?Lets see:>reactivate ended up being a chink money laundering scheme that costed hasbro half a billion dollars>earthspark ended up being reviled outside of the core fanbase due to tranny pandering and shat the bed with a garbage final season>transformers one being a 60 million flop that made michael bay direct the movies again>skybound and energon universe in general declining after DJD's run>the toys getting more and more expensive with rampant scalping, shitty QC and cut cornersNo, i do not think this franchise will survive until the 2030s unless hasbro gets its shit together
>>11887295There hasn't been good shit in foreverI'm not waiting till October for a dogshit swindle, If I can't get one soon I clearing this turd out
I have most of the original 1984-85 minibot remakes. I do not know if I should also the recolors (Outback, Wheelie, Tailgate, Swerve & Cliffjumper.) Though, I did get Pipes, during Kingdom to go with Huffer. But it feels like $30 a pop is asking a bit much for recolors.
>>11886032It won't stop hurting. There's an Optimus shaped void sucking away my happiness. It's probably 84 movie PTSD all over again.
>>11887417so sad. i liked the toys, and I wanted to see movie beastformers.
>>11887239>"screw that"I hate RotF Mixmaster.There. I said it. Fuck that toy.
>>11887239I transform all my transformers that can transform at least once
>>11887295So with this we've pretty much got 2028's commanders figured out, it's Jetfire and a combiner torso, probably Hot Spot.
>>11887295Fuck I got a preorder for the dramatic capture through BBTS.I might cancel or I'll keep it and display one as combined.JTprime is legit with his leaks right?
>>11887444>Defensor not til 2028Fucking shit
>>11887444I thought Thunderclash or Thunderwing were rumoredOr did I hallucinate that?
>>11887457Thunderwing is 2027, Thunderclash is confirmed to be a retool of Motormaster/Menasor but where and when they'll release him remains to be seen.
They need to give Japan another shot of a cartoon. We need another Armada.
>>11887495No we don't. Armada literally tanked the franchise in sales and made Hasbro lose more money than they gained, it pushed the franchise into the dark ages until Hasbro's hail mary plan with Bayverse returned things back to normal and then some. What we need is more G1 and Bayverse because that's the only good thing to come out of Transformers.
>>11887501It was not armada it was energon
>>11887495Trigger is basically frothing at the mouth to do one. Hasbro are the ones keeping it from happening.>>11887501The burning seethe in this post is so intense that I'm getting a tan just from reading it.
>>11887131Where the hell are you putting it that it gets that bad? I have the OG Siege fig and it's still fine
>>11887512Sometimes you can have them out of a box, away from a window, cool environment and regularly mess with them and they'll still turn
>>11887506Same diff, energon was nothing burger anyways as it only became a continued downward trend. It's only thanks to Bayverse does anyone even remember Armada exist because it caused it to be a retroactive success. >>11887509Cope and seethe, you'll never get your Arnada live action movie and endless nostalgia milking like what G1 and Bayverse got.
>>11887512og siege is fine, it's only the later ones that yellow like hell. at least spoiler pack and netflix release. not sure on premium finish.
>>11887519>energon was nothing burger anywayEnergon is still the single worst transformer show and it was the actual cause of why the unicron trilogy went to shit
>>11887518My Origin Bumblebee only recently started changing colors; he stayed perfect for years, and I usually have pretty good luck with dodging yellowing issues.
>>11887522Armada, Unicron Trilogy whatever it doesn't matter. All three were equally shit and are responsible for the dark ages of Transformers for losing Hasbro sales and money. It's because of those three is why Hasbro greenlit Bayverse as their final plan and it paid off big time. Everyone who is a TRUE Transformer fan and not a larping tourist will tell you that between G1 to Bayverse, literally nothing good and noteworthy came out of Transformers other than Beast Wars.
