You could have fun worldbuilding how different species would live, giving them reasons why they aren't like humans. Maybe make them more impulsive and emotional because it is harder to control their instincts. There are some options, I would just like some commitment if it ends up mattering.

Anyway, I just had a good rest and I hope everyone else here did too! Y'all already on the Pawbert talk, so I just wanted to gauge how people feel about him.Me personally, I think people need to recognize that Pawbert is not the innocent little lynx people think he is. He's dangerous, and an attempted murderer - but I'm not just gonna throw away his chance for a story to be more fulfilling.Storyboards and past scripts sort of prove that Pawbert was gonna be a deeper character, and even in the end he still has that Partnership for Dummies book. He was goal oriented the entire movie for the wrong reasons, so much so that he even exclaimed that, "He doesn't want to be different."And after muddling through the idea for the past day or two, I think that's what makes his character so interesting to me. A character so resistant to innovation because he and his family are so steeped in tradition, a family that doesn't even consider him a Lynxley. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the idea they were going for was to have the Lynxley mother die in child birth following Pawbert's arrival, which is why Milton despises him so much. Milton, being the overbearing father that he his, also passes this hatred toward Cattrick and Kitty so they also turn on Pawbert. It's sort of a Tyrion Lannister type deal, where yes he is family but not a part of the family.I think a redemption arc for him would be possible, but there needs to be more reasoning for him to even cross that line. Being in prison with his family isn't enough, there would have be much more realer consequences and higher stakes involved. He would have to truly reflect on what he's done, and repent fully as to pay for his crimes. He probably won't become an officer like Nick or anything, but he would set off on his own little journey, taking a last name that he could probably make proud of. His character is just so flawed and jagged, it'll take a lot of sharpening to get any real work done.
