The green standard Dragon Masters are the Elite of the elite, the Black Knights are the soldiers under their charge. Sort of how in Final Fantasy 4, Cecil was a Dark Knight but the Redwing soldiers wers under his charge. I call them all Dragonmasters as a faction, but the classic Dragonmasters I call Dragon Lords. For NEW figures, I swapped pants on some Viking/Castle figs with the new Sea Serpent guy to make new guys all blue and other guys in all black. All the guys in the Sea Serpent are Black Knights. Wish they made new Dragon Master torsos, I only have 1 from my original collection.Also pictured here is that Sea September GWP that I got with a pick a brick order. It was a fun build, very easy and put together in about a half hour or so. I made a few small modifications I thought really improved it. Extended the flag pole on the back, added a a handle to the secret door, added more armaments like a barrel of swords and arrows and the two axes. Also gave em a brown frog figurehead. I tried using the brown chocolatier CFM dragon i stole from my partners collection, but it looks off. Frog doesn't make as much sense, but its fun~ and I like fun.
Thoughts on the poleaxe/warhammer? I also came up with a gothic spire made from technic axles.

Doing a decorated gate is really hard with only 4 studs to work with. If i recall, my main gate was a similar size to yours, then I wanted to do a decorated gate like on the Bricklink Mountain Fortress so I expanded the gate size a little.

>>11907369Thanks. During the latest changes, I moved that little tower over to the left and raised the outer walls by 1 brick making the ceiling tall enough to let a dragon pass underneath. The aft gate can now serve as an entrace to a dragon's den under the kitchen.

Honestlty the initial use of urps wasn't too bad, like the wolfpace tower for instance, and it was the mid 90s that went crazy with them. It's a shame because some themes like Fright Knights were amazing thematically but plagued with poorly aged sets because of them.

about a month ago I found an opened but taped shut lego minecraft crafting table at a thrift store. I bought it, and after opening it up, I found it was all mostly still in the bags. the only bag that was open, was the first one, and I only had to replace 3 pieces that must have fallen out. someone had even started putting the first bag together, but had, after only a dozen pages, given up. I even found why, they had fucked up the directions just a few pages before they quit, and the most current step wasn't possible.got a bit sad when I realized what had happened. some poor minecraft-loving child got this set as a gift from parents who thought it was just some fun set for children, and wasn't able to put it together. he gave up, and it sat in a closet untouched for many months before the parents donated it away.

But I'm not opposed to add greebling as large monochrome walls would look boring. Building a black castle is very challenging as the black sucks up all the details, so you need to contrast it with greys.
Just finished building the Joust set. Its pretty cute. The open backed opposite side has nice details. It actually uses mostly different parts to build the horses from the first main build that also brick built horses. I wouldn't buy multiples of the set to do it, but I like that you could potentially connect this to the main set build as well.