>>11887526>All three were equally shitThey were notarmada had a fantastic second half arc and had big toy sales in its entire runEnergon sucked shit but the toys killed momentum that cybertron never recovered but the toys were still selling decentlyanimated was goodprime was goodrescue bots was big
>>11887537No it did not anon, armada failed, energon failed and cybertron failed. The armada trilogy literally became a footnote in history because of the absolutely shit sales and negative reception it received. Bayverse is what saved Transformer and kept the franchise going because it didn't treat the audience like toddlers unlike the armada trilogy and the toys were also not playskool shit. Literally anyone online will say the same thing anon, you're just in denial because only you think a megazord optimus is good.
>>11887501>>11887526>>11887539Been a while since we've seen youDumbass
>>11886951How is this inferior again? It serves the exact same role as being landing gear except now Jetfire himself also has landing gear if you prefer.
>>11887537>but the toys killed momentum2004 was still a great year with multiple concurrent toylines (including Energon which was more popular than people think) running at once. The impact of Armada just wasn't going to be topped in a year it was never going to happen because Armada itself was gradually losing steam in 2003 anyway.Btw Prime sucked. The show sucked and the toys sucked. I don't know why people convince themselves that it's good just because it was the only watchable cartoon on HBO at the time.
>>11887447>JTprime is legit with his leaks right?usually, if he's wrong he's either got older outdated info or they got cancelled.
>>11887455Gotta give Combiners some break anon. Next year is already leaked to be Thunderwing.>>11887537>Energon sucked shit but the toys killed momentumOnly the show sucked anon, the toys did well and is a success but not enough to reach Armada's heights or even surpass it. But it definitely isn't a shit toyline that somehow made Cybertron unable to recover.
>>11887644>>11887455at least you get Defensor in 2028. Still waiting for a good Abominus
can't wait for Hasbro to inevitably monetize Peter's death
>>11887729it's already leaked that they're releasing a dead 86 Optimus Prime some time in the next yearextremely awkward timing, wouldn't be surprised if they delay it just because the optics would look bad
>>11887744What a gay idea, dead Optimus doesn't turn into a truck, he doesn't turn into anything because he's dead. There's no reason for a grey 86 repaint, just release a statue of the corpse since it doesn't need to do anything but lay there in the death pose. The only articulation it'd need would be the neck, maybe the chest could open up but that's optional.
>>11887745Dead Optimus has always been a viable deco for prime molds. The MP one stills goes for a lot nowadays.
>>11887752It's always been a dumb idea, then.
>>11887455Are they going to do it correctly this time or is it going to be more frameslop?
>>11887755True, but this is also Hasbro. Don't forget they have made figures of the movie characters as corpses with bullet holes and horrified headsculps and sold them alongside their other figures, this shouldn't be surprising.
>>11887758You're a retard.

Saw Pulse restocked the Timelines Japan Optimus and Starscream so I got it since I've been wanting it but it's been sold out for awhile. Also Walmart has the Heart of Steel set for only 40 bucks which is a good deal.
>>11887777Would be funny if after all this time, this is how they finally release the Siege mold in a plain deco without any battle damage or toon shading.
>>11887824chances are it'll be in pink like if that Valentine's Day Ewok or Iron Man Hasbro's done before is anything to go by.

>>11887765>Those seekers look radThey do. They’re pretty much an actual 10/10 looks wise. SS86 Optimus, Megatron, or Soundwave tripped at the finish line, aesthetically. The seekers are the first true mini masterpieces. In a thumbnail photos you can’t even tell them apart. The unfortunate thing about them is their lackluster articulation. Both their knees and elbows are limited to a hard 90 degrees, amongst other areas their articulation falls short of greatness. >I wish I could find them at a store.Skywarp is hitting stores now. >>11888329I think there were a few in the comics - unfortunately, the humans they befriended were as equally evil and deranged as they were. Also, Browning and Cancer were close - I'm pretty sure they ended up staying together even after the ending of Super-God Masterforce.
