Maybe it's also because patterns are set and easier than even non-bullet hells usually are! But it's very doable even if you don't play those kinds of games. If you get frustrated either remind yourself it's okay to lose and to not understand a battle at first, or just take a break. For me, it's the kind of game where I get frustrated but when I win I see how well done the challenge was and feel great. In some games when I win I'm like "ugh finally, now I can stop doing that" instead. Think about your gear set up, make sure you have good healing items, and if a fight's giving you trouble think about the patterns. When some are hard for me to dodge, what I do is try to perfect the ones I *can* dodge so that I have leeway to tank the ones I can't. Strategize!
