Characters + Fights should always take higher priority over lore for an action show. Shonen gets that concept no problem. Putting lore above that stuff is a good way to kill your series, since you're not giving the people what they want. Most people don't like their entertainment feeling like homework, because they aren't autistic like you. This is why people with ADHD make for better creators instead of actual autists. The former can deliver rule of cool and fun stories no issue, while the latter obsesses over little details that nobody but them cares about.
