Modding the shit out of my N1.
It always irked me how none of them got the front truly right. There's either not enough yellow between the cockpit and nose of the ship, or they try to fix the issue with abhorrent stickers.
If only those big gray 10x3 wedges existed in a 8x3 format, could have brick-built the colors and shaping how I wanted it, but here I am committing cardinal sins instead.

After hours trying to figure something out I genuinely understand the struggles some of these designers had.

Well, the way I figure it, the overwhelming majority of people who actually want female heads either want them for waifigs or they're the sort of mouthbreather who actually *wants* to have a table of 50%+ girlbosses. If the latter, hey, mission accomplished, and if the former, well of course Lego will make things worse for them out of spite. So really it's an entirely rational move on their part.

What the fuck? 10th level and up spells have been not only illegal but full-on impossible since the Fall of Netheril. I don't know what kind of shady backroom deals you made to finance this project, but enjoy the surprise inspection from the Mages' Guild.

Unlike my other Adventurers MOCs, I guess this one is closer to a remake than the others - specifically of the Dino Explorer. A couple of the Dino Island vehicles strayed a little more into sci-fi than historical, with really exaggerated tank-cars and amphicars, and I thought those were pretty cool.

Boxfags do you keep manuals in their boxes or do you store them somewhere else?
I bought a few used sets that came with instructions but no boxes, so then I kept those loose manuals separately but now I am wondering if I should just do it with all of them or not.
>>
>>11901420
It's another shining example of how feminism ruins everything. Letting femoids work for LEGO was a mistake.

That middle sticker is salvageable if you place it on a 3x2 yellow tile + 2x1 gray tile, need to change those clips holding the glass from gray to yellow too.

All of them basically have good and bad things about them, so the "perfect" N1 would be to combine all of their good aspects into one.
For example the newest one is probably the worst one, but it's the only one that has the cool trans blue booster parts on its engines.
>>
Why is everyone complaining about the gingy head cracking? IT IS A FUCKING GINGEBREAD MAN! of course he cracks, this was INTENDED by lego to give you a little extra realism.

>N1 doesn't translate well to legos regardless of design
Maybe you're right, or at least not with those big wedge pieces.
I ordered some extra plates and tiles but I just cannot seem to get it to work, the top part right before the glass just ends up looking too flat with just tiles, and studding it up at some places also hasn't bore any fruit.
Maybe that shitty top sticker from the N1 that I don't own will make it work, but if that fails I'm going back to the drawing board.

Almost all bricks have an injection mold mark somewhere, and their place can also vary depending on what year the brick was made.
In any case, you can almost always place bricks in a way that those marks are covered up by placing them into the direction of another touching brick, or even just in a way that is the least visible.

In that image particular, he could have flipped those tiles 180° and those mold marks would be against other tiles aka invisible making for a much cleaner look.

You'd think displayfaggots like solid brix and mandr, or even fucking jang that acts like an expert on geometrical science, would be aware of this, but they quite literally do not even seem to see it nor be bothered by it.

The worst feeling in the world is getting a printed tile with the print oriented in such a way that the injection mark has to be visible or the print will be oriented incorrectly. Either that or when you get curved plates with those awkward injection mark placements that are impossible to hide in some cases.
