I finally got Liokaiser yesterday, and have been fiddling with them all day. I like them a lot despite their various issues, and I think getting all 7 of them at once does a decent chunk to mask their individual issues. I couldn't imagine being stuck with the oddly proportioned Leozack for months before getting his mates in, but having them all at once makes me look at him and go "oh yeah he's odd but he makes for a good torso." I do wish they weren't £300, definitely too much, but that was last year's overtime money.I do wish he had a big sword and a big Deathsaurus-y cannon too, I know they never used anything like that in the show but man that would be cool, really just make the dude a Brave. They coulda made up their own knockoff Lyzack and Esmeral who were weaponisers.

No the original cartoon even though he is supposed to be chunky but he still looks somewhat streamlined. They say you can have the nosecone flip up to mimic the cartoon look but that just does not work. Without the nosecone the general body proportion looks just off like he forgot to wear pants. I still think they made a mistake using the mistranformed look for the chest even though in hand that problem is really minimal. Anyway, the biggest problem I have with the figure is the QC. One of the arms is really loose, another have a bad scratch on the face and the shuttle Bay wings do not want to stay, a badly painted shuttle windshield etc ..I ended up kit bashing the 2 figures into one decent one. Thank God most of exciting stuff came out in the last 5 years so my transformers purchased has slowed or else I don't know how I'm supposed to deal with all the increasing QC issues.

I misjudged Cyber World. I dismissed it initially but binged it yesterday and really liked it. Snarl is my favorite character with him being chuuni as fuck. Ordered some of the toys since I liked the characters. Not a perfect show and there's a bit too much comedy even during the serious moments but nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be and it surprised me. I also really like the unique takes and designs they're doing like kraken Soundwave and spinosaur Shockwave. Even Mirage being a jet now is kinda neat and uses his gimmick pretty well.

Swindle is definitely the weakest of the Combaticons but he's still pretty awesome. I've found his transformation joints work pretty nicely as butterfly joints if you don't overdo it.

It got 14 figures that are just relreases of older figures with no new accessories, that (unless you became a BW fan in the past 2 years) every BW fan already owns. It got little to no acknowledgement by Hasbro, no anouncement or tweets on its actual anniversery date a couple weeks ago. KP while yes also being rereleases, are rereleases of exclusive figures that came with a Blaster that a lot didnt want and weren't able to get. It has new accessories with the acrylic stands and got the original artist back to make them. It's at least something new, compared to BW, which should have gotten a proper anniversery due to how important it is, got completely shafted and mostly ignored baring those box sets. >no Alternators in generations nor reissuess in sightI do agree we should get something for Alternators/Binaltech, not necessarily just for KP but in general, imo some of the best designs come from there. I think the issue with Beast Wars is they only have the Transmetals designs left but they're not sure how to do them in a cost effective way. Also Beastformers seem to shelfwarm hard these days. Hasbro spent too much time ignoring Beasts in favor of vehicles and modern fans do not want Beastformers.
