I printed some stuff off this weekend: thanks again to the anon who posted the pile of cash posted a few threads ago. I printed it at minis scale as an objective marker, and might print it at toys scale but man that'd use a lot of resina statue of bastet for my Catwomen to steal from each othertwo Starman Jacks and I was expecting printing errors so I ended up with three cosmic rods. maybe one version will be clean shaven and the other will have the goatee. not sure what kind of base I want to go with, but I'll be painting a Starman Ted too so I want them to have something similar

They have some hero characters so with a little fudging you can kinda make custom heroes or just play premade profiles with alternate models.Spectre Operations is another really fun skirmish game with like six or seven operators on each side and each one is like a John Wick ultimate badass. It's a super low model count and a free version of the rules is pretty easy to find.If you're into minis and DC, Monolith's Gotham City Chronicles is the best Batman game ever made. It's adapted from their Conan the Barbarian game, so Batman is this unstoppable motherfucker who can wade into whole squads of henchmen to get to the Joker, or play it sneaky and sneak up on Joker and save his energy for any tricks or traps along the way. There are a couple editions and they have tons of Batman heroes and villains, so it's super fun to paint. The actual gameplay is the most fluid and dynamic system I've ever tried, this is a must-have you can replay a million times. I think there's an expansion where you can play as the villains against Batman and the cops and he's like a horror monster you want to do everything you can to avoid.

It turns out a lot of customizers warn against using primers and sealants on McFarlane's figures because it causes a chemical reaction with the plastic and makes things melt.So I need at least one to replace my display figure, and two more cheap backups I'll keep in different locations as insurance. Six Power Girls all together should be enough backups to last the rest of my life.

It isn't melting like when people use enamel on the soft plastics, it's more like it's turning grey. I dunno if it was the humidity in the air getting trapped, because I've used the same sealer on other figures and not had any issues.It's barely noticeable unless you're autistic about Power Girl being pristine. In a weird way, the light grey actually absorbs light better than the snow white which comes out super exposed in photos, so now I'll have one that looks perfect on display and one that's better suited for photos.I know that's a wall of text but maybe other customizers here can learn from my fuck up.
