Decided to stop just longing to be able to render and do something to start, First time dipping my toes in value, how does it look?I tried to break it all into layers and steps because i can only handle one thing at a time.form shadow, based on the angle between the surface and the lightcast shadow, blended them the further away they were from the origin.bounce light, airbrushed white onto any surface near another hit by lightambient occlusion, shadows where surfaces make contact or are close.got to admit that the outlines (not visible) are traced but all the light work was done manually.

Finished Scavenger. Have to say that despite my initial apprehensions regarding the art style, I was pleasantly surprised. The sex scenes did nothing to me (anything skinny does nothing to me) but the setting was interesting and the plot was handled well enough to make up for it. Crom was also a decent MC, he's as good as mopey loser type of MCs can go. 3.5/5 stars from me.
