Mounting and riding them depletes the bar at a rate commensurate with their walk/sprint, and then them getting hit while mounted also takes out a chunk. Maybe better ingredient meals or slotted skills allow the bar to be bigger, also could feed into Seikret armor. And once the bar is depleted they either RTB or follow you around and maybe provide some kind of support, but then you're kind of on your own to travel. Might clash with the maps themselves not being optimized for Seikret/non-Seikret travel, but that might be mitigated by Hunter-only shortcuts...
