This cricket ninja is the only Sexy Ice figure I have been interested in and now with the breakdown of his design, I am dreading how much he'll cost. Considering all Chinese figures seem to be increasing in price, I suspect it'll be outside my limit. I am fearing Inart's massive price increase with seemingly little pushback from all the shills in the """"community"""" it's going to set the trend going forward and other studios will follow suit, we'll see though I guess.In general, I'm hoping we see some progress on some of the figures that were revealed by people at last Wonderfest, Fish Toys snake warrior girls for instance, we haven't heard anything about them since. I don't think I actually have any Chinese figgies coming in any time soon, all my pre-orders are far away I think.

Take Anthony Customs for example, watch his recent review of the Wukong, he starts off with his usual "muh objective, I'm gonna say how I feel, nobody can keep me down!" then proceeds to say shit like "what even is price REALLY? Something's worth is defined by your comfort in paying it!" etc. despite spending like 30% of every figure review harping on about the price/value proposition. He literally at one point, when talking about the price, reinforces how he is being objective and then instantly says price and value are subjective to each of us, it's absurd. Aspects he cries about on literally every figure he glosses over, like lack of torso articulation, can't look up, ankles and hands barely move, but it doesn't count this time, 9/10 and his insipid soft tone like he's critiquing his girlfriend's pottery, it's so pathetic. He isn't the only one I'm just using him as an example, they are all so desperate to be "in" with Inart or whomever, these same people who constantly (rightfully) bemoan McFarlane, Hasbro etc. for price changes just all communally completely ignore or downplay Inart's basically across the board 30-50% price hike (and it's all their figures, not just Black Myth). It really reminds me of what happened in video game coverage a decade ago, remember the whole flying everyone to a God of War spa session in Sweden or some shit? Sorry I had to rant to someone about this shit, I'll shut up now. Also the figure looks gorgeous still, not a slight on it, they really went all out on that one.

I’ve found a lot of Chinese lines tend to be light on paint apps/have awful color schemes so it’s not surprising, but it’s also not super upsetting. He’ll fit in fine with Eliminator or Manticore depending on the setup. But yeah now that this is on the way I have no interest in getting anything else from them.

I think it's almost more of an issue with the other figures having such similar/bland schemes, because this one fit's the dark cyber assassin style much more. The Manticora and Ant being black blobs after the Mantis was pale was a weird decision for me, that was their opportunity to add colour into the line.
